So far my husband and I have purchased 3 couches, 4 chairs, 2 ottomans, and 1 headboard/bed frame from Comfort Furniture. We still use the first couches we bought 13 years ago- they have held up really well and are very comfy. My recent purchases for our bedroom are unique and beautiful. I love that we can customize to our specifications. This furniture is a great value for what you get.

I studied Interior Design and worked for Interior design firm. I decided to give a business to Baran for a sectional sofa. Baran is not professional at all, please please don’t go with her. We ordered a sectional for almost $7000, after a month we received the sectional totally different with whatever we ordered (it was all deformed and each of the cushions were in different sizes), I called her and she started arguing with me. I sent her pictures, after a month she decided to come to our house to see what’s wrong with the sectional, long story short she asked us to pay $750 to send them back to factory to make the cushions even!!!!!! We even paid that money, Again after a month they brought them back with same exact problem. Now when we called she ignored and pass is to Fernando, Fernando was very rude and direspectful to us he wasn’t helpful at all.My husband left review on google and yelp this is what Baran texted me“ how dare you go on Yelp and trash a busines u didn’t do anything with ?! “ this is what she texted me after spending $7000 and not getting a sofa we ordered. She sales under name of queen Baran Design but when any peoblem comes up she pass it to Fernando under “Cmfort Furniture Gallery“ and she doesn’t take any responsibility for her job. If anyone wants I can send you the pictures of the first day of my new sectional and now after a year all cusions got more deformed and thy got small which the frame is way bigger than cushions.

We had the worst experience with this store.From the designer (Baran) to the owner of the store Fernando, both have terrible customer service. I couldn’t believe how rude and unprofessional they were when we came a cross with the issues. We ordered a custom built sofa with them and Baran “ the designer “ came up with some prints on scratch paper to show us the look of the sofa. We were agreed on what we ordered and what she showed us, but the problem started when the sofa was delivered to our house. An ugly and uneven cushions that looked like it’s been used for years!!!I called Baran and explained the situation, she started yelling and talking so rude that we ordered it the same way! I couldn’t tolerate her unprofessional attitude and asked to speak with the owner of the store Fernando. He seemed like wanted to help but he end up acting the same as his employee as well!Make the story short, after sending the sofa back to their store 2 different times to repair and even paying extra for the work we got nothing but an ugly sofa in our house with spending nearly $7000I would not recommend this store and it’s rude and unprofessional workers at all. This company has nothing to offer to help and solves the issues of its customers.I wish we could have gone to a known brand store which every penny worth to spend on their products.

My husband and I recently came to Comfort Furniture Galleries to order a sofa system for a second home that we own in Cambria and our experience and final could not have been better. Fernando greeted us and over the next several hours patiently listened to our needs and shared his honest expertise with us as we looked over different possibilities which are absolutely endless! One can customize anything in any way! Fernando is extremely knowledgeable in his field and personable as well. His follow-up communication with us since we had a time restriction in order to pick up the finished system and trailer it up to the central coast was attentive and perfect. And the finished system is high quality, beautiful, and well-manufactured. LOVE my new sofa. Fernando could not have been more patient or helpful. I had very limiting measurements given an old house and narrow hallways and doorways, but he helped me find the perfect couch. Then he was very patient as I worked through every possible fabric to find the ideal choice. The couch came in perfectly customized, exactly as ordered, at a very reasonable price. I am so happy I went with Comfort Furniture Galleries instead of accepting some other option with limited fabric and style choices. Who knew you could get a totally custom couch at such reasonable prices made right here in California. I am delighted!!!

We just moved into our first apartment and our space is super tight, we had a hard time picturing what kind of sofa would fit and work as a bed for guests as well. Once we took the dimensions and visited the store, Gloriza made sure to narrow down our options to sofas that were the size that would work for us and that had all the characteristics we were looking for, even for delivery she made sure that it would fit through our doors and we got it delivered at a time when it would work for us. All in all, it was the best furniture shopping experience, we are definitely coming back and recommend it to everyone we know.

