Miguel took the time to explain the different types of materials and features, was honest about the pros and cons of each product and had an amazing knowledge of... You guessed it: furniture! Got some great stuff ordered, but it took us SO long in the store because every time we would fall in love with a piece, it was either back ordered, completely unavailable, or wasnt able to be delivered. It took us about 3 hours to find everything we needed and we ended up leaving with some things ordered that are only okay.The sales staff, though was great.

Purchased a sectional and set up delivery for a week and a half later. On delivery date the time slot given to us was completely wrong. Did not get our delivery until close to 6:00pm when our time slot was 11:00-3:00. Delivered incomplete sectional. Was missing the end piece. Was told we would have to wait another week for correct piece. Called to let them know we would not be able to take another day off to wait for delivery and the customer representative was helpful. She was able to push our delivery up to that same Saturday which was only two days later. Come Saturday the delivery was also close to 6:00pm and they delivered THE WRONG PIECE! 🤣 I can’t make this up. Rooms to Go is the McDonalds of furniture companies.

Their delivery process is a joke they never hold to their four-hour window then youll get a text message saying your next and Ill be there in 16 minutes and then they skip you and go to another delivery when you call the store you purchased from they have no control over the delivery and have to find out why the delivery team sucks so bad its truly regretful because the sales team is excellent in the store is great but the delivery leaves a bad taste in your mouth we are going to regular furniture stores in the future that I know will hustle hard and get the delivery process right I cautioned people to stay away from Rooms To Go to avoid the frustration of their poor managed and unorganised delivery process

Daniel was very helpful when me and my husband went to purchase furniture! He was the only one to ever address us and proceeded to follow up with us as we walked around the store even when he was busy with other customers he made us feel like a priority as well as servicing them. We enjoyed the service so much I went back a week later to make another purchase.

Dont do business with them. Poor communication regarding delivery dates and when their is an expected delivery date set they dont even deliver all the items! This has happened twice and they give no further details as to why deliveries are having to be rescheduled. Save your money and time and go somewhere else!

Horrible experience. Multiple deliveries due to delays, wrong items being delivered, damaged items. I ordered a 3 piece sofathe pic shows what was delivered at first. 2 of the 3 pieces, and they were completely different. Took forever to get my delivery charge refunded. Months after I paid for my sofa, and several exchanges and deliveries later, I finally got the last piece and it wasnt the same. Called to return everything bc I was fed up. Customer service couldnt help. Called the store but all managers happened to be unavailable. Said I would get a call back and never did. Save yourself a lot of headaches and never buy from here.

Spent the entire day shopping around town for living room furniture and found the perfect couch at Rooms To Go. It was both affordable and VERY comfortable, even filled with feathers. Our salesman understood we were in a hurry when we finally decided to purchase so got us in and out off the door with a delivery setup in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend visiting for their affordable prices and fantastic customer service!

Please avoid this company at all costs. The floor salesmen lied about whats covered under warranty/insurance.****Please check their reviews on BBB.orgo I have been getting the runaround for SEVEN months (and counting) for warranty claims between ROOMS TO GO and their third party warranty company FORTEGRA (still NOT resolved).o A technician verified the damages on and his assessment was to replace one piece, replace a mechanism on a second piece, and fix the third piece on the spot. After a few weeks, I called to follow up since nobody reached out to me, I was surprised to hear that two claims were rejected, and the third one will be fixed on the spot instead of replacing the item (as the technician advised).****Seven months later, I just called them and NO one knows whats the status of the claim or the parts (ROOMS TO GO, ROOMS TO GO WAREHOUSE, and FORTEGRA).

I knew there was a reason I wanted to try to avoid ordering anything from Rooms to Go.Unfortunately, I did.I placed an order for a sleeper sofa on December 31. The delivery date was February 13.On the day of delivery, my tracking said I was stop number 8. I continued to watch the route map, and suddenly, the trucks went from stop 7 to 9. I reached out to customer service myself, and they told me they wouldnt be able to make my delivery. Let me be clear: Rooms to Go did not inform me. I had to reach out MYSELF. I waited all day for a delivery that was never going to come.I had the order rescheduled for the following week. It was eventually canceled, understandably, due to inclement weather.On February 19, I rescheduled my delivery for what would be the SOONEST DATE -- March 26; nearly 3 months after the date I ordered. I have SAVED TRANSCRIPTS of this conversation in which a Rooms to Go Customer Service representative says that my order would be delivered on March 26 and that no further action would be needed from me.I checked my Order Status and my order did NOT have a delivery date, and I was unable to select one myself on their website. That is when I tried every avenue to reach out to Customer Service; I called, texted, and emailed and would either get disconnected while on hold or would straight up just not get a reply after a while.Finally, today, I was able to get a hold of someone. The order I placed on December 31 wont be arriving until April 23 (allegedly). Well see if that ACTUALLY happens or if Rooms to Go is just a scam.

