I had put an item in my shopping cart for $899 (which was the full price...NOT a sales price). I went to check out the following morning and the item price had changed to $1599. I had a screenshot of the original $899 pricing and they still would not honor that price (even though it had changed overnight). I was surprised that the cart price was updated but the customer service rep told me that happens quite often. It sounds slim shady to me. The item I was purchasing (a chandelier) was a 700 price difference so thank goodness I noticed it when I went to checkout. It also baffles me that they raised the price of an item to almost double. The customer service rep was no help at all stating they cant look up pricing history of an item. I dont believe the rep because plenty of companies can look up a previous price. I did not appreciate the way they handled it and I will do business elsewhere.
Dont order online if you can avoid it. I ordered a shower curtain and it had a liner option for $20 more and it was a cheap plastic liner. They wouldnt let me return the liner. I had to return the entire set even though you can order it without a liner. I also ordered 6 sets of 3 ornaments and literally only received 6 ornaments and was missing the other 12. When I called, I was told they were out of stock! The item was a clearance and not returnable. I got a small amount of credit returned to my account. This was my first order and Im returning everything! If you order furniture they force you to pay for white glove service.
Order delayed by more than 5 months and no call regarding this from customer service. When contacted multiple times the service rep mentioned the order has been lost though the website mentioned it is sitting at their Oakland distribution center. When questioned they did not provide any details. They have deducted the full item amount when it reached their distribution center. She placed another order for the same items last week and mentioned it will be delivered by Aug. Now their website states order has been delayed till Oct end. This is ridiculous and none of their reps have visibility in to the delivery and logistic systems.
I came in and it was very awkward experience. I felt like I didn’t belong there. I’ve been wanting this swivel chair. I know I’m middle class but jeeze I can get a viv swivel chair. Anyways their on hands were wrong they don’t have the chair in stock. Unfortunately I guess they don’t sell their model chairs. Well I’m still on for the search maybe Palo Alto might have it.
The store is located in a convenient shopping center, lots to do. The store is clean and has a nice layout. However, and maybe it is hit or miss, but the staff seem very cold. Not rude, but cold. Every time I walk into the store it is hard to pin down a sales person to help. And when purchasing several items they do not offer to help you to to your car. Be prepared to make multiple trips.
Lots of mid century modern choices. Furniture arranged for maximum inspiration. Bedroom, living room, dining room, side tables, classic decorations too. There wasnt really anyone to help us, so allow extra time in your schedule. Easy parking, convenient location. In the Fountains mall area, so lots of shops to get many different kinds of errands done.
Today I walked in looking at the nightstand I wanted to buy I wasnt acknowledged nor greeted. After me there was couple of white ladies who walked in who were greeted, asked if that they needed help with something and spent time looking and answering their questions. Is it I am a person of color ?. I am tired of being treated this way. I work hard and yes I have money to spend at your store and yes I wanted to buy that nightstands so why?? Its very disheartening because regardless of skin color I am aHuman.

