I came here for my 2013 Mercedes E350, brakes did not have any pressure so I ll get it towed their shop. What I experienced here is They know what they are doing, that s a nice thing I know but they also do that with reasonable price, besides these they keep you updated about your car. They told me that they were planning to check the problem on Saturday, It was not %100 certain,they said they are planning, but still they called me to just say they couldnt find a time to look at it. Great service,great price! I hope I wont be back of course 🙂 but If I need, this is the shop I will be back!Thanks

Professional woman trapped off Roseville highway with a dead car in negative temperatures outside. Very friendly on the phone, got to my car right away, diagnostic almost immediately. New alternator needed, charged my battery and I was back on the road within 3.5 hours. Mike was knowledgeable, friendly and honest. Heard many conversations with other customers, he was great at explaining anything. Would definitely go back if I lived in the area. Thanks Mike and his team!

We had a tire slashed while at Rosedale shopping center. Long story short they rushed us in and had us on the road to Wisconsin in minutes. These guys rock!

I was on my way home from work in the very cold weather, when my car started to act up and I thought it would stop running. I was able to make it in to the shop as it is on my way home. They were so kind and helpful. They even let me bring my well behaved dog who was with me, in the building while I waited. They were clearly busy, but were able to fit in inspecting the what may have been wrong. Of course my car would not replicate what happened for them, so there was no 100% answer. Its an old car probably just acting up from the cold, but these guys were very helpful in still trying to figure it out! Thank you Mike!

OMG, I just mived to the area, and I asked a 70 year old where to go to not get ripped off and a place that will treat you like family. Brausen Family Auot Repair was his recommendation. Super inviting staff that treated my 2008 Mustang like it was theirs. They saved me $500 on unnecessary repairs and a $75 discount. I spent $2500 on so much stuff. My wife is so impressed. They also popped out a dent at no cost. The Mustang got will be runnibg great now fir a long time after too much abuse by me.

I worked with the Brausen team a couple weeks back as I was purchasing a used vehicle and was looking to have it inspected before I made my final decision. Mike, Josh, and Luke are fantastic to work with! A few things came up with the vehicle and they were awesome in answering all my questions, providing all the details, and being upfront about any potential costs. Ended up replacing the power-steering rack and pinion, but they had the parts on hand and were able to get me squared away with only a days worth of work. Not a cheap fix, but these guys were upfront with me throughout the entire process. Great customer service!I highly recommend working with these guys as theyre honest, trustworthy, and hold to their word. Thank you, guys! You made buying my first car by myself a much easier process and I will definitely keep you in mind with future services and repairs!

Amazing business and very fast service, pretty much when you pull up, they already know what your driving and what needs to be done with your car.

I took my car in February 28th, 2020, and they got me in right away. Luke was very friendly and helpful. He made frequent updated phone calls and the team was able to fix my car within hours. The price was affordable and would highly recommend this place to others!

Tried charging me 50 bucks for a 14$ filter. Waited 20 minutes and then they said they cant change my oil. Not going here again. Would not recommend.A guy said the 35$ oil change wasnt worth it cause of alot of bolts... so Im guessing thats why they tried to triple charge meOn a filter. Disgusting.

Recently was able to get in right away in the morning, last minute before a short day trip, due to some odd noises. Fortunately they were able to diagnose the issue and make the necessary fix without any trouble. Very helpful and communicative. We always take our vehicles to Brausen, though this was our first experience at the Roseville shop. Now that we live closer to this one, we’ll continue to keep going here. Brausen always does good and timely work!

I went here because I had a coupon and its close to my house. I had just bought a used vehicle and needed an oil change and a thorough look over of the vehicle. They were clean, quick, and friendly. However, they told me I needed a whole new exhaust system on my vehicle because it was basically falling from my vehicle and very rusted. They quoted $1200. As I didnt have the money and they didnt have the time that day, I thanked them for all the info and left.Im no expert on vehicles by any means, but I had never been to this place before so I went to another shop that Id used in the past same day just for a second opinion. They told me all I needed was a new muffler and tailpipe, quoted me less than half of what Brausen did. I then called Brausen for an explanation and the guy gave me a spiel about how they dont have the ability to weld on a new muffler like this other shop might so they have to replace the entire thing and then proceeded to say he wasnt sure how they didnt think the exhaust system was falling out as it was obvious. I then brought the vehicle to a family member and he put on a new muffler (with things called muffler clamps, no welding - ever heard of them, Brausen?) and tailpipe for less than $150. He also told me the rest of the underside of the vehicle looked great.Im pretty upset with the whole ordeal, especially since theyre so well priced for oil changes, but now feel I wont even be able to trust them to do that properly.

