This Shipley donuts is awesome. They have the best donuts hands down. Much better than dunkin donuts and crispy creme. This is my one and only donuts shop.

This is one of the best donut shops around. The donuts are still the same size as they should be when other shops keep downsizing their donuts. Even though its a donut chain, Shipley Do-Nuts are great!

This is the best Shipleys in San Antonio. Customer service is on point, great selection of donuts and kolaches. This particular Shipleys has a variety of smoothies & iced coffee - so far the only Ive found that has the melon flavored one.

First time trying donuts here. Not great. Blueberry cake was greasy and not much flavor. Boston filling was bland. Frosted cinnamon roll overpriced. Not a fan of walnuts, prefer other nuts on donuts. Disappointing donut experience.

Ask for a plain chocolate donut with out glaze or chocolate frosting n according to them they don’t make none!! It was early in the morning and I decided to get donuts, the donuts were amazing, yet nobody moved with a sense of urgency, It took them 2min. To get my donut that was already made.

The person that assisted me was too distracted with the people that walked in after I was being helped, she must have known them. This location is always running low on doughnuts, tables and the area where you get your sugar is dirty and the staff is not always friendly.

Shipley’s is a Texas institution. Their plain glazed, even a couple of hours old, is better than anything from Dunkin’. I recommend their plain cake with a cup of coffee. Just about the best thing you can have!

I love Shipleys. But their kolaches on Potranco need to be improved because they use an excessive amount of bread. Ive had times where I have to remove large chucks of bread because the sausage is nowhere to be found. If you want amazing kolaches go the Bandara Shipleys. Amazin!!!!!!!

Shipleys is a magical, no nonsense doughnuts place. They waste no time or money attempting to be fashionable, just pure delicious doughnuts and kolachies. The service is fast and very affordable. They also serve coffee and other items.

I had reviewed this place 6 months ago and have given at 4 star rating but yesterday went there and the young lady with the acne was so horribly rude to my wife and I. We went thru the drive-thru and my wife had a big smile on her face as she was placing her order, the young lady did not even move her face in response, just a what would you like? in the most dead pan delivery I have ever heard...this is awful! If you dont like your job then step aside and let someone who needs it do it.

The service here is horrible, the young lady doesnt care about their customers. This is the 2nd time we have experienced this type of service in 6 months. We were on vacation from Dallas heading to Sea World both times and we will never stop at this location again.

Went to buy cream filled donuts, these were some of the worst Ive had. Almost no cream at all in more than one I had. Very dissappointed! The apple fritters were good tasting but hardly any filling. Need to improve by putting more filling in your donuts.

Variety of donuts but the manager seemed so annoyed when i asked her if she could put the donuts in a box so that they wouldnt stick together. She seemed snotty and and made my first time here unpleasant. Wont be back to this location.

I have gone a few times to this location and the donuts have been stale. When called to complain about the donuts the person on the phone said well dont eat the 🍩. Will definitely not go back to this location.

A fun shop for a donut

Ordered the standard ham and cheese kolaches only to find they were terrible. There is practically little to no cheese inside. The so called cheese looked like the generic queso dip you buy from HEB only chunkier(think cottage cheese clumpy). I went at like 6:15 in the morning(they open at 5am), the kolaches werent fresh at all. 2 Stars only because I was in and out within a min of ordering. If you want quality Shipleys, hit up the Bandera and Grass hill location. Been going there for 15+ years and never had a problem there.
