Was a great experience.. I have an 08 jetta that one day just dogged out on me ... Berk over there help me out greatly with getting my problem resovled as quickly as Corona would allow..... and to make matters even funner.. on my way home my car ended having another issue completely separate from the first and I made it home.. but the car was unable to make the return trip ..... so Berk went as far as getting my car towed back over to his shop and got me up and running the following day..... my car has been running like a champ ever sense .... totally would recommend this shop to any European car owners...

Ive been going here for 3yrs and recently decided to no longer go here to get my car serviced. Due to the owner being rude the majority of the time I have to bring my vehicle in to get serviced. I have been going here because there are not to many shops in San Antonio that service Audi. Dont get me wrong the work is good, but I refuse to spend my money and time at a place where the owner is constantly rude after I have been a faithful customer for 3yrs.

This place is awesome. Ive had a few issues with my 535i and havent had anyone give a breakdown and tell me a game plan that was as accurate as this place. I recently took my car to the local BMW to have them look at it and German car specialist did a much better job on finding the issue in a short period of time. And the price is much cheaper than the dealership. They were very courteous, professional, and confident in their ability to fix my issue. This will be the only shop I take my BMW to from here on out.

I was purchasing a 996 and was meeting the seller in San Antonio. I researched 3 separate shops in the area and got quotes on the specific services I needed following the purchase, including the IMS retrofit. This was by far the most fair priced and transparent quote I received since every detail was itemized. They also accommodated my scheduling. Everything went smooth and the car runs like a top. Ive taken my 2001 BMW Z3 to German Car Specialists four times over the past few months. Berk has been nothing but great to work with. My air oil separator was failing. The dealership gave me an estimate that I did not think was reasonable and so I looked for an alternative. I found German Car Specialists to be highly rated and seemed to have a bit of experience in repairs of my particular make. I have always taken my car to the dealer to get work done but after getting my passenger side light bulb changed in my 2010 Audi A5 with German Car Specialist, I will going to them for all my maintenance.The owner took the time to show me the what was wrong with my headlights, showed me which part I needed and offered to give me the bad bulb. Let me say after living in Germany for 12 years I have had no luck in finding outstanding mechanics at a reasonable price till I went to Berk and his mechanics at German Car Specialist. Berk serviced both our Porsche 911 and Cayenne quickly, professionally and at a very reasonable price. I can not emphasize strongly enough that if you are looking to have your Porsche serviced then you have found your place with the gang at German Car Specialist.

I have a 2010 Audi B8 S5 MT. Berk, Mark and crew have my car running better than when it was new. Currently, DBC has performed a thorough Carbon cleaning of my manifold and all valves, lowered the car with new springs, spaced the wheels so that the car looks correct when sitting and rolling, complete alignment, went through the car and replaced worn parts as needed, installed my AWE touring exhaust and now have mapped out Phase II for my car. What do I like about these guys other than they are German mad scientists? They are honest and thorough. If something does not need to be fixed, they dont create a problem where one does not exist. Nothing is cheap about owning a German car. We are buying precision engineering and such a machine requires precision tuning and mechanics. These guys have it all. German precision with Texas honesty and hospitality.

Driving from the Valley to San Marcos had an issue with my coolant. They waited for me although it was close to closing hours, and turned out to be an easy fix with very little cost. Honest people all around. Very helpful folks.

Every time I have taken my car here I have not had a single problem. They always get it done quick and help me out above and beyond. I needed a last minute total AC replacement under extended warranty and not only did they do it the same day, they did all the dealing with the extended warranty company. All I had to do was drop off the car and then pick it up. My questions are always answered quickly and correctly and you cant beat the prices for the work done. I own a fully loaded 2013 Audi S5 that has had a ton of work done by DBC. I first took my Audi to DBC based on a simple Internet search looking for APR dealers, DBC came up, I called the shop to find out how much it would be to order and install a full AWE exhaust and also install a Stage 1 APR tune. I called the shop and got a hold of the manager named Berk. At first contact one might be instantly turned off by his short concise to the point demeanor which kind of feels as if he is in a hurry and hurrying you. I got through this quick discussion and still decided to take a chance and bring my prized S5 to his shop for work. Arriving at the shop the first thing I noticed is his place is immaculate, as I am a paranoid customer who only wants the best touching my ride. So as I sat in the waiting area and I begin to realize why Berk is so curt and short on the phone, his place is BUSY! I barely got five uninterrupted minutes of his time to sit down and talk about the options I wanted done on my Audi. He runs a five person shop with him handling all of the phone calls, in and out customer traffic up front while stepping in the back to make sure things are running smooth.He took me on a quick tour of the work area in the back and I have to say you could probably eat off the floor it is so clean. I was immediately sold and decided to make the commitment and ordered the full AWE exhaust system and patiently waited. The custom exhaust system took a little longer than I anticipated, but I tell it was truly worth the wait!The team at DBC tuning did an absolutely phenomenal job installing the full exhaust system and Stage 1 APR tuning. Not one issue, not one flaw, no issues at all. Their cost seemed high at first when we talked about the install, but after seeing their work, it was all worth it, you get what you pay for! I have since brought my Audi back for an APR Stage 2 super charger pulley upgrade installation and tuning as well as a alignment after an installation of H&R OE Springs. All of these installs were flawless as expected!DBC tuning will be the only shop that I will be bringing my Audi S5 for any work in the future, period! Had a air conditioning issue with my Audi A6 and saw the good reviews and decided to call. Berk was pretty backed up but though it could be a common sensor problem and said if I would bring the car by today he might be able to fix on the spot. I stopped by and in about 10 minutes and less than $100 I was back in business. Very clean and profession shop. I will definitely use them in the future and recommend to others.

