We used this shop through our insurance and I wasnt satisfied with their service overall. The two stars go to two areas: People and Flexibility. Other three stars are empty because I was more unsatisfied than satisfied for quality, professionalism, and convenience. They are very kind people. I was frustrated at some point and regardless of my reaction to them, they were still nice and calm. They explained things in a way that I could understand well and made sense. As far as the schedule goes, they took a month to finish the job. I would say the damage to our car was mild so that it shouldnt take long at all but due to the global shortage of chips and parts, I would say they managed it pretty well.Quality of the work was not too bad but not satisfactory. I have been in car accidents many times and used quite a number of shop in the past. Sometimes, I would be wow, this looks like a new car and this time I was more like hm... okay. Should I move on or be more picky? Of course Im not engineer or technician so that I cant judge on the quality of job accurately but as a customer, I cant get away of the feelings that I get from the car that Ive driven for last 5 years.Professionalism on the customer service perspective was also not very satisfactory. On the day one, I came to the shop with an appointment that was setup by Geico and the agent from the shop checked in our car. Their partner Enterprises didnt have the rental car that we wanted so that we decided not to go with the Enterprises. Of course we needed to take care of the rental car issue first before leaving the car at the shop, but when we came back from other rental shop with a rental car, Associated Collision Center told me that they removed us from the system (or cancelled the order) so that if we wanted to drop the car, the next available estimate date was in October. We were just there a few hours ago! They ended up taking our car after going through our insurance and all but just the fact that they removed us without our decision wasnt very customer friendly system.Another instance was credibility of the information given by the shop. When I called the shop regarding the status of the part that was on the back order, one person said the part was in that day and when I called the shop three days later, the other person said the part came in the day before. I cant say who is right or not, but again as a customer, I would not get away from a feeling that I couldnt trust with the information given by the shop.Last part is how they kept us in the loop throughout the waiting period. Unless we called first, we never received a single phone call from them about the updates, issues, changes, or whatever. Even when I called, the person who was in charge of us was not available, which I would understand, but never called me back except once. I called about 5 times prior to that returned call and when I missed the call by a second and called them back, the person was not available already.I would not say to stay away from the shop because the quality was fair and people were nice and I believe that they couldve possibly done better with the customer service in different circumstances, but I would definitely say that if you have other choices, I suggest to do so.
WARNING !!! IF you have a choice to take your vehicle somewhere else, then you should do so ! This business showed very little professional courtesy or integrity . I cant even begin to tell you how many mistakes and lack of professionalism I encountered with this business. Even when given them the opportunity to make right the wrongs and I say wrongs (plural) because there were so many, they failed miserably !! Take the time to read the reviews. Do yourself a favor and find another place. I have never left a review on Google but encountered such a lack of professionalism from this business that I felt compelled to save any future car owners the frustration from the lack of competency this business demonstrated . I had to take my vehicle to the dealership in order for them to show me the truly catastrophic mistakes this business made on my vehicle !!! Do yourself a favor take your vehicle somewhere else !!! 11/2/2021. LOL in response to your reply from my original review. Deterioration of my vehicle due to old age had nothing to do with my issues which goes to show how very little you looked into my situation with your facility. All that much more for customers to BEWARE !!! This shop is only interested in how much money they can generate from either the insurance company or yourself
HELPFUL TO KNOW!!I had an appointment for a pick up of my vehicle through my insurance. I was called asking were I was. I informed her that this was a pick up and deliver. The receptionist was telling me she has never heard of that. I stated the insurance info about the pick up. I asked if this was something they dont provide i will ask for another repair center. She didnt mind me doing so and that was that. If that is their idea of customer service Im glad it was now that I know and not later. Thats why I rate two stars.
Truck was ready in 2 business days. Repair options were presented with costs and was able to choose the option I wanted. Very fair price. Excellent service from Liz. Highly recommend.
