I come here once a week because the smoothie bowls are amazing. In opinion, best smoothie bowls I’ve had in the city.Now the problem is, the service is not great at all. I typically order online to save time but something was different today. I went to the front, told them I was there to pickup. Had to wait, no biggie. Then the wait turned to one hour. They apparently had no idea I was there despite interacting with someone. I love this place but the service has me questioning returning since when it’s bad, it’s real bad.

Oh Rise up. I really wish you would rise up. Their acai bowls and coffee are absolutely fabulous. You can order online and customize it and it’s fabulous! I absolutely love the PB one and add in protein powder. What kills me is the service. Yikes. It’s unfortunate because their food is just as good as their service is bad. Sometimes I’ll get lucky, when it’s pretty quiet, and will get my food 10-15 minutes after ordering. But most of the time, I order online, they estimate my food to be ready in 20 minutes and it comes out 40 minutes later. I’m not sure if they only have one blender, but me and the other 5-10 people waiting in line with their arms crossed aren’t impressed. So definitely give it a try- I just would order before you get hungry because you’ll be starving by the time it’s ready.

Food is always good. Service sucks. Ordered a bowl at the same time as a friend. She got hers, I got to wait 30 minutes extra from the time I ordered. By the time I got mine my friend was done. Super.

This place is so cute! I ordered the breakfast açaí bowl and it was delicious. I just wish mine came with some strawberries instead of double the banana. The chick who worked there was really nice and cool! Definitely will be back!

I ABSOLUTELY love this Açaí bowl place. Coming from Hawai’i, I thought I wouldn’t be able to find one that rivals what I had back home. I legit went all over San Antonio and Austin trying different places….this is the one that has become my go to place ! I always get the AB bowl with added stuff.The workers are always amazing and sweet! I’m always buying the stickers they’re selling 🤣I’m moving away from San Antonio so I’m def going to miss this place !

I knew this place was going to be good when my brother (someone who doesnt eat fruits or vegetables) told me I HAD to go here while I was in town.These acaí bowls did not disappoint! So much flavor. Huge portions. Fresh ingredients. Great spot for any meal.The space itself is very open. Nothing too fancy on the inside; but that doesnt take away from the experience.Do yourself a favor and grab yourself a bowl!

This store skips over customers, not because of their online orders, but because they are unorganized and rude. I voiced that we didnt recieve our order 3 times over 30 minutes and other customers got theirs in five minutes, who came in after us. Terrible service.

The customer service here is always awful. We have been here so many times and every time it is a problem. Today was the last time we will come back. We have ordered this same bowl and ALWAYS do unsweetened açaí. See the attached photo of the receipt. They refused to do unsweetened açaí, didn’t tell us when handing the bowl (it was take out) and waited for us the unravel the rolled receipt and discover it once we got home.

Terribly slow. It shouldn’t take 30 mins to make 2 açaí bowls. Whoever is managing this place needs to hire more staff.

Good bowls but insane waiting. Takes longer than a fancy steakhouse to get your order. Ive been here maybe 10 times and I order way in advance online and still have to wait sometimes. Order this one at 10:29 and Im still waiting at 11:10.

I love this place, but would really like to see it practice better environmental friendliness. Having a “for here” option of reusables would help a lot, as lots of people hang out and eat in the shop. The disposal bins are blue, which makes it seem like everything is being recycled, but the plastics going in them are dirty and they’re followed by napkins and coffee cups, which must go to landfill. So, good food. Cool environment. Long wait times. We can do better for our community!

Good spot for Acai but I think the atmosphere can improve! Waited more than 25 minutes for an açaí and they didn’t look busy’.Definitely give it a try!!

Great product but bad service, even to pick up your order, it takes a very long time (even when you order ahead) not to mention, that as soon as you arrive, there’s never anyone by the register.

HOW have I not been here? I was so busy inhaling my vegan Jade bowl, I did not care that I left my phone at the house! Everything here is vegetarian with most selections vegan. Than you to my friend, Duane for bringing me here. Staff was gorgeous and so was my cool breakfasf bowl! Ill be back!

Love the acai bowls here and today I had the most darling worker who was just so polite! With her recommendation I got the luau bowl and it was delicious! I will be coming back and thank you to the employee, I think her name was Ashley? What a sweetheart. See you all again soon!

