One of the most pleasurable buying experiences we have had. Mr. Wayne Lewis, (our salesman),was fantastic. We were back and forth because of vehicle availability, when a vehicle arrived, he called us to come see it. When we were ready, to get our new car, there was a much nicer Tucson Limited hybrid that had been just delivered. Needless to say we took it home. Mr. Lewis is such a gentleman, spent a lot of time going over the features and setting my wife’s preferences up. Thank you sir for a great experience. I emailed First Team Hyundai at around 8:30 Am to inquire about a 2022 Tucson listed on the website. Wayne Lewis called me at 9:00, just after I got an email response to talk to me about the car. It seemed to be what I wanted. I was there at the dealership by 11:30, looked over the car and test drove it. Wayne knew the car well. He showed me the bells and whistles, answered any questions I had, and by 4 pm I was driving my new car home.I knew this car from online searching, watching many videos and visiting a Hyundai dealer nearer to me but they did not have one in stock. I also feel I got a great price, no price adjustments due to high demand, which is happening now, and this dealership has offers such as free oil changes and free state inspections. Apparently, Wayne will wash my car at each service visit.It just could not of been any easier to by a car, Wayne thank you for my new 2022 Tucson Limited Hybrid.Larry
I had visited a few dealers looking to trade in my vehicle for something more reliable and in better condition. Everywhere concluded they couldn’t help me get into any vehicle for various reasons However, that wasn’t the outcome at First Team! Not only did my salesperson, Wayne Lewis, get me an affordable loan, but it was also into a BRAND NEW 2021 Accent with an interest rate less than half of the one I had on my previous vehicle! It may sound too good to be true, but First Team Hyundai is awesome. The entire team is great!

Front desk person was some rude white lady. Absolutely horrible. Acted like me and my fiancé were stupid and didn’t know what we were talking about. Worst place I’ve ever been considering they just wanna drain money outta you. Never again.
Had a recall serviced here on my 2011 Elentra. Took an hour and half. Desk lady tried to tell me I needed an air filter showing me a clean looking air filter. They also quoted I needed two small break lights which they were charging extreme prices for. Come to find out neither light mentioned were out. UPSALE! UPSALE! So annoying. Then I have a manufacturer defect with an air bag sensor recently . I called They quoted 132.88 just to diagnose! Meaning plug it up get the code. I called my regular garage and they are willing to diagnose for around $40. If its wiring they will do the whole thing. So stupid.

After the engine light came on I asked for an appointment with the First Team Hyundai “service” department. Because this was not my first dealing with First Team I hoped to avoid the female at the service desk, but unfortunately she answered the phone so I was stuck with her again. After correcting a few problems with the car, and taking care of maintenance items I had added I was told a part was needed that they would order, and I had to pay for it in full before they would order it. When I questioned that I was told that “some people” order things and do not come back, and she mentioned a restocking fee. After these clarifying questions she asked a question as if to challenge me wanting to know if I wanted her to order the part or not? According to the previous communication the fuel pump had already been ordered, and I had already been told it’s expected arrival date. I pointed out this discrepancy which seemed to fluster her and she returned to her order it or not response. Clearly her concern was not my needs. She seemed only to want to be done with this conversation. My next question was offered hoping to illicit logic from the dealership. If I at this time decide not to have the work done here, since you said you already ordered the part, what will happen? Her response, “Then we won’t order the part.” But you just said it was already ordered. Blank stare.Then I asked about their fee for diagnosis of the engine light: is it removed once the work is completed LIKE EVER OTHER PLACE I’VE TAKEN MY CAR FOR REPAIRS? Their fee (over $130.00 to tell me what the light indicated) was not absorbed, but just another item on the list of charges. Auto Zone did that for free and they had nothing to gain from me since the repair was out of my league. That was service. The “service” department at First Team Hyundai could learn from them.At this point I felt looking for another option would only add to the delay so I consented to having them order the part they said they had already ordered. I was told it should arrive on Tuesday of the following week. Monday morning, having heard nothing to confirm my appointment, I called and, after three calls, was finally given an appointment to return on Tuesday for the installation of the ordered part.Because of the debacle of the first half of this event I had spoken with the department manager and she offered a 10% discount on the whole bill. When I returned to collect my car and pay the bill the same person was the only one there (just my luck) so I mentioned the 10% discount. Did she say, “ok let me check on that,” or anything remotely customer service like? Nope. She said, “I don’t know anything about that.”Paid cash. Left. Never going back.Anyone know a good mechanic for the Hyundai brand?
We received a very reasonable price on a Santa Fe here. There was no hard sell and everyone was polite and professional. All of our questions were answered and they went above and beyond to earn our business. It takes a lot to impress me and I have to admit that I was. Id say if you are in the market for one, it would be wise to at least window shop here.
The front desk staff is very professional. I am thinking place is a joke. took my care here for the multi point check they did not even mention the big oil leak behind the engine. But they did suggest a fuel injection cleaners which is routine. great waiting area with wifi, computers for kids, coffee for adults, n cold water. Car parts are relatively expensive compared to online. Mechanically i would not take my car here seems like mechanics are lazy, overall the experience was ok.