The only place that some of us family members go for an oil change. A professional staff that is always kind friendly, never pushing one into selling you something you dont need. Just an honest staff that is there for what you want.

They are the Best!!!! They have always done the best job fixing my car’s, and took such good care of my moms car after my father died. Everyone is so friendly and they treat you like family. Mike and others still ask about my mom who is ailing with Dementia, and Mike still wants me to give her a hug from everyone there♥️ Yesterday the towing company who dropped my car off forgot to leave the keys? Mike went up and beyond to call the towing Co to find my keys, I was far to busy at work to call, so Mike called them twice for me. The towing found them in their towing truck and got them to Brausen. That’s treating customers like family♥️ They are the best I won’t go anywhere else!!! I love them all♥️

Ive been coming to Brausen for vehicle repairs since I moved to Roseville a couple years ago. Recently had the oil pan and crankcase seals replaced on my 2011 Equinox as they were both deteriorating rapidly. Josh was awesome at showing me exactly what was breaking down and the amount of work that was required to correct the issue. It was too bad that my vehicle warranty package didnt cover the cost of the repair, but I really appreciate the time and effort the staff at Brausen puts in to keep vehicles running at their best. Highly recommended!

Good shop...if you make good money.I feel they really overcharge for their labor, compared to other family shops. Plus they round UP the hours, rather than down (which is nice).I know you gotta make money, but I shouldnt have to sell an organ every time my car needs a repair.

My mother in law took her car there for an oil change and I changed her oil the next time. The oil plug was tightened to the point I nearly broke a box wrench trying to take it off. The oil filter on the other hand wasn’t even hand-tight. Additionally she told me they used “half synthetic” although that may be something they offered to reduce cost. (For a car that only needs changes every 7500 miles and which requires dexos rated oil, I really hope they aren’t mixing in conventional oil!). Lastly I have changed oil on enough vehicles to say that what came out of hers was not the right weight - it was considerably thinner than it should have been! Subjective observation to be fair, and it could have been a single lazy tech or honest mistake on the oil grade, but everything combined was a red flag to me.Edit: Regarding the response to my review, I’ll offer the following: do you put oil plugs back on with a hand tool or an impact wrench? I certainly understand erring on the side of caution, but this plug was tightened WAY beyond someone “just being sure”. Regarding the oil filter, by “hand tight” I mean I should have to grip it with my entire hand and give it a good amount of torque to loosen. The filter on hers came loose with an amount of torque I could have supplied with just my index finger and thumb. Regarding the oil viscosity and blend, I know I was taking the description of a non-technical person when she said “half synthetic” so I can understand that it may have been the right blend. That said, I have never seen oil come out of an engine that flowed thinner (at room temp no less, had sat for more than a day in garage with engine off) than the new oil going in. Unless you are suggesting the oil got thinner with use, I’m guessing 0w was used instead of 5w.

Great service on my cars for the past 8 years. Trustworthy, fast, quality. They always get permission before making a repair, but treated me fairly and didnt charge for an extra procedure they forgot to run past me last year. Highly recommend.

Always liked them but never again. Wanted to charge approx. $1050.00 for all around brakes and rotors... Said it was fairly extensive labor. Shopped around and was quoted $500 - 600 and over $700 maybe up to 800.Went to honest mechanic near North Branch... I paid $378 and change for exactly same brake job plus new rotors. #HighwayRobbery

Got struts replaced in 2016. One strut has already gone bad but its been over two years so they wont cover it under warrenty but said on the phone that the strut should not go bad that fast but said there is nothing they can do. Wont be taking my car here again cause clearly they use cheap parts that go bad and are not willing to take care of someone who has spent thousands of dollars thereEdit in response to owners response.I would love to know what other bad suspension parts your telling me I had that would make one strut fail in less than 15,000 miles. I do believe its a bad part that was installed but there is no way for me to bring my vehicle in because I no longer live in MN. Every mechanic I have spoke to said that struts should not go bad that fast and it must be a bad part.

