Tommy at Stay classy took care of me big time! I put all new components (shifters, cables, chain, cassette, derailleur, etc.) on my bike myself, hooked everything up but I knew I didn’t have the experience to dial it in perfectly. Tommy was VERY fair on price and made the bike perfect, trued the wheels, wrapped the bars and now my bike is perfectly road ready and tuned to perfection! I’ll be taking my other road bike and my wife’s beach cruiser for tune ups here!

I, took My Cruiser in to Get it Tighten and aligned. The, Mechanic gave me a cold drink and a 🪑 while I watched Him Work. I, have to take it back to line up the rear axle. One, side wasnt tighten down. Other, than that. Nice, service. I, do recommend.

I ride allot of different bikes from road, TT, mnt, even a runners bike that very few have seen or worked on. My bike repair guy Tommy is the best..he keeps my bikes in top shape especially my tri bike.. when race day come especially long races like Ironman. I want to make sure that my bike is top CONDITION with no worries. Lets not even get into the cost..BEST IN TOWN., and you dont have to wait a week for repairs like most big bike shops. HIGHLY RECOMMEND... I ONLY GO TO TOMMY!!

Dropped off my bike too get truing done I payed him upfront for the work, Not only did he start on it right away, he had it finished in less then 30 minutes from when i dropped it off.

Peter was amazing. We didnt have the foresight to book in advance but he did everything he could to accommodate us last second. He provided us with exactly what we needed, including a bike path map and some recommendations on where to stop. Absolutely a highlight of my trip to San Diego and Id recommend going here to anyone who is keen on seeing the area via road bike.

I just returned from time overseas and my bike was in rough shape. I was able to bring it in to Stay Classy Bikes and Tommy took great care of me. He was personable, friendly, and was able to get me exactly what I needed. On top of that, the bike was ready sooner than expected. I will definitely be back in the future.

Really great place to fix or rent a bike. Came to Tommy the lead mechanic for what I thought was a complicated issue and he diagnosed it and went to work fixing it. My shifter was out of whack. When he got done it purred like a kitten. There was joy back in my life. I have a great deal of respect for mechanics but Tommy is on a whole other level of good. Give this bike shop and make sure to ask for Tommy, you won’t regret it.

Absolutely excellent experience! Visited San Diego on personal business, so my trip was not paid for. Did not want to spend $22/day to rent a car, $19/day to park it at the hotel, and then who-knows-how-much to park it elsewhere and keep gas in it. Looking for options, all the other bike rental places wanted $200 or more to rent a bike for a week. Rented a City Bike from Stay Classy instead for $75 for and it was PERFECT! They were able to accommodate a last-minute reservation, but I had to pick the bike up instead of receiving a delivery. No problem, because their shop is only 2 miles from my hotel downtown. The owners are lovely people. She set me up in store, right as they were closing, made sure the bike was the right size for me, the helmet was a good fit, and even gave me a Coke for the road. He picked the bike up on the last day (again, at the last hour) and was super nice. The bike was comfortable. Brakes were loose and squeaky, and I kinda fixed it myself, but he told me I should have called and they would have come out to fix them (why didnt I think of that???) I ride MTBs and road bikes, and this city bike was surprisingly comfortable. I took the bike on the ferry to Cornonado twice, and even rode around Mission Bay once. What a great way to get around the city!!!Will recommend stay classy to anyone and everyone! Thank you so much!

I bought a used road bike with sticky shifters and brought it to them for service and paid $60 which i thought is fair for shifter service. I left the bike with them for a week as i work in irvine. After installing new pedal and going on my first ride i noticed the rear derailleur only shifted 4 of the gears and got sticky after that. I took the bike to a friends and he simply sprayed some WD-40 in the shifters and watched a youtube video on how to adjust the derailleur and problem solved very easily. The workers at Stay Classy seemed very nice so i think maybe they just forgot about fixing anything and assumed it was done. Nonetheless i was told the bike was ready and the workers should have at least checked shifting all the gears and the problem would have clearly shown itslef. I am an outlier as they have good reviews but this is the truth of my experience.

Incredibly impressed with the service, equipment and fairness of this business. My friends and I flew in from a few different cities to go cycling and Peter hooked us up with high quality road bikes that felt brand new. He was flexible with pickup and delivery to us and gave us pointers on where to ride. I put about 160 miles on the bike over the course of one week and it felt great the entire time. High quality components, frames, and wheel sets and all well maintained. I highly recommend.

I’ve rented from Stay Classy the last couple years and it has always been a great experience. Bike are always on time and well maintained. This year I threw some last minute changes to my order and Peter was more than accommodating and we (myself and my 6 yr old sister on the pull a long bike) had a blast. So much so that she wants to get one for home and the rest of the family was asking for Peters contact info for all of them renting with Stay Classy next year.

An excellent bike rental place with solid bicycles and reasonable prices. I rented a road bike for two days and did over 200 km without any problems. The bicycle was a pleasure to ride. They deliver and pick up the bicycle for free. The service is nothing less than excellent. My bike was supposed to be delivered within 20 minutes after I reserved it but the delivery truck broke down on the way to my motel. So I moved the rental to the next day. My bike was delivered exactly on time and I got a completely free rental as compensation for the trouble. The next day, the bike was picked up again exactly as agreed (not a minute later). Now, thats what I call a superb customer experience. If youre looking for an honest rental place with quality service, and good bikes and prices, look no further because Stay Classy is what you need.