My daughter had her car towed here after she was involved in a accident with a hit and run driver because it was close to where she lived. Biggest mistake ever. Now they wont let her get her personal belongings from the vehicle ( debit card and purse) unless she pays her towing fee. Is this even legal? She has full coverage insurance and is in the process of making a claim but she really need her purse because her debit card is in there but they refused. Poor customer service to treat someone who has just been involved in a traumatic experience with a hit and run driver. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
Wow does my truck look brand new then when I went to pick it up they washer her from head to toe and detailed the whole vehicle with tire shine and the same in the interior.
Great experience as a first time customer. Staff was friendly and helpful. Big thank you to Felipe Saavedra and crew. Felipe and Candy took the time to guide me through the process from start to finish and patiently answered all of my questions. Appreciate all the help from everyone involved with fixing my car. Exceptional work and quality service!
2nd time Ive had work done here, and both have been great! David was amazing and explained everything to me in detail. Made sure I was 100% happy with everything before I left. Thanks!!
Great shop. They do amazing work here.
They installed new catalytic converters to my vehicle. The weld spots were very clean and well done. They were also very professional and had great customer service.
My right front tire blew out. It bent the tie rod. USAA recommended your shop, Associated Collision, for repair. They were able to take it right away. They kept me informed of the progress; and even though New Years Day and the week-end occurred that week, I had it back the following Tuesday. It was clean inside and had been washed and runs very nicely. The people at the front desk couldnt have been nicer. They were very accommodating, courteous, and professional. I would definitely recommend Associated Collision, on Thousand Oaks, to others!
My car has been there since march and am still being told parts are on back order, so i guess jm suppose to wait all year. Not to mention felipe is the most unprofessional and rude person ive ever spoke to from a repair shop.
Never been disappointed, prices are reasonable, amazing work, customer service is fantastic. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
You want facts? Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. After nearly burning up my car with their incompetence and pass the buck attitude on their mistakes, I cut my losses and moved on. I have an email trail that shows where their service writer asked me for part numbers for a part they broke during the repairs on my vehicle. After I got the car back the part was never fixed . . They refused to pay for that part stating it was not their fault - even though I have an email trail. In addition, they returned the vehicle to me with a bare 4 gauge wire exposed / hanging that was connected directly to the battery. This could have caused a fire if we had not caught in time. When I asked them about it, they again passed the buck and said the tow truck driver must have disconnected the battery cable. This was just a blatant lie (have two witnesses that were on site and followed the tow truck / car to their shop . . . tow truck driver NEVER popped the hood) and even if two truck driver had disconnected . . . what kind of auto shop lets a car leave with a fire hazard? I would open claim with Better Business Bureau, but that service is pretty much worthless. Thank you Yelp for providing the public with a great service.Other Issues:1. TPMS sensor was not programmed after they replaced the damaged wheel. Paid Alamo Toyota to fix this. (have receipt)2. Car still makes squeaking noise when turning. This is an extra car we use for running around, I had one of my employees pick it up. He told me when he arrived at our shop. I would have left the car there. They let car leave that was making noise?3. It appears they used the same tire that was in accident a few weeks later a huge bubble appeared on tire and I had to pay discount tire $150-$200 for new tire. (have receipt)4. They damaged the light bulb and the housing, going to order a new headlight housing today. Hence, remembering to leave this review and the nightmare dealing with this shop.5. Tried to blame State Farm for a part (strut) they did not put on the estimate and asked if I wanted to pay for the part and ask State Farm for reimbursement.BTW, I did like Liz and she seemed like she really wanted to help . . but obviously her hands were tied. I think she should find a job elsewhere. Liz, thank you for all you tried to do for us.
I’ve had work done twice. Liz is excellent in keeping me updated on progress.Very good quality
I chose this business because it is a Porsche certified location and Associated Collision did not disappoint. Excellent service, response and attention to detail.
