Harry and his team are amazing. The service that I received was exceptional. I brought in my LR4 for an oil change at the halfway point of a cross-country road trip. The Land Rover SF team did a thorough inspection, topped off all my fluids, and washed off 4.5k miles of dirt from my truck to make it ready for the return trip.

This office has been terrible. Horrible customer service. They don’t return phone calls, ignore texts, and aren’t being forthcoming with information about the repair of our RR. It’s disrespectful to treat your customers like this. Especially when we just bought this vehicle and haven’t even had it for a month. Its been about a month since I purchased my Evoque from LR of SF and Im happy to give them a full 5 star review. I started my interaction with the dealership with a phone call requesting further information on another car they had on the lot. Per my request all communication was handled over text.I ended up being put in contact with my sales person, Rory Yellin. Rory was incredibly patient with me as I went back and forth between two cars. He was courteous, knowledgeable and was most concerned with me being happy with my purchase. Id highly recommend working with Rory, and if you want to spot him in the dealership, hes right up front by the door.Once I decided on the car I wanted (Evoque Dynamic) their finance department worked on getting great rates from local credit unions and made the transaction seamless. I was only offered one add-on during signing, which was a nice departure from other dealers. I was in and out of the finance process in under an our.With about 2,000 miles driven so far, my Evoque has been flawless. Ive enjoyed the quick natured turbo motor around town, the great AWD in Tahoe snow and the perfect size for city parking. Even though the car is several years old I keep getting compliments on my brand new carIll be back when im ready to pull the trigger on a defender :)

One would think why would I go to the SF Land Rover when there is Livermore around the corner!- [ ] SF Land Rover answer the calls instantly, Livermore never picks up!- [ ] San Francisco Land Rover has appointments available, like this week. Livermore never has availability.- [ ] SF will give you a loaner car without having to explain why you need a loaner. Livermore grills you before a loaner is given!- [ ] Today I could not pick up my car after service, and land Rover San Francisco is dropping my car off in Pleasanton and taking the loaner vehicle back. That’s what I call Customer Service!!
Tino and the team were the best! Took care of us and even let us take an extended test drive on the vehicle we were contemplating. The Whole process was smooth and we were excited to capitalize on the extended warranty options available for financing! This was the overall turning point for us- One should expect to pay more for the maintenance/repairs of Luxury vehicles, but deals on extended warranties was impossible to pass out and sealed the deal for us. The service team especially Mr Rafael Ramirez, Ray Jew and Mr Cole has performed above and beyond the call of duty. Great dealership. My sales manager Rory had 14 years experience with Land Rover and answered all my questions with expertise. I have owned 4 BMW’s, and Audi S4 and a VW GTI. This experience was top notch and I am loving my new Range Rover Sport!
What I’m impressed by is they have an operation to get the customer in and out of their service shop quickly with respect to time. They have it streamlined pretty well right now. Checking you in, getting your service paperwork sorted, texting you updates, enabling you to pay online in advance of arrival, allowing you to text when you’re coming to pick up your car so they are all ready for you. I will say when scheduling the appointment, the website wasn’t user friendly and unhelpful, so I got an appointment set up quickly over the phone. Ray Jew was helpful to work with today.

