This place is so good! We got the cookie pies with the ice cream on top. You get to customize your own. It’s a cool snack spot. The customer service was pretty good. I would give this place 5 stars but it was like $23 for just these 2 little cookies with ice cream. Just really overpriced for something so small. Other than that I’d probably come back here.

Very fun place to check out. Many selections of cookies and ice cream flavors available and despite being very busy, the line kept moving.One thing Id like to point out is that even leaving my brownie sandwich in the freezer for 2 days after I got it (I got 2 treats for myself🤷‍♂️) the brownie was still soft and not a hockey puck.I tried sea salt peanut butter chocolate chip cookies for the sandwich and dark chocolate ice cream as well as a brownie sandwich with Smores ice cream. Both were delicious. My girlfriend had chocolate chip cookie and brownie sandwich and dark chocolate ice cream with almonds.I will definitely be back.

What this ice cream shop differs from the other?Their Cookies! I had a red velvet cookie with dark chocolate ice cream while my partner had a normal cookie and smores ice creamIf you have a sweet tooth this place if FOR YOU! I am not, so unfortunately the smallest order they have was too much for me. I wasnt able to finish it BUT I put it in freezer and eat the next day and the quality didnt really change.I like the place but its too small, so you dont have place to sit at inside the place however if you get lucky you can occupy their 2-3 tables outside. Or you can just walk 2-3mins to hangout in this small resting area in front of the italian restaurant if am not mistaken.The menu was pretty straightforward, and the staff took care of us through taking time in taking our order even they were pack.

Horrible customer service, felt so unwelcome in here. The kids behind the counter barely said a word and had awful attitudes. I’d rather go to a McDonald’s for ice cream- the ice cream is 1/10 of the price and the workers would be nicer than these ones.

Do yourself a favor and get that brownie in the tin! It has fudge in the middle! Then you add your ice cream of choice. Then dipping the spoon in the brownie fudge and ice cream is life changing! 😋🥰 the cookie dough is my favorite. It has ribbons of chocolate in it. So delicious! 🍪

It was really good I had a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie for the bottom cookie. And in the middle some espresso ice cream. And for the top cookie I had a red velvet cookie. With almonds all around the ice cream. I would have added some pics but I ate it too fast too take pics

Custom ice cream sandwiches and bowls that will leave you satisfied for days.The cookies are soft and melt in your mouth and the flavors of ice cream are sinful and hard to choose from. You cant go wrong with any combination.

They had a gluten free option for my wife which was so nice to run into. The prices were a bit higher than I anticipated although the portion was pretty decent.

The ice cream was delicious! Thick and creamy, and handmade! The service was courteous. It’s a small grab and go kind of place, but I recommend!

While the ice cream sandwiches are delicious, the customer service absolutely ruined the atmosphere. As a new customer, I was a bit confused on everything and none of the young workers assisted or questioned so. I didn’t even notice the other rack of cookies I could choose from, they seemed rather uptight and rude which made me feel awkward. The young girl and guy just kept glaring at each other and they seemed not at all happy to help with my order unlike other ice cream shops where their workers have bubbly attitudes. I understand if it’s been a hard day but there was no one else being served or inside the building except for me so it felt uncomfortable for them to react in a way.

Delicious desserts place! I tried the Bear Bowl with a chocolate chip cookie and the blue Bear Batter ice cream with infused brownies and sprinkles. I got crazy with the toppings and just loaded it with all the goodies. The whipped cream was really good, and their ice cream flavors were delicious. My friend tried the warm pressed ice cream cookie sandwich with cookies n cream mixed with salted caramel fudge & loved it! This definitely satisfied my sweets cravings!

We first tried this place in Temecula, CA and was excited to hear they were opening up in San Antonio. The portion was a decent size and pressed between two warm chocolate chip cookies. It wasn’t overly sweet and didn’t melt that fast. The place itself is tiny and has only 4 chairs to sit inside on a hot day, which kind of stinks. Seating outside helps though.Can’t wait to come back here to try more combos!

I had been looking forward to trying this place out ever since it opened. I was not disappointed. I ordered the gingerbread cookies with Bear brittle ice cream it was so delicious. I can hardly wait to go back and try another ice cream sandwich.

