I went in today because I ran over a curb and I had something hanging off the bottom of my car. I went in and spoke to the man at the front desk who was very friendly. I dont know the name of the man who repaired my car, but he was a very nice gentleman who even offered to have the repair free of charge. I couldnt believe it, but he fixed my car to where there was no dragging, and it only took around 5 minutes. Im extremely grateful to the man who repaired my car, and also the workers here who made it a smooth process. Ill definitely be recommending this location to anyone who needs extra care!

I heard about this business from coworkers. When I needed my brakes replaced, I made an online appointment. I was speaking directly with Chad Miller who is very hands on in every aspect of the business. I even requested a last-minute oil change and they were able to accommodate me. I stayed in the waiting area (but they do offer complimentary to and from shuttle service) and my car was out in 4.5hrs. Awesome experience which is hard to come by in the automotive industry. On top of it all, the cost was very fair!

I have known Chad for at least fifteen years, starting when he was service manager for another employer. Chad Miller Auto Care gives great value for they cost of service. If they notice more service will be needed, they will let you know and provide a cost estimate with alternatives. Unless there is a factory recall item, I always take our vehicles to Chad Milled Auto Care. I highly recommend this business.

Everyone is great at communicating the issues with the car and being very clear about required repairs and remaining true to estimates. My insurance company was not very easy to deal with and Chad was great about working through with them and making sure my repairs would get completed. Absolute pleasure to work with them and while I never hope I need to have repairs done, I know where I’m going when it does need to happen.

Took in our vehicle for some work and they not only identified the issue quickly, but repaired at a fair price. The great reviews are definitely earned and already took another vehicle for some work. My mother took her Saturn Outlook in for an Oil sending unit replacement. First they charged $90 for a part that is easily found for $30. I understand the need to make a profit and stay in business, but that seems excessive. The worse part is the $499.88 labor charge to replace it. I have seen it done with a little of work without removing the alternator. She was charged 3 hours labor according to the gentleman I spoke to when I questioned it. I think $600 for an oil sending unit is taking advantage of my 77 year old mother, She even had her front brakes done so she spent another $600 dollars which I dont object to even though I think thats a little high, She had to ask for a parts and labor break down after I asked her for it. That is not a good business practice to just give a bill that doesnt break anything down. I advised her not to go there again.

I tried to explain what I needed. I told the man on the phone that I had the codes and knew what needed replacing. He then told me my source didnt know for certain their findings were correct and they were very busy.So I took my vehicle elsewhere and well what do ya know. My source was correct I spent 975.00 and Truck is fixed and running great.My point in writing this review is to maybe strike some kind of chord in the rep and or owner that even though he or she might be correct to make the customers feel unimportant or that they may be ignorant should be squashed and to make them feel like they matter and you would do everything possible to get then up and running.

I just moved here from California and was desperately looking for an honest mechanic (something extremely rare; especially in CA.) I must say that Chad and his crew are all extremely kind, honest, professional and experts at what they do. After my first service and experience with them, I will not trust anybody else to touch my vehicles. Chad was unlike any other mechanic that I’ve met! I will make sure to refer him to anybody that I find that needs service done.They even had a driver to take me back home! I have 2000 C280 and I needed to have the passenger signal light. It not as simple as the Driver side because of the pipes to the breather. The owner Chad when to the trouble of changing the light and he didn’t charge anything. GREAT SERVICE

Took my vehicle in for an alignment and look over after losing control on the ice and hitting a curb at 20-30mph. I did not have a mechanic that I was familiar with so I once again looked to Google. In typical fashion, the high ratings for this place of business were accurate! Chad, the owner/operator, was on site and greeted me immediately upon walking in. He listened to my concerns about possible suspension damage due to the nature of the impact.My initial impression was that he runs a tight ship and knows exactly what is going on with every vehicle in the shop at any given moment.The next day, I received a text that my vehicle was ready and that it only needed an alignment. I was happy with the outcome and also pleased that he didnt attempt to sell me any additional service or parts. Very honest! I ended up picking up the vehicle on the following day. In the back of my mind I was also concerned because there was a hail storm in SA while the vehicle was there. I asked Chad if there was any hail at the shop. His reply was yes, but then added that he came up there after hours to move his customers vehicles into the garage so that they would not be damaged! This speaks volumes about his sense of ownership and responsibility. Cost for service was very reasonable as well. Chad Miller Auto Care is now my go to auto shop.

I am typically the cynic when it comes to service people and mechanics but Chad so far has done a great job of being straight up with costs and what needs to be done. Costs are in the correct ranges and in the very last time I took my truck in, arguably they werent at fault for overlooking a particular seal but they took responsibility and repaired it with labor

I have a 2000 Ford Taurus station wagon that had a litany of issues: Windows that would not go up or down; a power steering fluid leak; a check engine light that glows constantly; A/C not cooling properly.... They had to keep the car for four days (finding certain parts for a 20 year old vehicle must have been a challenge!). But this was no big deal since I have recently taken early retirement.Anyway, I took it to the shop on Monday a couple of weeks ago and picked it up on that Friday. And I have to tell you, their service was INCREDIBLE!! It felt like I was driving a BRAND NEW CAR!!! Now, I love my station wagon (remember those?) and I want to keep it as long as possible (172,000 miles+ so far).There is an electronic sign in front of the shop that says San Antonios Top Shop... that is ABSOLUTELY CORRECT!!! This was the first time I went to this shop, and it SURE AS HELL wont be the last!!Special thanks to Chad and his WONDERFUL team of skilled professionals!!!