Do not buy here! My wife and I bought a Range Rover from them 4 months ago and they still haven’t finalized the paperwork for it. Wali the loans and licensing guy won’t return emails and calls and neither will the general manager. I would like to get this finished so I can get the registration on this vehicle. I’d like someone to reach out to me. I’ll continue to spread my experience with others and ask others to leave their reviews of the poor customer service.Update: I’ve already tried emailing that email multiple times
I made an appointment online which was very straightforward and I got the day I wanted And the time I want it. As soon as I drove in someone met me and found my service advisor. He went over what needed to be done for the mileage I was at and gave a price and time I could expect my car. I paid for the repairs online (again easy.). My car was beautifully washed and ready when I arrived. Very pleased.
Were driving across country from nyc and need emergency servicing in sf. They took us same day and finished same day though they had no availability. Harry Ng and DJ are forever heroes to my wife and me, our 23 month old daughter and 2 dogs. All packed into one land rover
I enjoy the warm welcome and friendly demeanor from all the Land Rover San Francisco staff that I met up with. Ray was clear about explaining the forthcoming maintenance and service cost. Later in the day Ray responded promptly to my text when I asked about my vehicle. Of course I will return to this dealership for future service.
Recently needed to have some work done on our 8 year old Range Rover Evoque and was so pleased with the customer service of the Service Department. Harry was informative and responsive to all our questions, and made sure the transportation needs of our family were met while our car was getting fixed. So how is it that Harry at Land Rover San Francisco Service Department knows me by name, remembers my car’s service history, and remembers personal details about my life? Always excellent work and great service. This time communication was not as good - thought I was going to hear that my vehicle was ready one day, and I did not get an update until the next day. However, overall my experience has been very positive.
I was able to easily book an appointment within a timely manner to address the issues with my Land Rover Discovery Sport, and they were able to provide me with a courtesy car so I could continue to commute to work while they fixed my car. To which they did fix the problem, and I’m very satisfied with their service.

My service advisor at JLR San Francisco- Rey, gets the job done, updates thru the process and aims for quick completion of any service task. Have been to other JLR dealers who have shown poor communication and follow up of tasks needed to be completed on my vehicle. This place is the most unbelievably overpriced service department Ive ever seen, when I got quoted a price for some minor repairs that came out to 3000 dollars!! If you insist on taking your rover to the dealership take it to a different one, I got a price quote from a land rover dealership in southern California that was 800 dollars for the same service! More than 2 grand just because they are in the city? Beyond ridiculous.

Though that one instance was disappointing, the team has done a great job in ensuring me it won’t happen again!(Former review)To be fair - anyone servicing a Land Rover or Range Rover should expect to pay for repairs just bc the cars are expensive. Makes sense. However I’ve been going here ever since I moved to San Francisco and have never had a proper diagnosis on my LR2 battery drain issues. Most recently (today) I called to see if after I got my battery (which was replaced earlier this summer and is in actually okay health) jumped if I could drop my car off to get it charged professionally. They said this would cost $275 due to labor and diagnostics even though it’s 1. A known issue about my car and 2. I told them I just needed it plugged in (essentially)I called a car repair shop around the corner and got the same service for free. I’m quite disappointed by how money hungry the service center is. At every turn, it seems like they just want to get out as much as they can possible no matter how loyal you are. If you can, find a better place for the smaller things and only go if you need a part replaced or there are more serious issues (and even then it’s a bit questionable)
I purchased a Range Rover in August, it is now January and I have yet to be able to get my car licensed and registered. I have emailed and called Wali at least once a week since the middle of October and have never received a response from him about the next steps to be able to register my car. It has expired California plates, I live in Wyoming. So I am paying for a car I cannot legally drive. I am beyond frustrated and very upset. I was told the GM and upper management were aware of my situation and still no one has reached out to me with any updates. I just just want an answer and to be able to get plates for my car.

Well! All i can say is im glad to be out of there. I went into this dealership and purchased my 2018 Range Rover Velar R Dynamic Monday March 22nd. I flew up from Los Angeles in hopes of finally being able to purchase the car of my dreams. I was introduced to a sales rep, of whoms name i cant remember, believed it started with a G. Well i had NEVER been treated with such blatant disrespect by a customer service/ sales rep before in my life. While we were discussing about the pricing of the vehicle and after he has gone to his manager a few times, we just couldnt come to a resolution. I wanted to continue our negotiations until he began to stand up and turn off his desk lap, started locking his desk draws and just walked out. I couldnt believe what i was witnessing. I immediately asked for his manager and from then we completed the sale that his sales rep failed to do. I left that “luxury car dealership” with the car of my dreams yet had the worst feeling or great, shame and embarrassment.