Cute and fun spot. I was expecting just an okay ice cream sandwich... but there was a variety of ice creams that werent your basic flavors and the same for the cookies! You also get to choose 2 different cookies for your sandwich if you want. They put a lot of ice cream so its not that easy to eat lol but will definitely be back again. 😁👌🏾

Whats not to like.. build your own ice cream sandwich! Definitely messy but worth it! At $7 its not an everyday kind of place but a special treat! They have different options like a sundae in a bowl of you want something less messy! You need to try this place!

Not many options. All American Cookies has more options. The cookie texture was as if the dough was previously frozen and then baked. I tried 3 flavors of cookies and all 3 had a strange taste and texture. Im sorry to have been unimpressed, especially after being so excited to finally visit. A plus is vegan ice cream is offered here.

Really great cookies and ice cream they have a pretty decent selection of cookies and flavors and the ice cream sandwiches are pretty big great for sharing if ur not too hungry. The cookies are really soft and they can somehow heat the cookie in the sandwhich? Ive never been brave enough to try it as they offer to heat it after its built and Im not sure how theyd keep the ice cream from melting? But a very delicious sandwich the snickerdoodle cookie and espresso ice cream are my favorite combination. But u can mix and match cookies and ice creams.

My Boyfriend and I went here for the first time last week and we loved this place! The cookies are killer and the service was amazing! We will DEFINITELY be coming back next time were in San Antonio!

Used to love going to the location in La Jolla! When I heard they finally came to Texas, I was super excited to go give them a try. They did not disappoint. The gooey butter cake cookies were incredible! The ice cream was rich and creamy, and my kids brownie bowls looked amazing! We loved every bite! ❤

Absolutely loved this place! We went for the grand opening, and the staff was very helpful and polite. We had never been to a baked bear before, and everyone was more than willing to explain the process to us. The ice cream was delicious, and getting the cookies hot pressed was a fantastic idea!! We will definitely be going back.

My son and I visited yesterday. I got the Gooey Butter Cookie with Cinnamon Road ice cream with hot caramel sauce. My son got a Brownie with cookie dough ice cream. They ran out of bottled water and that wouldve been great considering it was 100 degrees outside! There is minimal seating in the shop...like 4 chairs I think and maybe 1 table outside. I gave a 4 star rating because I thought the flavor combo of cinnamon ice cream and berries was weird. Price was good for the amount you get. We both did not finish what we got!. All staff was friendly and accommodating...we were given tiny plastic cups in order to get a cup of complimentary water.

The ice cream sandwiches are amazing! I really appreciate one of the employees noticing my fiance and I outside with our dog looking at the menu. He came outside to give us a paper menu and let us know that they are dog friendly. Very thoughtful and didnt go unnoticed, will definitely be back!

We came in close to closing, but the two young men (one was Elijah) were still enthusiastic enough to explain how it all worked for us newbies. We appreciated that! We had a very filling choco cookie/brownie outside with cookies n cream ice cream sandwich and it was enough to share (and they gladly cut it for you too!). The other two in the party give their sandwiches high marks as well. Overall a great experience!

This place is amazing! They have different cookie and ice cream options for you to build you sandwich and they also have toppings for when your sandwich is made. The shop is small so there isnt much inside or outside seating so be prepared to have to eat it standing up or walking to find a spot somewhere else.

The staff was slow, and frankly rude I had never been to a baked bear so I was a little confused on how it worked so the slow staff decided to give me attitude for being slow in the head so I guess retarded people ARE NOT WELCOME. It was unbelievably hot with little room to sit and they encourage you to get all these toppings to spend more money but than laugh and snicker at you making you feel like the fat girl in a strapless body con dress at prom. The ice cream was hard if they churn it than it was definitely over churned I got the cookies & cream cookie with mint chip ice cream the cookie crumbled into a million pieces my first bite so if you just have to go use a spoon and the mint chips were so hard I almost chipped a tooth and i think my cap came off sadly this was just way to over hyped and I WONT EVEN GET STARTED ON HOW STICKY EVERYTHING FROM THE FLOOR TO THE TABLES TO EVEN THE WINDOWS WERE!

Nice to be able to design your own ice cream sandwich. I had two chocolate chip cookies, and the mint chip ice cream, and it was awesome. The cookies are a good size, and they put a large amount of ice cream between them.

The concept is great. Make your own custom ice cream sandwich. I recommend the smores flavor.