The bowls are good. It seems like they are skimping on the amount of food they give you. They do need to do a better job about the wait time after you order. No one was in there. No reason we should have waited 30 minutes for two bowls. Ridiculous.

I got the chocolate bowl and added almond butter and pineapple on top. Also got the bulletproof coffee but, I wanted it cold and that was dumb on my part because it just solidified the butter haha. Been here a few times and it never disappoints!

First time here. The bowls are a really good size for the price. I ordered the PB bowl..amazing! The store is really quaint and clean. My only complain and reason why I rated 4 instead of 5 stars is the time it took to prepare the bowls. It was like a 15 minute wait ..a little too long if you ask me. The staff was really nice though. Not sure that I’ll go back or just stick to another açaí place that I go to.

You all should really share with customers ahead of time the small cup that the nearly $10 smoothies come in and the wait time seems to be a issue

I got the luau bowl. It was very tasty & the texture was great. The only thing I didnt love was how long it took to get it. It was about 20 minutes before my order was ready, which I did not expect. I recommend if you go, order ahead of time & then hopefully it will be ready when you get there. Over all though, I thought it was really good.

Not Favor friendly and this should definitely be addressed. As a runner, I should not be forced to create an online account with my personal information to place an order for our customers.

Do not order their coffee. They should stick to bowls, although the Cupid bowl was watery. The bulletproof drip coffee I ordered today tasted like actual drip tap water. Don’t believe me, just ask my wife. We couldn’t even drink it.

I love this spot! Aloha Pitaya Bowl is my go to and always awesome. Staff is always friendly as well. Question - Did you downsize your portions? I could swear the bowls look much smaller than before. If so, will you downsize the price as well?

We called in and were greeted politely... but quickly and sternly told to order online.Which we already knew and attempted but again it was not working at that moment.We eventually used another source and finally placed our order online and received confirmation. Which gave us an estimated pickup time of 40 min!!?!?!We ordered smoothies and a bowl...... Not a pizza (which is usually delivered in 30 min or less) . And our order still took longer than the estimated time we were given and verbally confirmed for. Even after 40 mins. Really? We are out of towners... So were unaware of the pickup process as well.. Of calling in to inform of your parking spot and your name to have the order brought to your vehicle.I hope this smoothie and bowl is worth the wait, the price, and the confusion.

Some of the best Acai bowls I’ve ever had. My favorite one to get here is the AB bowl which has Almond Butter, strawberries, granola and almond milk.They also have great customer service! I suggest calling in your order before getting there since the line can get pretty long, especially on weekends.Also if you’re into food blogging, this place is perfect for photos/food photography. Cute wallpaper and interiors!

Best bowl I’ve ever had... by a mile!! I love Rise Up and go every chance I get. I recently moved out of town but it’s always the first place I stop when visiting SA. The PB bowl is out of this world, add blueberries!! It is my favorite food/meal on earth and I’d definitely still eat it every day if I lived there. Super convenient & easy to use app! Nice employees and ambiance! The owner is there quite often, which makes a difference & means a lot to me. Highly recommend!

The bowl I got was good BUT I found plastic in mine so just be cautious when eating it idk how they make it maybe it was a piece of the blender i got the AB acai bowl with pineapple on top the health department was there when we got there so idk if that has anything to do with it as well

Great tasting acai bowls, friendly staff, and still open during COVID! Curbside pickup was pretty quick and totally worth it.

Really like the food. As is typical in San Antonio service and hospitality could use improvement. A smile, a hello or welcome would have been a plus. Maybe even an enjoy when the food is served. I get the feeling that since you pay when you order their part is over and done.

The health inspection “score” was not visible for the customers at this location. This was concerning to me because the floors looked liked they had not been swept in months and the restroom had flies. While the açaí bowl was alright, the cleanliness of this establishment was definitely questionable. Other açaí establishments do not have a location as disgusting as this one.

Loved my bowl. The girl with all the tattoos, I think she might be the manager, is absolutely amazing! You may have to wait a minute but what else do you expect...its art. Will come back and tell my friends about it!

