Ethan Allen did a marvelous job recovery and repairing an armchair that has been in my family for 60yrs! The selection of fabric they had was wonderful, and the staff was so helpful. I love the fact that a designer will come to my home with the fabric we have chosen so that we can see what it actually looks like in the lighting and space of our room. The work was done in a very professional manner and we love our new chair!

When we purchased our bedroom sets, both for the master bed room and kid’s room 15 years ago, it was such a great experience. And these furnitures were of great quality, made in America and were part of our life’s memories. So when we are in need of a new dining table set, naturally we go right back to EA. We ordered a table, a buffet and 6 chairs. Ordered in July, got delayed- which we didn’t mind. But when they arrived, every piece had some issues. The chairs all had minor dents, some wobbles badly. But the tables and buffet surface all had numerous spots/stains that were obvious flaws of the wood treatment or paint job. Yes, they sent someone to the house to fix the wobbly chairs and offered to re-order the table and buffet. Even though the designer admitted it’s a new products and they don’t know what happened there, she and the store manager (San Diego) would keep tell us that they are “part of the finish” and describe the minor dent damages on the chairs “a process to make an aged look”. We understand things happen and mistakes happen. All you have to do, especially when you are dealing with your loyal customers, is to own up your mistakes and fix them. I am sure that a name like EA would figure out what had gone wrong in their production process to cause those stains. And maybe you don’t even need to explain what actually happened to us. But to say “it’s part of the finish” is so insulting and condescending towards your customers- and that’s the biggest issue in this whole saga.

I had a stellar experience with Ethan Allen when I purchased my first new sofa in 20 years. The designer helped me make tasteful decisions that I didnt feel competent in making myself. My sofa came out looking better than I even anticipated. The sofa arrived two months before anticipated and the delivery men were right on time and exceptional professionals. I could not be more pleased.

I worked with Justin, in San Diego, on finding the perfect sofa for my space. He was professional, knowledgeable, and so helpful. He and each staff member I worked with offered up helpful design ideas to make my home even more beautiful and truly reflect my personality. We recently ordered a custom chair from Ethan Allen to add to our collection of EA furniture which we purchased 11 years ago and which is still in great condition. Our visit to the San Diego store went very smoothly with great attention paid to the pandemic precautions. Our design consultant was very helpful with assisting us to make choices from the many custom options offered.The chair arrived in just over 2 months from the order date (a record for us with many experiences in purchasing custom furniture). It is beautifully upholstered and extremely comfortable, as weve come to expect from Ethen Allen.

Had an excellent experience purchasing a new mattress, duvet cover, pillow shams and bedding basics. Justin Peteris, Senior Design Center Manager, was amazing to work with. Very friendly, helpful and patient. I will be shopping here again.

When we recently looked to update our home furnishings we went to Ethan Allen and met Gulcin Balic. Gulcin was welcoming and patiently helped us through the maze of options. She listened carefully as we chose fabrics and accessories. She even came to our home to ensure our purchases would fit with our current decor. We cant wait to receive our new couch and tables!

My experience recently was awesome. I purchased several items and am so excited to see how the new items will integrate into my existing decor. I needed a refreshing feel in my home and I got just that. Gulcin Balic was my design associate and she patiently went through every picture I submitted to her of my home and helped me introduce new items that made a big impact. She really knows her design. I highly recommend her services. In fact, for some reason I always second guess myself when I buy these kinds of things that I know I will have to look at for several years. I did buy them and I am so excited for being so daring. I love it all and really appreciated her expertise!

Gulcin Balic provided expert guidance in helping me choose a swivel chair and fabric to coordinate with existing sofa. Her demeanor was lovely as she listened carefully and provided a range of choices of fabrics and expert opinions about what works the best our existing decor.

I recently visited the San Diego location. My intention was to browse through the store to look for a new sofa. I was approached by Gulcin Balic, Interior Design Associate. She was extremely pleasant to work with as she guided us through the store to discover our options. We scheduled an appointment to visit our home with possible option that would work for the space. I purchased a sofa, Aude Brissot was my consultant and was great when it came to selection of fabric and color. Delivery of the sofa went very smoothly.

Aude Brissot was absolutely wonderful! We knew we wanted a matching loveseat and sofa sleeper and she gave us the perfect balance of knowledge, assistance, and time on our own to roam through all the marvelous fabric swatches. She made some great recommendations, and couldt have been nicer or more accommodating when we came back to make some changes. End result: a fabulous new living room! Have to complement the delivery personnel as well: they were professional, polite, and very careful with our new purchases. I most highly recommend shopping Ethan Allen if you are looking for quality furniture and service. A true pleasure.

Great customer service and I received my ordered item almost a month ahead of expected date. Delivered with a smile and in perfect condition. The deliverer also unpacked and took all boxing/garbage with him. Great experience. Great product!

Wow the lack of respect that Arlene treated my wife and I with. She was playing on her cell phone and wouldnt put away when we were trying to ask her questions... Will never come back...
