Prices are good, easy to book online, but just because you book a time slot doesn’t mean they plan to work on it then, or soon to then. It just means they’ll get to it some time that day. I’ve had better experiences at other locations than this one.

Ask for Lawrence. His customer service was superb! He price matched the tires, offered me a lower price for the alignment and made the entire process easy. The only reason Im giving it four stars is because there was miscommunication when my car was done, but Lawrence cleared that up right away. Overall, great service and best price in the Bay Area.

They did a great job on my tires. But when I got my car back there was damage to my door panel and its hard to lock my door, and Im going through issues with their claim department and its irritating they have to go through this.

I took my car in after going to multiple other mechanics and they not only is the customer service excellent but the service on my car is even better. These guys are the best. They are nice and respectful to me which isn’t a given normally for me. I really appreciate these guys and I’m not going no where else cause my car came back just like NEW no lie.

Went here on Memorial Day to have a punctured tire fixed. I was in SF visiting from LA. Glad they were open as some places tire shops were closed. They fixed my tire within the hour. Staff were nice and efficient.

Excellent, excellent service from Lawrence to Abdellah. They get thru the line and move cars that can back up to the curb of busy Franklin St. Efficient and always have fixed every issue I have everytime I come in. Lawrence even told me that the other Wheel Works broke my tire pressure sensor and replaced it free of charge. They will either email or call you when your car is ready. No complaints. Recommend this location.

The service was good and a good selection of tires. The only thing they could improve on is their estimates. They leave off some charges that they tack on for everyone. They gave me a quote for just the cost of the tires what about in balancing alignment mounting

Wheel Works has always been a great local resource. They provide great service and always a fair price. Just ask them for an evaluation and they will let you know exactly what you need.

Friendly and accommodating. I noticed one morning after the weather got cold that my tire pressure had dropped by a big margin. I was near Wheel Works and pulled in. They were incredibly busy but they pulled the air pressure extension out into the street and filled my tires to the manufacturers spec right there and then.

This Wheel Works market has a huge variety of wheels and other brands! Lovely staffs they are knowledgable! Awesome!

Chu at the front desk is really great. Almost always if I can drop my car off for flat in the morning its done by lunch. If you live in the city, and drive here a lot, you get flats regularly. Ive had a string of bad luck with flats lately, and these guys help me out everytime.

Mechanic work was great! Customer service, however, didnt meet my expectations. Not all brands where presented on website, there was no full disclosure of prices and availability and marketing decisions ruled engineering necessity

I have called in advance and told they would service my vehicle upon arrival have been dismissed. Daly City location 5 stars

Took my vehicle there for a starter issue. They re-connected lead wiring and said the starter was fine. Few months later same thing happened. Took it back and they recommended replacing the starter which I did. Seems like they should have been able to diagnose this in the first place and not sure what I paid for in labor the first time. Total for two visits was $800+ and seems like they could have cut me a break on the battery test or labor the second time around. They quoted $75 for a headlight replacement which normally costs $20-25. Also every time I talk to them about prices they make it sound like youre getting a deal to make you feel better (this part normally costs $450 but I got you it for $375). They did get my car back to me quickly and are open on weekends which are bonuses.

I have been a customer for two years now and replaced two tires and bought an extended warranty. I have had issues with the tires since I bought them and went in two separate times to have them repaired. The problem continued and today I was told they weren’t going to repair them and that I needed four new tires.Complete con artist and thieves. I hope the owner fires the manager and teaches his staff how to treat people and run a business

2 and a half hours is long to wait for tires... They are really busy so its understandable I guess... 700 for 4 tires installed with insurance and alignment... Seems excessive but its actually not super bad I guess

Been a customer here for four years. The customer service today was horrible, the agent was straight up mean. Will have to find a new place for oil changes.

Called for a quote. Specific about what I wanted. Had another tire in stock and told me much better than what I was looking for. I asked Better, based on what? The answer was traction (wet & dry), wear, and everything.The warranty and wear ratings were longer on the recommended tire. The traction ratings and speed ratings, according to the manufacturers websites (yes, I looked them up while we were talking) were a grade above on both the tires I was looking for and asked about.So, do your research and verify.

Pothole damaged to a tire one evening and managed to schedule online and confirm availability of tire by morning. Best if appointment is made before visiting as the shop can get pretty busy. Repaired in an hour but spent some time waiting for the cashier due to crowd. Prices are reasonable and they also price match.

I got there really late with a flat because some citizen decided i needed to have my tire stabbed and ruined, which the gentleman at Wheel Works confirmed due to the location and precision of puncture. Not everyone has the tires for my car in stock at a good price but Wheel Works always does. Anyway, they were really busy and because it was late my car wouldnt be ready until later the next morning. That would have been really problematic for me and i guess he could see my disappointment and he said, Mr. Thompson, you have bought a lot of tires from us over the years, I will put it on myself and it will be ready by closing. I couldnt believe it! So awesome! He did not have to do that and believe me these guys are always busy so I wouldnt dream of asking if they could rush the job. I know the drill, if you want your car same day get there before 2pm., it was after 4. He did me a real solid.I have shopped their a very long time and as long as i own a car and live in San Francisco, i will continue to patronize Wheel Works. Great selection and price ranges with fantastic customer service.

Got a pretty gnarly screw stuck in my tire. Was able to save the tire and repair the damage within the hour. Great service from start to finish.

