I am ever so happy that I found this shop! They have amazing chocolates, macarons (my all time favorites), and even personal cakes. My only problem is when I go there, I want to buy everything in sight 🤤Everything looks so delicious and carefully confectioned. I love the way they package things as well, very fancy!!If you like chocolate, you MUST go too this store and give them a try, you won’t regret it!

The piece of cake we got was excellent but the macaroons & chocolate were incredibly disappointing. Both lacked flavor which really surprised us considering they won a food network competition. The macaroons at Whole Foods are so much better. Sadly not worth returning to.

This is a great store to pick up truffles. They also offer a wide assortment of other sweet treats. I bought their 24 pack of truffles and got an assortment of flavors. There were about 18 different options with many having variations of milk or dark chocolate as well. The chocolates were fantastic. The owner was also quick, answered all questions we had, and was respectful.

I just want to live in this place!! It smells like heaven. The treats are all handmade with love. You can see into the kitchen area where they are hard at work making these amazing treats. Good prices and lots of variety. The treats make the perfect gift for any sweets lover. Do yourself a favor and stop by if you’re around this part of town.

Heard all the good things about this place and was so excited to try. Bought 4 of small 4” cakes, Chocolates, macaroons and chocolate covered marshmallow. It smelt so good in there and people were friendly.Chocolates were really good.Macaroons were disappointing. The cream is very light and smooth, but the meringue was too crunchy outside and chewy inside. It should be light and delicate, but it was like thick and chewy, and that made it hard to enjoy smooth and delicious cream inside.Cakes were major disappointment. Again, cream was good, but the cake was soooo dry. The cream on Oreo cake was so sugary and it tasted and felt like the white cream in between the Oreo cookies.I’ll probably get more chocolate sometime, but never again for the cakes or macaroons

How did I not know about this place before? The chocolates and cookies are REALLY delicious! Quality ingredients and the boxed chocolates are just beautiful. I definitely need to go back for some chocolate cake. Highly recommend!

Beautiful pastry and chocolate shop with amazing food. All of the cakes and chocolates we tried from there were amazing. And the Macaroons were out of this world and so so good. We met one of the owners and he was incredibly nice and friendly. Will definitely be back.

Nacho is SO kind! I watch him on Spring Baking Championship (2018) and was excited to see what his shop offers. He educated me on his macaroons and I got to try some of his chocolates. His vanilla cake is AMAZING! He is SO my first choice to make my wedding cake I cant wait! Beautiful store and friendly service. You WONT be disappointed.

I love Valentine’s Day the most out of all the holidays and I called to make a order for chocolate dipped strawberries and today I was greeted so friendly and comfortably in store that it opened my heart to all the Valentine’s Day decorations they had. I went home very happy and really enjoyed with my mom all the yummy strawberries they made so delicious!! Nacho and Susana were super friendly, taking pictures with my family. Everything was delicious!! You cant go wrong with anything you pick. We had mini cakes, macarons, chocolate, smores, rice crispy treats. Clean and staff was friendly and knowledgable as well!

Very disappointed... I love macaroons and these were stale and crunchy.... I didnt get a chance to try the chocolate but I dont see myself returning after the lack luster macaroons. On the plus side everything looked nice 🤷‍♀️

Heaven on earth! I recently placed a cake order and while I was in the shop I just had to sample some of the beautiful treats they had on display. Omg these little butter cookies covered in powdered sugar are the best things Ive ever tasted! The chocolate case is absolutely beautiful and the cupcakes are to die for!

I simply am sharing my experience. I have loved pretty much everything I have tried. I ordered the Dark Chocolate Truffle cake for my wedding and unfortunately I found a hair in the cake when I was cutting the cake...it was embedded I had to pull it out of the ganache. I was devastated.Regardless of incident (I understand things happen) I still rated a 4 stars.

Today I got to meet Nacho Aguirre while picking up my cake! It was a real treat as I am a fan of his work. The cake was for my aunts birthday and he was so sweet. This week my aunt has to bury her sister on her birthday so it has been a difficult time, but the kindness Mr. Aguirre showed was much appreciated. The cake was absolutely delicious. Not only was it beautiful but it was so scrumptious, we all just had to go back for more. I think I will be getting all my cakes here from now on.

Great cakes and helpful friendly service. The flavors of the cakes are very rich and not to sweet. The texture of them are also very good. Would recommend the mini cakes to sample first. However, we go back many times over for special occasion cakes as well as splurge minis.

We had never tried macarons before, we were not impressed and dont understand why theyre so expensive. But the chocolate covered pretzels and chocolate covered marshmallows were very yummy.

The best chocolate in San Antonio, by far! I recommend the peppermint truffle or the dark chocolate with raspberry cream. You can get a 4 piece for $8. Good stuff.

