This place has really cool hip clothes. They carry really unique pieces that you dont find everywhere. Beside clothes they carry vinyl records and cassette tapes. The only downside of this place is that it is a little pricey. The staff is very friendly and always helps me when I come in.

This store is doesn’t really have many options.

It was my birthday March 22nd and I tried walking into this store 9 minutes before closing and they wouldn’t let me in. I get like the last 5 minutes but common it was almost a full 10 minutes before they closed and they can’t close till the people inside are out of there anyways.

Visiting San Diego for the weekend and decided to stop by because the place we’re staying at is pretty close. We left anticipating to get their by 6:50 which would be fine but when we tried to get inside they told us that they’re closed (it was 6:50). When we tried to reason with the guy because it didn’t really make sense he just kept responding with “sorry we’re closed” until he finally told us they were doing it to get their staff home on time but if you close at 7 what does that even mean haha. anyway pretty stupid policy if you ask me and it sucked especially bad cuz we drove out just for that. :/

Easy fast returns if you have receipt. I only wish they had better sales. The clothing seems a bit pricey for the average quality.

First time visiting San Diegos Urban and I was very pleased with the selection, atmosphere, cleanliness and staff. They were very patient and welcoming when there were issues with my purchase. The only minor complaint was the music selection, but thats very subjective and the store had a weird smell to it.

Cool building with multiple levels. They have a diverse array of clothes and music and fun novelty items from the 80’s to now. It’s got a hipster vibe too, but the service isn’t great. Staff is really nice, but we waited 15 min and they weren’t busy, just not in a rush to help. Nice people

I had not been to an Urban Outfitters since shopping with college age kids, now adults, but I was very impressed. The sizes are great for small people as they are more jr. but I think their quality is getting better and better and they are spot on with trends where I wouldnt want to buy at a higher price point but want to keep up and wear for the season. Right now, they have those cargo/mustard colored outback looking wider legged pants with the high cinched waist that a mini person (moi) could never find to fit and I did try these (and later with my daughter who is a little taller, different body, still small). Surprisingly, they not only fit very well with little to no alternation, they had many pairs of the same type, so it seems like almost any body type within reason could find something that might work. Im sorry I dont have pictures, too busy looking...next time!

Other than a great clothing the best here is the customer service. Love it, everytime is a pleasant experience.

This location has minimized in size and quality. I used to love to stop in and explore the store and find new finds. Now, the inventory is low and not the best selection of merchandise.

Besides the one in Fashion Valley, this location too is one of my favorites. Cool set up and love how it is structured. Love the downstairs basement section.

Ive always loved this place.

Great customer service. I bought a skirt from this store while on vacation and it fell apart after the first wash. Called the store and they shipped me a replacement all the way to Florida. They did offer a refund but I loved the skirt too much. The skirt was obviously of bad quality but thats not this store locations fault. Ill just be hand washing it from now on!

Im sorry if this is the wrong San Diego store, but someone shipped a pair of shoes to me without taking off the theft deterrent tag. It is extremely frustrating to deal with this kind of ineptitude or laziness. I hope they dont make more than the minimum wage, because mistakes happen, but this happened because the person didnt check inside the box which is part of the process. You didnt do your job so now I have to go in a store to get this issue fixed. Waste of my time and energy, dude. Dont waste your time with this company. They dont care enough to do the simplest things.

Ive been to urban outfitters several times in Texas. This one in San Diego was very similar. Unfortunately, the service was not. After asking for help, I was told that I would just have to look around because the item I needed was sort of all over. After looking for a while, I just gave up.
