This was the best bridal shop experience I had while looking for a wedding dress. The girls in the store were SO attentive and made this such a fun day of trying on dresses. Their knowledge of lace, materials, the designers of each dress was unmatched. It was so fun to learn and have a great time trying on stunning gowns! I recommend this shop to every girl I know and cannot say enough good things about how nice they were and what a great day I had.

Let me just say, the dresses her are absolutely beautiful and the staff is lovely. But anyone over a street size 8 should look elsewhere for a dress. I am a street size 14 and there were 2 dresses in the entire store for me to try. I nearly got stuck in one of the dresses that the stylist brought for me and then when I was looking around at other things, she had me hold the dresses up to myself to “imagine” what they would look like. Please carry more diverse sizes!

I had such a positive experience with Devon at Lovely Bride. I am a larger bride (in between plus and not plus) and Devon was the most encouraging person. We tried on different dresses (styles, shapes, straps) and Devon suggested a style that I would typically never go with...and it ended up being my favorite! I will say that their selection is small, but it creates that boutique experience. I didnt end up going with Lovely in the end, but I will say my experience was definitely great. I felt more confident walking out than I did walking in to the store.

I had a great time at Lovely shopping for my wedding dress. Mhairi was so helpful, kind, and funny. She made the experience so fun! She listened to what I liked and pulled some great dresses. Also the shop is super cute and clean and I liked that. Thanks for my first wedding shopping experience!

Mother of the Bride Review: we had an appointment but the door was locked. The phone number to call (on the paper on the window) was incorrect. Dialed up the number on Google and a bit later an employee arrived to open the door and apologized for the oversight. No hospitality. No recognition that the brides family was in attendance - not even an introduction to who we were. Not a drastic problem but a lack of decorum was apparent. When the dresses were brought out - most of them were dingy and worn. I know that they are samples but dirty is unacceptable because even sample dresses can be dry cleaned. Nothing inspired me to encourage my girl to engage further with this company. We are moving on.

My experience at Lovely Bride was amazing! The store is adorable, the process was so smooth and enjoyable. Devon made the experience so fun and personal. She quickly caught on to my taste and helped me find just what I was looking for.

They were one of the few to post about size inclusiveness and having several boho styles - I fell in love with!When I arrived - all the dresses on my wishlist either werent available OR a size 4-6 sample. I totally understand that being a size 12 street size is really a size 18 bridal and its already so hard to find designers that will make your size. Dont advertise that you are size inclusive when there isnt more than 5 styles to try on that are bigger than a size 6! This should have been red flag number 1.When I did finally find a dress that I loved, which was already over my price range that I told them in the beginning of the apt. The consultant told me it would be ok because you would only need few alterations since the size fit off the sample -to expect only $300 in cost. So I said YES to the dress!After waiting until April for the dress to come in, I was so excited to come in and pick it up! We live an hour away from SF so its a fun drive to go pick up in the city. Unfortunately - you werent able to try on your purchased dress in the store because of COVID restrictions. Which makes no sense, how could I try on all the samples I want but the dress that is only mine I cant. This should have been warning flag number 2 but no I kept the faith and trusted the staff. They said call within 48 hours if there is any issues.I went straight to the alterations where they told me I would need a lot of alterations to adjust the length and straps, a total of $800 in alterations. I was in shock! I just trusted the staff that alterations would be lower but I was in sticker shock now with the dress being over my budget but also including alterations is now $1K over my budget!I called the store immediately after I left the alterations to say they ordered my dress wrong and they literally laughed on the phone saying that wasnt possible. I asked to talk to a manager, they said they will call me back in an hour. Fast forward to the next day, I finally get a call offering to provide an alterations credit of $300 OR they can resell my dress on Halo for less commission than normal.I took the offer to sell my unused dress on Halo April 2021. They said great, we will draft the contract up and have it to you next week. After 5 emails and weekly calls, I have finally received the contract. I did my part and signed everything within 10 mins of receipt. I have not yet to receive next steps, no reply to my acceptance email, and the dress is not on the site for sale!I will never refer this company to anyone unless you are smaller than a size 6 street size, have a budget of $3000+ for your wedding dress + alterations, and dont care about how they treat customer service.

I was here to help my sister find her dream dress and while it was a very cute, boutique space, the dresses were really dirty on the inside and at the bottom. The person we worked with wasn’t able to give as much attention to us as I expected, especially having just come from another bridal shop where they were much more involved.

Great layout, excellent service (thank you, Marga!), and an overall great wedding dress try-on experience. The experience was warm and welcoming, even with COVID-19 considerations being observed (masks on, limited guests, etc). Loved that I was able to pick some dresses ahead of time from the website, but was also able to look at some others and get suggestions from the expert staff. Highly recommend!

