Owner was professional, knowledgeable, and helpful in answering my questions and providing the right size and type of bike for my riding needs. I simply texted the owner my address and when I wanted the bike in the morning and then again when I was done riding and he dropped off and picked up the bike within 20-30 minutes. The Bike Revolution charged me $100 to rent a bike for a day, did not have the bike I needed, and then refused to issue a refund. So I was paid for the rental and then didnt end up getting a bike.

The bikes worked really well and were in great shape. We were given helmets, lock and map. Drop off and pick up were on time and Patrick was super helpful. I would definitely rent again when we go back to San Diego.

Could not have had better service. Called them up- they had 6 bikes to us in 20 minutes. Called them when finished on the other side of town, and they were there in 10 mins to get the bikes. Everything in working order and well maintained. Great communication.

When the first bike was just a tad too big (Im quite short), it was a quick switch and a new bike was brought. The proprietor is a super genuine guy who just wants to share his passion for bicycling with others. If youre in town for a few days, I definitely recommend giving him a call!

Excellent place to rent a bike. I borrowed a Giant Defy Advanced for the day and set about exploring around San Diego. 120+ miles later, I rolled back down 6th to drop off the bike. The Guys in the shop were excellent, fitting my pedals and adjusting the bike to fit. It was well maintained and perfect for a day in the saddle. 100% recommended.

I was working in San Diego and on a whim decided to see about a MTB rental over the weekend. Im really glad I did as the process was quick and easy. The staff was great to deal with and they even recommended a few riding areas. I opted for Nobel Canyon and am extremely glad, I had a great time there, it was awesome.

This is likely the best place to rent a real bike in San Diego. They rent high end carbon road bikes. High end carbon mountain bikes and city cruisers and all types in between. Fast friendly service. I walked in. Rented a city cross bike for 4 hours ($20) and it literally was in and out in 10mins. Including helmet and lock. i rode it around to Coronado and came back via the ferry. Like 2hr ride. It was a pretty good rental. They also do in city pick up and drops offs as well. If you want a good bike or if your a serious rider this is the place to rent. It’s a great bike shop. Patrick is awesome. I was traveling from Dallas and my flight was delayed. He brought my bike rental to my hotel at 10:00 at night so I would have it early the next morning. He then met me at the hotel to pick it up the next day. The bike was in perfect condition. I ended up with a great 30 mile ride to La Jolla and back.

The guy told me it was a mobile service and he would come to me. Seemed sketchy at first but he rode up in a nice wrapped vehicle and did the repairs right outside my place and for a very reasonable price and fast service. He fixed a flat on my Xiaomi m365 scooter which are very difficult to fix so if he can fix those he can probably fix anything. Highly recommended!

We rented bikes from Bike Revolution for two days while in San Diego. The service and communication was stellar! Patrick gave us maps and some tips on where to go. We took his advice and rode to Point Loma and had lunch there. The ride along the harbor was beautiful!The second day, we rode to Balboa Park and went to the zoo and the Japanese Friendship Garden. It was a great way to see the city and the park. The bikes are well-maintained and easy to ride.Patrick delivered the bikes, helmets and locks to our hotel and picked them up when we were finished. I highly recommend this bicycle rental company if you are visiting San Diego. Their customer service was excellent, they delivered the bike for me free of charge and even had different options for me to try. The bike was lightweight and well maintained. If you are visiting from out of town, this is a much better option than going down to the beach/boardwalk and renting one of those heavy, clunky beach cruisers. Although the shop was closed, we called the number and Patrick picked up immediately, answered all our questions, and even gave us a great 24hour rental deal. He met us where we were to deliver the bikes - within 20 mins. He picked up the bikes the following day while we were having lunch. And he just had the best attitude!! For sure we will be renting from Patrick again...we already have his number saved!

Rented a bike for the day for $40. I managed to cycle to Old Point Loma Lighthouse and Ocean and Mission beaches. The bike had the necessary gears and good brakes. They provided lock, tools and cycle helmet. Unfortunately I did get a puncture. I would recommend this place if you intend to do some serious cycling.

Just make sure you call or go in, the website is not up to date with every bike available.Patrick, the owner, really cares a lot about his customers and business. The store has a feel similar to that of a local branch of a larger chain; as a marketer I noticed many small things that add up to give it a very professional feel. But in reality, this is the only store. Excellent business trip road rental experience! I travel for business often, and always try to rent a bike to explore the area and get in a workout. Patrick (the manager) was great, personally delivering the bike to my meeting location and fine tuning the fit, although it was already perfect with the measurements I had previously emailed. I was happy to see the computer mount and the seat pack/pump, both of which came in handy with my inevitable flat tire. Ironically Patrick had texted to check on me just as I got the flat, and offered to come pick me up or fix the flat, I refused as the city is so bike friendly! The routes on the website are excellent, I highly recommend the Bayshore Bikeway and Cabrillo National Monument rides. All around an excellent rental experience and a great value!

Rented a Giant TCR carbon road bike for a day. Staff was super awesome, helpful and friendly. Paid 75+20 in insurance which seems steep for a ~$2k bike.Maintenance wasn’t bad but could’ve been a little better.Overall great experience and I’d rent again.

Had a flat on Coronado, rode the ferry across to the city and Patrick was at the ferry terminal waiting for me to fix my tire. He was very knowledgeable of his trade and was a super cool dude. Got my tire fixed on the side of the street in under 15 minutes ! If you need some bike maintenance done give this guy a call !

I recently discovered a flat tire on my Trek bike front tire early one Sunday morning but could not remove the tire.I googled bike shops near me and saw a bike store listed on sixth ave near our condo. I called the number and was surprised to hear some one named Pattty answer. He came to our place in 30 minutes and showed me the anti-theft nut that Trek uses, then removed it and fixed my tire. Incredible service and very reasonableprice from an outstanding young man.

The rental prices are competitive for the area and the bikes are pretty solid.