We were from out of town, and pulled in late Sunday afternoon (shop was closing). they still helped us wiuth a tire pressure issue and got us on the road shortly thereafter - great service and did not charge us......class act.

Ive had a great experience here twice with a flat tire and an oil change. The front desk is friendly and the prices were fair, especially the oil change! All car places are busy, dont waste your time waiting. Drop your car off and come back later in the day. I am a big do it yourself-er when it comes to cars, so I am surprised at how satisfied Ive been with these guys compared to other shops.

The last two times I’ve been there they damaged my car. The first time I had to have it towed out. This last time they damaged my battery that was only a year old. They have no clue what they are doing if you have a Porsche. They could care less about it. Don’t use them. Their staff is unqualified and under trained. I took it to the dealer immediately after wards both times and they verified the damage Wheel Works did. Wheel works took no responsibility

This place I wouldn’t recommend I was told one thing the night before and when I get there early in the morning they already have seven cars and no one in reception to help customers but one guy who is sitting there like he doesn’t want to be there.

We needed to replace our brakes when we arrived in SF and found this business. They agreed that the problem was indeed the brakes and fixed them promptly. We also got a good deal on tires after. They took a rather long time as they are often quite busy. Make sure you have an idea of what car problems you have before you go in.

This place was fast service. But no good customer service. I’m handicap and they made me move from a handicap parking space the guy didn’t care that I had a disability he just wanted nobody to park there. Trying to find parking around that place is difficult

Please book appointment ahead or plan to wait hours. 2 convenience stores nearby so lack of complimentary anything is not a huge inconvenience. Price is okay and service is good but upsell is heavy.

NEVER GO HERE!!! OR BUYER BEWARE OF BULLYING AT THE COUNTER TO MAKE YOU PAY FOR FREE SERVICES AND DENIAL OF POLICY DOCUMENTATION. They refused to show the paper that receipt clearly says cc shows details of free consult ~ only they refused to give me that page and demand I pay 30$ for spraying water on my tire and putting it on the rack. (they didnt have the replacement I needed I found out later). As I walked up to counter salesman picks up phone to call someone to offer an oil change instead of helping me. JeRk~ Deserves Pie in the face or a Good old fashion Knuckle Sandwich...I would like to serve up 2 ~ 1 for Blonde Tweeker as well as the Hawaiian Pusher both double teamed me and demanded I pay.....The manager tried to up sale me when I called back later to get the tire fixed since I was not feeling well that day I got kicked around. So I went to the Wheel Works location that has served me 20 years in Daly city that guy laughed when I told him all the things they tried to also tell me my front tires where desperate and real fact was they are only 50%. Made an appointment a day ahead for oil change and tire rotation. Brought the car in at 7:45 in the morning and returned same day for pick-up at 5:15. Car not ready as they didnt have a oil filter. No call to alert me that my car might not be ready. Waited an hour and finally car ready. No apology from either of the 3 men who handled the transaction. No $30 off coupon applied (I forgot to provide it and they did not offer). My wife and now my son, and I have taken every car we have owned to Wheel Works for over thirty years (that amounts to many thousands of dollars in tires alone). Guess Ill find a new place for future service.

I got a flat tire at 3 PM, called them without an appointment, and they had it patched and working by 5 PM for $30. The guys were nice and it was easy to get in and out.

It took 3 hours to remove the nail off my front driver side tier. Everyone was very friendly, except the 300lbs of a toxic & Rude person at the counter. He made me very uncomfortable.

Stay away from those crooks. I came there to repair a flat tire under the warranty that i bought from them at the time i bought tires. They said tire was not reparable because it had 2 nails in it and wanted me to buy a new tire from them. I left and went to another tire shop to get a second opinion. It turned out I only had 1 nail and tire was repaired at a cost of $20. On a previous visit they also suggested i buy a new battery from them because mine was supposedly failing. As of now Im still driving on that same battery without any issues whatsoever for over a year since their recommendation. I would recommend everyone to stay away from that shady place.

I went there, waited 3 hours to get my tire fixed, and they say the tire cant be fixed and I need to buy a new tire, which cost me 120$ for the cheapest one! Dont go to this place!!!

I have had our car worked on here several times over the years before becoming dis-enchanted with pushy sales approach. I am a mechanical engineer by trade, so not a compete rube as far as things mechanical are concerned. I went in to get my tires rotated and to ask about a noise I was hearing when turning right. Tech. at service desk said tires were worn out, declined to rotate and then asked for 20.00 to evaluate the noise issue. Tires wear bars do not show on any of the four tires, I bought them at Wheelworks and they are supposed to come with free rotation for the life of the tires...I have grown weary of WW constant attempts to pile on additional work other than service that is requested/required. Not sure about this business model. Will take my business elsewhere going forward

Found a tire for me in a pinch and changed it that day! Only complaint was they were a little pushy about up selling me more tires than I needed. The person that checked me out also said she would pull out my car so that I could take it away and then didnt know how to drive a manual! She stalled the car and made some awful car noises by trying to drive it out. I ended up just moving it myself so she didnt break anything.

The guys at the front can be a little slow to get to you but the mechanics outback are great and I trust them.

I got a flat tire unfixable and called a couple of different places which did not have my size and I called Firestone and they told me they could not sell me one tire just because my vehicle was all wheel drive which my other three tires were basically new I went in to wheel works and they took care of me in five minutes I was in and out just bought the tire and replaced it
