I returned my 2018 leased Toyota Mirai and picked up the 2021 Mirai from SF Toyota. It was one of the best car buying experience in last 25 years. In this period we must have been through 9 or 10 such transactions including Tesla. I worked with Gee Gomez. He was wonderful !! From the day one he was actively engaged with us and made sure everything was taken care off on time and as promised. If you are looking for a new Toyota, I will highly recommend you talk to Gee.
Wow... we were so impressed. From start to finish, the service and experience from Tom Philavong was exceptional. We will be returning again for future purchases. We traveled to purchase the vehicle we purchased and were impressed with the price and quality -- they even filled up the tank for us! Cannot say enough good things. Highly recommend.

I was very pleased with the service from San Francisco Toyota. Anthony Hom, the salesperson that assisted me, was knowledgeable, patient, and trustworthy. In addition, a San Francisco Toyota team meeting took place when I arrived early in the morning to view the vehicle I was interested in. I casually observed how the managers spoke to the sales and service employees, and I was truly impressed by the positive attitudes and how cohesive the team seemed. Based on my observations and buying experience, I will definitely buy another Toyota from the San Francisco Geary dealership.

My wife and I got a quote from a different dealership on a 2021 4Runner, they wanted almost 10k over MSRP, called this Toyota and spoke to an awesome guy named Leo. He informed me that on this particular model they dont increase MSRP, that just because its difficult to get these rigs that they dont make the customer pay any extra for it. We are forever grateful to Leo. He ended up saving us so much money. Ive already been recommending him to basically anyone and everyone that wants the best deal! Literally everyone who wants a Toyota 4Runner is having a hard time finding them so most dealerships take advantage of them, Not this Toyota Dealer! Go see Sean first, he will get you a killer deal!
I knew what I wanted. Imprinted that thought to salesman. Was in and out in two hours with financing from Toyota. The showplace and the staff reminded me of the days hitting the bars. How? The bantering among the staff included I dont remember doing that last night; oh you did alot more but I blacked out too -salesmen on their previous night out in the bars.

I came in looking for a 2021 4 runner night shade edition. The 4runner I wanted was still on the cargo ship at the port. I waited 2 weeks for this vehicle. My Product Specialist Ryan Dong Kept me updated everyday as I anxiously waited for my vehicle to land at the dealership. His communication was top notch! Talk about Customer service! Also, Jack helped me out in the delivery process and he made sure everything was flawless before releasing the vehicle to me. I cant recommend Ryan and Jack enough. Very nice staff that let two teenagers take a look around at all the cars. They had a very nice Lexus LFA and a few other exotics such as an older 911 and the owners Supra. The staff was willing to talk to us even though it was obvious that we had intentions of making any transactions. The LFA was in the showroom and had a bit of dust on it but was not hidden away, which was very well done by then.
I contact SF Toyota to get more detail on 2021 Prius Prime XLE. Arseniy contacted me back almost immediate. Unfortunately, the XLE is not available. But we went over incentives, tax, and other fees via text. He is very transparent and polite. I would come back to SF Toyota for future business.
Went for a deep cleaning today and spoke to Dora who was so helpful in explaining the details of what a completely deep cleaning is. The workers did a phenomenal job cleaning my car. I saw my car and didn’t even recognize it. Thank you so much, hands down best Toyota dealership ever!😊
Recently turned in a lease and got a new lease here. The deal wasnt too bad and the car itself has been great.Why 1 star? The VERY next day I had someone try to open a Best Buy credit card with ALL of my information in Phoenix Arizona and then a second credit application today. Thankfully its something I watch and have notifications for.This was the first place that had pulled my credit in over 3 years, its either an extraordinary coincidence or theyve got something wrong with those tablets you enter your info into, you can do the math. I would STEER CLEAR of the tablets. Have them put your info into a computer behind a desk if needed.Spent the entire day freezing my credit and reporting accounts as identity theft. Check your credit scores and inquiries if you leased here recently!!I called them to notify them and all I received was a canned response about how secure they are 🙄

