I Have been storing my things at this location for over a year and I must say the staff members are amazing. They are extremely knowledgeable. They provide excellent customer service and the ladies I have worked with definitely go above and beyond. Carmen is one of the amazing team members. They make you feel welcomed and you know you your things are going to be secure. I highly recommend coming to this location.

I cannot believe the incredible service I continue to receive here. Roberto and co. Go absolutely above and beyond. They answer my random questions completely and without hesitation. They offered to assist carrying a couple large items to my unit when my extra help fell through. This is an incredible location, and unbelievable price, and the best continued customer service I have ever received.

My experience was wonderful at the location. It was quick, fast and easy. I reserved online and paid in store. Only thing I would suggest is if the site goes into detail about the storage fee AND how insurance can up the rental price on your rental. I went in there thinking I was going to pay one price, but ended up having to pay a higher price. Thank God it was still affordable, but to avoid all the confusion, this should be explain throughly as you’re reserving your rental space online. There should be no gray areas whatsoever. Thanks.

I was in the bay erea to do an moving drop for a customer. But he had not arrived yet so I came to ask the lady at the counter if it was OK to park besides the facility and wait for customer to arrive.(as I saw I thought she would give me trouble) but she was a sweet heart beginning to end . Also the gentleman working with her.? FyI forgot to ask her name.

Jenica was great, she has excellent customer service. She helped me get set up and showed me around the facility as well as my unit. The facility looks clean and well maintained. Im happy I chose this storage company.

So far they seem to be trying to con me into signing something which would allow them to penalize me for not moving stuff - which I dont yet even have stored - into some other unit by a certain time/date. Its bizarre.The trying to get me to sign a contract re arbitration is a sign of someone being tricky, to anyone that can read. No. I expect to be suing, frankly, after these two aspects appear right away. I paid for some storage in advance, and either theyre going to play straight with me or were going to wind up in court. I feel relatively certain theyre trying to steal from me.

Terrible experience here, I suffered discrimination and constant in appropriate singled out supervision by woman who worked there. After Two months of my business and a two month advanced in payment, I expected some decent treatment.

Staff was very helpful as well as polite. Im currently going through some real heavy “ish”, if you know what I mean and to be given service from people who actually care and want to help feels pretty damn good.No Cap I fuks wit em.

Curri, the site manager is truly an asset to Extra Space Storage. She went out of her way to make my moving experience a positive one. She was efficient yet warm and friendly. She made it a pleasure to do business with Extra Space. Though I no longer need storage, if I do in the future, Extra Space will be my first choice.

Rate was increased 20% with no notice after 3 months of service.My unit is listed on their site for 45% less than what Im now paying.Blatantly milking their existing customers.EDIT:After speaking with the manager, I was told that they would reduce my rate to what I originally signed up for. However, they did not decrease my rate and I am still paying way more than the price listed on their site.

Nice clean facility. Friendly staff. Very helpful. Parking off the street is limited but accommodates with a few mins of patience. Lets be real its SF. Very good for the city. I was in and out in less than 30 mins. All size units.

There is always a crazy funky smell that is nearly unbearable. The staff are pleasant and actual dumpsters that you can use at a storage facility is pretty remarkable. Compared to most other self storage in th San Francisco it is a steal. The smell though prevents me from giving more stars.

