This place has really friendly staff and great customer service. Hector frequently helps me out and he should be promoted he is a great guy and will take care of you.The people wearing red shirts here are awesome employees and should spend more time up front with customers or on the phone with customers.This is also a well staffed location unlike Vista. The vista location takes twice as long to wait for a car, but not this location. Super fast, super friendly.

This is a really good place to do business with. I recommend them to anyone looking for a good company that doesnt push the sales.Theyre honest and very fair too. Their prices are great and they have alot if locations. They check air pressure, rotate tires and fix most flats for free.Besides myself I have referred my children and my girlfriend and her daughter to Discount tire. I dont worry about shady service or high pressure sales tactics like some other places do, especially with women.If you need anything, they will let you know. I have been buying my tires and getting my flats fixed by Discount tire since I have found them. I highly recommend them to anyone who asks or needs service related to tires.

This particular location is my favorite. I came last year to buy tires and I got a great deal. Plus, the warranty was perfect too. My car was all over the place on the freeway and I took my car in to see what the problem was. Within no time Discount Tires was able to fix the problem in less than 30 minutes and my car drives so smooth. The customer service is excellent and the guys are on top of every customer who walks in the door. Their knowledge and know how is amazing. Always smiling and fast with the service. Negative stars... horrible service.. needed tire on the way to North California. Called and asked them they said yes, when I got there I was the only one in line and no one would acknowledge me and even ignored me. Must have been my attire since Ive been working or maybe because I was the only Mexican there. Full of others just sitting, Like if theydidnt want my business. So I went to Chinos tires around the way. Bought 2 tires and gave him 100$ tip for great service. I was willing to spend more but he had great deals. If you dont want my business no problem. I had an appointment at opening and was discouraged to see the long line already formed at the door. That quickly changed when my friendly Discount Tire rep met me at my car door, greeted me by name and escorted me inside, assuring he already had my paperwork ready to go. Within 15 minutes they diagnosed my tire pressure issue as a faulty valve stem and promptly replaced it, free of charge. My tires are factory dealership stock, not Discount Tire purchase or installed. Actually I havent purchased tires from this company in YEARS! Why did they do the work, free of charge? Why were they so friendly and efficient? This is not normal... but I absolutely love it! Every tire I ever buy will be from this company and this location. Thank you for amazing customer service. You really care, and it shows.

Got new tires from the great staff. Super helpful and knowledgeable. On the way out of the parking lot I was flashed by a homeless woman walking by. Not the best pair but it was free. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. Discount tire i mean, not the bum tiddies. 2/10 on those sad dog ears.

Great customer service from start to finish. One of my tires had lost some pressure overnight so I took it to Discount Tire to hopefully get the situation sorted out. I showed up just before 12pm as a walk-in and luckily the 12pm appointment cancelled so I was able to be squeezed in. Frederick assisted me with basic information/back story for my truck, set me up and estimated to have me out by 1230pm. I invested in the tire care program which pays off because it turned out I had a nail in my tire and it was fixed free of charge. My truck was finished at 1230pm on the dot making my Friday a lot smoother, what a great place!

The place had a decent amount of people and I was still helped quickly. I came as a walk-in because I just wanted someone to check out what was going on with the tire pressure on my front left, a problem Ive had since the last time I was here a few months ago when I just decided to get a whole new set of tires and rims here since it was time anyway. I came back with the exact same problem this week. Edward diagnosed it and realized that there was a completely different problem, apologized that they didnt find it faster, got me the part I needed in *less than 24hrs* and Im back getting it all sorted out today. Sitting here for the past two days, the employees have been nothing but polite to their customers. I will say it seemed like one of the managers was being a little aggressive while trying to convince someone to choose their service lol but that wasnt my interaction to review. Other than that, awesome and friendly service. Ill come to this location as long as I can.

Ive bought several sets of tires from this location. They arent the absolute cheapest place but they are pretty close every time. They turn over work fairly quickly and have a lot of the same guys behind the desk. I do wish the wait to be seen was a little less sometimes though.

The San Marcos location is VERY GOOD, hell, they ARE ALL VERY GOOD AT DEALING WITH TIRES... Even the Discount Tire store WAY ÜP north near Antioch, near San Francisco bay area. They got a brand-new Michelin Defender tire from the downtown area of San Francisco to their where i was at, my tire had only less than 400 miles on it with a 3/8 bolt in the sidewall, I was out of their store in less than 2hours!!! Can Evans tire DO THAT? .I dont THINK SO...

Honestly amazing. Got a screw in my tire on my 1 week old car and had a slow leak . Dealer insisted I needed a new tire. But I knew better. Took it to Discount tire and they said it just needed a patch and NO CHARGE Amazing. I made an appointment online and they were right on time with my appointment. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. If ever in doubt, take it to them and get honest answers. They are a very busy place so make yourself an appointment if you can. Thank you so much guys. You are my new place from now on.

Installation was fine, but employee who checked me out was not wearing a mask. I asked him to put one on, but he still lagged. Another clerk who witnessed all of this, went in back and returned with a mask for him, which he finally donned. Disappointed that my clerk wasnt proactive at taking my (and his!) safety more seriously.

If you need a place to help you with your tires this is the place to go in San Marcos, CA. I got here first thing in the morning with a flat tire. As a walk in the time of my visit was 1 hour. They patched my tire (complimentary) and they had my car ready to drive off at the door for me. They are very attentive and punctual. I would highly recommend this business as their service is top notch.

I decided to save some money and go used on the rims, found a deal on offer up for rims with new tires and bought them. Since then its been a nightmare of incorrect tire ratings for the car, bad valve stems, cores, slow leaks and other nonsense. Every single step of the way this place has offered courteous, timely, and careful service, often times without charging a cent. Doesnt matter who I worked with or spoke with, I was always taken care of and left every single time feeling safer in my vehicle. This location deserves your money and your confidence. Without a doubt I will go through them for all my future tire/rim needs and recommend anyone within driving distance of this store to do that same.

Had an 8 am appointment they did not even start on my truck until 9:20 am. However they were pretty slammed with customers. But the guy from the day before forgot to get my tire ordered. Be careful. Good deals on used wheels & tires, if you know what youre looking at. As an elderly woman, they tried to sell me a very worn wheel. Completely risty and the holes for the lugs had been worn oblong!When I pointed it out, they tried to tell me that wasnt a problem. When I gave him my look, including one raised eyebrow, he quickly went back and came out with a wheel that was in good shape. Same price.Again, definitely very good prices. I had shopped around. But if you dont know wheels and tires, take someone who does.

My time was waisted . Juan attended me and said my wheels were heavily damaged and un repairable. Thankfully, I went to a 2nd location and they thoroughly checked each wheel and said there was absolutely nothing wrong with any of them. This company lies to their guests and tries to get people to spend money they dont need to.

I was recommended here by my mechanic down the street and my visit here was splendid. I came in to fix a puncture in a tire (please note I have not been here or purchased here previously) I was assisted within 3 min of arriving and was ready to pay some fee for the service but to my surprise there was no charge to me, they did not ask if it was my first time nor if I had tires from this location, simple, fast service.