The previous owner literally thrashed this very high-end car and because I wasnt aware of the types of damage (internally) on the vehicle since Ive owned it, the dealership is refusing to work with me to fix any of the issues claiming they should have been brought up at point of sale. When Id brought the car to another Land Rover dealership to be fixed it was then they uncovered the issues that I never would have known at time of purchase. ZERO integrity here! Beware!

Talking with them; they seem efficient and professional. The same when you see them in person. Well dress; you know, the pretty people. Its when you actually are immersed in the process do you see that its all an illusion. The efficiency did not carry over into what counts at the end of the day.I made an appt. for a regular timed service.They told me it will take a hour or two; so I waited. It took 5.5 hours. I received no updates, no return call after I called three hours into the appt. I finally went in search of an advisor 3 different times. The excuses I got was, my mechanic is running late, another hour should do it, and it should be any time soon.I wonder if the service on my car got push back because it was under warranty; therefore no charge for the work. I really think they prioritize the cars that come in and service the paying customer first regardless if you made an appt. or not.

Literally the worst service I have ever received in my life. They bait and switch you. Never expect to get a loaner car unless you buy a Bentley or a vehicle over $250,000, otherwise you are trash. I just recently moved to Arizona. This dealership is amazing. Loaner cars, respect, they keep their word. Its really what you should expect from a dealership. Barry, the service manager promised me my car before I moved. He lied and never got it to me. Then he contracted a guy at my referral, and then screwed him over the day of transport, because they found a cheaper option to transport my car. They literally screwed over a small business transport company the day of pick up. The driver called me so upset because he just lost a job and had his whole family prepared for him to be on the road for 4 days. I can honestly say, if you want THE WORST experience ever, buy a car here.

They were very helpful and courteous, However I was very very dissatisfied with the Finance Person as he misrepresented the figures and he did not go through the lease contract with me and just asked me to sign.I had to come back and talked to the general manager that was very courteous and understanding. Money person - same deal - makes the deal in writing then rescinds. Both claimed that they were pushed by the BOSS .Maybe and if so Im sorry but this is no way to run a business. Clearly a lack of leadership and a commitment to the customer............. Thank God I dont have to get service there. Sounds like its even worse than the shop floor.......... They suck..... There has been a change in management and an increase in prices and steep decline in service. Loaners are not available, service seems to take over a week during covid time. Communication also declined with me having to constantly follow up on missed commitments.

This review is only for Service .Great sales people and everyone there except for service people . Extremely disappointing. As usual ( I’ve purchased from them before ) they keep your car for a long time for no reason because work is not finished after a while . They won’t give you a Loaner anymore as they used to with the excuse of first come first served which it makes it doubtful because my appointment was at 8:30am. I thought by me waking up early and drive all the way from the East bay would make it possible, but not. They gave me a $20 a day rental which made it hard since I use my SUV for a reason but I took it because I was told my car would be ready next day . I ended up taking my car UNDONE after 5 days because I needed my car .This has happened before and the reason of me getting another car after two years of owning the one I got from them before was because I didn’t have to deal with service.Will not consider buying from them again o even recommend them anymore .

Service was professional but prices are an incredible rip-off. They charge clients $250/hr for labor and pay their mechanics $65/hr. If you dont care abut cost go ahead, but I checked with two other Land Rover dealers and British Motor Cars was 60-100% more expensive just for a basic service! I will never go back.
If you see an old African American male in his 50’s(middle aged) don’t give him your business. I was very close to calling my dad to come and buy the Range Rover I saw, but because I was hanging around too long not buying anything, he kicked me and my friends out just sitting in cars. He’s very hostile and I would rather give the commission to someone else. He also lied about the price of the Range Rover saying it was $200,000 and I know my cars, it wasn’t even an autobiography. Don’t get me wrong, Range Rovers are my favorite cars. Just try and avoid that guy. Coming from another African American.
This agency has the most professional team, respectful and courteous service, and insightful analysis of car problems and their solution. Been bringing all my Land Rovers to them since 2010, and have been pleasantly surprised with each visit. Their staff is the secret sauce, and Ill continue to purchase and service future cars from this dealership.
