Came in to get a tire as a coworker pointed out thatmy back left tire was bubbled and cracked in one section. I ended up needing two tires. I believe the person who helped me is named Hong. He was super nice professional and explained everything clearly. They recommended an alignment which i told them i would have to do it another day as i was headed to work. Will be returning to this Big O soon!

The pricing was competitive, the staff were knowledgeable and went out of their way to help me with some tricky tires.

Was in and out very fast. Got a text notification when my car was done (faster than I thought!) And pick up was as smooth as it gets. Staff had everything totally under control. Good folks, good place. I dont go anywhere else.

I usually have no complaints. This time I was very disappointed with the casual disregard for my time! I took my car in for 2 tires and alignment.. and was told car will be ready that day.. waited 3 1/2 hours for my car.. and at closing I was told they didnt have time to do the alignment and was told to leave the car or comeback. I dont think so.

My experience with Big O Tires has always been positive. I’m provided with my options. I’ve never had to wait for a phone call with an update that never comes. And my final charges don’t contain any ‘surprises’.

I know people have their own opinions on auto shops, etc. Some good, some not so good. Ive used Big O Tires on Geary Blvd a number of times. Some for tires, some for misc repairs. Overall, I have had good experiences with this shop. The latest one, just a few days ago. Tony really did a stand up job not only keeping me in the loop, but also telling me the available options for the work needed. He didnt pressure me with any added BS, which I appreciate. All in all, a satisfied customer. No real complaints aside from the usual shop rate here in San Francisco. But thats part of living here in the Bay Area.

Job done well. Only complaint I️’d have is timing. If a text message with potentially hourly updates on status was done then I️ would’ve had a better experience just knowing how the work is coming along.

My tire pressure alert popped up, so I went to Big O on Geary. They checked out the tire and concluded it wasn’t repairable. But they got it replaced under warranty and changed out the tire quickly. Very pleased with my experience.

These guys are the best! The guys in the front of the shop & the back of the shop are awesome. I got a flat tire & had to get a tow to the shop toward the end of the day. They changed my tires on the fly when the shop was super busy, they also had the tire size I needed when other shops in the area didn’t. Tony & Hong were super helpful & funny! Would definitely recommend. Thanks guys!

Very helpful. Suddenly needed a new tire, not a common size. They had one I stock which was just what I needed to get me home.

Had a couple services done here. Turns out they didnt apply grease to the sides/back of the brake pads, nor did they install the brake hardware. Literally, basic stuff thats important for safety. So because of that, all my brakes were screeching. They also didnt put that they did the front brakes and rotors on the invoice (my fault for not checking when picking up the car but still.) So they screwed me on that warranty.Since I moved, I had to find all this out from another Big O Tire, when I went in to take the car in for inspection/warranty.

I called big O tires made He told me first come first serve so I got in there around 10 AM. There was no line they immediately took my car in, had it finished within three hours. Im very happy with their service

I made an appointment online and was able to pull right into the garage when I arrived. Everyone at the shop was extremely nice and took the time to explain to me pricing options, pros and cons of each of those options, as well as warranties. Living at Ocean Beach, my car has gotten pretty rusty, and the staff at the shop, in the office as well as in the garage, were able to give me some more insight on those current issues as well as issues I may need to address in the future. My experience overall was really great and I definitely plan to return in the future.

Excellent service, well beyond what would be expected. Not only did they change my tires but they also ordered and installed a new trunk gasket because my old one had torn. They ordered and replaced a missing mud flap and a damaged rear view mirror too. Amazing!!

I’ve been to this location a few different times and they’ve always been great. Everyone’s been really friendly and they never try to sell you on anything you don’t need. It’s nice to be able to go in and get your car serviced and be confident that it’s probably going to be a pretty straightforward and painless experience. Plus, everyone there was super friendly with my dog, which always means bonus points!

Very happy with service and time spent getting oil change at Big O Tires Laurel Hill location. Friendly staff with clear communication. We strolled over and shopped at Laurel Village and the car was ready when we returned ahead of estimate. We came here unscheduled after learning of (and abandoning) a 4 hour estimate at our original scheduled location.