Associated Collision Center Inc was OUTSTANDING! Professional, quick, attentive, and available. The front desk receptionists were very sweet. Most of all, this business actually seems to (CARE) about their customers experience. Not only did they perform the work, but they vacuumed and washed my vehicle without telling or asking. It was such a simple and sweet gesture and I really wanted to provide a 5 star review which is the least I could do to say thank you. Thank you Associated Collision Center for being so kind and quick. Accidents can be a rough and dark time for individuals, but you really made my my day by just caring. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Also, pricing is very reasonable. 5 Star Review for a 5 Star Business!
The staff was super nice and the quality of the work was A+. We saw the bad reviews but our experience was excellent! Would definitely recommend. :)
OMG!!! Had to get my hood repainted. I have a pearl white car, so I knew it was going to be a challenge to match the color - but AMAZING! It matches PERFECTLY, and you can’t even tell there was any work done! Super recommend this amazing place!
They did a quality job. My sat looks show room new
This place should be shut down. Straight up mess. Disorganized. Failed to call on status of car. I am very disappointed in this company. If your insurance gives you the option, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
Very happy with the work done here. Car looks as good as new. Staff was courteous and professional. They kept me updated through out the repair
It was a little bit delayed due to holidays. But staffs are kind and very helpful.
We took our 2020 Porsche Panamera GTS to them to repair a 4-inch scratch and were given a very specific quote. Days later we returned and left the car for the repair. When the car was ready, they presented us with a bill which was higher than the one quoted, and their excuse was that they had made an error in pricing the Panamera GTS logos - she had charged the wholesale price as opposed to the retail one. Instead of following ethical protocol, they refused to honor their quote. IMO, they should learn to choose their battles, because instead of absorbing a nominal error on their part, they fostered a sense of distrust and disappointment with a new customer. We all know a dissatisfied customer and a 2-star review cost a business much more than the small amount (
Wonderful service and on time! Would highly recommend.
Do not come here. Manager and owners are completely unprofessional. Reviews are exactly what they say I looked past it and learned the hard way.
Absolutely the best repair shop in town.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. THE WORST, UNPROFESSIONAL BODY SHOP IN SAN ANTONIO. They had my far for almost a month and NEVER FIXED IT RIGHT!! I also notified USAA to remove them from Preferred list after showing pictures amd telling my story. I was actually told my their estimator to tell HIM what I wanted fixed when he called me the 2nd time to tell me it was ready but it was STILL not fixed!!! I wish I would of read the 3.5 rating they have before I took my car ther . The rating should be WAY WORSE!!!
I had the entire passenger side of my F150 repaired here. I received an update occasionally throughout the process. The work looks good. Everyone I spoke to here was pleasant and nice. Overall, I am very pleased with the work and I would bring my truck back here for bodywork. without a doubt.
David was my consultant and he is awesome!
My experience with associated Collision has been nothing but great. Great customer service, great body work, they always answer the phone when I called them. Savannah was the person that kept me updated and informed throughout the process and overall did a wonderful job. I highly recommend this place. They even detail your car when its done
Zero stars if I could, this place let my truck sit for three days and never started the estimate for repairs. They let you accumulate their storage fees as well as their towing and miscellaneous fees. Paperwork is more like it. Whats worse is their attitude changed when I said I was not utilizing insurance. I ended up selling my truck to a junkyard, and when the tow guy showed up he asked about my experience with associated, I asked why and he said because they are jerks here. Validated my experience fully.
Took a friend to pick up a vehicle that had been repaired. Customer service is lacking ! One part of the repair was a tire replaced as well as the tire pressure sensor. Upon inspection of the vehicle we noticed the low tire pressure light was on. When we questioned the employee they responded by saying “oh that happens when the weather is cold!”I advised them I understand that it happens however, we requested the tire pressure be checked. The employee appeared to be annoyed. Excuse me but you just made thousands of dollars off the repairs . I hate to tell you but there would be no business if it weren’t for the customers. I would not recommend this place of business.
