Awesome staff, great advice. Works well for bikes for the whole family. This store has served San Diego for a long as I can remember, 30 years or more?Really convenient location, close to a lot of stores across the road. But closed on Tuesdays :-/ It is tough for any businesses these days.There should be more stores like Q Bikes!

Every time I go to this bike shop, I get A+ customer service!! Bar none! They are amazing! The owners are so incredible giving of servicing you when you walk in, recognizing you and not letting you wait long at all even when they are busy! They give free valuable information on maintaining your bike, do quick fixes on the top! I could go on and on but I think you get the picture! Stellar people!! So nice!

This is by far the best bicycle store In all of San Diego County. Z and his crew are happy to take care of all your needs from accessories to custom builds. Kids bikes to Mountain conquering beasts and electric Maestros. My family has been coming to Quality Bikes for more than 30 years. Other people will sell you bikes. Quality Bikes creates the right experience, based on what is important to you and what will fit in your budget.

The service was bad I dropped off a wheel on Saturday and they said would be done that day and they would call and never did so I stopped by on Wednesday and they had no idea what wheel they are very unorganized and wont use again.

Took my bike in today for possible repairs; several problems. The manager was late opening the store; offered no apologies. After telling me immediately that it would be more worth my while to just buy a new bike, I asked him how much it would cost to fix the bike verses getting a new one. He then excused himself and left me to help another customer who arrived after I did but clearly was in the market for a new bike. He did not return to assist me after a reasonable time so I left. I will be buying a new bike but Ill check out a a different store first before returning here. I dd not appreciate the customer service.

Q Bike is and will be my go to bike shop from now on. I had not ridden my bike in a few years so I decided it was time to get out and do so. Very helpful didnt buy a bike from them but I did get parts and they were making sure I had everything I needed.

Perfect customer service!! The mechanic saw me getting out of my car with my stroller tire and immediately got it from my hands and started fixing it. He even pumped all the tires from my stroller. Very happy about quick the service was!! Thank you!!!

Love this bike shop. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Ive purchased 6 bikes from this shop since 2017 (I have kids...) and they are my go to shop for service and repairs. Xavier knows bikes and is a rider. Highly recommend you stop in for a visit if youre in the market for a bike.

The great staff answered all of our questions prior to purchase. They assembled our AddMotor E-Trike perfectly and delivered to our house and gave us an orientation. Terrific LBS in Sand Diego and we highly recommend!

Ive been using Q Bikes for decades. Could I obtain parts cheaper online? Just about everything can be obtained cheaper through E-Bay with their low overhead and high volume. I prefer to frequent a locally owned shop that delivers knowledgeable advice and great service.Theyre always cheerful and helpful. In fact Im heading there to buy two tires and tubes.

BEST BIKE SHOP AROUND!! These folks are so friendly and so very helpful! My son managed to get a tire pump jammed into his spokes (have no clue how he did it) and the guy at this shop got it out for us! I feel like a jerk because I didn’t get his name but I think he’s the owner. Seems like he, his wife, and another family member run the shop. They also fixed the clicking noise on my other sons bike, filled the tires, gave me great suggestions on a good bike lock for us, etc. overall super great experience and I’m very grateful!!

Great local bike shop. After going to REI to buy another helmet for my son and not finding anything satisfactory (adjustable web system is not too much to ask on a kids helmet), we stopped into Q Bikes. They had a great selection of kids helmets and actually took time to fit the helmet to my child! That alone was worth it to me. Although I am an experienced bicyclist, fitting a helmet to a 3.5 year old is not on top of my list. My son put up with the fitting done by an stranger. He would not have done so for me.

The owner and staff are very nice and the store provides excellent service that I do not see anywhere else. I brought my sons bike in thinking that it would need wheel services. The owner came out tested the bike and told me NO, the wheels are perfect and that I dont need any services. Thats the very honest service that you dont often see nowadays. I strongly recommend you this store.

This place is amazing, great costumer support, everything you need for your bike, and the nicest people out there, definitely recommend it. I had to get my bars fixed because they kept going back, the owner Im guessing fixed it and even fixed so many things wrong with my bike, definitely recommend this shop and this will for ever be my go to bike shop.