When I had my oil changed last week using a Groupon coupon, they told me I should get new tires soon (they were pretty bald). I have a limited income, so I said it would have to wait. Well stimulus money came in so, I went to just get new front tires (I had done online comparisons and chose Big O) but they gave me a great deal on the rears and a discount on the alignment so I took it. Service was quick and people there are friendly and courteous.

I had gone to multiple car and tire shops and was quoted a lot of money or wasnt getting the problem with my tires solved. The service was quick and friendly here (plus informing me about basic tire knowledge) and my car is now fixed without breaking the bank!

I have been going to the Big O Tires, on Geary Boulevard, since 2013. They worked on my old car, that I gave to my grandson, and they are now tending to my newest car, named Princepessa! Will, the store manager, and his staff are the best in the business! Honest, fair, and very knowledgeable about tires, and everything mechanically, that a car needs. They go the distance, for all of their customers! Perfect example . . . While backing out of my narrow garage, I accidentally broke my passenger mirror. Frustrated and upset, I called and told them what had happened. They told me to bring it in. I took the pieces in, heartbroken 💔. They re-assembled what they could, and bonded it with crazy glue! That was last year! After many car washes, it is still holding just fine! This time I needed a set of tires. I wanted one thing, but Will told me what I needed. I love to drive, and drive fast, so I got a new set of Michelins, a longer warranty, alignment, balancing, and oil change! Driving has now, never been better! This group is the bomb! You wont be disappointed! 💯🥰🤩

I got a quote over the phone and my fiance brought the car in the next day. She had a piece of paper with the quote on it and the details. She handed it to the man and he ended up trying to charge $70 more than the quote. I had to call him to sort it out and he claimed he didnt see the number on the piece of paper. I guess he thought he could get away with such a stunt because he was dealing with a woman. Then they tried to charge me a crazy amount for an alignment. Then they wanted to replace my front brakes for another crazy amount of money. I called jiffy lube and in two minutes I got a quote that was over $100 less expensive for the exact same service. Big O didnt even bother matching Jiffy Lubes price, not that I wanted to give them any more business anyway. They also took 2.5 hours longer than they said they would. Dont go here.

Everyone there is so helpful, and really go above and beyond. Jasmine was especially helpful. “The truck guy” is great, I wish I caught his name. I feel like every time I go they are honest and helpful. I’m not the most educated person on trucks or vehicles and they take the time to explain to me what’s going on and what I need or will need to get done. This big o is so much more then just a place to get your tires done. You can get all the work you need there by professionals that care just as much about the people that come as they do your vehicle. Pricing is good, they opt for using the best of the best which I personally appreciate because my truck is old and I want it to last as long as possible. Thank you so much Big-O on geary!

A few weeks ago I had trouble pumping up my tire at the gas station, so I went across the street to ask if Big O would let me use their shop air. They have immediately helped me out, and were so nice that I came back later for my oil change and tire replacement. Their prices are very good, and they don’t upswell or waste time. Used to love this shop, must have been taken over by new owners unfortunately I will never ever be returning. Worst service ever. I called and asked when I could come in they said right now so I get there and they said it would be 2 hours for a tire change so I left and came back an hour and 45 minutes later and my car was moved to the street and untouched. Front desk lady was the rudest person Ive ever met. I waited 2 hours and 15 minutes and left with my purchased tire in my trunk and am getting it put on by another tire shop. Do better

I brought my car in to fix a slow leak in one of my tires in the morning before 10Am. Waited 3+hours and had to ask for status to find out a nail punctured my tire on shoulder side and not repairable. I ended up replacing two front tires to get all 4 tires matching to same size. When I got my car, all 4 tires air pressures were low according to the pressure sensing caps I used on my tires. All were showing red but the person who worked on job just ignore them... so long wait time and bad work quality on this visit.

I trust Big O to take care of my old girl, a 98 Ford Escort. All the staff there are wonderful. Have recommended to everyone.