I took my Audi A4 2.0T to Berk for an oil change during the second week of April 2017 for a morning appointment. The oil change was completed in a timely manner. Also had Berk troubleshoot a check engine light. During checkout I was informed my vehicle needed a purge valve replacement and that I was in need of a timing belt change (scheduled maintenance). I was quoted a total of $1075 for both items. I brought my car in three weeks later (4 May 2017) for the needed maintenance. My Audi was completed sooner than expected and it turns out my cost was a little cheaper than quoted.TL;DR - Berk was attentive to the needs of my car, service was quicker than on-time, and customer service was excellent. I will continue to be a customer for the lifetime of this Audi and any future Audis I may acquire.

Audi wants to charge $3000 for rotor, pads, and sensors on all four wheel on a 2017 S6. I called four specialty shops and GCS beat them all. I was able to get the car in the next day.

Ive lived in multiple cities and taken my car to dealerships and others. German Car Specialists has been the best experience by far. Berk is a true professional and great to work with. Ive had a couple of issues resolved on my BMW including an oil leak. Everything was completed on time and at a good price. I will continue to take my car here.

DBC Tuning is the best. I only take my Audi A4 to DBC. Its hard to find a honest mechanic in this day and age. DBC is both true and honest. The staff is always professional in every way; explains what is wrong with your vehicle, and what needs to be done to correct any problems. If you have a European car, take it to DBC Tuning, they will take care of it.

I was really lucky to have found this place. I took my 525i in for a new starter and because of how affordable the work was, I took care of a leaking gasket while I was in. The work was completed in both cases before expected. There was no pressure on me to approve work and at no time did I feel that I was/would be taken for a ride. So friendly, too. I received calls throughout the entire process. At the cost of sounding cheesy, Id say that youre in good hands here.

I recently had some parts installed and I would not have taken my car anywhere else. Great place been taking my car here for 2 years. They do awesome work if there is going to be an additional costs they always call first to let me know whats going on. The only place in San Antonio I can take my car and leave it and not be worried. Definitely recommend if you need anything done on your German car.

Ive been taking my cars here since 2010. Ive had everything done from oil changes, tire rotation, suspension, APR tuning, major repairs due to hitting HWY debris, and wheel/tire purchase. Not only is the service top notch but everyone that works there is super cool! These guys know their stuff, they will work with you and try to make anything you need happen. Take your car to them, you wont be disappointed.

This last week I drove from Oregon to San Antonio, Texas to take delivery of a Porsche 911 4S 996. After purchasing the vehicle I immediately took it to Berk at German Car Specialists for service to make sure it was running in the best condition possible. Berk replaced the IMS bearing upon multiple other recommended services to make sure I felt secure in driving this 911 for thousands of miles to come. This company takes care of you. Theyre incredibly passionate about the work they do, their technicians are the best in the business, and they get things done in a timely manner. In my scenario multiple Porsche specialists worked on my car at the same time. If you have a German car, and you need anything done (even just an oil change) call them. You wont regret it.

The gentlemen at DBC Tuning are always very professional with customers and their vehicles and willing to go the extra mile to make the experience enjoyable. I am a day one customer, I have only ever had excellent service on my vehicles at DBC Tuning. I am the proud owner of a 2008 R32 and DBC Tuning is the only Auto Repair Shop that will ever have the pleasure of maintaining and upgrading my car. My R32 will not be touched by any local VW dealer as the level of customer service and quality of work is far greater at DBC Tuning.

I bought my 2008 BMW 650i at the beginning of 2014 and have brought it to DBC tuning for any and all maintenance and repairs. Berk and his team have always been nothing but professional and helpful. I dont feel like they are any other car shop, they have a genuine interest in European cars and are honest with me in all my questions. The turn around time is incredible also! I never have to worry about waiting a ridiculous amount of time for my car to get returned to me. I highly recommend this shop to anybody thinking about bringing their car here.

I had such a good experience at German Car Specialists that I was tempted to try to keep it to myself lest everyone find out just how efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly they are. My GTI had a misfire, and it was diagnosed and repaired before I could finish the magazine article I was reading... Wow! A+, I will be back for all my service and hopefully for a tune in the future!

Very impressed! This is the fast, friendly and thorough expert I was looking for to care for our VW and Audi. Definitely exceeded our expectations.

I have a 1999 Saab Viggen which is very difficult to find parts for. I have taken it to multiple other repair shops and had horrible service. It is very difficult to find a good shop that can work on Saabs. DBC is excellent! They are experts at working on all European cars and provide excellent service. The employees are friendly and honest.I recommend taking your car to them, you will be amazed at how great a job they do!

I’m a college kid who bought a bmw when everyone said it was a terrible idea, if it were not for these guys and they’re incredibly fair pricing and great work I’d be saying everyone was right! They’ve always been quick, to the point and fair. I can guarantee there isn’t a better shop out there, I’ve checked and nobody comes close!

Good service at fair price - all delived with German humor...hmmm, is there such a thing? Never mind. This place is fresh air compared to the ravenous staff at the dealer😝

I have used them for the last 5 years for service and maintenance on my Porsche Cayenne S and the work has always been performed in a professional manner at what I consider to be fair prices, especially when compared to dealer pricing.