Worst customer service. They will not process the replacement of a damage piece smoothly. They will make you to come multiple times to the showroom. May be they think we will give up.The comments from the customer care representative says Recliner sofa replacement. So they will contact them to make sure if it is single recliner piece or is it a 2 recliner sofa. Why would I replace a working sofa. The bill clearly says it’s a recliner sofa. They just don’t want to replace.The manager itself can’t get a hold of customer service agent. She is just bluffing without even contacting them.

Please save yourself the headache of working with this company. The whole process has been a complete nightmare. We are going on a year that we purchased a dining room table from Rooms To Go. We have been through 3 exchange processes and still haven’t resolved our problem. Each exchange is worse than the previous.1st delivery: Damaged tabletop and server. It took several months to receive the table.2nd Delivery: It took almost 7 months to get a replacement table that was also damaged.3rd Delivery: The delivery team was scheduled to deliver between 5 pm and 9 pm. They didn’t end up showing up until almost 11 pm. This was unacceptable due to the fact there was no heads-up of a delay or a courtesy call of their arrival. We figured they weren’t coming and ended up going to bed. We live in a gated community. So you can understand my anger and frustration when my doorbell rang in the middle of the night.4th Delivery: Our tabletop never made it onto the truck. The delivery team showed up, realized it wasn’t on the truck, and just left without saying a word.5th Deliver: The contract delivery team never notified us they were on their way. They showed up outside of the delivery window, which we weren’t home at the time. They proceeded to give us an ultimatum that if weren’t home in 10mins they would leave. Luckily, we were just around the corner. The delivery team proceeded to unbox the table and wouldnt you know, it’s damaged for the 3rd time. Not to be outdone by the regular delivery team, this contract delivery service left trash in our front lawn as well as our neighbors lawns.Do yourself a favor and take your business to Living Spaces or Bob Mills. At the very least these companies deliver in a timely manner, deliver undamaged products, and have quality customer services as well as delivery teams.

We have purchased furniture sets from Rooms To Go since 2011 and still have many of those pieces from our original purchase. The furniture is well made and they offer great affordable deals. Most recently we purchased a bedroom set from RTG Kids and we had a great experience in the store with Jacklyn Sanchez. She was so helpful and patient as we discussed our needs and she made sure that we received the most for our money.

-5 star. The worse experience buying furniture. The broke my wall during first delivery plus the delivery broke the console during installation. I have to wait 2 more week to get a replace and guess what this time during delivery broke my door and the console came back broke again.Now I have the tv console on my garage due they no even took it back to the store. I been calling costumer service asking for the refund and they said refund is not allow after 48h of the purchased. Now I have over 1000 dollars sitting my garage waiting for them.

I dont like giving things a one star review, that typically just shows impatient and unfairness on the consumer side. But, heres why Im doing it. I spent $15k on furniture, one of which was a $5k mattress. I paid cash up front for everything. My mattress was to be delivered in a few days, the rest was all scheduled for a single delivery on a few weeks later to ensure all of the pieces are there. My delivery date has yet to come for everything else. But, for the mattress, the wrong mattress was delivered. As the delivery team was walking out, I sat on the bed and was like wait... I grabbed my order, which of course was coded, meaning I had to look it up on line, then had to look up the mattress that was delivered. The one they sent wasnt terrible uncomfortable, but it was a $1500 mattress I didnt want, not he $5k mattress I did want.As soon as I noticed the delivery was wrong, I called customer service immediately. Well give them the benefit of the doubt since it was thanksgiving weekend, but I spent 3 hours on hold only to have the service center close and hang up on me. Fast forward to today, Monday, 3 days after the wrong deliver. I spent 30 minutes on hold. When asked the reason I was calling, I said I had a delivery Saturday and I was delivered the wrong mattress. She replied with Yes, I do see that we delivered the wrong mattress. Wait...so you knew all along? Then why was I calling you? Why did I waste 4 hours of my time? She was courteous enough and offered a new delivery date...which was 2 weeks out. When I asked if they could do it sooner, she said no, that was the earliest available. Funny, when I ordered the mattress, I had no issues getting the in stock mattress delivered from their warehouse in a matter of days. Now after they screwed up, it takes 2 weeks...to unload a mattress on a route they already have planned. Im not buying it. Also, paid almost $300 for the delivery..and of course was not offered a refund.I dont like giving one star reviews. The only thing I hate more than giving one star reviews is terrible customer service. 4 hours on hold just to be told they knew they messed up and the corrective action is to deliver my stuff to me almost 3 weeks after it was supposed to be delivered is unacceptable. I dont normally buy protection plans, but I dropped $15k on some nice stuff, so I splurged on it with the intent of using it every time something under warranty popped up. If this is how their customer service is, Im seriously considering demanding a refund for the warranty plan, Im not waiting for 4 hours for shoddy service every time I use my warranty.