San Francisco Toyota sold me a 2008 Subaru STI for $17,199.00. The engine exploded within 30 minutes. I attempted to come to a fair agreement to resolve the situation, because I really loved that car, but I found managment to be incredibly rude, and not understanding of the fair rules that govern car sales. They threatened me with a lawsuit, after THEY breached their contract. Whatever you do, dont buy their World Rally Blue 2008 Subaru STI after they negligently repair it and attempt to resell it, and DO NOT buy any used car As-is from this dealership. If they attempt to sell you a car As-is, or refuse to repair a car they sold you As-is, know that you are still protected by rule 455.2 of the Federal Trade Commission. Buyer Beware! DO NOT BE TRICKED BY THE PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE OF THIS BUSINESS!
This is a great dealership! The whole process was very transparent. I went to several Toyota dealerships in the area, and so I can confidently say that SF Toyota offered me the best deal on a new RAV4 Hybrid. Larry is a great salesman! If I could give 10 stars, I would!The service was just amazing from the beginning to the end. Michael and Chris were both SOO helpful, friendly and fast!I called in advance to ask if it’s fine that I come and look at the car that I wanted and chat about the financials. When I got there 30mins later, Michael already pulled out the car from another location, so I could test drive it. After a quick test drive, we talked about the sale. Once that was done, Chris the accounting manager picked us up to finalize the paperwork. While we did the paperwork, Michael made sure the car is perfectly clean and the fuel is full. The whole process took us about 1.5hrs which is awesome. Everybody had a smile in their face & there was no pressure at all. THANK YOU!!

Called this place twice to see if I could get an appointment to have my Prius looked at after a minor fender bender. First guy told me someone would call me back, second time I left a message. Its been 5 days since my first call and 3 days since I left a message, with no response. Thought about trying a third time, but my time is more valuable than that. Ill take my money where it is appreciated. (Also side note, I take my car to the Toyota in Redwood City, as its close to my office, and that one is phenomenal. Wont be trying this SF location again.)

Parts department rep at our visit today was awful. He obviously hates his job. He obviously is not a parts expert because he gave us the wrong parts and we had to drive all the way back in traffic to get the right part. No apology. No discount for wasting our gas. Not even a thank you for your business. If you don’t like your job, get a new one. No excuse for someone to treat anyone this way. And if the manager wants to know his name, I’m happy to give it.UPDATE!!! Frank the service manager called me, we chatted about our experience.He was super kind and thankful for our business and understanding of our experience. He made it right by just listening. We purchased our new 2021 4runner trd pro from Larry. His professionalism was top notch! He was straight forward when it came to questions and answered all of them. He was very patient with us on making our decision and made sure we where happy at the end of our process. He didnt try to up sale us with any upgradesOur trd pro had a mark up on it but way less then any other dealership (9-15k at other dealerships).

Wish I purchased a car elsewhere. Customer service and follow up from this location is extremely poor. Example: Emailed and called multiple times to to a business manager who didnt respond until I included other team members and said it had been over 7 days with no response. Then the said theyd fix what I was calling about the following tuesday (vs then). Still many days later. 14 days since my first email and no action.
I purchase a certified used 4Runner from SF Toyota in June 2020. I had it serviced shortly after the purchase and realized that the car was sold to me with a known recall still outstanding on the car - faulty airbags. Also the seats were broken and wouldn’t fold down. The SF Toyota service center did nothing to fix the seats and informed me the brakes were in good condition. Apparently everything should function perfectly when you buy a certified vehicle. After taking it to be serviced again at a different Toyota service center, I discovered I had to replace the brakes. Be careful, very dodgy business practices. I won’t ever shop here again or get my car serviced at SF Toyota.
Bought a vehicle from 3000 miles away totally sight unseen. At every turn their sales team, specifically Alex Kwong, exceeded my expectations and I have very high standards. The car was delivered exactly as promised, in better condition than promised, on a very timely basis and the communication was benchmark for any industry. I have never walked in the store but when I visit the Bay I am going to make sure that I do to say thank you for the amazing job they did!

I purchased a new 4Runner in Nov 2019... as part of this purchase, I traded in an older PT Cruiser w/ out-of-state plates still attached. Unfortunately, it never occurred to the staff that they need to remove out of state plates prior to reselling the vehicle. Considering that this is a high volume dealership, its an unacceptable oversight.Sure enough, the buying party kept our plates attached to the vehicle, and proceeded to rack up exorbitant amounts of tickets driving around the bay area; running red lights, driving through fastrak, etc...When this issue was brought to SF Toyotas attention, excuses were given almost immediately;this actually isnt something thats required for in-state vehicles, so we dont typically take plates offwe cant actually do anything about this; YOU need to call FastrakAfter attempting to address the issue on our own, numerous phone calls with the store manager, and absolutely NO action or initiative being taken, on SF Toyotas part, we get a COLLECTIONS NOTICE. Yup, we get a nice, beautiful collections account on our credit as a result of trading in our old vehicle for $500. What a deal!!!We are nothing but happy with our vehicle, but its a new vehicle, and its a Toyota, so of course. The lack of taking any sort of responsibility or initiative on managements part is beyond disappointing. The future losses incurred as a direct result of this sloppy mismanagement may end up costing us far more $$$ than the actual value of our 4Runner (upped interest rates on a mortgage, etc..)If I could give zero stars I would. We would never buy a vehicle from here again. NEVER.

