My 2010 STI sits outside in the Sun. It had protective film on the hood and fenders that had baked on there for 10 yrs. It was cracked, dry, stained and impossible to remove. I tried everything and it was going to take me forever and I seriously risked damaging the paint anyway. I was considering having the entire car repainted because it was looking pretty tired and that film had to get off there no matter what I did. I dropped it off with Drew (the detailer at Renown) to deal with. In his words, the film was kicking his ^(&*^ but he did it! Not only is the film gone, but my car looks like new again after he removed the film and detailed the exterior. I think the price for the work was fair and the quality of the work is fantastic. He saved me thousands of $$ since Im no longer even considering a new paint job - it just doesnt need it anymore!I wish I had a before picture - maybe Drew does, but the transformation was awesome. Just got my 1968 Corvette back from Renown and they did an incredible job on the restoration! I can now fully enjoy this awesome car that Ive had for 20 years. And WOW what a joy to drive now that the interior is complete and the brakes, AC, and suspension are solid. Thads level of knowledge, attention to detail and the care he took in restoring my ride was amazing. He treated it like it was his own car and all along the way I was given options and recommendations that resulted in a beautiful restoration. I just picked up my 1969 Mustang GT after having the entire wiring harness and engine rebuilt. I could not be happier with the end result. Alan, Bill, Rupert, and the team did a phenomenal job on the car. Alan and Bill were excellent in keeping me informed on the progress and if there were any issues that needed to be addressed. Rupert, the mechanic, was extremely knowledgeable and knows so much about the mechanics of the car. Rudy and his team recently lowered and aligned my 2006 Ferrari. He and his team are extremely knowledgeable and competent at what they do. Brought in my wifes 64 Chevelle Super Sport convertible. The team at Renown did an incredible job adjusting the driver door and matching 30 year old paint on some ding spots. These guys are total perfectionist. Allen my service advisor was very accommodating and professional and John the paint and body man is unbelievably incredibly talented. My 1965 Ford Falcon was in need of a lot of love and care and Im very thankful that I found Renown Auto Restoration. I decided on a complete Resto Mod and they walked me through every phase of my project. I was able to bring my own ideas, but there were a lot of areas that I didnt have a clue what to do. The team at Renown Auto Restoration is exceptional. We have thoroughly enjoyed working w/ Bill and Alan on the restoration of my Father’s 1968 Cadillac ElDorado. Our internet search for a professional, competent and capable automotive shop led us to Renown. Bill and Alan were very responsive to emails and provided documents on how their shop operates Along w/ a guide to restoration. Both were informative and provided insight on what to expect. Our initial meeting and facility tour confirmed we were at the right place. The team assessed our vehicle and produced a detailed report of the items needing attention. We discussed options, costs and recommendations on how best to proceed. No sales pitches and their experience provided significant cost-savings. Currently repairs are occurring and we are being kept apprised weekly. We have visited along the way and Alan was kind enough to be w/ my Father when they picked up his vehicle and has picked my Father up so he could come see the progress along the way then returned him to his home. We cannot say nor thank the Renown team enough for the wonderful care they have provided our family and vehicle!

Was recommended to this business by a good friend. I had an issue with my 69’ Camaro, and decided to drive there and see what could be done. Was greeted by Jason and he immediately expressed concerns with my problem. Expert mechanic Alan conducted the work and had me back on the road in less than 2 hours. This type of customer service, especially with automotive shops is extremely rare. They earned a customer for life, thank you renown auto restoration!

I have nothing but the utmost respect for the quality of work and expertise from the staff and employees of Renown Auto Restoration. Over the years I have entrusted them to perform any and all work on my 1967 Stingray Corvette. This work has included body, paint, electrical, and mechanical. As with any new business they must first gain my trust. My first experience was about 7 years ago when I was looking into shops that could provide good and reliable service for my classic car. I visited other shops but after talking with and meeting with the staff and employees at Renown I decided this was the right shop for me. Like any other owner of a classic car I treat my corvette like a baby. I would never let anyone work on my corvette unless I had complete trust in what they were doing. And I expect when I have any work done on my car that it be done professionally and with the utmost attention to detail. I cant tolerate having work done and then finding out that work was not done correctly. In all of the years entrusting Renown Auto with my car I can gladly say I have always been completely satisfied and have never had to take my car back for a problem. Two years ago I had some body work done and there were certain areas of the car which needed painting. As with any paint the paint tends to loose its luster over the years. My car was no exception. The paint on my car was over 12 years old and was not original to the car. During the painting process Renown was having issues matching the shade of the paint. I received a call from Bill Brown explaining the problem to me. He asked me to come in and look at the paint. While meeting with Bill he explained to me that the primary concern at Renown is to exhaust every means to make the customer happy. He proposed that Renown would do a complete painting of my car at no cost to me. I know this was very expensive. But Bill said he wanted me to be completely satisfied and my happiness outweighed any cost. Bill said the reputation of the company was more important then the cost to repaint the whole car. I was totally amazed at what he suggested. Bill provided me with samples of different color shades that I was able to choose from. The paint on my car was so amazing. My faith and loyalty to Renown is unshakable. They have proven time and again over the years they are the only company that I can trust. As of this posting my car is at Renown Auto where it is receiving a substantial amount of restoration work. The engine has been completely rebuilt, the car is being completely rewired, new ac is being installed with Vintage Air. Just too many things to make a complete list in this posting. If anyone would like to talk with me or see my car I am always available. I would love to talk with or show my car to anyone that is thinking about doing a restoration with Renown. I am sure once you see my car or talk with me you will be convinced that Renown Auto is the only company you will need.

The crew at Renown Auto Restoration is above and beyond the tops. When my 67 Camaro rs had door hinge problems and with one door off, the car was immovable. Bill Brown, Business Manager, sent two of his mechanics to my house to help out. Wow!!! Then when it was discovered I need new hinges for both doors, they had my car in and out of the shop the same day.I have had the good fortune to have a nice long chat with Bill about the operation and I have since referred everyone I can to Renown Auto Restoration.They ARE that GOOD!!!!!

I took my 66 stang for body panel adjustments. They did a great job and had it done CHEAPER than the quote. I’ve gone back since for a door hinge and inside door panels. I wouldn’t go to anyone else !

I am stoked about my 68 Firebird I just got back from Renown Auto. The attention to quality and detail on my car was amazing. Bill was accommodating with my budget and worked with me to make my dream come true. The staff was amazing with suggestions and ideas regarding body modifications and paint and actually came up with a paint color and scheme that was well beyond what I had in mind. We had agreed on a deadline as I had a gathering and wanted to show off the car. Renown delivered and everyone who saw the car was astounded. Ive been working on my project for 3+ years, Renown has been doing the fabrication/paint and major systems work and I have been pleased with the communications and quaility of the work. They have worked with my sometimes crazy schedules and availability and kept the project moving. Car is now almost complete and Im looking forward to getting it out on the road

Don’t waist you’re time

Took my vehicle here for an insurance claim and waited and waited and waited for the business manager Bill to respond with an estimate to repair. Still waiting and Im very disappoited with no response from Bill. Why do business with these people? Obviously dont expect any timely response from this place of business! Just fair warning they are so busy gouging people for quality work can t and dont take care of the people who come to them for help. I dont know who owns this shop so maybe they will be alerted by this review. I will not refer anyone to this place of business and I will go out of my way to tell my friends and associates to steer clear of this place for sure! Hope they gouge the wrong person and get the treatment deserved.