My first experience with this company was around 2006 when they were located on Freedom. They were very knowledgeable and personable then, their workmanship was excellent. When another vehicle needed repaired, they were no longer on Freedom. I was very disappointed thinking they just closed down. Ten days ago my 2009 Tahoe was broken into at a motel in Little Rock. They broke through the back seat window using a crowbar, damaging my door, window trim, and vinyl on my back door. Not a huge repair for a body shop, but a big deal to me. Trying to find a good body repair shop, my insurance agent mentioned ACC and advised me that prior to the Thousand Oaks location, they were on Freedom!! Relieved, I took my car over, spoke with Greg in Service and let him handle my car and my insurance!! Too easy! A week later, the repairs are completed, there is no evidence of damage, fantastic job of blending the paint and the car looks awesome! I hope I dont need body work again, but if I do, it will be repaired at Associated Collision. They have a customer for life! Thank you Greg and Associated Collision Center!
This is the best shop that I have ever been too. They went out of their way to make sure that I was satisfied and my car was fixed under budget and right.
David and the staff were excellent. Everytime I would call they would answer my questions quickly or get somemore who could. David kept me posted on the progress of the repair of my Jeep. I also received text messages on the progress as well. I was very satisfied with how the Jeep was returned to my family.
I’ve used different body shops in the past. I am an insurance agent and that is who I take my personal vehicles to. They do great work and are friendly.
Our family has used them twice now, and we have found them to be extremely honest and thorough. Their rates are very reasonable and they complete the work in a timely manner. We highly recommend them!
This is one of the best body shops around. They are top notch and always look out for the customer. Sometimes the insurance is the issue with hold ups. I would recommend them over anyone else in San Antonio. This is the third time I have had my vehicle for repairs and as always it will be done right.A very satisfied customer
They do not accept credit cards to pay for services over $1000.00. I left and went to my bank, got cash and they couldnt give me change. They charge a $25.00 per day storage fee. Very Bad customer service. Do no take your vehicle there.
I have had accident damage repaired at Associated Collision on three occasions. Once on a Porsche Cayenne and twice on a Hummer. I was referred to Associated as someone to take a high dollar vehicle to. They have never disappointed. The repairs have always been completed to the highest standards and the work has been top notch. I received frequent text updates on the progress of my cars and Liz has always been thorough and straight with me regarding cost, status, progress with insurance reimbursements, everything. I recommend them without reservation.
My family and I use Associated Collision to repair our vehicles when needed. The staff is very friendly!!! The quality of work they do is outstanding.
Wow! Even for a body shop they are dishonest and refuse to stand behind their work. When my truck was returned one of the windows that worked after the accident was no longer functional. Of course they are trying to wash their hands of it. Liz is very nice, if not very honest, and is in a bad position of having to be in front of the customer while a cabal of decision makers (Ron and Patty per the shop) never have to face that. When I picked up the truck Liz even explicitly promised that all windows worked! Shame on me for not verifying before leaving the lot but I expected more from them and USAA.Keep in mind all of this was after my pick up date was pushed back by three weeks due to the poor performance of the tech assigned to my vehicle according to Liz.More lies in the reply - the dealership did not make that determination. They stated that due to the fact that the motor is part of the assembly it is not possible to make that determination. Also, Liz explicitly stated on the Friday I picked up the vehicle all windows were working. I returned on Monday.Update 2 months after the fact - USAA had me take the truck to Alamo Toyota Collision because the skid plate was not reattached properly at the time of the repair. Alamo Toyota Collision looked at the passenger side window and the power supply had not been reconnected to the driver side door switch when it was reassembled. Associated Collision had every opportunity to stand behind their work and chose not to!
I had a minor collision. The car in back of me was rear ended and pushed into my rear bumper. ACC repaired my rear bumper in three days. My rear bumper looks brand new. They communicated with me through text messages and phone calls the whole way through, so I wasnt left wondering what was going on with my car. Overall, my experience with ACC was painless and easy and I received friendly customer service the whole way through.
Very pleased!! We will never go anywhere else for body work. Not only were they $200 cheaper than the place down the road everyone was very nice. My car looks even better than before. I received updates via text every day and my car was done right on time. Thank you Marion!!!
