If you dont mind minor blemishes on some items, American Freight has name brand appliances, furniture, mattresses and other products at deep discounted prices. Some of the items have nothing wrong with them at all, they are just surplus and they pass savings to customers to keep inventory moving. I bought a new whirlpool refrigerator for half off. It had a minor ding or two, but I placed a decorative magnet over the ding and I forget that the ding is even there. The staff is very helpful and courteous, but like most everywhere, they are understaffed at times, so be patient and you will end up with a good deal. AF is usually my fist stop when I need appliances. Give them a try.

Purchased a beautiful sofa and ottoman and was helped by Ry! The sofa is amazing and my family loves it. Ry made it super easy for us to purchase and pick up the sofa. Definitely recommending to all my friends for new furniture and appliances, because you can’t beat the prices.

The quality of furniture here is horrible. The selection of furniture here is horrible! The customer service here is horrible! We spent over $2,400 on furniture here just for it to arrive damaged, and for items that we requested to be added to our purchase NOT be added at all! Lack of attention to detail and listening on the part of the sales rep. A young, tall boy with natural hair. We just didn’t have a great experience here at all and will NEVER shop here ever again. I would give it 0 stars if I could, I only gave it 1 star because after such a bad experience we went back to the store and asked for the manager in which Kristy did everything in her power to alleviate our horrible experience. She helped make our order whole and had great customer service as well. There are plently of good deals in the Sacramento area for less of the headache. We found one after this experience. American Furniture Galleries is way better than this place! If you go here though, just ask for manager Kristy and sales rep Ry. Do not do business with anyone else there!

Great place for couches. HUGE selection of comfortable sofas and sets. No presssure from sales staff. Helpful & friendly. Very soft and comfortable furniture that you can sit on & touch. Great prices too!

Had an issue with the refrigerator I purchased . Went into the store the next day and Kristal was extremely helpful and willing to take care of us as customers. She had great customer service and made sure we were take care of due to our in convenience. I appreciate a company with employees like this and will do business with them again in the future.

*** update: After 2 months of calling, emailing, going in and leaving notes, we finally got our fridge exchanged.***At first, I planned on writing a 5 star review. Loved the staff. However, THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF!!!!!! I bought an expensive refrigerator about 2 months ago that turns out to be broken. We only agreed to cosmetic damage. I called the day after delivery to report the damage. They said they would send the delivery crew the week after to take a look. Nobody showed up. I called again and the manager, Darla, stated she would agree to an exchange or refund. My roommate and I went in to take a look and there wasnt anything similar. Darla said it was ok, we had time to deal with it. Then, we found a similar unit with worse cosmetic damage. We tried to get her to agree to change the doors out with our unit. She said she would call us the next day. WE NEVER HEARD BACK. We have emailed multiple times, called, and stopped in many times. She is never available, always out, never returns our call, never responds to our email. We have a broken freezer, useless, cost over $2,400 and no solution. We are going to have to take this to a higher level and file complaints with our credit card, BBB and probably will contact channel 13 or 3 or both. Anybody know a good lawyer? Very sad, we planned on getting all our kitchen appliances here. now, WE DONT TRUST DARLA OR THIS PLACE!!!!

Came here place was light with a handful of customers with no employees. I wanted to buy a gas dryer they had but could find nobody to help. After about a half an hour I just gave up trying to find a salesperson. Ive been a customer of the rancho location before and had great service there.

I bought a $1,430 NEW refrigerator from American Freight that was faulty. Since I didnt determine that it was a lemon in 48 hours (I thought I needed to let it cool and get to a point where it functions normally), I was stuck with it...my $1,430 problem. What kind of a company doesnt offer a 30 day guarantee on defective merchandise at the very least? One that knows they are selling bum appliances. There is more wrong with this refrigerator than a little blemish. Be warned.Update: new refrigerator needed a motor. Surely it was a customer return which was not disclosed to me as such. Deceptive behavior such as this should not go unpunished.Emailed Dylan 7/21 to let him know the replacement refrigerator he approved has a non-functioning ice/water dispenser (but makes ice). 2 lemons in less than 1 month.

Purchased a living room set and paid for sameday delivery. The day it was supposed to be delivered (which is on a Saturday) I had to call to check on the status only to be told that my order isnt showing up in their system because I did it online and my delivery would be on Monday because the drivers didnt want to work on the weekend smh comes Monday - the drivers were so unprofessional. Arguing and were cussing at eachother. When the couches were finally in the house they had to let me know that the couch is missing a leg and I would need to contact them to see when and how Im getting the missing leg. I dont know I wouldnt give a star period if it had that option. I purchased this, paid for the delivery and same day delivery just to be disappointed.

Poor and untrustworthy customer service. I purchased a dishwasher from American Freight about three weeks ago and stopped working . I paid extra $134.99 for three years warranty, however they dont want come and fit it .

I had problems with my first refrigerator, when I wasnt getting anywhere with the warranty department I called the manager, Darla at this location. She was on it and within a week I was approved for a replacement, and it was delivered and installed with no money out of my pocket!! Darla was a great help, came through when I thought I had no where else to turn! Thanks again Darla!!

Go to American Freight first! Seriously - you wont need to go anywhere else. Their prices are much better than Home Depot, Lowes, etc. Ive been coming here for appliances and furniture for a few years now - cant recommend it highly enough. The prices are great and the products are good quality. The staff are really terrific, too. Darla, Justin, Ry - every time, theyre friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Darla, especially, has helped with re-appliancing a couple of my homes (long story), and shes savvy and great. Im a huge fan.

