Always a lovely experience. Staff is super friendly and theyre always coming out with cool new flavors for their branded candies, which I appreciate. Also, licorice laces. Need I say more?Anyways, 10/10 if youve got some extra cash burning a hole in your pocket.

This place took 7 months to debit my card to the point i forgot about the charge. 7 plus months later they decided to hit my account. Be careful with them they will randomly charge your card when they feel like it vs that day

Love this little gem of a store! You arent likely to find anything cheap because even the little things can easily cost 15 dollars. Still,they have a lot of novelty candies and everything from chocolate covered chips to huge gummy worms!

Pretty sweet candy store. They have everything you could think of. Lots of different types of chocolate and lots of varieties of gummy’s. Candy from other parts of the world and they have fudge and other items in the case. We always try a new root beer every time we visit. They also have Sodas from other countries.

I very much love coming here I love trying the candies and chocolate but I definitely come here all the time for the lemonade the only thing I don’t like is that they sometimes take months and months to charge the debit card to the point where you forget about what you were charged for

If you are looking for a good candy store that has a large variety of sweets and drinks this is the place to go. Different candy from all around the world, along with that they always have an abundant array of truffle flavors, a bit expensive but they are still good.

The candy we bought was about 35$ for 1 and 1/4lb of candy and 2 truffles, and the quality was not equal to the price we paid. The gummy worms and gummy bears tasted the same as the prepackaged candy we get at a corner store and the chocolate peppermint pattys had no peppermint flavor to them at all. The truffles were dry and chalky and tasted like that had been sitting in the case for a while. Overall the quality was not worth the price and we felt we would have been better off grabbing candy from the gas station down the street from us.

They used to be more stocked up. Some of the chocolates were marked up too much and I found cheaper ones from the same brand literally a 5 minute drive from there. Pre covid they had a deal where you can fill up a jar and bring it back refill it at a good price .Well the jar was thick from the inside and expensive so they were essentially tricking you. Too expensive and can’t be trusted. The 1 star is for employees because they were hard. Although one lied to me and said they didn’t have gelatin in the sample gummies and when I went to buy it, I was told it had pork gelatin. I CANT eat pork.

You know, I’d give this place five stars. But the attitude of the little girl who shouted at me “Uh I’ll have to fill that up fo you if you’d give me a minute!!” Geez.. I haven’t been at this location since February (pre-Covid). No one told me the new rules! And she had to shout at me in front of ten, yes I counted ten customers. Way to go.. thanks. If she didn’t have the audacity to shout out me, I would’ve stayed and payed. I kindly left the chocolates on the counter and walked out.

This candy store is amazing. So many choices and special candies I cant find anywhere else. I really love their Gummy bears and rice crispy treats.As a baker this is an awesome place to get special candy to decorate with or to make special party favors.Definitely worth checking out and trying a few samples

I love love this place! Its amazing! I wish this was here when I used to live in San Antonio and worked at La Cantera. Its not that new anymore now though, but I still find this store to be one of the most amazing candy stores. I enjoy a wide variety of candy, and this store definitely delivers on the different types of candies. They have candy from around the world. I love the set up of the store as well.My favorite thing here is the gummy bears, they are gourmet and made with real fruit juices and they are twenty times softer than any other gummy bear Ive had. I love that you can select which ever flavor you like. They have a ton of flavors, but I love that I dont have to eat the other terrible flavors.The pricing is fair for being a candy specialty shop and they have great options. The staff is super friendly and nice. I love coming here brings out your childhood or the kid in everyone. When Im in town I always make the extra effort to come here and stock up on Gummy Bears. I wish there was one in Austin!!

Always fun to come and get a variety of candy/chocolates and gummy bears here.They have a pretty large selection of treats from all over so more than likely you will find something here to please your sweet tooth.It might be a little bit pricey but the quality of the Candies has always been high to me.My favorite so far would be the chocolate covered gummy bears and chocolate covered potato chips. But they have a huge selection of gummy bears from regular to drink mix flavors.

Wonderful place to stop and satisfy your sweet tooth. So many different options! However if you need a sugar free option, the only choice you have is sugar free gummi bears which you can get at HEB for a better price. They are pretty close to the parking lot, so not a lot of walking to get here.

The most amazing customer service ever. We went Saturday afternoon around 6 PM and everyone was so attentive and kind. We got the gallon bucket and I accidentally dropped the lid and before I could pick it up one of the employees asked for it to replace it. I mean WOW. its been a while since Ive had a positive experience and this place was top notch.

Amazing candy! Vintage and unique! They let you try the candy before buying and the prices aren’t bad considering the great customer service, quality and choices! You can also buy a lolli and pops jar and fill it with as much candy as you want. Bring it back on your next trip and you can fill it up again at a discounted price 😃 great place!