Recently purchased a bedroom set from this location and long story short if I could give less than 1 star rating I would. I also would have driven all of the pieces I do have (because they yet to deliver all oh the pieces) to the store myself if I would have gotten a refund and been done with this company. Over the course of dealing with this company I have been yelled at by two employees and given absolutely 0 help from any enquires. We initially set up a delivery date and were told the entirety of our order would be delivered then. When the drivers showed they informed me the rails to the bedframe werent there, then acted as if it was my doing and shrugged when I asked what to do about it. Customer service at this time told us the rails were on back order and our salesman should have informed us (he didnt), but they had scheduled a delivery for the following Tuesday. This schedule was without my knowledge and I had to use a day of vacation time to be there for delivery. No one showed for the delivery which a confirmation was sent to me for the day prior. I called customer service and a woman told me the deliver was for the following Tuesday and told me it was never scheduled for that day despite me saying I received a confirmation (which I still have) and had confirmed with their service because I had to use vacation time to be there. After learning nothing else from that call I called the store and spoke to a representative named Ken who told me the rails were in stock, but couldnt explain why they failed to deliver them twice. He then tried to blame the issue on the pandemic. My issue was not in waiting for the product due to manning constraints or the like, my issue was 2 delivery days scheduled without my knowledge, being yelled at by two employees, having to now use two vacation days for the deliveries, getting different answers to the issue from every single employee, and yet to receive my full order. From start to finish this has been the worst experience buying any product in recent years and I will never do business with this location or company ever again in my life.

My husband and I went here Sunday afternoon. We were looking for a living room set for downstairs and a living room sleeper set for a game room. We were instantly greeted by Mr. Hector. He left us to look around and as soon as I found what I liked and wanted. He was on a mission to get us set up He went out of his way to help me mix and match. He selection and service was good. I was welcomed into the store and was able to walk around on my own for a little while, but my salesperson was close by to answer any questions I had. I didnt feel pressured at all and Santa, my salesperson, was able to quickly find me furniture I was happy with. I went through all of the payment options and she explained everything to me, so I was able to make the best choice for me. My only complaint was when it came to paying for my furniture. I was shown a price breakdown that listed all of the furniture I was purchasing, and I used my card to pay for it. It wasnt until she was gathering all my paperwork did she start informing about the details of the warranty. I had not asked for the warranty and she had only mentioned it briefly when were browsing around store. If I did not know any better, I wouldve assumed it was included as part of the listed furniture prices because none of the price screens she showed me broke it out as a separate cost. I was able to get it removed and the cost refunded back to my card, but it just felt kind of shady that she added it into the price without asking me about it. This is one of those salesperson tactics that makes me feel weird because I felt like I almost got taken advantage of.

Our Rooms To Go experience has been a miserable one. My wife and I went to rooms to go and selected 3 pieces of furniture. A sleeper sofa, a love seat, and an end table. The end table was not in stock, so it would have to come 3 weeks later. The love seat and couch came on the expected date, however the sleeper sofa wouldnt fit up our stairs, which were too narrow. I didnt completely believe them when they said it couldnt be disassembled and taken upstairs in pieces, but i gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back to the store to re-select a new sofa as directed by the delivery person. When I got to the store, I was told that customer care must be the one to approve a re-selection and the salesman apologize for the delivery man advising me incorrectly. So, I went home and called customer care, who added notes to my order which gave approval to re-select. I then went back to Rooms To Go and re-selected my couch. The salesman was able to move up the delivery date of my end table by a week and said my couch would be delivered with it. Fast forward 2 weeks, the delivery man brought only the end table, which had a cracked glass. He left the end table with no glass and said to call customer care to have the glass top replacement to be scheduled for delivery. He had no information about the couch. I called customer care, and the representative told me my salesman cancelled the couch order and never created a new order. She started to tell me that she clocks out at 5:30pm, so if she cant talk to the necessary department to place the order by that time, then Ill need to call back again. At this point, my frustration was at a high, so I told her that if she couldnt place my order by 5:30, then to cancel my order because I would not call back and wait 20 min for a representative again. She told me that to cancel my order, I would have to do that in the store, however, my order should be placed by 5:30 and she would call me back on Monday to verify things with me. I have very little faith that I will get a call back on Monday. If I dont, Im planning on walking into the store to cancel my order.. And probably be told that they cant do that, only customer care can...