Ry is super awesome, we got an amazing deal on KitchenAid washer where the same mode is $1200 at Home Depot for $495 because it had a small cosmetic dent on it.

Bought a refrigerator from them. And it stopped working after a month. Warranty couldnt repair it, and store doesnt want take it back. So I lost $800. It was great way to save some money. Next time I will go to real store. And dont ever buy Frigidaire appliances - complete garbage.

With my experience, I rate a 5+ star. There is not a lot of staff for the large showroom that they have but that did not mean that we were not acknowledged when we came in, We were helped by the manager, either Steve or Shawn. He was very knowledgeable and helpful with our purchase.We purchased a french door for a terrific price. (It would be nice to be able to bargain a little). the only down side was the delivery date was pushed out so far that we ended up getting our own truck and delivering the appliance to our house ourselves.Steve explained the reason why they were booked so far out and it was definitely understandable, that is why I am not deducting a star from my review.Before coming to this location, we went to 2-3 other locations and this was the only one to provide a great deal, delivery/pick up yourself. i am definitely happy with our fridge.

Always go here to buy any and all of my appliances. It is always an awesome deal to literally get hundreds of dollars off just to get slightly bent or scratched washer or dryer. This last week I came in because my very old dryer stopped heating on me. And within minutes I found a brand new dryer with literally over $200 off the Home Depot price just because of a small bend on the top of it next to the dials. Also, received the most professional and fast help and check out from Ry! Best location, inventory, and employees around! Literally got my fridge, washer, and now dryer from here so far, hopefully nothing else will brake in a while, but if so Ill be right back here.

Went to this sears outlet on a Saturday my moms refrigerator broke down. Upon arriving to this spot we were greeted by this sales person (Steve). When my mom had chosen the refrigerator she wanted we were provided with information about the leasing program.As we finalize all the paper work Steve forgets to add the $15.00 which applies to haul away old appliances. As my mom and I wait to add the hauling fee, Steve states its too late to do anything (paying with debit card). Amazingly enough another gentleman who works there was able to process the $15 and so convenient that Steve adds the haul away on the calendar, but cant process a 15 fee.Come Tuesday (6/16/2020) the day of delivery. Everything was fine until the freezer stops working late that evening. Upon calling the store I spoke with Steve (whom later I would learn hes the manager of the store). I specified the issue I experienced with the new refrigerator. I was told I can do an exchange and I needed to speak with Sean.I am so excited to see that Sean took the time to work with us. He not only took care of us he did a phenomenal job to make sure we get the best care. He really cares for his customers and I mean he really will do what he can. For Sean I give you 5 plus Stars!

Saved my Thanksgiving!!. My 30 year old oven thermostat went out the Monday before Thanksgiving. I couldnt get parts or find a new oven to install before Thursday. My choice was craigslist but found the Sears outlet store. I had a hard time finding one and customer service got involved and directed me to Steven a local manager and then Paul in Sacramento. They found an oven for me Tuesday and sold it to me 50% off. I couldnt believe it and I had them cut the box open to make sure it was right and it was better model than I expected. The oven was installed that night and my Thanksgiving is back on schedule. Thank you Steven (thats my sons name) and Paul.

Sales was fine but the delivery experience is causing me to write this and never return. Bought a fridge on 2/17 and the soonest delivery date was 3/7 and I was told I would receive a call with the time frame the night before. 8pm on 3/6 rolls by and I havent heard a thing so I call the store... at least I try to. It takes three calls to get past the recording without going to a fast busy tone. When I do get through Im given a 2-4 time frame. Im okay with that. Today I sat at my house until 5pm before I give up. I tried calling but the same fast busy issue came up so I just left a note that I dont have time to deal with their ineptitude and left. The first call initiated by them comes at 5:16 saying theyll be there in 30 minutes... The guy didnt even sound surprised when I said he missed his window and I wanted a refund. Im done with this company and will gladly pay more to a company that has the common courtesy to call their customers when they say they will.

Checked online and home depot beat most of thier prices. A lot of the stuff was pretty dinged up and there wasnt a very big selection to choose from. It seemed like they had better process online than in the store so if your willing and can wait order it online.

Went in looking for some new inexpensive appliances to replace some outdated units. They were quite busy, and was requiring everyone to wear a facemask. I appreciated the extra effort to keep people safe during these times. I spoke with Steve the manager, and he showed me several units that were within my budget. Between him and a staffer named Jennifer, I was able to get everything I needed, for a great price, and great customer service. I will return.

Well this sure is not Sears outlet anymore! Its just a GP appliance store that has expensive appliances. They have mattresses and furniture and not a great selection and it looks like their biggest feature is that for $50 you can take it home tonight... I did not find discounted appliances because of dings and stains.

The young men who delivered my furniture went the extra mile. Nobody updated the computer nor did I get notification on sunday for Monday so they did switch my date. The young men went to my old address and then came to my new address because they wanted to make my day better than rescheduling. They all over the place in the warehouse. It took me like 2 hours just to order bed and kitchen table. They sent out sales paper nothing in stock or have to wait two weeks. I was going to get a couch but I am waiting on some money back for all the miss communication.

Went here because they were the only place in town with the wall oven size I need in stock. Very clean warehouse-style shopping. Everything is clearly priced and look to be in good condition for factory seconds and scratch-and-dent appliances. Would definitely recommend checking them out if you dont need a matching set it a brand new appliance. They also had furniture, tool, and a few odds and ends. This place will definitely be on my list to check out of I ever go to upgrade my appliances or furniture.
