We ordered Picaddily, Mangonada,Changi and cookies and Cream ice cream and the only thing that was good was the ice cream. Everything else went in the trash. Sorry for our honesty but were in San Antonio where we never have a bad experience when we come here on vacation. I guess theres always a first. We need another Chango Loco closer to the north side. Thank you San Antonio youre a BEAUTIFUL city!!!

Stopped here for some quick refreshments. Their shave ice is amazing, somehow its super creamy and packed with flavor, including fruit bits. I got a large mango shave ice, and it was like eating a mango smoothie, light and very flavorful. Theyve got ice cream and lots of other options as well

Definitely a hidden gem, we passed by here unexpectedly. The sweet treat is a must try for anyone loves Mexican ice. I wish I have some ice box to bring back home with me!

A great place. Really good agua frescas, chicharrón, raspados, and fruit cups. They also have Italian shaved ice which is really good, too. With purchases over 19 bucks, you can get a free cup, so that is cool. Overall, its a fun place to be with the family, on a date, or with friends.

Corn cups are yummy.No fresh mango in my mangonada.😪$1 extra for fresh mango.Too much chamoy for me.Popsicles start at $1.They have a restroom in the back if u need to washup.

One of our favorite impromptu date spots as well as family time locations to take our nieces and nephews! We had them cater for our wedding. Best mangonadas in town and staff is SO friendly. Would love it if they started selling margaritas 🤣🤣 The only thing I wish they would consider updating is their chicharrones. They are wheat based not pork skin and that’s a bummer. Still love this place though!!

Its been a long, long while since our first visit and Las Nieves has grown - looks like they have expanded to locations at Thousand Oaks and Blanco and there are so many options to cool you off on a hot day!The one initial downside was the long line that didnt seem to move for a while. They now have Italian ice which was more like a sorbet texture. Thats what my husband and I both got. Glad to know that you can have 2 flavors in a medium so I got the pina colada and mango. My husband got the mango and cherry. Mango had bits of fresh mango and the pina colada had bits of coconut. Very refreshing! Was most definitely worth the wait!Theres a bunch of picnic tables under a canopy for people to enjoy their desserts.I was curious about the raspa with ice cream so well definitely have to go back.Its cool that they also bring the desserts to your party.

This place isn’t just your standard raspa stand. They combine the smooth, almost creamy, texture of Italian ice mixed with the vibrant Mexican flavors like Chamoy and Lucas. Not only that, but they mix the flavor you choose throughout the ice so there’s flavor in every bite! I usually get the Limon loco where they mix chamoy in with the ice and it’s delicious. I’ll get a large (it’s a good portion) and eat half and freeze the rest, it actually keeps really well in the freezer and still keeps it’s texture! They also have a large selection of other ice cream, paletas, and various snacks like hot cheetos and cheese, fruit cups, and elote. Everything I’ve had there has been super delicious. Definitely give this place a try if you haven’t already. Altamente recomendado!

Fun friendly place to get cooled off! Delicious respados. Had the coconut with Chamoy and the mango loco. Family had watermelon with Tajin, and pina with Chamoy. All were delicious. I will visit when Im in town! Lots of ice creams to choose from also... though Ill never try any because their ices are so good!

I absolutely love coming here when I can. They have really improved their location by adding seating and more parking. A couple more fans would be wonderful but once you get your food you immediately feel refreshed and cooled down. No matter where you are this is worth the trip!

I love this place! The corn in a cup is super tasty and everything is absolutely delicious. Also, really affordable and reasonable prices. The sizing is pretty odd since small differs from one item to another. I highly recommend this place for a pit stop!

Fruit not cold enough and they take to long when taking your order.

Be prepared for a wait but it’s worth it. They have all the good snacks with a place to sit in the shade and enjoy them.

The italian ice is the BEST! I love the coconut, lime and strawberry. Im sure the other stuff is good too but I cant bring myself to stay away from the Italian ice.

Corn in a cup is my Go-To when coming here. The shaved ice can have more chamoy & chili seasoning for the sizes they have. Agua frescas are a must try when parched on a hot sunny day. The wait is worth it.

Cool place that stays open a littler later than. most. staff had a bit of an attitude but it was late. chicharrones are not the real ones but the corn was good and so was the ice cream

The people are very nice and the place is well kept, good place to relax on a hot summer day. However I was not impressed with the mangonada. I ordered a large mangonada, it is a large cup filled with mango shaved ice but it had very little chamoy and Lucas sprinkled on top. The entire cup only has shaved ice and on the top they leave about a 2 inch pocket and fill that with chamoy. I ran out of chamoy barely halfway through it. So if they improve their chamoy to shaved ice ratio, add more Lucas and put some fresh mango chunks too then I would go back. For now I have no plans on returning.

Super good place... had a craving for something sour and the chango hit the spot.. it was sour and delicious.. would have liked it more spicy but it was still super good..

Always have the freshest fruits and taste. They have something for everyone! Mind you, you may have to wait a bit, due to COVID-19 they are serving a bit slower with what appears to be less staff. Nevertheless, its delicious and with the wait.

The Italian ice here is really good. Everything is very well priced and tastes great. Sometimes the lines are long, but once you get to the front of the line, service is pretty quick. There is only outdoor seating in this location.

Ive been to the Blanco and Hilderbrand locations and Nieves is hands down the best places for every treat! I love to go and try different spots, but once I went to Nieves I stopped looking around. Best Italian ice. their corn in a cup is the best in SA! Be careful cause it can be spicy,but thats what makes it the best! If you want extra chamoy or anything you just need to let em know and they got you for free! Keep up the good job!

Awesome place havent eaten this stuff in a while. Being a heart and cancer survivor I have to watch what I eat. I started off with a soft serve cherry raspa, then received a cucumber, Lucas and lemon cup followed with a big juicy pickle. Omg I was in heaven. Great customer service and done with a smile. I love this place. Their raspas are really good.

The line is always long but they usually have the TV on with Americas Funniest videos. Its entertaining that you dont really notice the wait time. I personally just go for the shaved ice. The melon one doesnt taste as sweet as the other ones. Good for the price.

It was ok but my fruit cup was ehh tiny bits of watermelon and the fruit was not very fresh it was slimy n yucky

Ive been coming here for a couple of years, but always want to keep it a secret because I love it so much. Shaved fruit cups all the way! I cant necessarily speak for the other items on the menu since its the fresh shaved fruit that keeps me coming back. I consider Las Nieves a San Antonio must have. Now you know!

I ordered the fruit cup with mango strawberries and watermelon.the strawberries were a mixture of sour and old strawberries. The mangos were green and hard. The watermelon was the only thing that tasted fresh. They also charged me more than what it says on the menu.