I had a great bridal appointment with Devon at Lovely Bride in SF. I had the whole salon to myself and found that their COVID policies were really thorough and made me feel safe (masks the whole time, sanitizing processes, etc.). Devon did a great job listening to my wants and needs and even let me have a say in the music during the appointment to put my mind at ease and focus on how I felt in each dress. I also came in solo and Devon did a great job helping me document my selections and take pictures so that I could share the experience with loved ones that werent able to be there in person. There was a lot of transparency around pricing and their website made it easy for me to know what would be available in store. I would definitely recommend Lovely Bride!

This was my first time trying on dresses. I was nervous but Devon (who was my stylist that time) was really helpful and friendly. There was an issue with booking but they were able to accommodate me that day even though it was there closing time. Devon showed me several dresses I thought I wouldnt like but ended up liking them. I hope to do another appointment sometime in the future for a final decision.

My consultant, Elizabeth, was super friendly and helpful! She made me feel like a friend, and not just a customer. She even was kind enough to give me more time to try on some additional dresses and never once pressured me on anything. We ended up finding my dream dress, which was totally opposite of the dress I actually made the appointment to try on! Thank you Elizabeth, youre really a gem!

This is a wonderful shop and the customer service is truly excellent. Lisandra who helped me was kind, gave honest opinions when asked, and was empathetic to my needs, and she really understands bridal styling for each body shape. They have a really good selection, with a number of larger samples too for curvy girls like me. The only slight negative is that many of the dresses had marks, stains and were showing considerable wear and tear. But overall a very good experience.

Really glad I was able to make an appointment 4 days beforehand. It was a great first experience trying on wedding dresses. I was greeted by a friendly staff when I walked in and soon after my stylist, Sasha, brought us to my change room. She explained how the appointment would go, allowed us sufficient time to pick dresses we liked and also gave suggestions. Sasha was friendly, professional and very helpful. Lighting in the store for pictures were great and the store is very cute. Great selection of modern dresses and would recommend!

I came here in November with my mom and younger sister, and the experience was...okay. We had an appointment later in the week, but we were told we could stop in earlier in the week to browse, which we did! We got there 10 minutes before another group was supposed to have an appointment, but we were informed that the party cancelled, so we could take their appointment instead if we wanted to, which we took them up on! Thats when things started to crumble a bit ... this was only my second dress appointment, so I was still in the early stages of wanting to try different styles on to figure out what I liked, and was really hoping for some direction from the store associate, but I didnt get anything. She had me point out a few dresses that I liked, which I did, would zip me into them and then let me walk out for my family to see, and that was it ... no additional suggestions based on dresses I had pulled, no asking what I thought of the dresses once they were on, no feedback or anything! It was super strange! I had also just come from another fitting around the corner, where my experience was AMAZING, so maybe it was just a big change that I wasnt expecting. For such an important decision, I was just expecting some more...hospitality and assistance! It takes a lot for me to give anything less than a 3-star review, but this just wasnt a great experience. (Id also like to note that I ended up going to Lovely Bride in Beverly Hills and had a MUCH better experience. The SF location is newer, so maybe they are still working out the kinks?) Overall, I wouldnt recommend until theyve been around a bit longer and have their process ironed out.

What could have been a nightmare situation turned into one of the best customer service experiences I have ever dealt with. With all the other stresses that go along with planning a wedding that is happening in a different state, I thought I was going to be a drama free easy bride when it came to dress shopping. Unfortunately due to some miscommunication on the final dress details, the dress arrived not how I had envisioned. With such care and understanding, Lovely Bride jumped right in to make me feel at ease and calm even though my wedding was in 4 weeks! With quick communication, and constant updates they were able to get my dress ordered and shipped in time to spare for alterations. AND they helped line up a tailor who could turn around my gown even with my really short time frame. I cannot recommend this location enough, I trusted them completely every step of the way. Cant wait to walk down the aisle in 24 days with the perfect dress!

I wasnt really looking forward to going dress shopping. I am a plus size bride, and its not always the easiest to find something fashionable that fits. Lovely was one of two places I went to try dresses on, and the one I went back to, to make a purchase. Darri. Is. A. Dream. She couldnt have made dress shopping for enjoyable. I arrived early, before Darri arrived, and everyone else that works there were so sweet. I bought my dress today, and couldnt have been happier with the staff and selection. If you are looking for a wedding dress plus size or not, go. There is something in everyones price range.

I worked with Jacilyn and could not have had a better experience! She was fun, knowledgable, creative and so easy to work with. This was my first appointment and I ended up cancelling my others because I couldnt imagine finding anything better.Jacilyn helped me figure out my style while looking through all of the dresses in the boutique. It felt overwhelming at first with all of the dress options and my mom, sister, and bridesmaid there to help and watch but Jacilyn made me feel so comfortable and ready.What made this experience stand out in the best way was how carefully Jacilyn listened to the feedback from my mom, sister, friend and myself while I tried on dresses. She asked thoughtful questions, offered creative ideas, and expertly guided the process so that it felt like the right dress came about naturally and easily!Apart from the awesome people who work there, the boutique has stunning dresses that feel modern, unique and timeless without being trendy. Its a special place and Im so happy I visited!
