I shopped around and looked at many cars with many sales reps. Dimitrii at Mazda was by far the best salesperson, he knows his Mazdas inside and out. Hes very informative but not pushy. He worked with me on several financing options. Unfortunately due to personal reasons I didnt buy a car from him, but would be super happy to talk to him again in the future.

Did not have a great experience with the service department at Volkswagen. Had an issue where VW service was going to charge me several diagnostic fees, etc to determine an issue. Went to get a 2nd opinion at another VW service center and they immediately pursued it as something under warranty with no charges. Unfortunately cannot leave a good review bc of my experience. as an avid VW enthusiast, Id recommend going elsewhere than Royal

This is a great dealership with great people. It was my second time buying a Volkswagen from Royal Auto - this time a Tiguan. I just moved here from New Orleans, LA, where I had a spectacular Volvo team. Talked to a salesman that knew exactly what he was selling, they people there were very helpful. I live in the northbay and i will probably always buy my car from these guys. I found a car about 3000 cheaper than anywhere else and only had 20,000 miles. So they were helpful, and best deals in the bay (that i could find) for buying a used car. Would definitely recommend

Going to the dealer is always going to be more expensive. However, if you are look for amazing service, patience, and an extremely knowledgeable staff this is the place to go. I am a person that likes to ask a lot of questions. I want to make sure Im getting the most for what I pay (SF isnt cheap) and I want to make sure I understand what exactly is happening (it never hurts to have peace of mind), and thats what I get every time I come to Royal Auto. They are all incredibly friendly, my car is fixed quickly and I could not have asked for a better place to go after buying a lemon of a car. I specifically worked with Aldo Chavez who likely recognizes my number every time his phone rings. I could not be happier and more grateful for the help I have received from Royal Auto. Would absolutely recommend!

Thanks Andy for resolving this!Original:I leased the vehicle on March 2020 and I have been missing my plate for 5 months and half since Royal Auto has forgotten to submit the plate application.DMV just confirmed that the application was received on July 10th but from the beginning, Royal Auto has blaming DMVs slow operation due to covid.Sure, picking the right car, giving advice, and treating you nice all happen when you are at the site looking for a car. However what differentiates from the good dealer to bad dealer will be nicely end the sales experience by providing end to end experience and not mishandling office work.

I turn in my Audi’s about every year or two and have always taken them here for service. Chris has been my guy for longer than I care to remember. Always efficient. Always communicative. And most importantly delivers whatever he promises (repairs, timeframe, costs if any, and completion times). Rarely, if ever, have I had to take my car back for the same issue - letting me know it’s resolved the FIRST time. All in all, great.

Purchased a used Mazda 3 with only 6000 miles on it but Royal Auto Group swapped out the original 4 tires with tires that had 50,000+ miles on them. I only drove a few months, another 6,000 miles, to find out that all tires were worn down to the minimum and needed to replace all of them which was way over a thousand dollars. At the time of purchase I inquired about how worn the tires were, and the salesmen reassured me that the tires were in amazing condition and that theyll last much much longer. I return to them a few months later with all tires worn down and they failed to take any responsibility and made it seem like it was my own problem. Awful service, awful experience. Extremely disappointing even after talking to managers and supervisors. Will not recommend anyone buying a car from here.

I worked with Sierra at Royal Motors to purchase a new Volkswagen, and I’m glad I did - she was very helpful every step of the way, giving clear answers to the questions we had, and checking in frequently enough without being too pushy. Would say 4 of 5 stars, but still a nice experience. Nice that after 90k, front brakes were the only concern, and a minor one at that. Speaks to the car, really. Anyway, missed the mark on pick up. I called ahead of time, because you email dvising me the the car was ready also said to give 15 minutes to paperwork and etc. All I needed to do was pay and print out the paperwork. But after I got there, had to wait 20 minutes before Dwight could help me. Was it because he was the only Mazda person and thus no one else could take a payment and print out the receipt? Thats a cashier function only, did I really need to wait for Dwight?Also, tire sensor came on two days before and then just went off? No explanation as to why it would register low and then be OK. Faulty sensor, dont know, was not given a reason, just told it checked outBut people were friendly and was given timely info on car condition and options for care.

Be careful and watch our re pricing. lots of moving balls and misdirection, especially regarding manufacturer rebates you are due that do not cost the dealer anything and financing proposals. one those were uncovered, the price shot up. ended up buying an Audi from Niello in Sacramento. first class experience and the story never changed from day 1.

Sold me a used 2016 Mazda CX-5 in May and when I brought to my local Hansel Mazda for oil change and 30K service, was told I needed new tires! Royal sold me a car with 3/32 tread left on tires. They spent 3 hours trying to get me to by an extended warranty and the car was still filthy and not properly detailed. Should have walked back in for a refund immediately! Very unhappy with this dealership. Never again.

Five stars for Justin Potthoff, our dealer. He is extremely knowledgeable and informative about the e-Golf, both used and new, both trims, the driver assistance package, and the availability of a great $10K discount that Royal Auto was offering to buy on credit with no prepayment penalty. He taught us a lot during our test drive. He was conscientious about following up with us until the sale, but not pushy. He also responded promptly to questions we had after the sale was completed.Three stars to Steven Louie, in the credit department. His manner made us uncomfortable (a lot of inappropriate laughing and fast talking). He kept us waiting a long time, wore us down, pushed products on us heavy-handedly (the service contract and the car surface protection treatment), and insisted incorrectly that the arbitration agreement could be opted out of AFTER signing away our right to recourse in the courts (including class actions) by contacting the arbitration organization. He assured us that the service contract could be canceled any time in the first 60 days, and that was true--we returned the next day and he redid our sales contract minus the service contract. We asked to leave out/not sign the arbitration agreement on the redo, but Royal Auto does not allow that. We understand that some dealers will sell cars without requiring an arbitration agreement, but we dont know if this requirement originates with Royal Auto or with VW.

Ya when you go to buy a car they are great until you have a service issue and they wont answer or return your calls and dont want to take care of anything that was their fault in the first place. Worst Audi dealership that I have EVER dealt with. Do not buy from these people. They will treat you amazing when you walk in to buy but dont let that fool you. Once the car is sold they could care less about you.

I had an emergency issue with my vehicle late into the Saturday afternoon. I found Royal Motive group and met Chris.This is probably during closing time but he went out of his way to assist me and made sure that my car was taken care of. He did it with very little problem and made me feel confident to be working with this group next time.

We had a good purchase experience. But they are unable to locate the master key to our car so we can’t utilize all the various “Audi connect” features. Minus 1star. We have been told it’s ordered, but there has been no update for almost 3 weeks. To date (only been 3 weeks) we haven’t had any service experiences.

On 10-May-2016 I went in to service my 2007 Mazda 6 for the airbag recall. I was told that I would be seen quickly and out within an hour, enough time to make it to my client. When I got in, I was told that it would take more than two hours. I said that I would need a rental. I was told that I would be reimbursed for the rental.It is now 19-Nov-2016, six months since the service date. I have called several times, and was always told that a manager would get back to me. Someone told me a couple months ago that it would be mailed out soon, but never got the call back from the manager. Now they are no longer answering my calls or my messages. I have left two messages in the past two months, neither of which were returned.If this dealer cannot take care of small things like this, I do not trust them for car repairs or sales.