Purchased a Corsa road bike here back in 2012, it served me well, and was a huge bang for the buck. Unfortunately it was stolen recently, I called up Q bikes and they were able to quickly give me the serial number on the purchase for my police report. Without that number, your bike is as good as gone. Thanks for keeping records back that far Q bikes!

Not exactly the friendliest bunch here. I went to purchase a bike, and upon asking to test ride, they rejected my valid California ID, stating I need a drivers licence. I dont have a drivers license because Ive been cycling for 12 years. I was happy to take my business elsewhere.

This is the best bike shop in SD. They are old school from the BMX/Freestyle days and know all about current trends. I have used them for mountain biking and old school BMX. Only bike shop I will use. They have a great selection of bikes, parts and service. I have not found better service anywhere else!!!

They had an incredible head light selection. And the lady who helped me was very sweet and knowledgeable about the products.

These guys and gal know bikes. They are very knowledgeable when it comes to all aspects of cycling and i would not hesitate to take their advice. They only really sell a higher end bicycle and parts but it worth it. If you want a crappy bike go to walmart or target if you want Quality....you know!

It was a positive experience. The people were friendly. I took my bike there to be serviced. I felt l could trust that the work on my bike will be done properly.

Just went in to ask about a new chain. I said hello right as the clerk threw a helmet into the back work area. Not real stoked to see another customer. He said a new chain would be $22 plus $25 to install.See ya. Found another place for $30 installed.

Walked in, 2 associates helping 1 family. I didnt get a hello or give us a few and someone will be with you nothing. Bikes were everywhere but difficult to find the price tags?? Idk, either way, I walked in wanting to buy a bike today and walked out shaking my head. On to the next shop (shrugs)

Tony was very cool. He stayed late to help us with our bikes on Christmas eve.

I fixed two bikes at this place. The guys really know what they are doing. The first bike was a very old tandem that required multiple non-standard parts; the second was an electric bike. If you have a non-standard, highly specialized repair work, this is the place to go.

Great shop and great service. I love my bike that I bought a year ago I went back because I bent my wheel and they did not charge me and the wheel is perfect. great JOB.

Ive been to this place about three times so far. I live right around the corner and I figured that I would make this my go-to bike store. Today I purchased 2 brand new tires and brand new inner tubes and paid $14 for labor and about $63 for parts. I went riding in the trails immediately after getting my new tires and inner tubes installed. I got a TWO flat tires and had to walk my back about 2 miles home. I went back up to the store and I spoke with the lady working the counter. She told me that it was thorns that caused both tires to go flat. I explained to her that it was a quality problem since Ive been riding the same trails in Clairemont for months with my old bald tires and old inner tubes. I was then told that it was not a quality issue again, it was thorns. I finally persuaded the older gentleman working in the back to help me out since I just spend about $80 for two flat tires that last 3 miles of riding. I left my bike with them to do the repairs to my tires and they called my cell phone to tell me that I needed new rim strip and it was gonna cost $2.50 each. Another way to haggle more money out of me after selling me inferior products compared to my old bald tires and old inner tubes. Never going back here, I was treated other than desirable. I would expect more from a business that sold $80 worth of products that broke and/or was faulty within 2-3 hours.

I was riding next to the business today; saw the poster saying CLOSEOUT. So I call ph# when I get home: (only an automated message): The person cant take your phone call. Asking for a message to be left. NO WONDER WHY THE LOSS OF BUSINESS/CUSTOMERS. Who/What customers want to attempt communication (eye/face/ear/email/i-pad/cell) with such a business.

Q Bikes is a great place to purchase a bike and other accessories that are needed. They have helped me many many times with my Grandsons bike, never charged me much or sometime not at all. I have purchased more then a few bikes from them plus a high end scooter that they will always adjust for me for free. I love that place and love that it is a Mom & Pops place. You have wonderful service and you have such the knowledge there and they are so helpful. I could not imagine going anywhere else for my grandkids bikes or helmets or anything related to something on wheels! I love Q bikes and all their many years of helping me with fixing flat tires, replacing broken chains, BMX racing bikes and just replacing parts that wore out. They are honest and will not rip you off. Keep up the great work you folks do.