Sofa was delivered with a cracked back board. Ive had 2 different technicians come 2 different times to look at it but neither one repaired it but when I called to check the status the office says the technicians reported they repaired it but they never did any kind of repair. Now they REFUSE to help. I even bought the warranty but, they dont care, after they have your money they say they cant help. Biggest mistake buying from RTG,never again.

So I realize there are a lot of really scathing reviews for Rooms to Go, but honestly I didnt have all that hard of a time. Started my order in November and just paid it off four days ago. I picked the all day delivery option which may be why I had less of a problem. Basically that means they can deliver an any time of the day, and Im home on Mondays so it wasnt an issue. They showed up around noon and finished up in about 30 minutes.I ordered a 8 piece bedroom set called Gardenia in black for 1800 total, I got in on a good sale to cut down 400, which essentially dodged the delivery price. Its two nightstands, a chest, a dresser, dresser stack, mirror, bed rails, and headboard.Delivery guys were a bit awkward and quiet, but otherwise polite. My furniture all arrived intact and they set it up just fine for the most part. One of the legs on my one of my nightstands had a hole drilled to big for the screw, but after the other reviews Id consider myself lucky!The quality of the furniture is fine. Im not sure Id blame the delivery guys for this, but the drawers on the chest I ordered are little jammed. Once I wiggled them free and re-set them on their rails they worked just fine.All in all though my problems were easily fixable myself. Could be that I got lucky that the issues I had are easy for me to deal with, but Id say Rooms to go did just fine. Id probably order from them again next time I need a whole room at once.

Beware, buyers who are going to use their finance service (which was a great black Friday deal). This review is not about the furniture. I love our double-wide loveseat recliner. HOWEVER, beware of the employees here. Our salesman was very nice, however we were lied to about a crucial part of the deal.I specifically asked ours salesman AND our cashier if we could use a credit card to pay our monthly payments if we financed our couch. The salesman said yes, but I knew it was uncommon so I asked the cashier as well & she said yes.Then we get a call saying that were being charged penalties for not paying for 2 months because they dont take credit cards. EVEN THOUGH the cashier is the one who ran our credit card to attach it to our finance plan.It wasnt a super big deal for us having to pay out of our checking account rather than credit card, but seriously? That would have been nice to know.Either they lie and say anything to get you to buy something or they need to do more research and actually know what they are selling.So beware.

Salesman met us at the door. Greeted us and asked if we needed any help we said no we were looking. We found two items we wanted to purchase. went back to the original salesman and told him we were ready. He took our order quickly. there was no pressure during the entire sale. I highly recommend requesting Daniel when you walk through the door. He will not stalk you through the store but will check in with you occasionally to answer any questions you have. He is very respectful, knowledgeable and wonderful to work with. I would definitely go back for the rest of the furniture we need to purchase for our house.

I made an order at the begging of May, and after five months of me going to the store several times, calling customer service that takes 30 minutes to answers, they keep pushing the date out of when my furniture will be deliver, management is extremely rude . Unless you want your furniture deliver 8 months after they agree to I would not recommend you to buy from here.Update, it’s January and still haven’t received my order, no contact or status was given, called several times and customer service was always lying giving false information for months saying that order was already sent.

I do not understand why there are so many negative reviews, this is completely opposite from the experience that I had. I had great customer service provided by Edward at this location, he answered every question I had. He gave me a list of dates I wanted my furniture to be delivered, of course I chose the earliest delivery date. The delivery date was a little over a week from the purchase date, I received phone calls and texts throughout the week assuring me the date of the delivery. The day before the delivery I received a text and phone call confirming the 11-3 time frame my furniture would be delivered. Sure enough the delivery guy called a little after 11 letting me know he was on his way. My couch was delivered in great condition, in about 20 min. The delivery guys were very respectful and prompt with the delivery. I will definitely be going back to this Rooms to Go location for my next furniture purchase.

Delivery guys were friendly and professional. But my bed was not put together due to no hardware for them to put together. So now I have to wait another 5 days for the hardware to come in the mail and then I have to call them so they can send someone to put it together. And on top of that my head board is a refurbished one. Seriously I paid a lot of money for a new bed not a refurbished one. Now I have 4 boxes taking up space in my room and a mattress on the floor.

