My Mom just loves her hearing aids since she got them a few years ago from House of Hearing. We (her children) love them too. She can hear us now without raising our voices.

After hearing (well not hearing) from several people I knew You need an hearing aid I finally caved in and went exploring possibilities. Fortunately I was referred to The House of Hearing on 33rd. I was very apprehensive and a bit concerned from what id experience. i lucked out.The staff here made me feel very comfortable, answered all my questions to my satisfaction and helped me understand the advantages of hearing well with an aid. I was presented several options and walked through quite an extensive program of possibilities. I finally agreed to make the jump to a trial. Im so glad I did. WOW!!! They were so helpful and supportive and attentive - including all the follow ups and adjustments. Kudos to the team. Very Friendly front desk girl she was willing to answer any question we had. Plus while we were waiting to see doctor we observed her helping a lady with her moms hearing aids that were not working.When she was finished with the lady she moved us into a room to wait for the doctor to come talk to us. He came in and was very polite and upfront which is refreshing cause most people beat around bush or try to push you into buying only what they want you to get not always what is best for you or your pocket book. John Tongen was great! We didn’t feel pressured into a purchase, and we really appreciated all the helpful information and advice. For example, he told me to trust my wife’s input on my quality of hearing. Later that day my wife said, “Someone put wine in the tank.” I questioned that, repeating it back to her. She said, “No. Someone put wine in the SINK!” Again I was mystified, repeating it back to her. She said, “I SAID, someone put a LIME in the SINK!” Certainly confirmed John’s evaluation, haha!

Amazing customer Service. For several years now I have had hearing devices through The House Of Hearing. The staff cares first about the customer and is intensely interested in listening to my needs. I do not feel I am being up-sold, nor do I feel like I am being talked down to. They are willing to clean my hearing aides and consult with me on what I am hearing/Not hearing and have targeted advice accordingly. I have sent all 4 of my children to The House of Hearing, specifically to Josh who is well trained and very qualified.

Both my husband and I got our hearing aids from House of Hearing in October 2014. Neither of us realized what we where missing until we got them. I can hear the birds singing again. Josh at the Millcreek clinic has been so helpful. We see him every 3-4 months to get our aids checked and adjusted if needed. The service we have received from House of Hearing is superior to the service our relatives have received from other companies. Amazing office and Denver is absolutely amazing!

I started out at the draper office with Liz but changed to the office on 33rd south with Josh as it is much closer to me. I got Lyric and the results are mixed but they have helped me dramatically to hear and understand what people are saying especially when speaking or on the tv. I produce a lot of earwax which has been a problem for the Lyric but I still really like the idea of them putting it in and not having to do anything to it--I can shower, sleep and just forget that it is there. It has been a very difficult adjustment for me as I play the piano and organ and they sound quite different with the hearing aids but that is to be expected. I believe Liz and Josh are extremely helpful and believe I have made the best choice even thought the Lyrics are lasting about 1 month but it is not hard to go in once a month and get them changed out and for me that is much better than doing anything myself...I give them 5 stars for their valuable help.

My grandmother received her hearing aids from the House of Hearing. She was hesitant at first- not realizing that she really needed them. But once she came to the understanding that her hearing truly wasnt as good as she thought it was, she was on board with the family and decided to get hearing aids. She has worn them for about 2 years now and we have seen tremendous improvements in her ability to talk with friends and family. She is a social lady and the hearing aids allow her continue to be social and comfortable in her surroundings. The care she receives is top notch. We wouldnt consider going anywhere else!

The initial setup of my hearing aids was fantastic. Time was taken to fine tune them and make changes to programming To suit my needs. My only complaint is that I was told that I would receive reminders when it was time for regular servicing and this hasnt happened.

My wife loves her hearing aids. She has had three different brands and these are her favorite. One of the nubs had worn down and with her fake nails I had to open the door to change her batteries. She took them in and Josh devised a way for her to open them. This is what we call excellent service.

The hearing aid they sold my mom did not help her. She went for repeated adjustments (7), including them sending it back to the factory to be fixed. The hearing aid never worked and was a $1500 waste of money and time. I would not ever recommend them.

I was working at Skywest Airlines at age 65 as a parts clerk and I became increasingly aware that my lack of hearing was affecting my job performance. My mother-in-law was a very satisfied customer of The House of Hearing, so I made an appiontment. After a thorough evaluation Josh explained to me my hearing loss and how hearing aids could greatly improve my functioning at work and also my quality of life, Like most others with hearing loss I found myself minimizing conversations with my family because I couldnt understand much of the conversations going on around me. I had kind af a negative attitude about hearing aids feeling that they were just for old men, really old men. Josh was very helpful in convincing me that I should try hearing aids.My adjustment to wearing my hearing aids was astonishingly rapid. They have worked out extremely well for me. My dad and I both are clients at the House of Hearing and have been for many many years. I highly recommend these guys. Josh is the best!!!! My 85 year old dad has extreme hearing loss. Josh has been very informative on his form of hearing loss and what is available on the market to assist him. Josh has been able to give him back some hearing and being able to use his cell phone again, which is awesome compared to hearing next to nothing.My dad had gone originally to another place and they sold him the most expensive hearing aids on the market with fancy gadgets and he still could not hear with them. They told him it was a learning curve to using them and it would take time. They kept stringing him along until after the the return time had expired then told him there was nothing more they could do for him. He was extremely hesitant when I first tried to get him to go to House of Hearing. He said it would just be another waste of money. After convincing him to give it a try. He was delighted that he could hear and carry on conversations again. Josh was able to get him the best hearing aids for his hearing loss at half the cost of the other ones that even didnt help him.As for my experience..... Like I said..... Josh is the best. He is always very patient, accomadating, and gives you the personal time and informative about the different products and their capabilities along with the best value for your buck.