I wish I could rate ZERO starsI recommend that you DO NOT EVER bring your vehicle here. This place is so unprofessional! All of the staff including management have been nothing but rude and intimidating. My mom was an accident over three months ago and she still, to this day has not gotten her car back!!! It is a very long and stressful story...Horrible
Was referred here by USAA and was immediately met with unprofessionalism as I was attempting to get an estimate. The associate seemed like I was inconveniencing them and was interrogating me like I was a child. When I explained for a second time that I wanted two separate invoices for two separate repairs, the associate scoffed and stated that out of pocket expenses would be really high. Its not their job to dictate what I do with my money, they should worry about providing the services people hire them for. I will definitely contact USAA to ensure no one else is referred here. Just read through the other reviews and Im sure youll see a pattern.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Service adviser and I use the term loosely Liz, lies. Very poor attitude. Only sent my car there cause I was forced to send it somewhere. Tow truck driver said it was very secure lot. My question if so secure why Is there so many complaints and bad reviews about missing items from peoples vehicles. Anyway they offer text updates, yeah another fall. Got two over two weeks of car being there at same time too offer updates. Three weeks later two more. They had my car a total of six weeks. Liz never returned calls, I always had to keep calling back for info. After six weeks they tried HOLDING MY CAR HOSTAGE FOR PAYMENT FROM INSURANCE OF THE GUY WHO HIT US. I will Never recommend this place not will O ever return. TERRIBLE PLACE.
What a horrible experience. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I had a very simple bumper repair, and they couldn’t even do that. They put the WRONG parts on my car and then tried to turn it into me wrong. Then when the insurance company made them fix their error, then all of a sudden “found” another problem, which they “fixed” without asking me first. Because of that, they broke the water pump (which was brand new!) and then lied about what they had done. I ended up having to pay them to tow my car and now it’s at another body shop. What a waste of time and money 3 months later. Horrible experience!
Picked up my truck and my bed was full of gum wrappers and sanding pads. Buffing compound was all over my plastic trim and bed liner and was told that it would wear off. Its been three months and it has not worn off. Someone named Carlos paired his iPhone with my radio which makes me wonder what my truck was used for. Tried to call the manager and he was always unavailable.
Just a heads up to anyone thats in an accident. I was forced by the police officer to have my car towed here because it was on theyre list of places they use. I was told that the towing would be free as long as I brought it to one of their places. Well it was 6pm on a Saturday ( the business was already closed) they didnt reopen til Monday morning. Well when I got there Monday morning they told me i owed them $531 to get my car out of there bc I did not want to use their services. They charged me $175 for the towing (the officer lied) a $275 admissions fee and $25 a day storage fee.... they did absolutely no services on my car.... $531 FOR NOTHING! Theyre company, the city, and mission. Towing have a deal to rape people who have been in an accident!
I was in an accident and Tow driver forced me to choose a collision place off his list of where he goes. I chose Associated Collision because I am an insurance agent and we have previously met with them and referred clients to them. When my insurance co. said they would move my vehicle to my preferred place, Associated Collision held my vehicle 2 whole days while they prepared the paperwork and fees & then required $700+ to release my car of which they said $500 of those fees were admin fees. REAL SHADY BUSINESS. Just because a client has a different preferred place you charge an ABSURD fee to release their vehicle?!. Towing, Storage: all understandable. $500 admin fee - UNACCEPTABLE. I also requested to speak to manager to try to understand the situation and if this is regular normal business and the guy I spoke with said he would have him call me. He never called. I will NEVER refer a client to such a shady business again.
Thanks to Associated Collision Center for making a bad accident and a total loss of a car the best It could be. Special thanks to Kevin for all the help with in Ins Co. This Collision Center is TOP NOTCH would highly recommend them to anyone.
They totaled my car...a good thing but would definitely use them to fix it.
