I recommend a must try for this business. Im pretty sure you wont be disappointed.
DO NOT DO FINGERPRINTS HERE!I had to send fingerprints in for FBI Criminal Record check, and I made the mistake of choosing to.come here to do my fingerprints because it was nearby. I paid for the FBI processing fee and did my fingerprints here. While doing them, I could tell that the person taking my fingerprints either didnt have a clue as to what they were doing, or didnt care that the quality of the prints was not good (smudged, messy, etc.). I was worried, and asked if they were sure the fingerprints were okay, and they replied saying they have never had their fingerprints rejected (which I find quite hard to believe). Unsurprisingly, a few days later, I received a response from the FBI stating that the fingerprints were rejected because they were not done well. I came back, thinking maybe it was a fluke, and mostly because I didnt want to have to pay for fingerprinting service again, and they took my fingerprints again. Lo and behold, they were once again rejected. Not only have I already paid the FBI service fee twice now, as well as the fingerprinting service cost (which all went to the garbage), this process has become 10x longer and more painful than needed because I chose to come to this place.I have had my fingerprints taken for FBI record checks over 10 times and this is the ONLY time I have ever been rejected, let alone twice. Do NOT waste your time, money, or frustration doing fingerprints here. These people have absolutely no clue what theyre doing and will try to tell you otherwise.
Please DO NOT SHIP YOUR PACKAGES HERE because they OVERCHARGE. Please do yourself a favor and go directly to the shipper whether it is (UPS, DHL or USPS) instead because it looks like they overcharged me over $40 on a small package. They used to have friendly staff not anymore. Please especially dont go here when you see a super rude Asian young lady that works here and has zero knowledge of what is customer service nor how to talk to people normally without being agitated, annoyed or disrespectful to the clients. Please do us all a favor either learn how to speak with customers or quit your job.
Horrible experience at this shipping center! I came here to print a label and drop off a package they charged me $10 for printing the label and only told me the price after I used the printer. Very rude employees as well when asking how to use their printer the lady got mad at me and told me to figure it out myself. I DONT RECOMMEND COMING HERE!
Had passport photo taken at this business, but my passport applicationcould not be processed due to bad photo exposure. This delays my passportand have to get new photo sent to state dept. (else applic. & fee lost).
Went to them January 2019 for Live Scan services to renew my lawyer status. I get an email last week in October 2019 rejecting my fingerprints. It was an operator error: Union Post SF had typed in the wrong codes when they transmitted my fingerprints.I walk in today and I hope 2 have them redo my fingerprints. They say that it costs them to reopen the application because six months have passed, and I say fine Im willing to pay that cost. But they insisted that I repay the fee to them to do my fingerprints again, even though it was their error. I asked them to waive the fees as a courtesy, and they refused. She said her manager would not allow it. Now thats what I call bad management. They wouldve gotten more money from me, a practicing attorney who will need their assistance downtown on many an occasion, had they extended the courtesy. Not going to them again.
I needed passport pictures and a number of documents notarized for a European passport application. Service was friendly and efficient. I think this is the only place I would consider going for this type of service. Only thing that would improve the service is if they offered printing as well.
I dont ever write a review but this business is terrible. I went to UnionPost to ship a bottle of wine as a business gift. The staff were extremely rude and careless in the way they operated and tried to pack the bottle of wine. They didnt ask me any questions or give me any information when creating the packing slip, and when they realized they made an error, they acted angry that they had to redo work. They said they would need to fold my gift card in half to fit inside the box and I asked that they dont fold it since it would look unprofessional. They were unable to reassure me or to even find the right size box and were extremely rude. Ive never seen this level of unprofessionalism before. They finally found the box and the woman taped the box crookedly since she was doing it so quickly and carelessly and it had tape folded and taped at strange angles. Then they couldnt tell me what kind of packaging would be used and said they didnt know yet because they would have to try to figure it out. They said theyd been doing it for 20 years and knew what they were doing but it was obvious they had no clue what they were doing. The other customers were also shocked at their rudeness and lack of packing knowledge and suggested I go elsewhere. Looking at the box they had taped crookedly with bits of packing tape sticking out from it, I decided to get a refund and go somewhere else. I would never ship something so unprofessional looking to a business partner! The woman was EXTREMELY careless. She handled everything by throwing it around. She even took the gift card and wedged it into a corner of the desk where it was dented. Ive rarely seen a business with less professionalism and wonder how they stay in business. I had no confidence my expensive bottle of wine would arrive intact. I guess its much easier when youre just sending a letter. Still, these people dont care about what they are doing. They just want to get your money and get you to go away. I doubt they would be helpful if your package was lost. Hopefully you dont decide to give such a careless and rude business your money. They dont deserve it.
Had to get Dutch passport photos in a very short amount of time. Our local guy messed them up (I flew out all the way to SF to get my Dutch passport renewed, so I was a bit peeved.) The people from the consulate recommended this place and I was not disappointed. Very fast, competent, and friendly. Wonderful service, Thanks!
Service was friendly, but I just threw away $16 for unusable passport photos. The woman who took my photo kept remarking on how she wasnt sure how to use the flash and get the lighting right. After reviewing my photos later, I decided to return and have them redone by UnionPostSF, hoping a more experienced coworker could fix the issue. They accommodated my request, but the second set of photos was even darker (like a big shadow over my face). I wanted to support a local business, but the passport photo service was really unacceptable. I ended up at Walgreens and got perfect photos where they also did post-production to ensure correct lighting.