Was waiting for a special ocassion to order a cake from Delice. After having seen the owners compete and win a national televised baking competition, I was excited to try one of their confectionary creations. I ordered a 10 red velvet cake for Valentines Day. The ordering process was easy and efficient and I received confirmation of the order. When it came time to pick up the cake, I received a message that the cake was ready with instructions on how to pick it up. The cake was beautiful, which added to my excitement. Well, thats where the good ends. I invited my neighbors to come over to try out the cake. I had taken it out of the fridge a couple of hours prior to their arrival so that the cake could come to room temperature and the icing soften, as directed by the bakery. I first noticed as I was cutting into it that the icing seemed very crystalized and sugary. The first slice came out and it looked wonderful. First bite, disappointment. The cake itself was dry as a bone. The icing had virtually no flavor of cream cheese, and was so over sweeetened with powedered sugar, it was hard and crystalized, instead of soft and creamy. I think I could have purchased a better cake at HEB. What an enormous disappointment.

They made my wedding cake and was the best cake ever, beautiful and delicious, everybody compliment the cake, I totally recommend this place 100% you wont be disappointed! The best place in San Antonio.

My husband got me some macaroons for valentines, they were good but also had a freezer taste to them, so that was disappointing. Maybe they can look into it.

Hands down absolute best cakes I have ever had. I used to love this place when I lived here a few years ago - discovering these cakes was a complete accident - but I bought them on a whim for a coworker on her birthday & she later became my best friend. I definitely believe the cake helped. I always have to buy a number of the personal sized ones every time I return to town. After you buy the cakes let them settle at room temperature for the best taste/texture.Updating my Review:So in the past Ive always bought individual sized cakes. Ive enjoyed all of them - Tres Leches, Dark Truffle, Red Velvet, Italian Blackberry, Carrot cake. Im starting to work through trying them all and for the first time this weekend I bought their Chocolate Buttercream. Fair warning: you will be ruined for other chocolate cakes. It is exceptional. I also got a brownie and it was hands down the best brownie I ever had, I loved the slight hint of cinnamon.

Their tres leches is the best! They also made chocolate and tres leches flavored cake pops for our couple shower. They did an amazing job and the cake pops were very delicious and beautifully prepared.

They made my daughters wedding cake as well the grooms cake! They were exactly as we imagined! So delicious! Mr Nacho and his wife have the best customer service! We always buy little cakes for the holidays! All of them are sooo good! :)

Awesome service, awesome cakes!I couldn’t decide between the traditional chocolate cake and the turtle cake. They were able to make the cake 1/2 and 1/2. It was a surprise for my husbands birthday and he was very pleased with it. My husband is not an easy one to please when it comes to food.The cakes were moist, not too sweet, just right.Everyone at the birthday party and everyone we shared the cakes with, needed to know where I got the cakes from.I will definitely be returning in the future!!!

I have tried both their carrot cake and their dark chocolate truffle cake. As long as you like dark chocolate, you will like the chocolate cake. If you have any taste buds at all, you will love their carrot cake. It was a surprising complex set of flavors that just made for an amazing cake. Cinnamon stood out to me as the most interesting flavor that I think helped make this so good. The frosting was proportioned properly to the size of the cake. Too many cakes have way too much frosting.Service is great. They know they are selling great tasting food, but they are excited to have you experience it.

The cakes I have tried have all been delicious. The carrot cake and German chocolate cakes are good. Very moist and the toppings are just the right amount. The Turtle one is the best one. The icing is not too sweet and the flavors are not over powering. The mini cake sampler is great to give as a gift when you cant choose just one flavor. The make a nice topper and a plaque made out of chocolate. We have also tried the meringue candies, brownies, bars, oreos and macaroons and have never been disappointed.

If you are in the area, stop by. Nacho is awesome and very friendly.

Placed an order for a specific cake for a surprise party and it was NOT what we asked for. It was suppose to be round without decoration on top and it was a square cake with the exact decoration that we asked not to be placed on the cake. We were highly dissatisfied with what we received. The manager/ owner nacho only could offer an apology for their mistake. I would have had better chances going to H-E-B and picking one up. If you chose to purchase a cake I hope your experience isn’t as bad as ours.

We stopped by the day after Valentines Day and purchased a piece of the Turtle with chocolate ganache frosting and a couple pieces of chocolates. Oh my tummy!!! They were amazing and the service was phenomenal. We will definitely come back. Its a must do on your San Antonio list.

What a wonderful bakery, chocolate & patisserie to visit. Nacho was there and was able to answer any questions we might have. Everything looked so good you wanted to sample everything. We purchased a dozen assorted Macarons. They also have coconut macaroons too. We will most definitely be going back to try something different and tasty.

I was going to a party and did not realize it was starting early enough to include dinner, which was a bring your favorite dish event. I called DC&P to place an order. In less than 24 hours, New Years Eve no less, I had an almond cake presented to me that was absolutely delicious! More than a few of the party-goers made comments supporting my view. I wish I had taken pictures, as it was a lovely looking cake.

The chocolates are wonderful, and the macarons are perfect! Nacho and Susanna are very friendly. Its always a delight to stop by the store!

Service is wonderful, flavors are nice, decoration was lovely. Cake was really dense (like pound cake) and a bit dry and crumbly. Very light in the frosting- which might have offset the dryness if there had been more.

