I love going to this place. It has so many selections of candies and snacks. They also have bulk items for anyone selling for fundraisers or snack carts. This place has it all. I highly recommend visiting at least once. Youll feel overwhelmed at first but every section has particular candy. You have sour belts, spicy candies, sweet candies, cotton candy, nacho items,Pinata and etc. Below is just one shelf of items.

This bag of Chamoy had 3 packets that were fully leaked and 2 packets not fully sealed at the top (didnt leak too much though). Bag was inside this clear container with a cover, that was between bubble wrap, that was inside a non-damaged box. I somehow feel this mess was known when it was packaged. One star off for the mess and another for deliberately sent like this. The Chamoy was super delicious though.EDIT: I added a star cause the owner tried to rectify the situation. I didnt contact back cause Im not fussin too much over 3 little packs though, but thanks.

I’ve been buying this candy brand for so many years and have never been disappointed. It was awesome to finally be able to check out their store location. Even with the mass crowds and what seemed like hundreds of different brands of candy the entire store was clean and shelves were stocked. After loading up some boxes full of this candy I still am not tired of them, I just love their candy and will continue to eat it

Great store!! Dont forget to go during the week if possible, weekends can be tough when trying to find a parking space. Everyone is nice and helpful. Selections are great. A lot of stuff I have not seen since I was a kid in the 60s! Give them a try 😉

Great selection of candy. Sold in bulk. Great for parties and piñatas. Pinatas sold here. Colorful paper sold in bulk to make piñatas. Cute novelties also sold. Rock candy on wooden sticks sold in several colors. Mini chocolate balls in assorted colors. Syrup for snowcones sold. Mixtures for margaritas. Salt to put on rim of drinks. Mixtures of salt and seasoning for elotes and fruit. So much more. A must see. 👌

This place was incredible. Wish I wasnt flying home or I would have bought 5 times as much. Every kind of candy you can imagine - standard fair along with Asiaan and tons of unique Mexican candy and snacks. Cant wait to go with the whole family someday.

Wow what a place. They literally have almost anything and everything you want and the prices are not bad either.

Alamo candy always makes you feel welcomed. I have walked into this place several times a minute before they are about to close and I am welcomed and even helped out to my car with everything. This place makes you feel like family. I highly recommend the store if you need supplies for an event.

Pros: Huge candy selection. Buy in bulk or smaller portions. They also have miscellaneous items like small pinatas, Mexican sticks, t-shirts, drinks, box of masks, little baby shower section in the back the list goes on. Prices are good.Cons: They dont require masks & theres no way you can stay 6ft apart. Its so packed all the time. It smells really bad. The parking lot is a mess. Ice cream trucks go there to buy stuff or other business vans & the lot is definitely too small. Leaves it hard to back out when people are turing in. So be careful about that.Will be back. Definitely recommend. In all great place to find treats & things for parties or bulk. 🍫🍬🍭🅿️😷🤘

This place offers a variety of traditional Mexican candy - I enjoy walking the isles here on a slow day. The staff are very helpful. I can spend over $100 here very easily; however, I don’t visit that often as it is a drive from where I reside.Six feet is enforced and masks are required - parking could be more convenient, but nonetheless, great quality and amazing prices for the quantity.

Good quality candy but staff are not very friendly. With the exception of one lady with shoulder length black hair. She was very helpful and kind.

Love the new location. Much easier to find what you are looking for. The parking situation, however, isnt any better than the old location.

I ordered online and had it shipped to my house in Denton, TX and of the 7 items I ordered 1 bag was ripped and contents were spilled in the box. I emailed immediately and it took about week for them to get back to me and wanted pictures of the box when I opened it... well that was a week ago its not still sitting there with food in it. So I sent pictures of the bag that was ripped and she said it looked like It was cut open and she knew she didnt send it to me like that. Why would I waste my time to get 1 free bag of Chinese candy?! I dont live in SA anymore so I usually place a large order twice a year but I will not any longer. Bad customer service.Why would I keep food that had busted open in a box? Naturally I threw it away. I dont know about you but I dont leave open food laying around my house.

Great selection of candy and treats. Always use for parties/ gatherings or just to stock at the house. They have pinatas, Mexican candy, ice cream, raspa set ups, decorations, shirts and so much stuff. It’s in bulk so it’s great for when kids are home for summer. Highly recommend. Also they recently moved to a larger location for more selection.

Love it! They recently changed locations and this one is even better than the last. Huge variety of candy, and their housemade candy is the best!!

They’re not even open on Sundays anymore. They need to update their business hours. We went last Sunday and they had a hand written sign on the door saying they were closed for the day, and we went today and again another hand written sign saying they closed early. Like geez! What’s going on, some people really take a drive out here just to bring you business, the least you could do is update your hours so you don’t waste our time.

Alamo Candy is a unique candy store. This store is more tailored to Mexican Candies. From spicey candy to just plain sweet candies. They have piñatas, sodas, pickles, American candy staples as well. The store is busy but there were plenty of people there to help. Everyone is moving fast, they must be eating the candy...

Went for the first time to buy Strawberry belts and was able to get them for a really good price compared to what I pay at the gas station.Ended up buying a bunch of stuff.Great prices.

Its okay not fully stock n prices a lil steep fyi HEB has most stuff there of course not bulk like raspa syrup but a lil less cost...also fyi look into Ricos better prices on syrup

Candy distributor: Love it!!! They also make their own candy with chile and chamoy. Large variety of candy from Mexican, American, the hard to find (childhood) candy to their own brand. I almost shed a tear when I found Astro Pops........ Reminded me of when I was 5 and would have road trips with my Daddy-O.

When I go to San Antonio I always try to go there I get a whole bunch of different type of candy I havent seen in stores and spend well over $100 on it but its worth it when you buy in bulk ... however parking is a bit challenging but all in all its a great place to go

What a Dream! Wow This is a True Paradise if you Love Mexican Candy and well you will find that and believe me MORE! Stopped by on recent trip to San Antonion its not far from downtown either. You can find something for everyone ones palate. Employees were very nice and can help you find that you are looking for or help tell you about the different candies n products. They had a huge array of Arizona flavored Drinks! The Lemonade was Amazing!!

They have an okay selection of bulk candy but they dont have the selection of speciality ice creams (ice cream truck ice creams like loony toons etc) anymore like they used to which was really disappointing. They also have alot of personal size bags of candy and a small selection of grocery items but alot of it is really overpriced and its cheaper to just get it at HEB or Walmart etc.

Drive there twice a month 3/11 was the first day I ever encounter a problem with the cashier. Older lady offered helped and when I said yes she started saying something to the other lady about asking for help. If it was such a big deal she shouldnt have offered other than that I love that place.

Great service, called them and helped on what type of candy to buy etc. Delivery went well and my friends loved the chocolate.

A cool hidden treasures. All the candies you grew up with and some added new ones. Very cool place. The Raspa guy that drove around in your neighborhood as selling ice cream and snacks always had the best candies. This must be where he got his inventory. Pretty good selection excellent prices. A lot of cool little trinkets as well.

Drove all the way here from Wharton,Tx about a 2 and a half hour drive to get some goodies for my candy store! I was so happy and excited I went a little crazy I filled up the whole shopping cart haha but the person who helped me ring everything out was so nice he helped me so much and I will definitely be making the drive out here again soon! Great store but they allow way too many people inside and half dont have on masks. Walking around coughing and runny nosed. So gross was about to spend a good amount but felt so uncomfortable being in there so put it all back and left. :(
