Very professional and kind. I have an 03 town and country van limited. I purchased all the parts I needed for a tune-up @ advanced auto parts...I think that was the name of it. Anywho. Took them about an hour and a 1/2 to finish it. Very happy with the work and my van runs a bit better for my trip.

This place is the real deal! They really know what theyre doing and are honest about what what work actually needs to be done and what does not. Once again they saved me and got me on my way very quickly.

Very dishonest. Frank (owner?) is unable to understand or explain his own invoices. Claimed an extra “supplies” charge included things such as AC compressor oil and o-ring kits when these were already included as a separate line item. Higher mark up on parts than other shops, in addition to double and triple charging for small components necessary to repair. This is not standard practice at other shops as he claims. You will be stuck paying what they demand simply to recover your vehicle. Save yourself the headache and take your vehicle elsewhere.Update 9/2021: this AC replacement has now failed entirely

Mark and team quoted the repair of my Chrysler Town and Country minivan transmission. The local Dodge dealership wanted substantially more, and had no better warranty that what was offered by the AutoWorks team. Their transmission repair was top notch on my van, as was their previous work on my Honda Element and Jaguar XJ. I highly recommend AutoWorks to anyone in the greater San Antonio area.

I went into the shop for an oil change and after noticing my car was making noise from the drivers side tire area. I called multiple shops and chose Autoworks since they offered to check the noise for no charge. After figuring out the noise they fixed the issue for cheaper than I thought. The workers were also all very nice. Will definitely use in the future.

I brought my 2013 Fiat 500c to get worked on and the shop was very helpful. I had to get my driver window fixed, they replaced the motor and were honest and fair regarding the pricing. They also replaced my driver side mirror. They let me bring in my car before the shop opened and even gave me a ride to work and back to the shop when my car was ready. I will be bringing my car back here in the future whenever I need service.

For many years I have done all my own automotive maintenance, except for the really big things like transmissions and such. (Yes. I am female. So.) It took me a while to find a place I trusted, a place that takes as good care of my car as I do. AutoWorks is that place for me. I have had small and large repairs with them. The owner all the way down to the guy who drives the shuttle are professional and friendly. They have never ever given me the mansplaining talk for a repair issue. (Something, sadly, I have gotten many times in south Texas for automotive problems.) The prices are very good, their work is quality and most repairs can be done in a day, even a transmission. I recommend them to everyone.

Wont go anywhere else! This is a family owned business and they treat you like family. They remember my name and cars, treat me with respect, talk with me about repairs, have fair prices, and wash the outside of your car for free! Reason for 4 stairs instead if 5? Their waiting room could use an update(chairs have no cushion, no music or tv or wi-fi, nothing for kids, and no refreshments). They do offer you a ride if they are available and have free loner cars if available for overnight fixes (BUT beware these cars are old and not nice but theyll get you where you need to go)

Initially went for the convenient location to my office and AAA recommendation and ended up staying for the excellent repair and customer service. This shop is refreshing as you never feel that you are being taken advantage of and you are always educated on what needs to be done and why. And sometime they’ll even tell that nothing needs ro be done at all, which is very rare in my experience at other shops. I don’t only trust my fleet to AutoWorks, I also trust my and my family’s personal vehicles in their expert care. Highly Recommended!

These guys will fix your vehicle and suggest preventive measures but they absolutely do not pressure you to do anything that is not necessary like some places. They stand behind their work. We have been taking our company vehicles here since 1999.

*The only reason it is four stars is because you still have to pay, but thats how I do because auto repairs are just unproportionately expensive in general these days..*I trust these guys, and they were giving rides to and from the shop before this outbreak.They told me what was wrong before I comitted, they hooked me up with parts, and I think they fixed stuff that was not on the bill.Seems like theyve got some pretty good mechanics working for them, and Its a nice clean shop, but the guys are still dirty and theyre cool about it, not grouchy cool, like normal people doing their job..Thats a good sign

AutoWorks was great! They were very informative about the issues I had with my 9 year old car, and helped me to decide which problems needed to be addressed first and foremost, since I wouldnt be able to afford everything in one visit. And the final price ended up being less than they had originally quoted me, which was an added bonus (not to mention the fact that theyd also washed my car when they finished working on it). They were able to save some of the parts that were still in good shape, so they didnt charge me for things I didnt need.

I entrusted Autoworks to replace the head gaskets on my Ford F-150 after reading the review online. I must say, they were outstanding. Pricing was about average for the job, but their customer service was outstanding. Job came out great, cheaper than quoted, and my truck was washer when I collected it. I will entrust them with all of my future auto repairs.

Good service although a little pricey, they have good customer service and they stand behind their work, plus they have a shuttle that can take you back to your house and pick you up again when they are done with your car.Also note ot sure if they do this on every job but they washed my car. Also best customer service I experienced so far in the San Antonio area.

Bob and every person on his crew with whom I have worked have treated my concerns with care, have told me up front the issues that may be revealed by their inspection/diagnosis, have offered as many alternatives as they can think of for solution selection and have been very cognizant of my budget as a sole caretaker for my elderly parents.If you are a woman who is tired of being subtly put down by other repair shops for not knowing the lingo or have been shut down when describing your problem, call these guys.You will not receive better customer care than here.

If you need your vehicle repaired look no further! Frank was awesome! I took my truck in to have the a/c repaired and ask to give me a second opinion on other recommended repairs. After further review Frank talked me through their findings to include the warranty coverage. Due to a bad rear break seal he worked with my warranty service and was able to cover break pads and rotor saving me money! They had the vehicle done and ready when they said it was going to be done. In matter of fact they did one last vehicle check, found a bad headlight bulb, and replaced it for free! They have won me over and now have a life long loyal customer! I found AutoWorks on Angies List, they came highly recommended. I had a big problem with my brakes and was very worried at how much it would cost. Frank put my mind at ease, fixed what had to be fixed, let me know what didnt need to be fixed right then and came in way under my budget. Then a month later I had brought in my vehicle for some other work, Frank checked it out carefully and found something that needed to be fixed much more urgently than what I had brought it in for. He was able to get it fixed and part of the other work also and worked very hard to make it affordable for me but road worthy and safe. Everyone at AutoWorks is courteous, professional, knowledgeable, helpful...they always greet me, know my name...just an awesome feeling to be able to go in there and know they will always do their best and want me to feel safe and confident driving my vehicle. I will never take my vehicles anywhere else as long as I live in the area.

My car was there over 1 mo., plus they had already done the diagnostic, but I decided not to get the repairs done. But they charged me exactly $0.00!

These guys were charging me a markup of 285 bucks on a fuel pump that I can buy locally (same brand, same part) for 317. Thats a 89% markup.

I had a scheduled appointment and my car was serviced at that time. I will go back to them when I need further car service.