They were excellent, polite, efficient and I could not ask for better service. I called for my wife to come in and they took her immediately. I have been a customer at this Big O sore for 30 years. I’ve taken my work trucks and all three of my personal vehicles there. I would not go anywhere else.

The service people are 5-star, and I got 18.5k miles out of my last set of tire from Big O—with a few flats fixed free. The only problem I have is the price of the hazard “insurance.” $18 per tire seemed steep.

I brought my car to Big O because I had a flat. It was so easy and everyone was so friendly. They got it done very quickly!

I am so happy to be located nearby Big O Tires. They do a consistently great job and I can trust them far more than my local dealership. They fixed something for $35 when my dealership said it would cost $600 to look into. They aren’t always the fastest service but I would rather have good service than quick service. Thanks for being consistent with what you all do.

I enjoyed working with Big O tires. I usually go the Mercedes dealership. But when I got a flat tire 1 block from my home, AAA filled my tire with air and followed me to Big O tires, 1 block away, to get it fixed. And Im glad I did. I could save so much money by working with them and I look forward to working with them in the future. They were expedient and courteous. My tire was fixed quickly and for a reasonable price.

Came here to get an oil change. Not my first nor will it be my last. Took around 85 mins in the morning so it wasn’t fast but they were thorough. They called to let me know the engine filter and battery needed to be replaced. They did not push me into getting the services. They told me what I should replace. I like that the shop does not push sales. I went to another place to confirm whether these guys said was or was not true. It was true.

I brought my car in yesterday, 11/25, to change out my rear driver side tire that had a large screw lodged in one of the treads. When I discovered it, I put duct tape over the screw to keep it in place and let me drive to an auto shop. I had visited another auto shop first who indicated they couldnt repair the tire due to weakening of the sidewall. I placed an order for new tires that would arrive on 11/27. However, I was planning to drive to LA for Thanksgiving and didnt want to do so with a weakened tire and decided to just replace the one tire. I explained this at Big O as the reason for wanting to only replace one tire as opposed to all 4 as is normally done. The service was done, then I departed for Los Angeles today.100 miles in to the journey, my check engine light comes back on. I was surprised because I had my car serviced on 11/24 at the dealer. I also had just replaced my first flat tire after 50k miles and figured it was unlikely to have another literally the next day. I stopped and saw that my front driver side tire was low on pressure. I began inspecting the treads and found the very same screw as before that had duct tape over it. The one individual tire I paid to be specifically replaced was simply put back on to my car and one of my good tires was disposed of. The duct tape held up long enough that I didnt realize any of this until many miles away.I realize this exact situation may not happen to many people, but nevertheless its frustrating and worrying as I question driving another 300 miles with a faulty tire and paying another shop to fix this.

I unfortunately got a flat tire on a Saturday afternoon and they were able to fit me in and get my tires taken care of that day! The lady at the desk was very helpful and called when the car was done.

Jasmine knew her tires and was helpful in choosing the right tires for me. She was flexible in whether we needed to do an alignment—she didn’t push and showed how misaligned things were. They finished on time—easy in and out.

New tires. Quick and easy. No pointless up sell attempts. Straight shooter. Would go back.

They took care of me quickly and got me out the door. I just had a flat and limped in for them to change it on my commute. They got me out the door with a line building up behind me.

They changed my oil and engine air filter. The price was right. They did it in good time. They checked other stuff without charging me. Get there early in the morning. The early bird doesnt have to wait as long. They are (rightfully) popular.

I dropped my car off at 8am and got a call back about my car an hour after dropping it off telling me it needed some other work. I agreed to the extra work being done then never got a call back to pick my car up. I called in at 5:30pm and the shop closes at 6pm. They said “we must have called the wrong number”, but they were able to call the right one hours before when I needed more work???!I showed up to get my car and the woman at the front had to call to the back 3 times for my car to be brought around leaving me to wait about 30min before they brought it literally across the street.The man who drove my car back to me did not put down any floor mats so now my front seat floor has greasy shoe marks all over the mats and I will be getting it cleaned. You dropped the ball. My money will now go to another business.