I go for the truffles, they make excellent gifts. They are pricey but to me you get what you pay for. I have never had anything else in the back of the store where the candy bins are, however i know the truffles are always fresh so i keep returning.

Now I know what it was like for the kids to tour Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. This place has every type of candy imaginable including favorites from Europe Mexico and Asia. Nostalgia and sugar rush become an overwhelming urge. The thing I found most captivating is the various rooms inside the store. As you walk through each room you will be stunned at the selections. GREAT GIFT IDEAS AND ADVENTURE. Thumbs up 💯

They have great candy, but sadly they have a small vegan section. I lost some money, and they did everything they could to help me. Fantastic service, I like it a lot.

My family and I frequently visited this shop and enjoyed the atmosphere and candy selection. We purchased a candy jar with a $5 fill up deal anytime we brought the jar in. My kids loved coming in and picking out some candy for their jar and I was happy to take them with the $5 deal. Now, yesterday (3/22/19) we went in to let the kids fill their jar. When we got to the counter, the employee rang us up and the total came up to $8.66. I mentioned that it was supposed to be $5 plus tax and the employee said oh yeah, they raised the price. Now, I understand that an extra $3 may seem like a small increase, but that is not what we were told when we purchased the jar. Over a 50% increase in price, when we were told it was $5 anytime we come in with the jar, is disappointing. We won’t be returning.

This is an amazing candy store! I wish they still had the better size refil jars, but its still a really fun place to shop. If you love Gummy Bears you have to come and get some from here. They also have a large assortment of other unique gummy candies, and chocolate.

When checking out, the cashier was on his phone so I didnt get greeted. After ringing me up, he extended his hand out for my card WITHOUT giving me the total (continuing his conversation). He then gives me my bag and receipt and does a silent thank you because I read his lips. I had my nephews with me so I didnt say anything, but I was boiling inside. I am the paying customer. You should put your phone down.

I havent been to a candy store in at least a decade, so I dont have a lot to compare it to. I liked their variety, but the employees kept nagging my friend and I, asking us if we needed anything literally every two minutes. One employee in particular must have asked us if we needed help a dozen times. I guess we must just look like candy-stealing hooligans. I bought a couple items, and the price was CRAZY high. A small bag of chocolates, an 8oz jar of bulk candy, two strips of Zotz, and three truffles is $40??? It seems like pretty high-quality stuff, but I dont know if Ill ever be back. Its not like they make everything from scratch.

While this store is pretty, well staffed with friendly employees and full of vintage, foreign and current treats....it is insanely expensive. I mean 7.50 for a small packet of cotton candy (I can buy a bag with 3 or 4 times the volume for a buck at the grocery store)? And 2.25 for a Clark bar that sells for 70 CENTS at the gas station? However, the prices are not my worst complaint. I bought two packages of candy (not by-the-pound varieties...13.00 a pound, BTW)...one was a lemon flavored hard candy and one was chocolate covered honeycomb. The combined price of these was nearly 22.00 and BOTH were so stale as to be inedible. I am not sure how long they have been sitting in that store, but my guess would be WELL over a year. So....while there is an impressive selection of candies and treats, it is a very disappointing outcome.

I love stopping here. Its as close to a Willy Wonka-style candy shop as youre going to find in 2018 in San Antonio.Candy really has fallen by the wayside. Youd think leading the nation in obesity and diabeetus would be great for the local candyman. But alas...I love to pop in for sasparillas and butter beers and cream sodas and the latest crazy Jones Soda flavor to use as whiskey mixers.Its always full of kids and young families with starry eyes and twitchy fingers aching to touch and noses to smell everything. Its a germy nightmare, but still. Even the shopkeepers are young and seem to have a passion for sugary treats.This place is the nouveau sweetshop. Patronize it. It needs to move down closer to Tiffany and Niemanns.I hope it lasts as long as the mall does.PS - If you own land within 2 Sq Mi of La Cantera, sell within the next 15 months.

This IS A CANDY STORE! I felt like I was in a movie the GIANT GOLD BEAR and the staff dressed like old timey candy store employees added to the allure of the stores layout and options! They have ALL kinds of candies stuff I have never seen before AND the truffle selection was amazing. I cannot wait to take my children here. They have a free rewards program and candy options I have never seen before from similar stores. By similar I mean the bag your own candy stores. Again this place blows those stores out of the water. If needed you can taste the chocolate prior to buying and everything I picked was fresh not old, hard, or lacking flavor. My new favorite item is sugared mango chips! WHHHHAT! Mango lovers rejoice! They also had champagne flavored Gummi bears! Stop it already!!! I am very impressed and will be buying a treadmill bc this place is easily accessible once inside the mall and not to far from my home! 10 stars! Now that Ive said all of this it is pricey $3.50 a quarter pound. I spent $10 total and am happy with the quality and quantity. P. S. and BTW I love candy :)