WOW.. This place is amazing..my first time here, but wont be the last. I had the turtle cake and the blackberry cake..both were delicious. VERY FRESH...sweet but not too sweet. I also had a pecan custer..also very fresh and excellent.. even with buying these items already prepackaged ...they were amazing. Met the owner Nacho...very friendly and personal..what a great place.

Thanksgiving pies are a big deal in our house. Its the only thing that my husband doesnt make from scratch, so we always spend weeks trying to find the best place we can. This was our first Thanksgiving in San Antonio, and Délice did not disappoint! We got the roasted pumpkin pie and the apple cobbler, and both were fantastic! They were baked fresh the day of pickup, and they were conveniently open on Thanksgiving morning! I cant wait to try their other sweets; it all looked and smelled fantastic!!

Went to see Nacho today after hearing about him from my daughter who goes to school nearby with his son. He recently talked to their class about his experience winning the 2018 Spring Baking Championship on the Food Network.Such a delightful local family who makes incredible deserts and genuinely takes the time to share his love for baking. I’m proud to visit his wonderful shop, which by the way is reasonably priced. Make sure to try the Lavender Macrons. They’re amazing!!

I have to start off by saying that i was honored to meet Mr Nacho A. He is such a nice person, I was super excited since i knew about this place from watching the Food Network. As far as the actual establishment, small, very clean, and sophisticated. The decor is nice. Their variety is great. Did not disappoint. Our favorite was the 3 leches cake and the dark chocolate cake. Next time im in San As ntonio, ill stop again.

I went here yesterday with my sister, brother in law, and my husband. We walked in the store, and there was no one to greet us. After looking around for 5-10 minutes, someone finally came to the register. I picked up a paper that was in front of the register and asked if it was a menu. She didnt answer me, so I just kept walking around. We picked up 4 different 4 inch cakes to try. The register lady rang us up, without saying one word. My sister and brother in law did not like their two different 4 inch cakes that they bought. My husband did not like his cake either. I got the white truffle cake, and it was okay, the filing was delicious, but its only a small area. I gave this place only a 1 star because the lady should have greeted us and asked if we have been there before. It was our first time, and she could have up her customer service. There were no other customers in the store and she could have shown us around or asked us what we preferred, and maybe my husband, sister, and brother in law would have gotten delicious items based on their preference.

I enjoyed the large turtle, the milk hazelnut, and the pecan. I would have appreciated stronger raspberry and strawberry notes in those fruit flavors. The turtle cake was moist. It had more caramel flavor than I expected visually. I dont want anything to overwhelm the chocolate.

My experience with Délice was absolutely amazing. I walked in without an appointment to do a last minute wedding cake tasting and their service was spectacular. I picked a flavor that afternoon and was in communication with them via email for the rest of the planning since i live outside of San Antonio. Susana and Ignacio walked me through picking the right size and style of cake for our wedding and worked with our schedule to ensure we got just what we wanted. They (and their staff) were professional and courteous, and they delivered a beautiful and delicious cake. I look forward to the next time im visiting San Antonio and have the chance to stop by and try more of their cakes and chocolates. Thank you Délice for being such a great vendor for our wedding!!!

Wow! Very nice. I love all the beautiful chocolate. We bought the white truffle cake with whipped cream and cream cheese frosting. It was delicious! Macaroons are my favorite and the flavors are definitely there. The owner was very kind and helpful in our selections.

Went to visit the location as a result of watching the Food Network Spring Baking Champion. I was fortunate to meet Nacho, the co-owner of the bakery. I purchased the chocolate covered pretzels and the macaroons. The packaging was beautiful and the treats themselves were divine! I had a great chat with Nacho about his experience on the show and was so happy to know he is a sweet humble business owner and making our city proud.

Loved it! Got truffles, small cakes, and a giant smore. All very good! And the couple who run it are salt of the Earth. The nicest, most helpful people, even at the end of the day of a Saturday. Well be back!!!

Their chocolate cake is amazing, but their amaretto cake with apricot filling is the best. We used them for my sisters baby shower cake and it was delicious. It was not a custom cake, but a preorder of one of their standard cakes. LOVED it. They did customize it with a chocolate placard which was perfect. I would definitely use them again. Ive also been in for their individual cakes that they sell each day and those are also delicious.

This is a genuine chocolatier shop. Besides the treats there being art-fully presented, their treats are great on the tastebuds. So dont hesitate to stop by to pick up a small batch of treats or even pick up a petite cake (mine was for myself, lol). You will not be disappointed at the quality and to add to the experience, you can even see into the kitchen to know this is a place that makes their treats on site.

I was very excited to meet them both, but so far I have had the honor of meeting Mr. Nacho and what a treat he is. He came out from the baking area to meet me and had no issue with my asking for a photo.Now to the yummies! The BlackBerry buttercream on the delicate sponge was simply a delight. It was also the cake he won with. We tried the Mexican cookies, the macarons, the hand made chocolates and the chocolate dipped meringues. Every thing we tried was delicious.

Tried delice out while my husband was in Navy federal cu. My daughter and I bought several different flavors of the macaroons. OMG! I have never had a macaroon taste so good. My daughter commented they feel good biting into them. Definitely our new fave!
