So many of the reviews already talk about the ring experience being great, and I 100% agree with everything having done my engagement ring at La Bijouterie. I also want to commend Set for his after care services. He absolutely stands by the quality of his rings and its incredibly hassle free to get something fixed because he uses a local workshop. Not to mention FAST and at no additional cost! Care for a product through its entire life is hard to find in companies nowadays, even luxury retailers.I noticed a prong was slightly loose from me catching it on a jacket, barely noticeable to the bare eye, and asked if he could repair it for me for peace of mind. It was the smallest issue and I worried about being too nitpicky, but Set was SO understanding and said No big deal, people get prongs checked all the time! I am incredibly meticulous and examine things VERY CLOSELY because I love my ring so much, and Im glad I found a jeweler accepting and understanding of my needs. No issue is too small for a craftsman that cares about his product like Set.

This review is 7 years overdue! My hubby and I found Set at his old location on Union Street after having a bad experience at another jeweler. He immediately set us at ease and had our trust (even with our recent bad experience, his genuine nature and honesty won us over after our first meeting!)I recently had my rings remade after having a couple kids and wanting something a little less delicate since I’m tough on my rings. I also had some of my grandmothers diamonds made into rings for my right hand and the setting he came up with was like nothing I’ve seen before!I have a jeweler for life and have referred many of my friends.

Set was great! We met him at the beginning of the process and he was super friendly and not pushy at all. I loved that he was cognizant of her likes and my budget range and then brought out ten examples of what would work for us and she got to pick her favorite. Great, smooth process. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend set to anyone looking for the traditional, personal custom ring design experience. I had a great experience working with Set on designing a custom engagement ring. He patiently guided me through every step of the process, and made it not only entertaining but educational. Together we went through the classifications of diamonds and practiced on the real things; following discussions around my budget and desired cut, he picked out an appropriate tasting flight from which I then selected my favorite one. I also came in with very specific guidelines on the setting, and over the course of several appointments and 3D digital renderings we zeroed in on the perfect custom ring.

After I had started the process (with two other jewelers) of researching diamonds for my ring, my friend in SF told me about Set and La Bijouterie. I liked the format of making an appointment so I went in and Steph and Set spent a long time with me showing me bands and rings. I was all over the place and they were very patient and I tried on so many and took photos. Next visit, I decided to use my own band and get the diamond and setting from them. Set helped me find a gorgeous diamond. I wanted it set low, and explained how I wanted the platinum to be level with the baguettes and he got all the details 100% right. I am SO happy with my ring. Then for Christmas my husband went back to Set to design some amazing earrings for me. I will definitely go to La Bijouterie for all future jewelry and highly 100% recommend them!

I designed my fiancees engagement ring here with her help (definitely recommend ring shopping with your lady guys, figure out what she likes). And for an experience Ill only need to do once in my life I cant imagine it going any better.Obviously, I dont know much about diamonds so the entire 1st appointment and a good part of the second, Set just talked with the two of us and figured out what we liked/explained all the different parts of the grading scales for diamond. Then after we discussed our budget and got an idea of what the band would look like to get the price for that, Set pulled out his diamond container and showed us 10+ stones that were all around our budget, explaining why each was graded in the way that it was, showing us the different spots and marks that can bring the scores down. We got to choose EXACTLY the stone we wanted out of so many options without ever feeling pressured to just choose one of these, youve already seen 5. After we chose the stone, Set took our notes on what we wanted the band to look like and created a design around the stone, rather than just plopping the rock into a template and going with it; we even got to make sure the diamond was positioned in a way that the one major inclusion on it is hidden by one of the prongs.Its been 4 months since I proposed and my fiancee still cant help but stare at her gorgeous ring. We havent decided 100% but I think were both heavily leaning towards getting our wedding bands done here too!

I had a wonderful experience ordering a custom engagement and wedding ring from set and his shop. I went in person during Covid and felt very safe with masks being properly worn and a really good, genuine welcome. Nothing felt salesy and they didnt try to upsell me. Set understood the budget and what I wanted and helped make beautiful rings.

After reading all the wonderful reviews of this place, I had to come to La Bijouterie, 388 Market St ste 100 when we were ring hunting. My now-husband Kevin and I had a couple of more appointments lined up at other places, but cancelled them all immediately after our first visit with Sima & Rafi.

Set is a true expert jeweler. Before finding La Bijouterie, I had become very frustrated in the search for an engagement ring. I encountered countless jewelers who claimed they could make exactly what I wanted, but failed to show any results or became uninterested when they learned Id already purchased a diamond.I came to Set with a loose diamond and asked him to help me design a setting. He immediately grasped exactly what my then girlfriend was looking for and worked with me to fine-tune. A few days letter, he send me a computer-generated mock-up showing me exactly what the ring would look like. The ring was ready shortly thereafter and honestly looked even better than I had imagined it would. Needless to say, my fiancée was thrilled with the ring.Set is fair and honest in pricing, character and service delivery. Well be back when it comes time to purchase wedding bands!

I had an absolutely amazing experience with Set and La Bijouterie. I needed to create a new ring for my fiancé from a diamond from my grandmother. Set did a great job walking me through the process. He asked a ton of questions, and, when he realized I couldnt answer most of them, he suggested putting the diamond in a temporary setting for the proposal and then coming back with my fiancé to custom design something after she said yes. It worked perfectly, and she even ended up opting to keep a similar simple setting rather than going for anything complicated. Set effectively talked me out of wasting money on something my fiancé wouldnt have liked!We then went back to him for our wedding bands and it was a similarly easy, frustration-free process with a true expert who really cares about making his customers happy. Highly recommend!