I am so greatly disappointed with this company. I purchased a custom couch in October of 2019. I received an email 2 months later saying my couch was ready for delivery. On Monday 12/30 the couch was supposed to be arriving between 2:00-4:00 PM. The delivery people showed up at 1:00 and didnt deliver as I was not home. I get an email saying delivery was rescheduled to Tuesday 12/31 between 7:00-9:00 PM. No one showed. I called West Elm to figure out what was going on and spent hours being transferred from department to department. They are now saying the couch will be delivered on 1/4 between 7:00 AM-8:00 PM!?!! I cannot believe this is the white glove service for which I paid. I will no longer be doing business with this company. Please read the multiple reviews that echo the same thing I am saying in regards to their horrible customer service.
The wife just had to have a new coach, the staff was great and didnt hover let me and the wife go through our options but was right there when we needed some information
Very well displayed store. The staff is extremely courteous. I spoke with them multiple times over phone and also several different members of staff in person. Each person that I interacted with displayed a helpful, warm and professional persona. The Roseville location could be a pain with parking sometimes, especially with whole foods market being just around the corner. Always check for deals. If they have a deal thats only for online transactions, the store might still be able to match that price. So call them and find out.
They always have great, modern furniture. We bought a table with a stainless steel top ~6 years and 2 kids ago. BEST decision we ever made getting a steel table-top!
I am beyond impressed with the staff at West Elm, especially the store manager Kim. We had a customer service related issue with missing parts and a stained cushion. She went out of her way to find everything we needed and overnighted everything to our home. She was responsive and followed up to make sure everything turned out correctly.Many thanks to you, your staff and West Elm. You have a lifelong customer.
Fantastic store to help spruce up your place! This place has all the latest furnishings to help your home look stylish. I personally like coming here to get ideas for my home. Service is outstanding with an interior designer on staff in case you have any questions or need suggestions.
Like every other pansies establishment going under the cover of covied made me load my 300 lb bed onto my truck by myself because afraid I was going to affect them with covied!
Went in to purchase couple chairs they didnt have it in stock so they ordered it and shipped it to my place they charged me shipping fee. When I received the chairs unfortunately they didnt work out for me I returned it to the local West Elm and what I didnt realize when purchasing the chairs that they dont refund you shipping cost when u return the items back to the store.
Can’t touch anything- yet NO one offers to help you shop? Associates sitting at their desks totally uninterested in your business. The store has made ZERO attempts at showing prices of items so you can shop- it’s a cold experience. Don’t bother going- West Elm, if you’re going to open your store and tell people not to touch, fix the environment so they can shop independently, especially if no one cares they are there-
HORRIBLE customer service. Took forever to get a couch delivered (6 months) then it was delivered and one of the three pieces was to a different couch. Still waiting for them to pick up the other two pieces and give me my money back. I’ve called 20 times at least and waited on hold each time. NEVER going to shop here again, worst shopping experience I have ever had.

Great show room definitely a little spendy for your basic decor but they have a wide selection of stuff.
Beware of this company and their customer service. I ordered a very expensive custom sofa, waited over two months for it to arrive. The delivery team plopped it down and shoved it up against the wall. After they immediately left, I pulled it away from the wall as I did not tell them to put it there. Only to find an over 12in box cutter gash on the side of my custom sofa. I immediately contacted West Elm customer service only to be transferring around and around in circles and then transfer to a department that was now closed and cannot leave a message. I emailed the company that day as well. The next day I did roundabout phone calls totalling hours of my time, submitted report after report, sent requested photos Etc. It is now 9 days later Im still being transferred in circles, everybody says that its being handled but nothings being done. I have a danger in my home as I have young children and the inside of my very expensive custom couch is exposed. Its now sitting in the room with a tarp draped over it leaving my family no place to sit. Im certainly not going to go purchase a new one until West Elm issues a refund and takes the broken couch from my home. I have coubtlessly called and requested supervisors, non are ever available. I have emailed, I have called I spoken to every Department, no Department knows what the other department is doing. Its the worst customer service I have ever experienced in the history of working with companies. I myself am a designer and I will never use West Elm again. Nor will I let my clients deal with a company that treats their customers who spends thousands of dollars in their store its such a brazen and disrespectful way. Whatever you do, do not purchase the poorly maintained and made furniture from West Elm. Because even if you do spend the extra dollars to get the expensive furniture (like I did) it might be delivered damaged and theres nothing they will do to rectify it. You will regret it your purchase, I promise you!
Horrible customer service. Still cant reach a manager to handle the messed up appts and delays. 5 calls today with hold times over 20 minutes each call. Im about to cancel the whole order totaling over $6000 if they dont figure this out.
Horrible customer service. They have incorrectly shipped the wrong item 2 times. 3rd phone call each call taking 25 mins as they are understaffed. Mike the supervisor is a jerk. Never again! Oh and they wont take the items back want to charge me for their shipping errors!!!

Poor Customer service. Sucks when corporations get so big that they don’t really have to care, or are just such cluster fs that they can’t do anything quickly or empower their employees to do anything when you have a problem with your order or question company policies.
Selection is decent compared to other West Elm locations, but the staff are very friendly and helpful here.
Modern but comfortable design at a fair price. And sometimes you can find great items on sale.