We drove over an hour to discover that there was undisclosed damage on the car. Its one thing if we were told... However we were expecting a perfect car as shown in the photographs and described on the phone. Leo seemed nice however became snarky when questioned about the damage. We even offered to purchase the car for one thousand less than listed knowing that even that wouldnt cover the fixes, but the sales team refused to work with us. I would not reccomend this dealership for purchasing used automobiles. The car we looked at was a white volvo v60.
I had a great experience at this dealership! It started over acquiring online and Chris promptly reached out to me and gave me more information about what I wanted. He made sure that I will get the help needed when I go to this place. When I arrived they were busy, but Chris and Edwin made sure I will get helped and they had David help me. The process was smooth and with no pressure experience. They worked with me in choosing the right vehicle and I love what I chose. We emailed them regarding a test drive and were informed that they are not taking on-location visits.Instead they set up a test drive date and time, explaining they would bring the vehicle to our location between 1200 and 1300. They never showed up, called, or responded to our subsequent emails.Extremely unprofessional.
Im really disappointed with my experience. Apparently, Yesenia who scheduled me for a test drive wasnt actually there and her associate who she advised to contact if I couldnt get ahold of her wasnt there either. Neither answered their phones as I called.Jack was sweet and helpful.However, I was strung along and told one thing then apologized to and told another.I wasted a lot of time here and the whole experience was a huge turn-off. All I got out of the experience was 5 new hard inquiries on my credit report, an insurance policy for a car I dont have, and a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to car salesmen and their finance departments.
Our family recently purchased a new 2017 Sienna from SF Toyota. Overall experience was fantastic. We were greeted by Anthony, who was friendly, knowledgeable and service oriented. He listened to what we looked for and didnt want to waste our time. We were satisfied with the incredible deal Anthony and his manager offered. No sales pressure, no pushing. Everything was easy and speedy, included finance department, where usually takes more time on those paperwork. Wonderful experience, highly recommend this dealership!

In the time of Covid-19.I started by shopping on line. I sent in an inquiry and received an email that same evening. Sabrina reached out and we decided on a time and date for a test drive. I was told to meet Sammy for the test drive. Sammy walked me thru everything I needed. I then worked with Michael La the sales manager. We worked out all the final details via email. I had to leave to deal w family emergency and Michael was wonderful about helping via email. Everyone I was in contact with was super professional, helpful and friendly. The showroom/ offices were sparkling clean with plenty of sanitizer around. I highly recommend working with this team!!
They added a package that I didnt ask for and didnt disclose it. I found out when I was about to sign the documents, because the screen displayed the difference between the the rate without and with the package.The financial department didnt want to address the issue. I had to ask to talk with the manger. Incredibly, the manager tried to convince me that I needed that add on. Unbelievable.I definitely do not recommend this place.

My experience with San Francisco Toyota has been disappointing from the very beginning. The first car they tried to sell me has several visible scratches. The manager and my salesperson seem surprised or unaware of the scratches when I told them I would not buy a car with scratches.When I took ownership of my Camry the fabric on seat cushions in the front seats were not smooth to the seat - they had an irregular rise or lift off the cushion. The service department wrote the service ticket the seats were deformed. The service department told me they would have replacements parts in 10 days. It took them 30 days to get the replacements. The front passenger seat replacement look as it expected - uniform and flat. The front driver seat replace has a similar deformity as the original seat.Now San Francisco Toyota parts and services says the seat is not deformed. They are claiming the rise in the fabric is normal and they will not replace the deformed seat.The parts department continues to show a lack of customer satisfaction and concern for the owner experience.I am disappointed by Toyotas unwillingness to standby the quality of the car they sold, take care of their product, and provide customer service.

