Extremely awesome shop, carried a pedal that was hard to find here in the states, got me a great price and were courteous through the process. After searching for a music store around the area I found Vision Guitar. After many fail attempts I was getting from a local guitar center store I was in search for a new guitar store. My first impression, I was greeted by their friendly staff and all of these guys are really knowledgeable when it comes to guitars, gear, amps, etc. They helped what I had questions on and bought a new guitar pedal that only vision guitar carries. I’ll keep shopping here for all of my guitars, effects, amps, misc gear! They have won a new customer!

Nice, friendly staff, and great selection of high end gear & accessories.

The pedalboard build they did for me is perfect. I normally wear boots that make the pedal layout a bit tricky because my heel wants to catch the forward pedals. They were able to solve the problem for me easily. More importantly they were a pleasure to work with and focused on getting things right. I would definitely recommend them and I know that when I’m looking for quality gear or quality work in the future I’ll be be back.

Great place to shop if you are building a guitar, buying parts and as far as guitar effects, biggest inventory on the West Coast. Relax knowledgeable sales associates that helps you out and listens and dont belittle your taste like some other stores and their sales associates.

Best place in town for high end guitar gear and accessories. They carry all the new pedals day one and sell Friedman and Suhr guitars allong with a variety of local boutique amps. The owner is an actual guitar player and knows whats up. Also the hand sanitizer at the door is the best I have ever used.

I drove by this place at first, its in a light industrial park kind of place right off the street. Very unassuming. Im glad I didnt give up, because they are well stocked and sell really good quality stuff. They had the pedal I was looking for in stock, even though it can be hard to find. The staff was helpful, patient and knowledgeable. I felt unpressured and liked their recommendations. I will be back even though its a drive for me.

Cool place. Nice staff that are responsive to questions and knowledgeable without hounding you when youre just browsing. I love their huge selection of loose parts, its great if youre looking to mod or upgrade your guitar. They basically let you walk around their back room.

Vision is easily the best guitar store in the south bay area. They focus on high-end gear that you wont find at any other retailer in town. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Even if your budget is small, youre better off buying quality gear at a place like Vision.

Didnt like the place..

This by faaaar, the greatest guitar store in the Bay Area, and Ive literally been to them all. The amount of merchandise--especially pedals (boutique and other)--is unmatched. Not to mention a selection of very high quality amps and a smaller collection of top notch guitars. Finally, the customer assistance is amazing. The boss, Bryan, literally spent about 4 hours going over pedals, guitars, and amps personally. Seriously, this is the best store for guitarists you can find! (They also have an excellent online shopping operation if you prefer to order online instead of stopping by the store).

I’m so glad I found this spot. Great selection, more like a warehouse than other music stores. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. They could use a register system to ring up in store sales, but that didn’t bug me.

Very nice little shop. The owner and the staff know guitars, pedals and amps inside out. Great selection of higher end guitars, including Suhr and B&G, and immense selection of pedals. They can also fix your gear if youve lost a screw or broke a pot, or want new fancy pickups.

Do you need pedals? Yes? No? Go there anyways. So many pedals in the back. Very friendly staff helped me get the right components for a new board and walked me through most of their inventory. Its substantial.Guitar selection is quite good too. Very little in terms of single coils, but a big array of fantastic Suhr (Nash and others) that make this a great spot to try and find a great and unique guitar or pedal.They even have a huge selection of pickups, including Lindy Fralin!

A hidden gem! While looking for my first strat or tele, I went to Vision Guitar to try out some G&L guitars, which are not carried by Fender dealers. The staff and other patrons were very friendly and supportive. This store is much larger than it looks. Theres a warehouse of parts and pedals hidden in the back. I was surprised to find that the guitar that really spoke to me was not a G&L, but a lightly reliced Nash S-57 strat-style guitar. Id never heard of the brand before. The S-57 was so comfortable to play, and the Lollar pickups sounded so good, I bought it. I never thought I would buy a new high-end guitar with an intentionally aged finish! The neck in particular was super comfortable (the relic job helped in this regard), and I like the nitro finish on the body. The string action had an excellent setup, no changes required. Later I found online reviews stating that Nash guitars are equal to Fender Custom Shop work that costs twice as much. I tend to agree.