I am not a huge fan of the food here, so I cant give it a great rating on its setup and location alone, but it does those two greatly. Personally I would much rather sit in a suspended couch than a chair anytime, and this is something I can do there. Along with it being right next to Alamo Heights (a place we frequent) it is a great stop for those who enjoy the Acai bowls.

Ive had the PB and the Cupid. Both were fresh, delicious, and well put together. It has kind of a small coffee shop feel to it. Look for parking around the side of the building!

This place has delicious acai bowls, food, juice, smoothies and coffee. Its a spacious dining area that has plenty of seating. The reason I gave them 4 stars is because the add ins are slightly expensive. To add protein is $3 dollars. Their counterpart up the street is only $1. Also parking is limited and a slightly frustrating at times, but overall worth it.

Im with the last person who complained about the phone service and online ordering. I had the exact same experience. Whatever girl is answering the phone is rude. Rise Up has just lost another customer. Its unfortunate because I really like Acai bowls.

They have a Horrid curbside system. You have to order online, and the times given are wrong. Maybe if you could order by phone the customer could be told of long wait times. Waited over 35 minutes for ONE non-customized bowl. Never again.

Great food but TERRIBLE TERRIBLE AND I MEAN TERRIBLE customer service. i have had multiple occasions of the worst customer service from here possible. they aren’t helpful and act very annoyed if you ask a question. it’s like they hate working here or something.

Best bowls in San Antonio, hands down. They were named Best Breakfast in town by San Antonio Magazine, and rightfully so. I visit at least once a week. The Cupid bowl is my favorite but I’ve tried almost every bowl and they’re all so good. Healthy + tasty 💕✨

We love the Acai bowls and smoothies here. Close to home so we walk there. They even have an app for online ordering. Only thing they are missing is a loyalty/rewards program.

The ambiance was nice, good music. Most importantly the acai bowls looked delicious and good size. I had the Coffee Bear smoothie and it was great.

First timers might wanna try the AB (almond butter) Bowl. It’s such a balanced dish, with granola, bananas and strawberries topping a velvety and sweet acai mixture over more delicious granola waiting for you at the bottom. My only regret is eating it too fast.

Always a favorite. The food is so good, but always so healthy. It is one of the few restaurants where you will feel better and healthier after eating the food!

This place has a variety of yummy items to eat. They have delicious acai bowls with several variations to try. And if you want even more substance, you can add protein powders although for some people (like me) a bowl is a meal all in itself as theyre very filling. They also serve pitaya bowls, which Im not a fan of because I think theyre too sweet. There are also different caffeinated drinks like coffee and matcha lattes. They also carry an assortment of prepared food from Pharm Table like energy bites, vegan cheesecakes, salads and soups. If you are vegan and avoid honey, you need to make sure to ask without honey or pollen. Also be aware that the granola is not gluten free. The one downside to this place is that sometimes the wait time is quite long so order ahead if youre in a rush. But if you have some free time the location has many tables and chairs as well as swings to relax while you wait. Its a great place for the whole family. The prices are high (around $9 a bowl) but you feel good afterwards and healthy food tends to be more expensive if not made at home.

Placed an order online and recieved an email confirmation and now I have been sitting here 30 minutes still waiting for my order. Piss poor customer service and excuses! Would give them a -5 stars, but minimum is 1 star.

This is my favorite spot. I love their chocolate açaí bowls! They have a good price for the bowls. You can call in your order in advance, or order through the app, especially during the weekends.

Very poor customer service to be honest very young unexperienced workers . My first time and it was not a positive one the bowls are great just didnt expect such long wait.

Wish i could give negative stars! im thinking they must be growing the ingredients...cause 45 minutes waiting and still nothing....if u have two hours to waste and your willing to spend the 1st hour starving and thirsty then this is the place for you otherwise avoid.

Went there to get a cappuccino. I waited about 15 mins before getting back in line to get a refund.Nobody can up to the coffee bar so either the ticket never got sent to the back or too busy doing something else.

The açai bowl was pretty good. However, they forgot about our coffee and once it was prepared, it was very poorly done

Okay. Its delicious- the AB bowl is legitimately the citys best acai. But- why does it ALWAYS take 45 minutes or more?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!!? If they could speed up the process they could take over the world.