David has been very helpful and guided me through already difficult I -9 notary process describing how he cannot be both representative of the company I work for while acting as a notary to verify my signature. I recommend this place for the loveliest postal service and notary experience! They also have mailbox rental service with a very reasonable pricing for what you get. It also was a good find to get my green card lottery digital pictures taken (diversity visa lottery) .probably one of the very few places where you can get it done in a snap and the right way.they have postal services as well, along with FedEx and UPS.Very good!
My wife and I had several bottles of wine that we bought in Napa and we didnt have the room or confidence to check them in our airline baggage. Since you cant get bottles of wine through security as carry-on luggage, we found ourselves in a bind when FedEx and UPS both refused to ship the alcohol.Union Post came through! This was the only store I could find in the area that as willing to ship wine for us. The process was easy and reasonably priced for all we were shipping. I was provided a tracking number and the wine was professionally packaged and delivered exactly when I was told it would be here.If you bought wine and need it shipped home, this is the place to take all the worries out of shipping it home for you.
Expensive and useless. Had photos taken for German passport and confirmed they understood the requirements only to have the photos denied at the consulate... don’t waste your Money.
A small copy and shipping shop staffed by rude people. Special shoutout to the Polish (?) girl behind the counter that somehow couldn’t bring herself to step around and put the package in the proper place and had to ask me to do it, while failing to even explain what she meant and getting upset. Wouldn’t recommend going here, plenty of shipping/print places around this area.
Extremely friendly girls. I had to go here to take a passport photo for the Dutch passpoort. They also reminded me to buy a prepaid envelope. Very helpful.
I believe the owner is a crook and a liar- my advice is to avoid this business at all costs. I went in there for a digital service that they advertise and was told they dont do it but they do an older analog version of this service that is accepted for my application for about the same price ($37) instead. I took their advice and then found out that for the application in question they only accept the new digital version. I called ask for a refund and they told me to either drop it off or send it back to them and they would refund my money. I sent it back via USPS and followed up on the phone to make sure it had been received. The confirmed it had been received and said they were in the process of refunding my $37. I never received the refund and called again and was told it was in process twice and then today was told I was getting no refund from the owner Alex. It seems his employees had been stringing me along the whole time, they never intended to give me a refund. I asked why I was told to send the product back to them if they werent going to refund my money? Response was that Alex couldnt take responsibility for what one of his employees said. Avoid at all costs!
I ordered passport photos and the owner went out of his way to fulfill my needs. Definitely a person I trust.
Great service. My friend and I needed 5 sets of ink fingerprints on FD-258 FBI cards done and mailed it to FINRA. Even though we showed up about 30 min before they closed, they took care of us and were very helpful. We also needed to FedEx it right away.I also found out that they can make European style passport photos 35 by 45 mm.Clean, bright space + friendly & helpful staff. They didnt just do what I told them, but they helped me evaluate shipping options to pick the most economic method. I love a business that looks out for me! Ive gone in several times, and I always left feeling wonderful sending my business their way.
Had 2 different keys duplicated here. $6. Neither key works. Definitely wont be back.
They have very helpful assistants, who are quick with their work too. Its an all in one spot to get all VISA related works to be get done. I went there for my baby girls visa related work. They were patient with the infant photo and made sure everything came perfectly( took the photos many times till it came out well). The notary service was also quick and good but they charged based on number of applicants on each document, rather than number of signs they need to make. I dont know if thats standard or not, but it was costly. Me and my husband signatures were there on document and they charged $30 for each such page, to notarize.
Great place for passport pictures or any of your mail needs, friendly staff and very knowledgeable and helpful.
One Asian guy who helped me was really helpful, other guy was not so helpful.
Alex runs a tight ship. A great place for all kinds of shipping services.
Fast service, good location, friendly staff, had what I needed (notary service).
Dont go here! They charged me $11.95 to mail a USPS flat rate envelope from SF to SD. I came back to work and checked the cost with our executive assistant. She informed me that USPS flat rate envelopes only cost $5.05 to mail.I went back to the store 20 minutes later because I didnt understand why UnionPost charged me so much. When I asked the guy why I was charged $11.95 instead of $5.05, he said We are a retail store so we can charge whatever we want! I politely told him that I would just take my package and get a refund, but he said my package was already gone. I realize they need to make money, but $6.90 profit for one envelope is a ripoff!
They actually dont do any service, but direct people to the USPS. Skip.
Notary service in Financial Distric / Down Town of San Francisco without lines or appointments are available M-F 9-6 and Saturday Notary is available 11-4.Great shipping rates. Variety wine shipping boxes.Friendly custom packing and business services. Highly recomended.
Excellent and affordable notary service. No appointment, no wait.
Mailbox rental services offered by Unionpostsf are probably one of the best in the Financial district of San Francisco. We have rented a mail box for our new packages forwarding business and these guys came through with a fantastic customer service custom taylored to our needs. We needed a street address not a PO Box or a PMB. We had to do some international mail and packages receiving and forwarding via DHL and FedEx with our company corporate accounts. The most import - we needed people who can respond to our emails and phone calls quickly and who would have an ability to repack, relable and run multiple consierge services for us in a Bay Area. They do provide a variety of business center type services like notary public, printing, fax, copy, scanning etc.If you need to rent a mail box dont look any further than this afficent and reliable small business. Thumbs up!!
