Have been here twice now, great place to get a snack.. has been quiet both visits.. Service is fast, ice cream has great flavor, generous serving sizes and lots of items to choose from. Waffle cones are made fresh and smell amazing when you enter. A must try if you like matcha.

Love the variety available from soft serve to shaved ice to Maiko special and many more.Ive primarily tried the different soft serve swirls previously. Love the limited ube/matcha swirl. Today, I decided with all matcha swirl with mochi. My husband has tried the shaved ice before. Today, he tried the Maiko special which seems to be a Japanese version of the Filipino halo halo. He said it had matcha cake!Dont forget to ask for the stamp card. One stamp per visit!There are more menu items to try like floats and matcha latte.Definitely a refreshing stop any time!

Came on a Saturday night for some dessert. Heard about this place a few times, but was skeptical after living in Japan for many years and knowing authentic soft serve ice cream and authentic matcha from places such as Kumamoto. Many times places will advertise matcha, but its basically matcha flavoring and not real matcha. However, you could taste the real matcha in their soft serve.It was about half full, but was able to place my order and find a table quickly and easily. Ordered the Maiko Mixed Special and the Matcha soft serve in a waffle cone. The Maiko Mixed Special is half matcha and half ube soft serve served with a little bit of everything from adzuki beans, boba, cake, coconut sauce, frosted flakes, etc... I was impressed with the consistency of soft serve as thats very hard to reproduce, but even more impressed with the matcha. Both were very authentic. As far as the overall taste, all the different flavors and textures went well together.If youre not in the mood for all the different flavors and just want to taste the match soft serve, then the soft serve in the waffle cone is the best option. You simply get the matcha taste in a warm waffle cone. The waffle cone is made in front of you by one dedicated person. The waffle was as fresh as can get and had a nice crunch to complement the soft serve.Overall, this is the best and authentic matcha Ive had in San Antonio. I will come back to try other things on the menu, but was impressed with them replicating authentic soft serve and using authentic matcha.

I love this place! They have hot matches and iced, frappe. They also serve matcha ice cream. This place is unique and sets itself apart from similar cafés because it serves Hojicha which is a smokey green tea thats sweet and has less the 10mg of caffeine. You can add cheese cream to any of your drinks which is nice along with chocolate if youre a chocolate matcha fan. I highly recommend trying the different menu options.

Went for the first time early April a d was blown away by the Maiko special! Delicious match soft serve with amazing toppings. Went back a week later and was disappointed with the same order. The soft serve was still full of matcha flavor but the quality of the soft serve was degraded. It tasted as if the soft serve had melted slightly and been re-frozen with small ice crystals. Very disappointed especially after our recent amazing experience. Averages out to a 4 star.The cheese frosting was interesting and unique and the mango smoothie delicious. I asked for 50% sweetness and at that level it was still a little too sweet for me... however, i am not sure if it was prepared at 50% or not.Hopefully my next visit will revert to the original experience.

I love coming here to get my matcha fix, not only is this an actual Japanese chain so you get that good good but the staff here are so nice and attentive!

By far the best place for a matcha drink I have had in San Antonio. The closest thing I have had to taste such treats was in Tokyo, Japan. From Boba teas to ice cream this place has something to keep you coming back for more.

Came in on a Thursday night a little after 8pm, was welcomed and questions I had were answered. I was boring and ordered the mix cone, I was not disappointed, it was so tasty. You can really taste the matcha and ube in the ice cream.I can’t give them 5 stars because they asked people to exit the dining room just a couple minutes after 9. I understand they have to clean and such when they close but you had customers that just receive their stuff and had to eat it outside while standing. Customer service is very important to me and is the deciding factor if I return to a place.

The Matcha here is absolutely delicious! If I may say I do not like the location, but the staff were welcoming and I really liked that the cafe is spacious. Very clean and bright. Our Matcha drinks and soft served were ready in no time!One thing I would recommend to the cafe is LARGER Large cups. PLEASE. I really loved and enjoyed the iced Matcha Latte!

The Matcha ice cream is too die for!! Good flavor of matcha and its very smooth. My favorite is the mix cone with a little mochi stick. Their lychee is soo good its a must half but I like to get with only half sugar. The workers are so friendly and will answer any questions you have. Is a must visit!!! 💚💚💚💚

So I now know I absolutely dont like Matcha. I went for their new donuts but were told it was a couple hours before they had any delivered. 3 couples had the same idea and turned around and walked out. Very bad business practices if you ask me. Thats the only reason for 4 stars. I didnt want to knock em just because I dont like Matcha. Too bad Ill never return to try their donuts.

Delicious Japanese Matcha tea ice cream!! One of favorite places for ice cream, it always very clean. Waffle cones are made fresh when you order, and you can smell it when you come in. The menu has good variety of icecreas, teas and lattes. Definitely have to try it.