Even though i havent used their services, the lady up front guided me in the right direction with good customer service
Associated Collision did a real good job of getting my BMW looking back and as good as new. I was worried about how I was going to manage without a car while it was in the shop, but luckily they have an enterprise rental right there on site! Made getting in and out a breeze. 5 Stars for Associated Collision!
I would not recommend this place. I was charged multiple charges when no work was done when another customer of another race/ethnicity with the same issue as me with the car but she did not have the multiple charges. The manager Kevin lied and stated the admin fee is a fee to the city and mandatory I called the city . the city stated that was a false statement
Went with a friend to get a estimate lets just say cold unfriendly environment. Sure you have a Nice lobby but your customer service is lacking and after reading the many many reviews left by very unsatisfied customers we are going to a different place because I dont want to deal with yalls drama and games. You did not earn our business.
Highly recommend great work reasonable pricing and meticulous attention to detail
This company has no Quality, Expertise or Professionalism to work on high-end cars. I had to visit them 9 times because of quality issues, starting with paint runs, miss-alignment of body panels, missing parts, forgetting to paint areas of body panels, not able to install parts correctly, over-spray on the car and dirty engine bay. The list goes on and the problems kept being repeated because they could not get it right!!!So, if you need collision repair work on your Porsche, Lexus, BMW...etc. like they advertise and want it messed up, then by all means take it here...
This place is a joke! I would give a negative star if I could. These are the rudest set of people as a whole company that I have ever in my whole life had the displeasure of having to do business with. Lousy, rude and racist customer service. I will never recommend these people to anybody!!! DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCREWED OVER REALLY GOOD!!
Wrecker took my car to this place after an accident. My insurance called them with me on the phone to release my vehicle. When I show up for my belongings they tell me I needed an appointment and did not allow me to see the vehicle. I cordially submit to their policy and setup an appointment for an hour later. After an hour I arrive only to wait another 20 minutes because they misplaced my file. After determining there was no file an adjuster came out to take me to my vehicle but first offered me someone elses car keys (with a different name on the key tags) and insisted they were mine. I showed them that I had my keys on me which they said they needed for the wrecker. I denied them my keys and told them I wanted access to the vehicle first. While gathering my belongings she insisted again that I give her my keys, I asked her for some space which she complied. Afterward I told her I didnt feel comfortable handing keys over without talking to my insurance provider. I must have struck a nerve because she yelled at me to get out - then asked if I gave permission to release the car as she was walking away! These children at this collission center need to get their act together and grow some thicker skin.Avoid this place at all costs!
Was in a accident on I 35 last June, and my 2015 Rav 4 was badly damaged. I was in the wrecker, and had no idea where to go with my vehicle. My insurance had Associated Collision Center on their list, so thats where we went. I was treated with kindness and patience and total professionalism. It was a relatively long process getting all the needed work done, and Associated Collision even stepped up and helped me with my rental car costs and in the end they did an OUTSTANDING job on my Rav 4. You cannot even tell any damage was ever done to it. They have won me as a lifetime customer, and should I ever need collision repairs again I will most definitely go back to them. Thank you Associated Collision Center.
I would never take my car here again. They claim to have free estimates but they want to charge $50 an hour to tear it down and see whats wrong.
Spoke with Elizabeth this morning about our Jetta. We were in an accident yesterday afternoon and they were the closest secured shop where we could drop it off. Although the vehicle is being towed to Caliber (recently had work done there and they were great!), Elizabeth took the time this morning to look at our Jetta in closer detail to estimate if it may be a total loss. Without going into a full blown repair estimate, based on her years of experience and the significant visible damage to the car, in her estimation she felt it was a total loss. She didnt have to do this, but as a professional courtesy shared her findings with us. I find it truly refreshing and professional. If the Jetta wasnt already going to Caliber (based on our past experience!), I feel this is a professional shop that I would feel comfortable with repairing our VW! Thanks to Elizabeth and Associated for their time and trouble! :)
They do awesome work and have a great staff that are very professional and knowledgeable!