I went to Chad Miller because my check engine light was on. I was able to quickly schedule an appointment and their office was open when I arrived, even thought it was before 7am. They were polite, offered a ride if I needed one and quickly diagnosed the problem. The cost was very reasonable! I also asked them to check out my brakes, which they did, and they let me know they were great and did not need anything. I was traveling from TX to work remote in NY. So I needed to make sure my 2010 suv could get me there & home safely. They did a thorough review of my suv & I chose the most important things to fix for the trip since it had been a 2-3 yrs since I had any real repairs done. Im happy to say the suv did great! Posting this a bit late, but I got my car worked on here early this summer and absolutely would recommend! They were friendly and helpful, honest about the repairs my car would need and how I could get them done most cheaply, and incredibly understanding when I let them know I couldnt afford any further repairs at the moment. They charged me only for the work they had done and even helped me and my dad hook the car up to a tow dolly. Im living in a different city now, but if I ever return to San Antonio and need any work done on my car, will definitely be going to this place again!

I recently just moved into San Antonio, and finding a garage that isnt a chain and a garage I felt I could trust, was stressful. Chad and Jason are fantastic. I took my car in for a check engine light that originally read a misfire for an ignition coil or spark plug. Chad and his team quickly diagnosed my vehicle and found the culprit to be a faulty fuel injector. Not only was I not charged for their initial assessment but they gave me a fantastic price on the parts and labor. In fact when the final bill came in it was $120 cheaper than what they quoted me. They also gave me a ride home and picked me up when my vehicle was ready. I cannot stress enough how fantastic the overall service was at this place. Just listening to their interactions with customers gave you the satisfaction that they are there to help and not nickel and dime you. I usually do my own work on cars, if I can, but I was short on time last week and the brakes needed work. Had some other nagging issues I decided to entrust with them too. They are not your bottom dollar mechanic, but the service is well worth it. Very thorough inspection, did excellent repair work, and above all, they were extremely good communicators throughout every step of the process. I hate spending money on mechanics, but somehow enjoyed this experience. I will be returning in the future!

My vehicle Lexy lost her power steering. I knew what the problem was, but didnt know the specific issue that could be causing it.I had passed by Chad Miller Auto Care hundreds of times, so knew it was close by. It was easy to set up an account online and request an appointment. They also sent out reminders to insure the time/day was still good. If needed, they also provide a courtesy shuttle back home or to work. The waiting area is clean and casual.Mr Miller let me know the issue, what needed to be done and the fee. Fearing the worst, I was relieved to find out it was less than I expected...and that was the final cost. And it was done quickly. The power steering is again performing as it should.I am certainly appreciative they did not present me with a list of additional items that could be a potential problem and should be addressed. They did the job I brought my vehicle in for and will be the place I go for any other issues.

I got there at 5:41 pm, they were closing when I got there! Trust me I work in retail and I know how irritating it is to be the customer who arrives after closing! BUT the guy (I wish I knew his name) was sooo welcoming, he went through the trouble to change my tail light and after all that work, he said you’re set to go, come back & see us again! Great place to get quality service. My car AC was blowing hot and stopped at a few places closer, but they wanted to keep the car overnight or give me a high price without even diagnosing issues. Dropped my car at Chad and he topped off the freon for a good price and had the car back to me in a few hours. I got a courtesy call two days later to make sure everything was working well. Thats just how good and thoughtful they are!

Great place to bring you vehicle. The staff inside was friendly. Mr. Miller himself was a joy to be around. You can tell he took his job seriously but was also concerned himself with the client (me) to make sure he was bringing great service. I was never disappointed in his service or pricing. I was disappointed in myself for waiting so long to get service and I feel he heard that in my voice. He quoted me a price and got started. When I went pick up my car and pay, it was cheaper than what he quoted. They even did extra things like getting my turn signal working and propping up something that was hanging from my the bottom of my car. I cant express how impressed I am with this service. I normally have a guy who works on my car but this was an emergency and needed this done ASAP. The job was completed in a day and I was back on the road. The reviews are true and if anybody ever recommends this place, its cause they had a great experience as well and I would trust them. Thank you Chad Miller and your awesome employees as well. I took my wife’s car in to Chad’s shop today and had an absolutely wonderful experience. He could have easily sold me unnecessary repairs, because what 100k car doesn’t need something, but he did not do that at all. Had to have the catalytic converters replaced on my F150. Had some issues with the replacement converters. Chad had the issues repaired in a timely manner with no additional charges. Very pleasant waiting area. Chad is easy to talk with and works hard to please his customers. Very clean shop and parking area. I am a very happy customer and will go back when additional service is needed.