I had bought some furniture form Rooms to Go in the past without any issues, but I was weary of going back based upon many of the recent reviews. My husband and I went to check out what they had, and we were greeted warmly. We had an idea of what we wanted and our salesman, Sam, helped us out. He gave us different options and didnt try to up-sell us. We voiced our concern about the issues people have had with delivery, and he promised that he would help us out if we had any issues. We didnt. The delivery men brought everything on-time and put it together. Our furniture wasnt damaged, it looked great and the delivery men were kind and quick. Thanks Room to Go!

We would have given them a five star rating if not for the delivery issue. Salesman and sales transaction was easy and couldnt have asked for a nicer living room set at a better price. Delivery was a big issue. We had to wait two weeks for a good delivery time only to have it canceled an hour before the estimated delivery time because the truck broke down. Rooms To Go made $2.3B in revenue and is #200 on Forbes top companies and the truck broke down? Had to call the store who is trying to still get it delivered today. Ill modify my rating if they take it seriously and make it happen.

I have gone back several times to purchase furniture. I dont like the sales people trying to pounce when I barely take a few steps into the store!! Luckily, the first time this happened, I told them to go away. I ended up finding the right salesperson ( Robert V) and ALWAYS ask for him when I go to purchase any additional furniture. Rooms to Go, you really need to tell your eager beavers to sit until they are called. I like to window shop and decide when I am ready.I have never had an issue with any of my furniture but if I do, I hope that I can continue to give 5 stars.

Very poor quality. Had my first set replaced due to multiple broken pieces and lack of cushioning in the back for added protection. They replaced my set, just to get a second set of sofas just as bad. Definitely would not recommend them to my family or friends. Very very very poor quality of furniture for as much money you into it. Very sad to say, just to know that we have wasted our money.

Never again with this store. They refuse to do anything about a stain that is supposed to be covered under their warranty. I paid extra for the protective guard, and they said if a stain didnt come off they would fix it. Well my kids spilled something and in the process of cleaning it the top layer peeled off. Technician came and said something hot was placed on it. Which is not true. But the fact that my kids covered the stain, and it got sticky left a rectangular looking spot. What is the point of paying extra if its not even going to be worth it. Salesperson said any stain would be covered and scratches, and that if my couch looked dingy they would come and clean it. Not true. I cant return the stupid couch, and now have to fix it on my own.

Charged a good 400 dollars more for a bed that I could have bought at big Dans for the 400 dollars less. The couches Im not sure if they were exactly the same but they were very similar. Big Dans was well under almost 1000 dollars less. They also didnt try to up sell me with a cover for warranty purposes.

Weve bought a lot of furniture from Rooms to Go. We wont buy from them again. Bought two large bedroom sets. PAID for the installation. They came and were short on parts. Maybe would have been a good idea to ensure you had everything before coming out...but I guess that would make too much sense. They left a very large mirror just leaning against the wall in my sons room. With 5 kids in the house, this is clearly unsafe. This, along with missing handles on several of the drawers, along with some other small parts. We called the 800 number and they said they would overnight the missing parts. A week later....still nothing. Called again and was told they hadnt shipped yet. The store doesnt care because heck, they already have the money. Evidently corporate doesnt either. I would be very very careful buying anything from this store. Absolutely horrible service now.

I dont think rooms to go cares about the customers at all. I bought the base to my mattress and receive a puncture on it on the side. I will never buy anything again from this company. Just to get my base again the guy that I spoke to on the phone who was about to fall asleep, told me i have to basically wait another month for my base to be reshipped out to me. This guys only care about the sale once its done its done they dont care about you at all. Without a doubt the worst possible customer service ever I wont buy anything else from this company never ever after ever. Trust me you been warned.

First time ever writing a negative review. The customer service here is terrifying. Bought a bed frame. Waited 3 weeks for it to come in. Delivery occurred but when the drivers began installing new frame, they realized pieces were missing. They left the half assembled frame in the master bedroom and said someone would help us the next day. It has now been 3 days, customer service says they can’t help because it isn’t their department. We can’t speak to a manager because they are on an important phone call. They think they can schedule the part’s delivery in 6 days. Until then we are stuck sleeping on the couch. It would be a disservice to allow a friend or family member to shop here in the future.

