I went to San Diego to celebrate my birthday on Monday. I brought a bag of make up with me, not that I really know what I’m doing, and ended up deciding 4 hours before my birthday dinner “why not just get it professionally done?”. I was so pleased. Though I was last minute, they still offered to take me in. Mayra was great, quick but still managed to take her time. Felt like a whole new person at the end of it!

Worked with Priscilla for some new colors and expert advice. Great listener and fabulous instructor/artist. She hit it out of the park!

Everytime Im in San diego, I visit this branch and get great advice from Priscilla as to what suited my skin tone and tips of what to do.All staff are very attentive and knowledgeable and most importantly very friendly. My favourite MAC. I bought the mini lipstick, studio face and body foundation, mineralize concealer and next to nothing powder/press to complete my look :)

Im very much a beginner in the world of makeup. I will use eyeliner, mascara and something on my lip, and maybe foundation if I have time. But nothing else! I barely know how to pick my foundation, and everything else confuses me! I came to the MAC store in March 2018 and I met Karly and I asked her if she could help me pick out a foundation. She found me one and then had me sit in the lovely, very brightly lit seat to apply the foundation. I asked more questions about concealer and bronzer and blush. She answered my questions and was extremely informative. She then showed me how she applied the foundation, and later walked me through how she applied concealer, bronzer, and blush to my face after asking if I wanted to try the products she picked out for my skin tone and type. My face has never looked better! She helped achieve the look I wanted and exceeded my expectations. She was funny, delightful, and so sweet. She asked if I wanted any of the products and when I said no because I wanted to test out how the makeup wears, she was completely understanding. She even gave me a card and wrote down every product and shade she used and wrote her name on the back if I ever wanted her to do my makeup for an event I have. I still have the card and I just went this past weekend to the MAC store to buy every product on the list. Karly was actually there the day I came and helped match my shades again since its been 4 months. She also helped me pick out two brushes for me to use for all the products. My experience, makeup, and customer service was perfect! Thanks Karly for giving me such a memorable experience! I cant wait to return and learn more. I plan on calling the store to ask when her hours are so I can get more tips from her :)

Really sad experience here. The girl was alone and had the worst attitude. She was treating all of us with very short answers and was making another customer feel dumb because she didnt know the product she wanted. I dropped all of my favorites and walked out the store instead. Mac please hire people that LoVe what they do.

Total Scam offered me free sample and as I walked over they back inside EMPTY store and were putting goop on me. I had to use money saved for food to get out of store. They even did the fake let me talk to manager to get better price act. Avoid this place. One item costs you $700! Thats their pricing. Go to CVS or upgrade to a department store but never go there.

New freestanding MAC store at UTC yay! There is still MAC at Nordstrom but if you want the MAC store, it is now open!

I love mac cosmetics especially their lipsticks lip glosses and foundation
