Went looking for a drum for my 2 year old. The staff was very kind, patient and encouraging for her, and we found exactly what we were looking for. Couldnt have asked for more!

They set up all my guitars and have worked on my amps and always do a great job. Chuck is a great guy and always a pleasure to talk with. Prices are always more than reasonable as well.

Michael Charles Music store is a valuable music source for the Rochester community. Chuck, Mark, Dale, and the other teachers have taught my children guitar. They have always been extremely encouraging to my children, and taught them so much! They are all exceptional musicians. Whenever we have needed musical equipment, they have gone above and beyond to get us what we need. Rochester is very fortunate to have Michael Charles Music!

Ive been giving these guys my business for 25 years, beginning when I first started talking guitar lessons. They were helpful and supportive from the beginning, and they have consistently encouraged my love of guitar and music, repairing my guitars and amps over the years with an experienced eye, capable hands, and reasonable prices. The lessons they offer (mainly guitar, if Im not mistaken) are second to none... Mark has been teaching for decades. You wont find better, more honest or helpful guys anywhere.

Ive been going to Michael Charles since I was 10 or 12... 20 years later and its still one of my favorite stores. I only frequent 3 area based music stores but Michael Charles is my ultimate favorite. Excellent conversation and knowledge.
