Probably the worst rental bikes I’ve ever seen. Rented 2 bikes for intending to use them the whole day and took them back after 45 mins. Rusty, creaking, not well maintained. The brakes barely worked and was very inconsistent. The guy at the front desk was very nice though.

I had no reservation and was lucky enough to still be able to rent bikes and skates for my family. Process was easy, friendly, and yes...cheap! Would recommend for rentals if in the area.

Very friendly, great rates, quick service. My wife and I and the two kids rented bikes. We were in and out in no time. Had a great, leisurely ride along the entire boardwalk. Returned the bikes without any hassle and the total was only $20! That was $20 better spent than what we paid for ice cream later!

First AppearancesThe shop was dirty, I mean filthy, floors were covered in sand and the back seemed like rentals were sorta just packed into the back room. I was welcomed by a friendly employee who seemed very laid back, which helped calm the energy from the room.ExperienceThe prices here are the lowest you will find in the Mission beach and PB area. The employee was able to size my girlfriend and I just on eye sight for wet suits. The process of renting was fast, and even faster on the return. For about three hours of fun the total came to about $36. I was going to rate this business very good, because it didnt seem very clean, but the employee offered to take our photo with our rented wet suits and surfboards. The customer service here seems to go just a little bit further then some places. This place is recommend.

Friendly staff hooked us up with bikes for the day. Reserved and paid beforehand so things were ready when we arrived. Biked the whole way around mission bay and up the boardwalk on pacific beach. One of the best days of our trip!

I absolutely love this place! I have been going to Cheap Rentals since I moved here in 2015. I have rented surfboards, bikes, paddleboards and roller blades. These folks go above and beyond from surfboard suggestions to coordinating group rentals. Whether you are moving from a new city or just visiting from out of town, this is the place to go. They are really nice with great prices! As a rider, I like to give the shop feedback on tuning up components if I notice anything off. The higher gears were having some trouble staying in gear, so I mentioned it in conversation when discussing our day of riding. Even though I wasnt complaining about my bike, they insisted on giving me my rental for free. Thats what you call good customer service! I would definitely recommend this shop to everyone and will go back when I am back in town. Thanks Cheap Rentals!

If you want to rent a bike, this is the best place to do so. Super affordable (we paid $35 for 2 bikes that we had for 24 hours), and great staff to deal with.

I just got back from renting a surf board there, they were awesome i was a bit late and they didnt charge me. and also they were like half the price of some of the other rental places. Highly Recommended.

We rented two wetsuits that were in nearly new condition. Service and prices were great.

I found the best deal here in the beach cities on a bike rental.For less than $50 I got one week on the most popular beach cruiser bike. The bike is a brand new one by American Bicycles. It is really comfortable, rides very smoothly and I got the sturdy u lock to keep it very secure.I also got really nice Australian beach shorts and a pocket smart phone charger. CP also has paddleboard, kayak and rollerblade rentals which I also want to try out. The Malibu Kayaks are the nicest Ive ever seen.They also sell really cool looking, floating wood framed sunglasses, go pros, sandals and shirts.The Staff is amazing and Jason adjusted my bike seat for me so it fit perfectly and gave me great local biking tips.I found this place after checking out several other shops I wasnt happy with due to charging excessively with bad terms and poor customer service.This is the best bike rental shop Ive ever been to, no question about it.

Got a surfboard there for a day and took it to a beach a little further away. Unfortunately the leash didnt work so I couldnt use the board and as the beach was too far to take the board back I couldnt surf all day. At the shop they didnt even apologize and charged me for the full day anyway. So if youre looking for quality rent your board at another place!

Originally had a bad experience here because some of the employees were inexperienced and rented us equipment they shouldnt have.Management was very amicable and cleared things up.

This place is so cheap and so close to the beach. I was out for almost 2 hours and they only charged me for an hour for my surfboard. They also offered me a locker to keep my keys in. They have a changing area too, for people who rent wetsuits.

We made a regular stop here to rent surfboards. The prices are great: $ 20 for the boards and $ 12 for the bikes all day. To reach the bike path and the beach just cross the road. To eat there is the Olive Cafe ... and Mission Beach is a beautiful beach!Reasonable prices and great service.