Do not go to this shop. Chad the owner likes to bad mouth other shops in front of you. I went in for an alignment just for him to ask why we need one. When I said we had inner and out tie rods done including upper ball joints he decided to start bad mouthing the shop cause that shop didn’t have an alignment machine. I do not think bad mouthing other shops for your gain is good business. He also while I was already outside getting in my vehicle came outside to have a confrontation. This shop is not good in my eyes. I will be contacting the BBB on this.

My Camry had an issue with the speedometer, signals, AC, etc. I brought it here since they have very good comments, and they told me they will run diagnostic test which could take 10 or 20 hours until they find the issue...I left my car over there for 2-3 days and called them since they have not got me back. I asked them what was the issue and how much will it cost to fix, the guy told me the issue was on ABS module and it will cost $2.2 K to replace it (That was the first thing that I found online when I wrote the symptoms of the car and the replacement would only take 15 min and cost $200) When I told him that I already try that and it did not work, he told me something irrelevant and got mad.I took the car to another place where they told me the diagnostic would not take more than 2 hours which it should be like that (As a mechanic you should be able to find the problem in reasonable time like 2 hours not in 20 hours). And the issue was at the fuse box, and cost $450. Do not fall into nice comments in here.

Chad Miller Auto Care was extremely professional and knowledgeable of the work theyre doing to all their cars! I wasnt sure going in what my car needed, and they broke down the pricing for my 2015 Range Rover repairs and even gave me a little discount as well. I dropped my car off before work and they provided a shuttling service so I could go about my day without worrying about my vehicle. They fixed my break pads/rotors and gave me an oil change all while I was at work and it was done by the time I got off. Very pleased. I will definitely be returning for all my foreign car needs in the future!

The first time I came here, they took a look at what was wrong with my car and let me go fix it elsewhere without charging a cent. The second time, they fixed it up very quickly and charged me a fair price. I also love their ride service. It takes a lot of strategic, smart effort to run a business this smoothly. I needed my ABS computer re-programmed. Many shops dont have the software only dealerships. Chad carries the complete software. I didnt have to waste a day waiting on a dealership to over charge me. Also while I was deployed my wife brought her Jeep in with a problem. Chad was honest and told her that it was something that should be covered by the manufacturer drivetrain warranty. He even called and helped guide her where to go.

The other day I went to Chad Miller Auto because I was pretty sure that my hub assembly was bad. After Mr. Miller had my vehicle in the bay and took my tire off, he came to show me what the real problem was which was just a bald spot on my tire. His mechanic simply rotated my front and back tires for the meantime so my vehicle wouldnt wobble. Then, a few days later I went to get my vehicle inspected at another place and the shady mechanic Rick from the Goodyear place in the shopping center next door failed my inspection because he said all my lights were out which was bs because I never had any issues with the lights. So i went by Chad Millers. Mr. Miller himself in the middle of his lunch came out to my vehicle immediately start checking my lights. He pulled my instrument panel off, connected my light switch and said it looked like someone had tampered with my switch which I know it was shady Rick at the Goodyear shop. He checked all my lights, replaced 2 bulbs in my taillight and sent me on my way and did this in about 10 minutes. Ive never met a more honest man and great mechanic. Mr. Miller, Im very grateful and I will never take any of my vehicles to another shop except for his. Thank you!

My boyfriend went to take my car in for a major oil leak that I had. We’re both in our early 20s and don’t know too much about cars. My boyfriend explained to me that Chad was nice enough to let him have a look under the car and better explain to him exactly what the problem was in a way that was easy for him to understand. Chad kept him updated about the work that needed to be done and why, along with giving us an estimate right away. They even took my boyfriend back home since he didn’t have a ride at the time. Everyone was super friendly and honest. Picking up my car was a fast and easy process and they made sure to reiterate what was done and that I left happy. A few days later, I even got a call from the shop to see how my car was running! The team was very thorough, efficient, and informative.I like that they listened to my problems and what I was experiencing with my car and they immediately had an idea of what could be wrong and successfully progressed to solve the issue.The staff I had the pleasure of meeting was very friendly and courteous, and explained what they did in a very understanding and informative manner.The prices are exceptionally reasonable and I appreciate that in the estimate, the price included the evaluation, parts, and services, so you you knew upfront what to expect.I also really liked that they solved the issue I presented them with and didn’t try to swindle or add any additional necessary fixes, which so often happens at many other auto repair places, and many of which I haven’t returned to.I can honestly say that with any future car needs, I will be going back. Chad and his team are some of the most genuine people Ive met in San Antonio! Its obvious they care about the cars they fix and meeting the needs of the owner. Fortunately for me, I only asked for a headlight bulb to be fixed, which they did, but they also went ahead and reattatched my bumper for me because it was hanging off.