I worked with Baran and I must say that she is the rudest person I have ever seen. She talks really fast, does not listen to what the customer wants, and tries to impose her design ideas on people. I am sorry but there is one thing to have a degree in design and there is a matter of taste which is innate! I ordered a sofa and two chairs from them, and I really liked the fact that I could specify the dimensions and the fabric, and the price was reasonable. When they delivered the sofa, our living room was empty, except for the sofa since we were remodeling. So, we only used our family room. When we finally used the sofa for the first time, there was a little tear on one of the cushions. So, i called Baran, and I can not describe how rude her tone was. She would not let me finish my thought, and quickly became defensive and really offensive. Questioning my claim that we had not sat on the sofa, and then responding by saying fabrics dont do that to themselves, someone must have done it. I said: Then perhaps people in the factory must have done it. I hung up, since this was s not the first time she had been rude.and it irks me to work with people like that, Her mannerism is cheap and petty.However, I did check the receipt and it says in big letters that there is no warranty on fabric. We had not even used the sofa yet, but that tells me that you should watch out for the fabrics you choose from this store, since the company seems to know the life of their fabric to be short.I do like Fernando though.

Baran was awesome and helped us pick and design the sectional for our home. She stayed late with us and really spent time understanding what we wanted. I would do it all over again!

There were a variety of choices and a variety of prices. The quality is good. They helped me and they were endlessly patient with my indecisiveness. All in all, the sofa I bought was way more than I planned to spend but the service was so good that its worth it.

Baran was amazing. After striking out at every furniture store in town trying to find something that would fit our space and style. She helped us create the perfect couch for our living room space. We needed a custom length and we wanted a wedge. Knowing we had kids and dogs, she guided us through the fabrics that would work best, and even how they would perform over the various densities of foam. She really knows her stuff and has a great eye for design.Our original selected fabric got damaged and our couch was delayed, but she helped us find an EVEN BETTER! fabric that we actually liked more. Throughout this experience, Baran was patient and communicated well. EXCELLENT customer service!Weve had our couch for 3 months now and we still comment on how beautiful and perfect it is. It was worth the investment. I will forever come back to Comfort Furniture Gallery and Baran for our home furnishing needs. Thank you!

I ordered a sofa with chaise with extra firm cushion. They put extra padding on arms so now they balloon out. The sofa has only a 1/2 inch clearance from the floor which means that I cannot clean under it without dragging the sofa, which means constant movement which will damage the floor. Traditional sofas come with exposed legs and skirted (which cover the legs, not eliminate them). I expected to find legs covered with a skirt, in the traditional style. This is not what I got. I was told by manager, in the most rude manner possible, that I received exactly what was on the showroom. Its my fault I didnt look, I thought I was getting a traditional sofa. This posting is to make sure other people dont get a sofa they cant clean under without movers. My surge protector wont fit and my iPad dock charger, which has a transformer, doesnt fit. My sound system rear speaker doesnt fit. All this inconvenience and then rude customer service experience. You make your own judgement, but please look at the legs of your sofa. It will save you years of torture.

Baran was a tremendous asset in helping us decide the perfect custom-made, sectional for my place. Baran was a joy to work with, answered all of our questions, took her time with us, and gave us all the attention that we needed to help us arrive to our decision. The delivery was right on time as well .... expected delivery date was 10-14 days, and my furniture arrived on the 10th day after the transaction date. The assembly was also quick and the people who delivered it to my place are very professional.As I mentioned, we looked around a few furniture places before settling on Comfort Furniture. We feel this place gave us the most choices and most flexibility in terms of how we want our custom sectional to look, which includes the fabric, cushion firmness, sofa dimensions, and warranty. The attention we got from customer service was something that impressed me as well ! Selecting the right furniture is definitely overwhelming, but Baran was there throughout the whole process in helping us come to our decision.Definitely highly recommend this place! And yes, my new sectional couch looks GREAT and feels GREAT !!! Loving the look at my pace!
