Intersting store of souvenir art.
Love all the products and the staff is very nice and welcome. If you like to help local business, it is a good place to go. You can find very nice souvenirs here!
A must visit for tourists and locals alike; has an assortment of SF goods (food, apparel, kitchenware, art and more) with an edge and, void of Pier 39’esque tourist shop vibes.Great for gift shopping; gift recipients will hopefully feel joyed to receive the type San Francisco goods most tourists don’t have. When public transport is back to it, it’s easily accessible via the F train and, any which goes to the Castro Muni station (not even a block away). The shop is taking COVID-19 precautions as well.
Great to check in to see what is new. Great place to find something uniquely local.
Great little shop full of wonderful gay themed items. The lady we met was very kind and gave us helpful hints for getting around the Castro and San Francisco. Perfect place to pickup a card or pickup some of their original artwork.
I love this place! They have such a great variety of shirts, earrings, artwork and so much more. I love that everything is made locally. The lady that worked there when I visited was super nice and knowledgeable. I highly recommend checking out this place!
Stopped by here, such as great shop!!! There are many local items that are unique. A somewhat of an art gallery as well with local artists works. Very cool place.Very friendly staff.Good size store with many nice products.Parking can be tough.
Happily were able to ship the art we purchased. Friendly staff and lots of interesting finds.
Great place for locally made gifts. Great hand made SF treasures

Twelve people waited outside the store for over thirty minutes due to the “be back in 5 minutes” sign on the door. Plenty others came and went during this time and by the time we left only two remained. It’s pretty disappointing when this is the only store of its type around. This was also in the middle of a sunny weekend day so pretty silly on the company’s part to miss out on so much business.
Highly recommend if ur looking for a souvenir or SFO themed items that arent mass-produced in China. We just happened upon this after riding the street car to the end of the line, Castro district. Lovely, informative staff, and really intriguing merch. Really nice selection of graphic-Ts, also.
This is a great gift shop in the Castro (particularly with Wild Card so close by). There is art in various sizes by local artists (I love the representations of the neighborhoods). Creative ideas (candles, soaps, etc.) that are inspired by San Francisco and California. Very, very friendly staffers always wiling to take some time and help with a choice or inspiration.

Ive been wanting to check Local Take out when I first saw it a few months back. I finally had the chance to during one of the federal holidays that just passed. Its a cute store with lots of great local products. The two women who worked there were really nice. They had a meeting with a local vendor, so I didnt want to interrupt when I had a question. One of them came up to me to ask how I was doing. I asked if they had a medium of a shirt I wanted in the back, and she got it right away. She couldve said she would be right with me after the meeting, or she couldve ignored me. But she took care of me right away and I appreciate that.If youre in the Castro as either a tourist or a local, you should visit this place for unique merchandise.
I love this store!Very friendly employees and intimate personal shopping environment. You can really feel the positive vibes the second you step inside.Great for one of a kind knock-knacks,heartfelt keepsakes, and unique gifts.A landmark in the upper Height.
Owner is an absolute delight and extremely polite gentleman with a genuine love for his work and the patrons. You wont be disappointed.
Great stock of local artwork from local artists. Customers service is top notch, friendly, and kind.
One of my favorite places in S.F. The staff and owner are awesome.
As a longtime San Franciscan, this is where I buy wedding presents for foreign friends, and send my guests for SF souvenirs. Practical, locally made, thoughtfully curated gifts for every taste.
This hidden gem of a store at 17th & Market (where the Muni F Line stops) is my secret weapon for San Francisco-themed gifts. Almost everything is made locally and totally unique. Its the perfect place to find a gift for an out of towner, or someone new to the city. From art prints/photographs, to jewelry, to mugs and letterpress cards, to soaps and jellies. The prices are really reasonable too (think $5 unframed prints).

My favorite neighborhood collection of San Francisco themed artwork from the local stars, Kyra was an amazingly helpful host with the most. Great last minute gifts to keep for yourself.