I urge everyone not to purchase from Rooms To Go. I read the reviews beforehand and I had my reservations about it. However, the horrible reviews just proved to be true. I ordered an entertainment center in July and they told me delivery was estimated to be in September. This was already a lengthy delivery time. Come September we had a delivery date when we would not be there for the arrival.To comply with Rooms To Go policies we contact the store with plenty of time to reschedule. Well, the staff completely miscommunicated their timelines. They told us that we would have to call two days prior. Low and behold we do and they tell us we are late in informing them because they need four days not two. So we are pushed back to the end of the line and have to wait until November. 4 months wait time. Are you kidding me!!!!!They are not helpful and the Supervisors are the same. No one can possibly do anything to make sure we get it sooner. Then to the put the cherry on top, they tell me you can cancel but we CANT give you all of your money back. Seriously! A purchase I basically have to wait half a year for. I already had to swap out my other purchased furniture because it arrived damaged. Then, they dont even give a date you rescheduled for they just give you any random day and time. They gave me a date in November when Im obviously at work knowing that we can only take deliveries on the weekend. This store and their staff is a ridicule.

But we were in there for a good looking while walking around looking for a bed sofa and past by several Rooms To Go representatives and not one spoke when walked by or asked if we needed help, smh. Once we damn near finished walking the whole store a young fella came over and asked us if he could help us? We were like wow weve been in here for good while and youre the first person to ask us if we needed anything we started to leave. So all that to just say customer service is nowhere near what it used to be.

Buyer beware, they have a no return policy!! I purchased an electric recliner for $1,000. After the second day, it stopped working. I called customer service and they sent a repair person over a week later. Turns out some wires were loose, ten minutes after the repair man left, it stopped working, AGAIN!! I called customer service and was told I needed to wait an additional 5 days before I can have the sofa replaced. After callling the salesman, I was told the sofa was no longer in stock and had to wait an additional 30 days for a replacement. Bottom line, customer service sucks!!!! I’ll never shop that place again. I might as well have flushed $1,000 down the toilet!!!

On July 4th I bought a hideaway bed couch that I am satisfied with but not as comfy and cozy as last couch bought about 10 yrs ago. (Hideaway bed couches are usually stiffer anyway) I also bought a Sunset Key King mattress because floor model was comfortable but bed received wasn’t. It actually cut off the circulation at my hip the 1st night. After three nights my husband started to complain too. It took about a week or two of bad sleep before being GRANTED to exchange it for another bed. La Castello V King mattress have now is harder than floor model but was told would be delivered already manufactured broken into. It’s not, at first when you lay on it you sink a little but then feels hard. It has cut off the circulation at hip every night. I am sleeping on the guest bed now. Second mattress was about $1,400 more than the 1st one. I just want to return it and be refunded and go somewhere else for a mattress. I have health issues and need a full good night sleep in order to function and sometimes not able to leave bed. The sales agent, I have to say, was professional and polite at all times. I like rooms to go and would recommend for the furniture, but for myself not the mattresses. Delivery men were efficient, clean, and polite both times. Update mattress has softened up but still bothers legs once in awhile and does not stay cool.

You will be greeted by a swarm of people at the door, they will scramble to meet you first, throw the weekly ad in your face, and follow you around creepily the entire time you are there, they are experts at hiding, behind ferns, couches, entertainment centers.The furniture is nice though

I bought furniture here September of 2017 and it was delivered in October. The delivery drivers were nice and everyone in store treated me with kindness and were obviously happy I was there to purchase furniture.The couches I bought had a flaw in the sewing to where the seams would just start falling apart so after one month (November) I had to call to report it so that they could either repair or replace them. They came and decided to replace them because this couch couldn’t be repaired because of the seams. The new couch arrived in December of 2017.The same problem started happening again (August/September of 2018) and because I was still under warranty this time I asked if there were other options because I didn’t want the same couches to have the same problem. Again, I asked, I didn’t demand and I didn’t know what to expect. They offered to let me do a swap.I went in store again, this time with a guy named Jeff, who explained the swap process and how you have to spend the same amount or more in order for it to work. I totally understand this because the money has already been spent. You can be limited to warehouse items only instead of vendor items which kind of sucks. Overall, I ended up getting way comfier couches that were less expensive so I had to spend the remainder of the store credit on other stuff. I added 2 lamps and 1 large memory foam pillow and 2 small memory foam pillows. Delivery will be October 2018 and I am very excited to receive my new stuff.I didn’t have a problem over the phone with any staff nor did I have a problem in store with any of the staff. Jeff was a great salesman and a big help to me! All of the staff here are kind and understanding of what happened and willing to assist. I would definitely recommend Jeff for any purchases.The only reason I’m putting 4 stars is because of the quality of the furniture I bought originally was not very good and also because of the rules of the swap to where I couldn’t order vendor items that I actually wanted and had to end up getting lamps that I didn’t necessarily care a lot for. (I just really needed lamps for my apartment).

