Hands down, best drum and percussion store in the Rochester region. cant beat their prices and inventory. I tell all my drummer friends about this place, especially those who are from out of town. 90% of my kit was purchased at Cadence. Ill be visiting soon to get some new heads.

This is hands down the best place in the Rochester area to buy anything drum related. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I went in to purchase a floor tom bracket that they didn’t have in stock and they ended up pulling the part off one of their own kits and fixing me right up - no ordering and waiting on my end. The selection is vast and you can feel good about your purchases because you’ve been given the chance to compare with a wide variety of cymbals, snares, kits, and just about anything else. The percussion and accessories section is ON POINT. You won’t be forced to settle on anything at this drum shop. Not to mention their prices/deals are untouchable. Even if you live downtown, drive the extra 5 minutes to Gates, you will not be disappointed. 5 stars all day.

Pretty much the only game in town but chances are they have what you need in stock. Experienced and very knowledgeable about all things percussive. You wont find any stringed instruments here but if you can hit it to make rhthym they can find it, get it, or maybe pull it down off the shelf for you.

I’ve been a customer of cadence music for over 20 years. I was happy with my visit today and they were able to beat online competition hands down. Any drummer in upstate NY touring, studio, or otherwise should stop in and check out their selection. Thanks guys!

Went in looking for a dry sounding ride cymbal. They have a great selection of brands and their respective product lines. I was helped by both gentleman who assisted me in finding exactly what I was looking for. In no way did they influence me on buying the most expensive item, just helped solely on what I was looking for. Great store. Down to earth people. Support your local music stores. Oh and they gave me a hell of a good price.

When I first arrived at the store front I looked and thought, another hole in the wall what am I possibly going to get from this place. Was I in for a treat. It is a full line store! The staff was very knowledgeable about all of their products! The prices are more than reasonable. Defineitly worth the drive!

Probably the best drum selection in Monroe county, and surrounding counties. Have DW, high end Yamaha kits, Pearl kits etc. so much better than guitar center or the HOG, as far as drums are concerned.
