Brought my model 3 here to get the upper control arm fixed, and that got done. They then told me my tires were bald and that i need new ones, and they would send me an estimate.I was apparently emailed an estimate which i wasnt able to review or approve, but somehow got approved anyway. I had no intention of using Tesla for that specific service (tire replacement) but the representative made it seem like i had no choice, since my old tires were bald and they didnt want to put them back on. The only line of communication was through the app, in which i received no responses to any of my messages.I appreciate that it was then discounted, however I still intended on going with another service to replace my tires. This could have been avoided if my messages received a response.Next time Ill do myself a favor and bring my car to Burlingame.

Car was towed here due to power conversion system broke down. Got a loaner car and the repair took 1 week.
Courteous staff, in and out pretty quickly. I had an appointment to change the tires and they let me know that it would take a few hours (understandably). The entrance is in the side street right before Van Ness and is easy to miss.
Tesla service is substandard for such expensive vehicles.
I want to express my appreciation to Drew Turner who helped me return an item I bought on Tesla online and was having difficulty returning it because Tesla online would not respond to me. I brought the item to Tesla store in San Francisco and talked with Drew. Even though the item could not be returned to that store because it was bought online, she offered to help and diligently pursued to process it for refund. She could have just said sorry, you did not buy in the store and therefore cannot return it here. She went beyond her normal duties to help a customer. She made a very good impression on me about Tesla. I think Tesla is lucky to have Drew as an employee.

Very consistent 5 star service. Ive had many visits for warranty service as my car was one of the first Model 3 Performance cars delivered in 2018 when production issues were more common. Ive had a rear window replaced, body parts realigned, mirror repainted, signal module replaced, and AC smell service at the service center.They have taken care of all the issues with care, efficiency, and professionalism each time. Sometimes appointments are not available for a week or 2 depending on the demand for service. Of course, the population of new Teslas is expanding exponentially so its amazing they are keeping up most of the time.Hats off to the service team!!
The car drives great. The charging network is good and getting better. The interior and exterior fit and finish as needs work from a QA and materials standpoint. The service is very hit or miss. Sometimes it is great but often it is not. Id still sugget a tesla to anyone that can afford it.

I went in just to check out the cars since Im a huge fan of Tesla, not even expecting them to give me the time of day. They actually talked to me about the cars and even let me sit and interact with them! I wasnt pushed to buy anything and was encouraged to take pictures and videos of the cars.I went to the Lamborghini store down the street to also check out the cars and was totally ignored. Tesla is doing something right.

It’s a good thing they make great cars, because I dread coming to their service centers. Very poor, slow customer service. Things get fixed, but only after multiple visits. Also, the homeless tents throw things at my car when leaving the only exit. They should really consider improving their security

Dont take vehicle delivery at this SF service center if you can (take delivery at Fremont or direct delivery instead). I was naturally excited to pick up my new Model 3 and had a delivery appointment all set-up. I arrived a half hour early for my delivery appointment, but then had to wait a full hour for my car to be brought up and ready for inspection (and between that time I was asked twice who I was, even though I checked in multiple times for the appointment). And then on top of that, I was told I couldnt inspect the car without fully completing the order paperwork? That may be the normal process at this facility, but I know other Tesla buyers have had the chance to inspect their vehicle before fully completing the delivery process. Thats all I requested, and I was as patient as I could be with the staff without being over-bearing/demanding. I ended up cancelling my order just due to the negative delivery experience.Tesla makes the best electric vehicles out there right now and I know I will eventually buy one, but unfortunately the stories about Teslas subpar service are no joke... I can attest.
Professional and courteous. This outlet alone is trying to deliver 150 cars each day till Dec 31 against their capacity of 50. We got the model 3 car in 40 minutes flat with a trade in. The Car is awesome 👌
At the moment we’re very unhappy with their service department. We brought in the car to get a simple balance for all wheel and left with the car vibrating more than We’ve ever felt it... we brought the car in to Tesla to avoid these exact issues. The service provided was also sub-par, agents are not as friendly as other stores and I felt very rushed to get in and get out. I can appreciate they’re very busy, but I believe customer care should come first. They’re getting a second chance on Monday - hopefully they can do better then!

Great service center overall, they will take good care of you and work out your issues as soon as possible. It can be annoying at times when you call them for an update on your car in for service and they don’t answer, but an email always results in a timely response. There are good staff and not so good staff; my service advisor for my last few visits was Curtis. He’s great 100% recommended Curtis. He is professional, nice, and honest. Thanks for the help Tesla!
Great... not just the car... The process of booking too is different. One can check all features and feel the car from inside. Spacious showroom in the costly Van Ness Avenue.The staff is nice.

These guys are the best! Our car dealer Jacky did a great job of getting us the Toyota Highlander we wanted. He was professional, great communication skills and delivered on all his promises. The process to buy the car was smooth, we were able to come prepared and walk out with the car in 2 hrs! I would buy from them again!

Their adaptation to the covid crisis is really amazing! When you show up, you scan a QR code while seated in the drivers seat, which brings you to a webpage page to check in.Then a few minutes later, youll get a call from a service rep to go through the requirements of handing over your car, and then you just walk out!Very well designed.

Great service from everyone that I interacted with. The process of picking up my car was seamless. By far the smoothest car shopping experience I have ever had (including Saturn, R.I.P.). This place is conveniently located close to the 38, 47, and 49 bus lines, so you can easily ride the bus there to pick up your new Tesla.