Rooms to Go delivery is horrible!!! The drivers cannot find your home, they don’t know where they are in San Antonio so that you can even begin to give directions. Than they ask you to meet them somewhere!!! How unprofessional is that??The driver that is able to find you put the furniture together in your home and leave a complete mess. Don’t bother to clean it up.

I bought a rocker reclining loveseat, which I didnt know they made, and a reclining sofa and I got both pieces under $2000(which also included delivery, fabric protection and taxes. What a horrible experience! We went in to buy some couches. Cash in hand. Asked salesperson if they had any deals. He got so offended and went on to tell us how they do 200 deliveries per day and they are the only store in San Antonio not hurting for business and how they would never discount anything. We told him we would rather help a store that needed our business and went over to Star, where we were treated with respect. We will never even drive through a rooms to go parking lot ever in our lives. People are slow at rooms to go!!!

If I could rate this less I would. The sales portion of my experience in the store was wonderful, but of course that’s to be expected cause they’re trying to make money. The minute you’ve signed for their furniture is where the gates of hell open.I was told I’d get my furniture this Saturday 01/19/2019 when I went in store 3 weeks prior to order and book my delivery date for the 19th. I plan my day around that delivery from 7am-11am. 11am hits and I still got no info where the delivery was. I called and after 4 phone calls to customer service I finally found out that the truck transporting my furniture “broke down” but to call back later in the day to see if they’d get it in. Nope. So then I’m told I’d get it Sunday, but can you blame me for being skeptical of not getting it Saturday as planned when I worked Sunday? Well push comes to shove and I missed the Sunday delivery which shouldn’t really matter cause I was working and took Saturday off planned for the original delivery. So I called and am told I can’t get it anymore cause the driver didn’t feel like turning around. Proceeding this I wait until today, Monday where customer service is working again to figure out what the heck is going on.Called in the morning and was told it takes 2 days to “inventory check the items back into the warehouse so rescheduled delivery is not available until another 2 days”. Called again later this afternoon and the gentleman working was honest enough with me to walk me through everything that happened. The call ended with MY furniture I paid for BEING GIVEN TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER SO ITS BACK ORDERED UNTIL FEBUARY 27????????Encountered nothing but lies, delays, excuses and it’s not acceptable whatsoever from a store of this magnitude. Was hoping to purchase the rest of my furniture once this order comes in but that won’t be happening with the hassle I’m experiencing already.Pathetic.

Im happy with the furniture itself and the salesman who helped me with my purchase. My order came in 2 diff deliveries. The first delivery went great. The 2nd one, the guy was so rude and had an attitude. They left blocks on the floor and when I asked what they were for, with an attitude he said they go to the bed. Confused I asked where, he says you dont need them, I left the instructions right there, mind you Im on the 3rd floor and speaking to him from my balcony, I dont know what right there means. Why would you just leave random parts without explaining why?! This was after he rudely told me the bed was setup and and told me to sign the tablet confirming delivery. Ill shop with Rooms To Go again but Ill think twice about the delivery options in the future.

Also, be ready to be followed around the whole time you are in the store. Its blatant these pests are just looking to make some commission off your purchase. Worst customer service I have EVER experienced... I took the day off of work yesterday to receive my new sectional couch. My delivery window was from 2pm-6pm. Unfortunately i received a phone call at 10pm saying the couch could not be delivered today due to them Having 5 more deliveries before mine. They promised that the couch would be delivered first thing in the morning due to my work schedule. However, I received a phone call this morning saying it wouldnt be delivered until 7pm. Note: I paid $100 for delivery and am dealing with very poor service. I should have paid $45 to U-Haul and picked it up myself. ROOMS TO GO GET YOUR STUFF TOGETHER!!

Our in-store experience was great. The salesperson was not pushy and really listened to what we were looking for. The selection was pretty good, and he did a good job of finding what we wanted. However, the experience turned really sour on delivery day. The drivers called for some help with directions and then said they were about 20 minutes out based on their current location. Over an hour later, they showed up and were obviously in a hurry. They installed two pieces of furniture wrong (handles on the INSIDE of the drawers and mattress slats not secured to the bed frame) and then got extremely rude when we asked them to fix it before they left. They also left cardboard, plastic, and other small packing materials on every drawer and corner of each piece of furniture they brought in. Finally, they left all the large packaging, including cardboard boxes and plastic wrap, in our drive way. When we asked them to please pick them up, they said it wasnt their job to chase down every piece of trash and they got in the truck and left. So we then spent the next 30 min cleaning up plastic and cardboard from the cul de sac and removing all packing materials from 7 large pieces of furniture. We spoke to two customer service reps about our experience and were told a delivery manager would call to follow up. Still havent heard anything. It is ridiculous to pay hundreds of dollars in delivery fees and miss half a day of work to fight with the guys to unload stuff properly and at least make an effort to clean up larger trash items. Their bad attitude just made it worse. We will not be buying from Rooms to Go again...its just not worth the delivery drama. Wed had a bad delivery experience with them previously but just thought it was a fluke. I guess not!