My car has been there for 5 weeks and I get the same answer every time I call. It is getting prepped for paint and should be ready in a couple of days. That has been the answer for 2-3 weeks now. No apologies given. No thanks given. No understanding of being left without a car. They are being paid at least $7000 by my insurance to get the work done, thats a lot of money to be paid and not give 2 craps about the car or the customer.
Horrible customer service!. My truck was towed there after a collision over the weekend so I stopped by this morning to get my garage door opener and other personal items. They told me I needed an appointment, I responded really just to get something out of my truck? so they made me wait another 15 min. for someone else to come out and give me this long routine how I should of made an appointment because theyre lot is huge, its 3 acres. Since when is 3 acres HUGE! I can throw a rock across 3 acres. Then she rudely said she would have to check if she had another appointment, I replied, you didnt know that before you came out of your office. What is with these people! I think the lady did not want to go out in the rain, not to mention that everything they did was in slow motion. If my employees moved this slow and were this apathetic toward customers I would surely replace them. So I finally gave up and told them I would be having my truck towed to Northside Ford Collision Center. I suggest the owner of Associated Collision send his staff to customer service training. Why would anybody make it so complicated just to let a customer get an item out of their truck.
Updating on 5/16/17I was told by Kevin that he wasnt returning my calls because the voicemail I left was disheartening. He then told me my tire was MY PROBLEM in his lovely round about way and that I could come in and get my door fixed, when I expressed my anger and asked when they next available time frame I could come in was I was told that I didnt need to tell him why I was upset and then wouldnt tell me the next available time I could come in. Nice courteous customer service. Not only am I livid with the situation, I am hell bent on ensuring people understand the customer service they will receive bringing their vehicle here.Lets talk about this awful experience.1) the day of my accident the lady I dealt with had a horrible attitude. Like I chose to have my car towed there or to get in a accident2) it took a them 3 months to finish my car hail damage being their excuse for the slow labor3) my door is still not on correctly and leaks air4) Camaros use different size tires in the front and back and while repairing they switching the two, leading my front tires to get cut by the wheel well while turning the car5) they didnt fix all the paint and refused to assist6) when I told them about the tires and door they told me I was SOL and wrong because thats not a thing. Here months later water is coming through the door and I am paying $500 to get THEIR incompetence/negligence fixed.DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. I brought it out of necessity and regret not putting my foot down until this day.
They do great work with great pricing and FAST
USAA sent me to Associated Collision Center. I received precision and perfection. Five Star.
I have never experienced worse customer service at any company, in any industry, in my life. This was the most frustrating interaction with any company Ive ever dealt with, personally or professionally. I quickly scanned reviews on here prior to going, but reading them now they certainly seem like two sentence shill pieces written by employees. This is quite long, so in summary: from the time I first took my car to Associated until I got it back was NEARLY 13 WEEKS. Yes, over 3 months. To start off, I will be fair and put blame for some of the issues I experienced with a poor initial estimate done by Allstate. However, the bulk of the issues rest squarely on Associated Collision. I had an Audi with some extensive hail damage from a storm in Dallas. Based on a recommendation, I scheduled the repairs with Associated. On the phone, I told the woman that I had the repair estimate from the Allstate adjuster, but there were some dents that had cracked the paint and obviously wouldnt work with the paint-less dent repair that was on the estimate. She assured me it would be no problem, and to bring the car by for a walk around.I brought the car by the first week in December. Again, I told the woman at the front desk that there was other damage and she assured me it wasnt an issue and made a copy of the estimate. They had previously told me Id be dropping the car off the same day, but then informed me they had to order parts and I should bring it back by the following week, December 11th, so they had time to order parts. The next week I dropped off the car and did a full walk around with Ronald. He told me they would have to order a lot of additional parts - quite frustrating when the week prior I had stressed the likelihood of this, and they had a full week to do it. Allstate had estimated only a few days for the repairs. Realizing this was clearly not realistic, I asked Ron for a best guess and he said 3-4 weeks.A few