Fast and friendly helpful staff. Just reserve ahead of time and youll have no problem. My oil change, rotation of tires and 50 point safety check took less than an hour and a half. And just time to have an early lunch.
Customer service was rude and not helpful. I waited a while to be treated like I was cheap and didnt have money to buy a car. Pft. Much better off to take your money on quick trip over the bridge and find a dealership that actually cares about you and your money. Plus Cars in the showroom are super overpriced and a quick look on any used care site really shows their crazy pricing on a used unique ride. Looks like business is good in the taking advantage dept but then again should have expected that from the other reviews.

Last Update:After more months of waiting we called again because we still had no paperwork and it wasnt transfered. They looked into it again and finally we have received our plates and registration. Still waiting for our title paper. This whole transaction has taken the batter part of a year. Someone really let the ball go on this one, it was a very frustrating experience.Update: We still havent gotten our plates after months. We paid over $30k for our truck. Come to find out at the dmv that they havent transferred title and they said its in someone elses name with a lien. This is fraud! We called and were transfered to a voicemail now they are screening their calls! Weve been driving this truck for months illegally.Bought an F150 here, a newer truck but it was missing the manual, extra key and they didnt have the door code. These guys stepped up and took care of it. Jack is a really nice salesman and you doesnt make you feel like your being over sold on the deal. He drove the truck all the way to Vacaville and took am uber home.
Customer service and satisfaction are their no. 1 priority and this is evident throughout the car-buying process. Shane, Russ, and numerous others whose names escape me were very attentive and knowledgeable. Shane, my salesman, was truly a gentleman. I constantly pestered him with phone calls and he was always pleasant and helpful. Ask for him when youre ready to invest in a fuel cell vehicle like I did. I just wish they would expand their parking space!

Theyll sell you a replacement key for $10, but it wont start your car. A little wrinkle they didnt bother telling me. I found out after missing a day and a half of work, towing it and waiting around all weekend for a call. 4 days later they drop the bomb - if you want a key that actually works, well that costs $600. Haha! Sukka!!
Bad EXPERIENCE . It felt like Jay really dont want to sell. We came in asked to see the Camry. Everything was super slow. It took forever to test drive and to get an offer. After three hours we had to leave. After comparing with other dealerships in the bay area I learned that they gave us very expensive deal. We ended up leasing with Sal at Oakland dealership and had amazing experience.
I tried to get a quote on Prius by calling the dealership late Sunday afternoon. I couldnt reach anybody but a sales reps voice-mail box. Tried the Live Chat on dealerships website. I expressed my preference of talking on the phone instead of chatting online. I did receive a call from a representative (Ryan or Bryan?) 2 hours later, but it was not a good time (7 pm) for me to discuss. I asked him to call back at 11 am the next day. He never made that call, so I called again around 11:20. Oddly enough, the floor agent Ryan picked up the call but denied that he ever returned my call Sunday evening. Anyways, I let him know that I prefer to speak with someone who can speak Mandarin. He told me hell have someone speaking Mandarin to give me a call back later. 7 hours passed and NOBODY from this dealership cares to return a call. Im terribly disappointed with the way they handle inquiry calls.
I just bought a car from Frank and I couldnt be happier. I really shopped around and they were able to match the lowest price I had found. However, the other dealer with the same price had less than stellar reviews and my experience with that dealer led me to believe the reviews might have something behind it. So I decided, based on these reviews, to go with San Francisco Toyota, despite it being in the city and farther away from my home.I was very glad due to the great customer service and professionalism I experienced.First off, I called Frank before I had checked the closing hours. Unfortunately, and unintentionally, I called him after the dealer had already officially closed. In fact, Frank was already home from work. Despite my objections that I didnt want to bother him on his time off, he brokered the deal to get me the price I was asking and then drove in back to work to complete the sale with me.Despite the dealership being hours past their posted closing hours the entire staff treated us with respect and didnt make us feel rushed at all.The sales manager, Alan, was also fantastic to work with. Both he and Frank never made us feel pressured or awkward like you might expect when you go to buy a car. From what I saw, Alan sets a level of professionalism which ends up being reflected in how his sales people operate.After we bought the card, Frank insisted he take the car to be washed (despite it now being close to 3 hours past their closing time) and spent time explaining all the details of the car while standing in the cold SF wind at night without a jacket.The next time I buy a car, I will definitely still do my research and shop around (as one always should) but, without a doubt, I will have a big preference to buy from Frank, Alan and the rest of the crew at San Francisco Toyota.
I have had 2 wonderful experiences working with this dealer. You get the sneaking suspicion that they are a good natured and fair group! You get service with a smile and you can tell that smile is genuine whether I accidentally called service when I wanted sales they listened to me for 3 minutes before politely telling me I called service and was quickly rerouted. Its just nice to deal with people that are nice and they have always been fair and bent over backwards for me. Like just now. I am going to purchase the vehicle I leased. I was in yesterday got the credit check done and checked on my options for financing. I came down with a cold last night. I knew what financing option I wanted and spoke with Gil (manager extraordinaire) who told me, hey you arent feeling well, Ill call you when everything is printed and you can come review docs and sign and get back home to bed. If and when I venture outside of the ridiculously reliable Toyotas I have had for years...Ill still stop SF Toyota on Geary and see what they can do for me. Chances are Ill be pleasantly surprised. The staff at San Francisco Toyota is the most accommodating group of people I have met among all the previous dealerships Ive been to. They reach out to you and make you feel like family, rather than a regular customer. We had the pleasure of working with Tani as our salesperson and he was so patient and understanding. This was my first new car buying experience, and he helped break everything down for me to make it as convenient as possible. Russell was incredibly friendly and helpful. He gave us the best experience at any dealership weve ever had. I highly recommend him. The finance person, Jason, was also nice and helpful. We came in there about 45 minutes before they closed and didnt make us feel rushed even though it was the end of their shift. We drove from Sonoma County to this dealership and it is worth the drive. Had a very good experience buying a new car at this dealership and appreciated all of the help from Jacky Ma. Came here from San Jose after reading reviews of other dealerships and having a terrible experience at a South Bay dealership with a very rude and pushy salesman. Everyone I interacted with at this dealership was polite, friendly, helpful, and respectful; I never felt bullied or pressured. SF Toyota also worked with me a much to get a better price compared to my local pushy dealership by $1,200. Definitely worth the drive from San Jose for a good experience with good customer service at fair rates.