And when you’re finished with it, just lock it up where you are, take a picture of it, message Pete the location, and he’ll pick it up. I just finished an amazing 30 mile bike ride around San Diego that only happened because of the recommendation of the guy who dropped off my bike at my hotel this morning. The bike was great. And I really appreciated having a helmet and bike lock. But it was the extra effort of the recommendation by Stay Classy Bike Rentals that made the difference between just a few random stops and the best day Ive ever had visiting San Diego. You should go with these guys.

I would recommend Stay Classy Bikes without any reservations. Renting a bike from them gave me an opportunity to see much more of San Diego during the week that I was staying there. The bike was in excellent condition, delivered to my hotel on time, and they were flexible about pick up time which made things so much easier. This was an experience I look forward to repeat.

While visiting San Deigo I rented a road bike from Stay Classy after researching several options for rentals. Peter delivered the bike to my hotel within 30 minutes after I initially called. He gave me a map and offered advice on riding in the local area, including recommendations on routes and traffic. The bike was clean and well-maintained, and he put my pedals on it, gave me a bike tool, some CO2 and a tube. Following the rental he asked me to leave the bike with the front desk of our hotel so I didnt have to bring it back him; he picked it up and saved me tons of time. I will definitely rent from Stay Classy again, and I highly recommend them!

Fantastic service, delivery, and bike rental equipment. Unfortunately, the combination lock that was provided with the rental was easily unscrambled in broad daylight by a thief, and the bike stolen. The combination was easily tampered due to the low quality of provided locks. Would suggest never locking the bike in any public areas if you receive the cheap combination lock from the company, unless you want to foot the cost of the bike.

We rented from Stay Classy in 2014 and the experience was OUTSTANDING. They brought the bikes, helmets and locks to our hotel in La Jolla and picked them up 2 days later after we checked out. We simply left the bikes with the Valet service and it was not a problem. We are headed back to San Diego this week and we will rent from them again because it was so easy and inexpensive.

When I was looking for a bike to rent, I just called them to ask if they had a bike available. They told me they were in the area and drove a bike to my door in 5 minutes! Best service ever + you get a nice map! $25 for first day + $10 for every other day.

Absolutely fantastic rental experience. I rented a fuji roubaix and received a well serviced bike with a stocked repair saddlebag and a helmet. Unfortunately I got a slow leak on the front then after changing the tube got another flat. After calling Peter he came out within 20 minutes with new tubes and a new front tire and proceeded to replace the front tire for me. Peter even gave me a ride back to my airbnb since I was running late due to the flats. I am still absolutely blown away by that level of service. I would highly recommend stay classy to anyone wanting to rent a quality road bike in San Diego.

Great, friendly, knowledgable staff and good equipment. I have two regrets: one, I should have read the website carefully before walking to the Google Maps indicated location. It was dead wrong. They were actually out in front of the Hyatt. Two, I should have paid the extra bucks for a road bike instead of a commuter bike. I ride fairly often, so keep that in mind with my second regret. I would go to them every chance I had.

Peter was fantastic,,, I only reserved online at 10pm and he dropped my bike at hotel at 8am then next morning. Did thorough bike safety check, had helmet, lock, rack, lights, patch kit. But more important he gave me a map on trails/routes to La Jolla, SD loop, Coronado (free ferry before 8:10) and best cheap eats and microbreweries. Leave the bike at the hotel and he picks up. Rented 4 days and did early morning & evening rides - great break from business mtgs! Peter is awesome. Ill be back.

Great bikes, service, and attitude.I usually ship my bike when I travel, but decided to rent instead, as I did not want the hassle of breaking my bike down to put it into the shipping case, plus the cost of shipping was about the same as renting.I filled out the form online and promptly got a call from Peter.Peter was super cool and knowledgeable and after a quick talk, picked out the right size bike for me.He delivered it on time, put on my pedals, and left the bike with my wife (I was fishing).I am used to very high end bikes (my rain bike is carbon fiber Colnago with Dura-Ace) and I was super happy with the Fuji with DI2 shifters- it was light, shifted well, rode well, and performed as well as my $$ Colnagos.The bike fit perfect after a seatpost adjustment and worked flawlessly during my week of riding.I cannot imagine a better bike rental experience.

Awesome deal, awesome service, couldnt be better. The owner delivered my bike to my airbnb 15 minutes after I called, even provided a bike lock and helmet. I was visiting by myself from NJ, and he gave me a great little map with suggested route and destinations and suggested the greatest taco place in SD--Salud! (which was amazing). And when I called the next day, he was ready to pick it up as soon as I was done with it. Bike was in great condition and got me all around the city. Dont Uber around! Rent a bike! $25 for 24 hours gets you a quality hybrid road bike. I couldnt be happier and my time rushing around on the bike, seeing everything I could and going through all the neighborhoods really was the highlight of my CA trip. Thanks!