I am a regular client here, I love their matcha ice cream cone so much but lately the cones themselves are brittle and break before I can even finish my cone. The cone in general was not made well today at all, it seems like the employees do not know what they are doing. I don’t know if they’re new but this cafe was not this way before.

We ordered the matcha/vanilla swirl, the mochi boat with cheese sauce and the cheese matcha latte. I’m not a big matcha fan. But my gf loved everything! The ice cream was good.

I’ve tried (separate occasions) the maiko special - if you’re familiar with filipino desserts, this is like the concept of halo halo, but with Japanese ingredients! Delish! Also the Ube/matcha mix ice cream waffle cone, matcha latte with matcha ice cream on top, and much more! I can say with confidence everything was delicious and worth the money. Thank you!!

I’m a frequent customer and have always loved matcha Maiko but today i ordered 2 watermelon cheese slush & found hairs in my slush. When i asked the employees why they don’t wear hair nets she just said “we wear caps” but yet all 3 employees had bangs in their face. I will not be returning anymore until this situation gets resolved about the hair nets.

Been here twice already with my little ones and both times were a great experience from food to customer service! Had their matcha lattes with boba, the matcha drink itself was delicious and not gritty unlike other matcha drinks I’ve tried in other cafes, It was smooth and very fine and the boba was the perfect texture, I hate boba tapiocas that are not cooked enough.Also got their ice cream and their new mochi donuts from mochinut_sa!!! All I ordered was perfect!! They were tasty and texture is just right! Both my kids and I loved it! Definitely will be coming back here often! The ambiance was also good.The only thing I would suggest is if they can install a changing table in their restroom for little ones. That will make parents life easier when they bring their little ones for a treat! and high chairs as well I didn’t see one if there is.. But I still give it a 5 ⭐️ because it’s just that good! :)

Wow this place is amazing, highly recommend for any matcha lover!!The iced matcha latte was so creamy and not overly sweet.I also tried the Kokuto Matcha Cream which was amazing. Kokuto is brown sugar harvested from sugar cane and is one of the best sugars you can put in your diet. The way the Kokuto jelly easily breaks apart as you sip from your straw gives a texture similar to Aloe Vera.Initially I ordered hot matcha latte and she accidentally made me a iced latte. I told her it was fine due to the fact that I’m in the same field of business. The point of saying this is, even if there is a miscommunication don’t let it stop you from trying amazing places like this. This place is so worth it.Sincerely,your fellow matcha enthusiast

Really wanted to like this place, 1st visit was great. 2nd was awful. Never got my drink after 20 minutes of waiting (there were 2 other people, but they arrived after me) and was refused a refund after I had received nothing. I showed nothing but patience and was treated coldly for it. Contacted main website and they havent responded after a week so the not caring goes all the way to the top.

Went here with my friend and it was everything I loved for a matcha lover! Great selection of hot and cold drinks with both matcha and Hojicha(roasted tea) flavors,and matcha and vanilla ice cream! (if its your first time they let you have a sample of their ice cream)The place was spacious,clean,the workers were nice and they even played Japanese/anime songs😆 cant wait to visit again to try the other menu items💞🍵

Fantastic! I got the maiko special parfait. So many layers of goodness. Husband got the hojicha latte and it was nice and earthy. The kid got the mixed soft serve and she loved it.

This place is so so yummy! They have a unique menu with a plethora of different matcha options that will keep you wanting to come back to try something new every time. The staff is always very polite and the store itself is never too busy so you can always come in for a treat while maintaining social distancing guidelines! I love this cafe!

Pricey but good! This is definitely the best matcha in town! The rich flavors of green tea standout in their ice cream and make this a definite ice cream stop in the warm months. Their other drinks and treats are sure to wonderful. Additionally, the facilities are very clean and decorated beautifully. I the only reason fro 4 stars is the price. I understand why it is expensive but wish they had a punch card or rewards program to make the money more worth it! The staff here is always friendly as well.

Some of the best Matcha drinks and ice cream Ive had in a while! Im not usually a fan of jelly in my drinks but I gave theirs a try and I am glad I did, it was amazing. I recommend this cafe to everybody in the San Antonio area. I will definitely be coming back soon!Edit: One year later and I wish I could give them 6 stars! Still the best matcha in town. Im excited to see more drink variety, weekend specials as well as pop ups in the cafe as they gain in popularity! I recently had the limited time Honey Mountain Bread and it was absolutely amazing! The employees were nice and helpful and even offered a sample of the matcha soft serve. The shop itself was very spacious and bright and the float was tasty. Looking forward to returning again.

Highest quality matcha around. Definitely worth the price for some dank matcha. Offers lactose free options like soy milk. Would like more sugar free or low sugar drink options if possible, otherwise REALLY AWESOME. No other place compares when it comes to serving matcha flavored desserts.