I had a service appointment at SF Toyota on Geary Blvd. and everything went off very well. The service advisor Eric handled everything in a exceptional way. He was very professional and courteous in explaining in detail what was to be done and if there was anything else that came up, he would call me for authorization. The pick-up time for my service was very timely. Also, he explained my other options of extended care and pricing for that in my future service visits.
The entire sales staff were attentive, respectful, and helpful. Email responses to my inquiries were always prompt. I had no trouble getting to see all the models I was interested in. When I was ready to buy, even though the car I wanted had just been sold, they came up with another one right away. A special feature I wanted added on was taken care of immediately at the service shop, and I drove the car home the same day.
Easiest, most effective, and bullshit free place to get a car. Christian Ramirez and his team showed absolutely professionalism when assisting me to purchase my vehicle. No sales techniques, no sleaziness, no trying to make more money off of you. 0 hassle, quick, fast, amazing service. If you looking for an oiled up weasel to scam your pants off, this is not for you. However if you are looking to walk in and walk out with a brand new 2015 Camry in less than 24 hours like me, SF Toyota is where you should go.

(updated) Friendly professional courteous; but they may miss opportunities to do better. Case in point, I asked for a certain kind of screen for the hatchback, and they gave me the screen, but turns out I need more parts to use it. So its useless. Also the sales reps can be unreliable. Wanted to give a 5-star review but cannot.
Best dealership experience ever!Sunny (sales) and Daryl (service) both went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. I have severe allergies and sensitivity to fragrance. I am Electro hyper sensitive and have trouble being around WiFi and in buildings. They detail cleaned the vehicle and used ozone several times to eliminate an odor in part of the car and worked around my disability with compassion and care. I was blown away by how nice, flexible, and generous they were. I highly recommend this dealership for stellar customer care. Five stars all the way!

Standard service, friendly workers and reps. Try to book an early appointment if you want to avoid the wait that can sometimes pile up here- sometimes you can wait for half an hour before your car enters the service area after dropping it off. While parts charges may be fine, the labor cost here is expensive, so definitely shop around at multiple Toyota service locations or your local repair shop if you can. They have free wifi (password on the wall of the waiting area), a nice waiting lounge, and free coffee/tea/hot cocoa to help with your wait.
Helped our son buy his first car (a certified 2015 Prius with only 5900 miles) here, after trying out another Toyota dealership. Here, Keenan was very helpful, knowledgeable, and totally no-pressure. And Russ was the best finance manager weve ever encountered - super honest and candid about what we really would and would not need. I can see why this place has such good ratings