days later, my Allstate adjuster called me and told me hed just been out and approved some supplements. Assuming they were doing the additional work that had now been approved, I didnt followup directly with Associated for another week. Finally, thinking it had been a bit odd that I didnt hear anything from Associated at all since dropping the car off, I called them. I was told by Ron Allstate just came by yesterday to approve the supplements. - funny, since I knew they were there over a week ago. From there, it was downhill. Ron was unable to give me an estimate on any basic task, such as painting, buffing, or procuring necessary parsts. For a company whos sole purpose is to repair vehicles, I fail to comprehend how they cannot give even a rough timeline for remedial tasks they must do hundreds of times a month. As the weeks dragged on, I can count the number of times I received proactive updates on one hand. I consistently had to call and leave voicemails or speak to someone to get any sort of status. At one point, I was told by Associated they could only do 4 hours of work on my car per day according to insurance guidelines. Allstate wasnt aware of this policy, so if it exists, it seems to be internal to Associated. Even with this ridiculous policy, based off the labor totals on the final bill it would have only taken around 6 weeks to repair my car - not 13.The overall quality of the work in the end is of an acceptable level, but never have I experienced such poor customer service or lack of basic communication skills. I would strongly advise against having any work done here.
In August of 2012 my wife had an accident in her Porsche 911. She took her car to Associate based on their status as a Porsche authorized repair center and also a USAA approved facility. After a few months the car was done and I pointed out that the headlights and bumper didnt seem right and they adjusted them on a couple of different occasions.Last spring, late spring, a friend commented that the headlights seemed to be off as they were sitting directly on the bumper and he said something seemed off. We took the car to a Porsche Authorized Collision Center, Euro Pros in Gaithersburg, MD for advice. They mentioned that the bumper is out of alignment most likely due to something not being right and they would have to look at the area that the bumper bolts to. So after a few weeks USAA authorized the shop to inspect the area and see what if anything is causing this.Yes we moved to the DC area from San Antonio and yes this is about 3 years later.Euro Pros found the headlights were shimmed, yes shimmed in a Porsche but it wouldnt matter if it were a Kia. Simply poor work. Also, the front tub still has bends in it and the frame is bent down, poor finish work and cracks in the body putty from insufficient repair.USAA at first accused my wife of having another accident, yes, USAA accused her on speaker phone. Then they said it was due to a tire rubbing the vinyl wrapping on the front bumper that caused the body to have bent places??? Really? Then it was due to transporting the car?? What?? Transporting a car doesnt even involve the frame or subframes as straps are around the wheels. Then it is because it was raced? Her car is not a race car and has never been in another accident which can be proved by various shops that have touched the car over the years. Now Associated is claiming my wife wrecked the car again and is trying to claim they did poor work. However, ah, the written and documented repair order which will accurately show the work they did and now the work that has to be done to complete the repair as it should have been done the first time. They simply didnt have the equipment and/or expertise to fully repair the car. That is all. Funny, had they known what they are doing the repair order would have resulted in a substantial amount more than their weak estimate and repair. It is sad they are taking this stance and not being responsible for their lack of execution, knowledge and results. The fact that they are accusing my wife of wrecking the car again and having it repaired is nuts if you consider how much it would cost to repair that part of the car on ones own. Really???Look at the other reviews about them and yes I know much more than I will mention here as I had to do business with them years ago even though there were issues.
This is a top notch collision center, employees are helpful and polite. Good job Associated Collision.
Got a letter in the mail after I was told I don’t need to do anything else if I’m not going to have the vehicle repaired. Contacted them and spoke with Elizabeth she was probably the most unprofessional rudest operator I have ever dealt with. This company will continue to try to get money from you even after they take possesin they will continue to bother you months later. They also required the title in order for the whole process to end
They staff is friendly and they know what theyre doing.
They did an amazing job repairing my car, and helped me through the process of dealing with the horrible insurance company! I would definitely recommend them!
They are incompetent and do piss poor work.
Very rude and inconsiderate.
A much improved