What started out as a very wonderful experience has ended up very costly as we are working on replacing the furniture we brought from RTG a little over a year ago. When moving into our new home we decided to update our furniture. We did our living room, Breakfast room kids bedroom and office. We have had the pieces in the home about a year. They are not holding up to daily use very well. The Theater Chairs we bought are the worst . Looked great in the showroom floor. However, the armrests on the chair are nothing more then thin plastic covered in fabric.The moment you put any weight on the armrest they break. Cheap, Cheap Cheap....On a positive note, our sales person Charlene was an absolute delight to work with.

I bought a really nice futon from Rooms To Go but the service has made me determined to never buy a thing from them ever again. It was delivered on a Wednesday, but they forgot the hardware to put it together. I called customer service so they would order the hardware and the lady said they would overnight it, but it took SIX days to get to me! On the following Tuesday! In the meanwhile the futon was just lying on my living room floor in useless pieces. Then I had to call them another four times to get someone out to my place to put it together for me (which I had already paid for as part of the delivery fee, btw). I was at work that day, so I gave them my work number so they could reach me when the guys were on their way. But they never used that number! They only called my cell phone which I cant have at work, so I never knew they were coming! When I called yet again to yell at them they even tried to convince me it was my fault! Like, no. I gave you people the number I needed you to call...Anyways, today I gave up on the worthless idiots and put the stupid thing together myself.

I’m very disappointed with this furniture store. Customer service is poor and they’re only Interested with your money. We did a lay away program for many months at first sales told us that we can avail any promos once we’re done with our payment and not a single piece of pillow we get. Haha. So good to be true! No stars if it were possible! Had a horrendous experience with RTG delivery in 10/2018. We ordered a sectional for delivery and the date for delivery was arranged while paying for the sectional. Around the date of delivery, the RTG call center in FL calls to set up a block of time to expect delivery. I scheduled time off work for 4 hours and no one showed up. The call center contacted me after 5 p.m. to let me know the driver was running late and delivery would occur before 9 p.m. No one ever showed up!!! The delivery team ended up delivering my sectional the next day. The call center contacted me and said a supervisor from RTG would contact me about my poor experience, but over 1 year later, that NEVER happened! I’m done with RTG.

I bought a leather chair that rotated around for my sons room and when the metal base cracked, they sent someone up as if they were going to honor this warranty the sales person kept touting. After someone came up and took pictures, they then just said, sorry its not a manufacturer defect... really.... it s a CRACKED METAL base! It had a 100 pound child sitting in it playing video games in his room... How is this OUR fault? This warranty is BS. They dont actually honor it.

I went to San Antonio Store the last Saturday and the experience was amazing. The salesman Mr. Axel Orta take time to explain me the different mattresses and options they have. We tried together the different beds and we lay down in each one for a while. In the meantime, he explained how the mattress was build the advantage and disadvantage so I can make my final decision. I don’t feel any pressure from Mr. Orta. He was very gentle, patient and well instructed. My experience that Saturday was incredible. I enjoyed spend time with Mr. Orta, we laugh together and I left the store satisfied with my decision.

As I walked in, theres two salesmen waiting at the entrance door waiting for their prey. I felt like I walked into a car lot! Of course, the salesman took me to the most expensive items, the when told him my budget he showed me a $300 item which was the ugliest thing i have ever seen. I asked suprisidly, is this all you have in my price range? Thanks but no thanks. I prefer browsing first, then if i need help i will look for it. Maybe they should have a small info desk where they can point you in the right direction, instead of salesmen waiting at the door.

This store has horrible customer service!!!!! They sent me a dining room set without the hardware so the delivery guys just dropped all the boxes in my dining room area. I tried to take it upon myself to put it together only to find out that I paid 828.09 for a used dining room. This thing has been repainted and they were even too lazy to remove the dust and spider webs with eggs from under the table. When I asked for my refund they refused and wanted me to pick another set drive to the store, then wait another month to receive it because they take forever to deliver your furniture!! Im going to report these people to the bbb and any consumer protection place I can find. I am fed up with their inability to do their job right!!!!!!