Stopped in while in town over the holidays and the lady who worked there(didnt get her name) was one of the best salesperson Ive ever dealt with. She was genuinely enthusiastic about Tesla and it showed. She was also a delight to talk to and ask questions as she had all the answers and was very nice. This makes me want to own a Tesla that much more seeing as even the sales staff genuinely loves the brand as much as any enthusiast does!
Have received excellent service at this location for my 2017 Model S. I usually deal with Viktoriya, and the service manager, Chris. But all the employees are top notch. Even when there is an issue with service which sometimes happens, they always go above and beyond to make sure everything is ultimately done right to the customers satisfaction. Highly recommended.

The shop has transparent glass which offers outsiders a great look at the various Tesla cars.The attendants are very friendly and always willing to give one some background for newbies who don’t know match at Teslas. They are also kind enough to take pictures with curious electric cars enthusiasts.One is free to get into the cars interact with the various buttons available.
I like this location... but parking is a nightmare due to its position. Ppl here are friendly, they move pretty quick, always in and out fast. Dry yours off, get your rental and off you go. Thats all about it.

June is amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable and took his time with us.
My dad visited me in SF and of course I had to take him to drive his first Tesla. He woke that morning giddy with excitement and we Ubered to the showroom. This was before they decided to turn the showrooms into service centers and make everything online. Our guy showed us around the lot and pulled up the Tesla Model S... the car my dad has been eyeing for years. His eyes shone as he stepped his foot in and sat down and I think I almost saw a tear. It was like a little kid at the toy store. He got the full experience- auto pilot, self parking, summoning, accelerating, etc. I was afraid we needed to use force to get my dad out of the car! He was very impressed with the service and kindness of the staff at the showroom. They explained the entire budget and he almost bought it. But of course, the purchase has to be blessed by his wife. Overall, thank you to the Tesla showroom for making my dads day, if not week!
Finally a Tesla Service center in SF and one with outstanding customer service. Being an owner for 2 years Ive been to a couple service centers on the Peninsula who provided less-than-awesome service and quality. These other service centers would take weeks it sometimes months to get an appointment. Im very glad that this new Tesla location is online!

Really amazing service experience here, after my Model 3 was vandalized. Viktoriya Godsky is everything one could wish for, really cares about the customer and wants to make sure theyre happy with the entire experience. Everybody else was great too. Its a bit less convenient to get to than less urban service centers, but I will be back if I ever have to.

Delivery of model 3 was originally scheduled on 8/4, then rescheduled on 8/11 due to delivery logistic problem., 8/16 again was cancelled because the battery of the car went dead. During this whole month, I have to call and reach out to Tesla to figure out what is going on. Emails and phone messages were left unanswered. I frankly dont think they really care at all, and they assume issues will just go away. I was a strong believer in Tesla, but with this experience, not really sure why I am doing business with Tesla at all. I think you will be better off with Audi/ BMW or other compatible brands if you are shopping for a new car.

My husband and I visited the Tesla location @ 999 Van Ness in San Francisco, CA in hopes of placing an order for a Tesla Model 3 Performance. When we entered the showroom, there were 2 male and 1 female salesperson sitting at the table peering into laptops. We were not greeted, so decided to ask the female salesperson for assistance. She responded ok but never moved from her seat to assist us. After about 10 minutes, one of the male salesperson approached us and informed us, a different salesperson would be helping us. We inquired why the female salesperson could not assist us. During the conversation, the female salesperson approached us. She failed to apologize for her lack of response, so I asked for the manager on duty. She informed us, she was the highest level of management in house. I did not want to work with her due to her lack of customer attention and concern. We decided to contact management about this. While asking another associate(service) for a manager, one of the male salesperson approached my husband and I with a security officer. This made us feel unwelcomed, profiled, and as if we are unworthy of business with Tesla. The service associate ensured the security officer that everything is ok and he finally walked away from us. The service associate informed us both the manager and assist manager were not in house. However, he kindly attempted to reach out to them both via email. After waiting for almost an hour we decided to leave. This location should coach their employees on the importance of valuing the customer from the moment of arrival. This experience has us revisiting whether or not we should purchase a Tesla.
1st - I brought my 2018 Model 3 back after pickup at fremont delivery center for steering adjustment. Done the next day2nd - I brought back for tire rotation exactly 1 year later at 11000 miles. Done within 5 hoursMichael was very helpful, he check if there is any service recall or any change and give me max $200 uber credit for me to get around the city.No doubt, Tesla is the best car money can buy!3rd - I came back today 1/8/2020 because my rear tire got puncture by nail. Since the location is unrepairable I had to replace a new tire. I came at 9am and surprisingly open! CK quickly accommodated the service and the team gave me loaner tire to get me out in few minutes. When I came back at 3:20pm the tire is ready to install!Note: the price for 18” tire was $100 cheaper than my local tire shop in Sunset Distric.CK was superb! Thanks for your service man!

Thoughtful and knowledgeable, we came away impressed with Tesla and would definitely recommend buying one. If you’re looking to buy Tesla merchandise like t-shirts, get it from their online store and it isn’t available in this shop.

Service is a mess.My car was damaged on delivery so we scheduled an appointment to fix it up. I received one text message stating my car was dropped off (oh really?!) then absolutely zero updates for 3 weeks. My phone calls were ignored so I had to take time off work to get an update. Every time they promised a follow-up, they didnt. I showed up one day and sure enough my car was ready to be picked up; it had been sitting for a couple of days.This place is completely disorganized and they only handle service properly on a per-minute basis.I would have given one star but my interaction with the technical staff was good.