Im having an overall good to great and wonderful experience with Extra Space Storage! The great things about it: its clean, I feel safe, it feels secure and well taken care of. I also feel the customer service reps that I have met are top notch. Curi Smith who is the asst store mgr is really particularly helpful and wonderful! She helped me pick out another storage space when I was downgrading and was patient and answered all my questions and offered ideas. Also the phone rep who I initially spoke with when I first signed up was quite helpful and very pleasant as well. Remember the good old days of good customer service pre-millenial passive aggressiveness? Well they all have that here. Seriously every single one of them. There were a few confusions at the beginning and miscommunications but they all either helped me through those and made up for it or fixed it. Heres what you need to know to avoid the confusions I had: (1) the measurements are sometimes not exact: Lets say you get a 4x8. It may not be 8 ft exact because of irregularities in the space but the overall space is 4x8 - For instance sometimes they have a column in your space but its longer in other parts so overall you are getting approx 4x8. SO make sure you check out your space so that it works for you. They are really cool about it. I just didnt know and so I expected an exact space but its not like that. Also please note that the ceiling size may differ so check with your local person that is actually at the exact site. It still worked for me and I was happy to work with irregular spaces because the overall space was still good! (2) Be sure you are in the elevator before 15 minutes before closing. THe elevator automatically wont let you in. I thought you had to be in the facility 15 minutes before closing and the first time I did that I was waiting for the elevator a long time not realizing that was not a delay but rather that the elevators stop accepting codes to enter 15 minutes. They were nice because it was my first time and I didnt know and I still ended up leaving on time. (3) if you come in the morning and the carts are locked up you can call them or call the Extra Space that is around the corner and they can come open it for you. (4) try to come on off times because if all the carts are occupied you have to wait (which could be a while) or carry stuff down yourself if you can. Also car parking is limited (like only about 5 spaces?) so only once did i have to wait for a spot to open up. Hasnt generally been a problem so Im lucky I guess!Knowing this will help . Im happy that the employees care and have fixed any billing mistakes and issues I have had (which were barely none) and Im happy that they are patient enough to show me units to move when my storage needs changed and help me compare prices. I appreciate them and am happy to be here. Thank you Curi and staff for the great experience so far!

This storage facility is very clean and the staff are helpful. Theres 2 or 3 bays that allow people to park their cars inside to load unload stuff. They also have great online sales which is worth noting. I got my locker via a sale and Im paying 3x less than other people because of the sale.

We had no problem transferring our contract from one unit to another

Mike was extremely accommodating at this facility. I was running behind schedule when the I called the facility to ask if they would be open past 7pm. User access ends at 7pm throughout the week.As such I arrived around 6:50pm and technically only had 10 minutes to unload my belongings, which included several large furniture items. Mike was kind enough to let me and my friend finish unloading past business hours. I offered payment but he refused and was generous with his time out of common courtesy. Now that’s customer service. I really appreciate this and will use this facility again when I have a need in the future!

Facility is clean and feels secure. Juan was super helpful and courteous. Thank you for all your help!Note: Some units are on the 2nd floor but in a wing that does not have an elevator, stairs only. Be aware of this when choosing a unit if you have really heavy things to store.

The Assistant Manager and her team were very helpful in an unusual situation. I have a unit rented in another state across the country, and needed to add someone to my account as an authorized user. I also needed to make changes to my account, and they were very helpful and patient assisting me in doing so, even though my rental is in a different location.Excellent customer service.

I have found that EXTRA SPACE STORAGE, in Folsom Ca keeps their units extremely clean and I never have trouble accessing my unit. The manager, Sean, is quick to respond with any questions or problems. I recently had a credit to my account that should have been one time but because it mistakenly showed up a second time Sean gave me the credit. Little things like that makes me appreciate doing business with an honest company that does its best to keep tenants happy.....just like the old days. Thanks to Sean and everyone associated with this business.

This is a nice and clean closed storage. Rep. Mike is very professional and helped me with quick set up. I would definitely recommend this storage.

The place is good, the team is very helpful as well. During this Covid times, you cannot use their restroom, so please take in consideration that!The elevator works very well, our truck was able to part in the street and we got a very good and large spot. They also sell supplies! So if you would like to cover any stuff you can make last minute purchases.

Cant stress this enough, the staff here are extremely helpful! Chris knew I was in a rush to secure a space and was very accommodating, holding my space open after closing time so that I didnt need to lug items back and forth the next day. Huge stress relief! Ben storing stuff here sense 2015 when i was homeless the staff here have always ben good to me and during my first year of using this location they always allowed me use of the bathroom and treated me descently when i became employed and found a place to live i continued to store belongings here and although i live in a residential hotel Ive been collecting things for real apartment and when my employer needed extra space to store supplys i brought them here my only complaint is the cost its pretty high due to the location
