The Mission District in SF is a great place to wander around if you are looking for good food and good street art!

My rating is based on the fact that, though I love the idea of this store and its a nice space, I almost never find anything here. So if this place has got what you want, Id give it 5 stars. Otherwise, its selection is so limited that, if it doesnt align with your tastes, might as well go somewhere else.

It really is therapy... I was in SF for a week and shopped there twice, for myself and for gifts. The staff were SUPER nice and helpful.

The dress I bought here was of good quality. I enjoyed my shopping here though it was just small for they have friendly and accommodating staff. I highly recommend this place.

I love all the little gift ideas you can get in this store. Little desk name panels and small plates with sayings are so funny.

Good selection of gifts

Ive been shopping at this store for many years and I was so happy to find out they were open during SIP since I needed a gift for my bosss birthday. They had an employee greeting everyone at the door, and I explained to her what I was looking for and she quickly collected a bunch of different items to choose from. They were all exactly what I wanted, it was so hard to decide what to get! The employee helped me decide and I also had to do some personal shopping while there (because of course). They had very lovely face masks on display that are also super comfortable! I strongly recommend visiting your local store (or you can take a look at their online store from the comfort of your home!) and supporting small businesses during these tough times, its a win-win for everyone!

Fun stuff! Helpful staff

Its a cute store that sells a lot of the same stuff that all the other stores on Valencia sell: gift cards, candles, coffee table books and such. However, Therapy also carries hobo bags and wallets. They also carry lots of great socks of good quality.

I limped into Therapy on Valencia when my shoe strap had broken loose and would have made my pub crawl night a true crawl. They don’t sell shoes but were sweet enough to give me SuperGlue from behind the counter, plus gave me 3 yards of ribbon just in case my strap broke again. I love all the sales staff that night on 10/26/19!

The staff is very pleasant, sincere and knowledgeable and share with you immediately. I had a great experience ad recommend highly.

Great location in bustling Valencia Street. I enjoy browsing the eclectic range of apparel & accessories. Check out the magnets-most are hilarious! My favourite part about stopping by here are the hand-crafted jewelry. So many unique pieces to choose from at relatively decent prices.

I needed a couple of items to complete my Pirate outfit this past Halloween. I must say, the staff there were super awesome and helpful. They gave me input and suggestions to complete my costume. All smiles all around. Love their energy. Great selections and nice sale rack, too!

Therapy is a fantastic little shop with something for everyone. Lots of fun books and chachkis for decorating your house up a bit. Grab some clothes some candles and all kinds of knick-knacks and doodads.

I could go on and on about how cool this store is, but you really need to experience it yourself!

I got my first pair of skinny jeans here. Friendly staff. We best time for new inventory and sales. I took two friends here a month later and plenty of compliments on my jeans WITHOUT forking over 300 bucks!

Update: Manager was super awesomely helpful with a christmas gift. Switching to 5 stars (from 4)This place is great if youre looking to buy something for your little sister who just moved into her first big girl apartment. You can tell her to trade in her black and white picture of an attractive dead celebrity or the reprint of starry night for some much more adult (but not too adult) wall coverings, and perhaps her cheer sweats and college sweater while shes at it. The employees are super helpful and really nice. Worth a walk in if youre walking around the neighborhood.

Great small store

I started shopping at the Therapy in Burlingame a while back, and recently discovered that there are more in the Mission and North Beach! Therapy is a wonderful boutique, filled lots of unique clothing and accessories! They sell the brand By Boe here, as well as Hobo bags! If you cant find your size, the friendly associates are always willing to help! I have gotten items delivered to different stores at no cost several times. Highly recommend at least checking this boutique out :)

Great Place, Nice quality clothes (free people, vans, etc.), but my favorite are the knick-nacks and the Jewelry. When I first went to Therapy, I absolutely fell in love with their Jewelry, I bought one necklace, one bracelet, and two rings. Overall I felt that it was a little over-priced, except that they have lasted a really long time. However, I bought this pill container there, that was so cool (that I still have as well). On the outside, it was metal plated and had this cute polka-dot design on it. Still to this day, if you have never gone to Therapy, I would really suggest it. You can always find good things and they never run out.-X

Still one of my fav stores. The staff are lovely and super helpful, and there is always a great mix/selection of clothes and random knicknacks that make me smile.

Wasnt super impressed with the offerings or the prices. I did find a pair of cool socks, though. Might have been a 3 star experience except I got a distinct feeling the staff was following me around. This store isnt that big, so it was kind of hard to miss. After the 4th time having someone ask me if I was still doing all right? and then someone offering to hold the socks behind the counter while I continued to shop (because its such a burden to carry them around...) I decided to leave.I did break down and buy the socks, despite this, as I hadnt seen those socks anywhere else.