The guys there have always been super nice, thorough in their explanations, and almost (if not all) my appointments have been able to be made the same day I called. Compared to most other shops - their customer service is what really sells me - the entire staff is just so friendly and helpful. Im not leaving these guys anytime soon!

Crooks. We went there for a new thermostat in the truck, they refused to do it unless we had the radiator flushed, too. Even though it didnt need a flush... Then we took my car there, asked them to check the serpentine belt while they were doing an oil and lube. They told us it was just fine. And THEN went out to check it. Then a friend takes his car there, thinking he had flooded his engine, car wouldnt start. They told him he needed a new timing chain, $1600. He called BS on the price, had it towed to the dealership and they said the timing chain was fine, but it was flooded. Its close to home, but we wont be taking anything there again. Crooked stuff.

Terrible. They fixed something that was broken a week later and they way overcharged. Went to Vroom in Little Canada. They fixed it. Go see them instead.Brausen replied to me. They never once reached out. That is a lie.

Ive been going to Brausen for the past couple of years. As a single mom, I really appreciate it when they offer a courtesy ride home or to work . Growing up with a father who was a mechanic, Im fairly knowledgeable with automobiles. So I dont often get sold on things I dont need...there have been times I thought for sure I was ready for a new set of brakes, and they sent me home saying it wasnt necessary yet. I appreciate their honesty. They do a nice job of explaining whats wrong and letting you make the decisions without feeling pressured. They let you know if its something that can wait, or if its more of a pressing need. I feel their prices are reasonable, and I love that they regularly have coupons for oil changes. Best of all, they complete the repairs same day!

My wife took our car there to have a leaky tire repaired. Our lug nuts require a special key to remove one nut per tire. This was missing from the car and we were unaware of it since we had just bought the car. The guy helping my wife told her they could replace the four lug nuts requiring the special key for about $6 each or we could go to the VW dealership 10min away and buy a new key for $28. She tells them to replace the lug nuts because its basically the same price. AFTER they take the old nuts off, they tell her they need to charge her a 1/2 labor (which was $57). The new nuts were actually $9 each. So the total bill was $93! When I called to discuss this with the manager Mike, he told me he was very disappointed with us because we expected the work to be done for free. We have no problem paying for work as long as were told ALL of the facts ahead of time. He did refund the labor but was an absolute jerk on the phone and in person. Avoid this place.

My wife and I have been in the neighborhood for over 20 years. We learned early on that having our cars serviced at Brausens was the best consistent experience over other automotive shops. Mike, Ryan and their crew know what they are doing and dont cut any corners. The shop is clean and the waiting room is well stocked. Convenience rides are always offered and they deliver on what they promise. Vehicles are complex machines and maintaining that investment is the safe and practical course. We go there for all regularly scheduled maintenance and brakes and tires as necessary. The Brausen chain is locally owned and they are respected employers. I recommend them to anyone that is searching for a neighborhood car care shop.

Only had one repair done at this location that being a CV joint/axle and control arm ball joint replacement. Overall very good the repairs are pretty good and they explain things well.

I havent had any work done but I called for a quote and they told me I need to bring it in so they can look at it. They also informed me its $75 to have it looked at and that if I get the work done with them they still charge the $75 for the inspection. Most places will not charge for the diagnosis if you get the work done with them. That is why Im rating 3 stars.

These mechanics are unprofessional and dont know there job . Also, the service cost is four times higher compare to other auto care in the area. Dont trust them ! My 2015 Chevy Subrban lt had squeaky brakes, I was given a qoute for 2100 $ and they said there may be more charge with it . I refuesd to fixed it on them, then drove my car to victory auto care just one mile east of them ... Paid 90 $ ! and its been already 5 months no problem at all . For proof I have both qoutes. They over charge people so please stop getting service from these liers. They called themselves family business where they charge 100$ just for an oil change, where chevey dealer charges you 60$ and gives you a free car wash . 😁

These guys are really fair, and very friendly. I looked around to get my headlights replaced, and every other place said they would do the replacement for around $100. Brausen was able to do it for $40.

Biggest rip off ever. They charged me 900 bucks for one brake repaired. Double the price of the online projection. During the same visit, I had windshield wipers that were broken but they said nothing about it.