We brought our vehicle in for a flashing tire warning light. It was suggested we make an appointment for the next day and that it would take 2 hours to complete.We returned at 10:00 a.m. the next morning and the same person who helped us indicated the staffing was short. I overheard an employee speaking to a customer by phone indicating there was a four hour backup, they could drop off their car with a possibility of work being completed by end of day, but no promises.When we returned 2 hours later, we were told that the car had not yet been started. We were having a sensor replaced for the tire.At 12:40 we received a phone call indicating that the car was completed. When we arrived 10 minutes later the same person who was helping us indicated he needed to speak to a customer my phone which took another 15 minutes.He then made a loud speaker announcement asking that the car be brought around. After standing on the street for 10 minutes, we recgnized our car parked halfway down the street.When an attendant came out asking what car we were waiting for, we asked for our keys so we could get the car ourselves.We appreciate that the car was completed and at much less than what a dealer charges. We did not appreciate not being informed ahead of time that they were short staffed and that we would have to wait an extra hour or possibly to the end of the day to have our car completed. Very poor customer service!The reality is that they accomplished the task in about 30 minutes. They could have just done this and not caused any angst or grief. Again poor customer service!

Big O Tires came through once again.I have been using them for over 20 years.Great service as usual. Keep in mind they are busy, specifically right before the rain season. Wait times are unpredictable. In my case I drop off wheals and tires one day, and pick up the next day. With no time waisted.Thank you guys, I will see you soon, as I have two more vehicles coming up.

I visited BigO on 3/21. Everything was good except the time it took. I had an appt but it took 3 1/2 hours. I was told by an employee that an appt was really a drop off time. That is ok but why not call it a drop time. Staff was very friendly and nice. I have been to this location probably 15 times and will go back but will think an appt isnt really an appt. All I had done was an oil change and 2 tires.

All in one spot for quick services. I had one tire replaced, oil change, cabin filter and engine air filter all done in about 2 hrs for $200. No complaints

They were so kind, and helpful in telling me what I needed to get done, versus what could wait. I just agreed to have everything done, and they were able to accommodate everything the same day. Jasmine was wonderful!

The workers here were so incredibly kind to me even tho I was totally stressing out. Was really nice to have them accommodate me and try to get me out of here as soon as possible so I could make my doctors appointment. Will come back here anytime I have a tire issue

The worst service ever. I explain. I brought my car at 1 pm to change rare tires and fix alinement. They said it takes 4h. Came after 4h my car was still outside and no one even looked at it. The cars came after me got served before me, even tho they said first come first served. They changed tires when no cars left in garage. It took 30 minutes to fix it. I got my car at 6:30 pm. 5h30minutes wasted. Worst service ever. I never come this location ever again and will let know others how worst is it. Dissatisfied and got disrespected by this location. Worst service location. Other location are fine but this one in Geary street is worst. I don’t recommend and stuff is rude. Stuff has to be changed or you lose business

I go to the location On Geary Blvd because of the excellent treatment I receive when I bring my car in for routine maintenance. Jasmine in particular, has impeccable customer service skills and is great in communicating details about servicing my vehicle.

Drove car in for oil change, greeted attentively and fast. Found out they had a special on full synthetic. Had my car ready after just running one quick errand around the block. Will recommend to all my friends.

These guys got it done quickly but forgot to screw in one of the lugs and now i am down one. It made an excruciatingly loud scraping noise before it fell out. I was on the freeway so i could not stop the car.

Came here before, bought 2 tires and the experience was fine. This time I came in to patch a tire, asked the tattoo Asian guy how long and the pricing, $50.00 and a few hours. My response, let me call my wife to let her know and his assumption response, if you are not going to do it, PULL your car outside. Great customer service! Guess what? Wheel Works was so much nicer, friendlier and they understand customer service! Dont know how this business stay open with bad customer service. Why would anyone pay for lousy service and poor attitude? If these guys income were base on commission, I am sure their attitude would be a million percent better.

Best of the other Big o tires stores. They balance my tires unlike the one near me in Berkeley. I dislike that store. Theyre constantly trying to sale things that you dont need. I know, because I use to work on cars