I was charged $135 to test and determine why my AIR BAG light was on. I was told it was due to a faulty sensor in the passenger seat, and given no path forward to solve the problem...l was given the wrong part number. So, l will address myself at the local junkyard. Very disappointed...l will not be back!

I compared vehicles for several months before deciding on the Santa Fe. It has high ratings in safety and reliability. I was pleased with the selection at First Team and the salesman was great! Explained everything thoroughly from features of the car to pricing, financing, and service. The showroom was attractive and clean. I love my new car!UPDATE - I began having issues with my new car just under 3 months of ownership. The temp reading on the instrument panel is not working correctly and on 90+ degree days, it reads 24 degrees (and yes, fahrenheit). I was not able to get a service appt. right away and when I finally took it for service, not only was there no communication on their part about the status of my vehicle but it was returned to me NOT FIXED!

Purchased a brand new 2020 Hyundai Venue last week. Upon completing the test drive the forward collision warning and Lane tracking quit working, but I purchased the car anyway. Wayne Lewis was very helpful in checking out the problem after the purchase and gave me another new car to drive while they repaired the one I purchased. First Team is a Hyundai Dealership that I can trust with my Hyundai.Ricky the Service advisor has always treated me with the highest courtesy when I bring my car in for service.I have been to several other dealerships in the North Carolina area, and have had less then stellar service from them.I recently had to have my Hyundai in for an issue on my drivers seat coverand I am waiting to hear back from a question I had. A month ago I came in for a standard oil change and tire rotation. I had a switch in my glove compartment, and when the service was done it was missing. They dont think the tech that maintenanced my car took it, but still want to make things right. Overall very pleased with how the company has handled everything and HUGE thanks to Stacy in service❤ If you ever need help with service issues, shes the advisor to go to!

Always nice and comfortable - they get things done quickly. Lost one star because they dont have shuttle running because of covid. I think its been proven that transporting a few people with masks should be ok - City buses run, school buses run, airplanes are flying, I think they could work the shuttle if they wanted to. That is the primary reason I bought my car here instead of another city - because I could take the shuttle to work and now it is not available.
This wasnt my first visit to First Team Hyundai. Ive bought a number of cars and trucks previously, always from Horatio Doregos. Best salesman Ive ever run into (including myself, retired car salesman!). But he was so busy with customers (thats a good thing) that I was helped by a man named Dave, who turned out to be President and General Sales Manager! They were REALLY busy! The car, the deal I got, and the financing were, maybe, the best Ive ever had. Thanks to all. (Ill keep bringing referrals!)By the way, this little Kona is great. Almost as much fun as my last car, a Hyundai Veloster N! But with AWD.

I took our 2019 Sonata to First Team Collision Center for repairs after hitting a deer a couple of weeks ago. I am completely satisfied with the service I received and the car looks brand new again. Catrina treated me very well and was genuinely interested in making sure I was happy with the job done on our car. Only genuine Hyundai parts were put back on the car. I would recommend First Team Collision Center.

Was a good visit they are always nice. But not sure why I was charged for my state inspection when I was told as long as my car is serviced there it would be free. Other than that I always have great experiences there.
Came to test drive and purchase a vehicle based on a price advertised on their website. Staff was professional and courteous, vehicle was satisfactory if a little dirty. Decided to purchase, had signed all paperwork and acquired insurance when a manager informs me that the advertised price was wrong and could not be honored. The NEW price was about $4,000 more than advertised! They were charging as much for a used vehicle as they were for a brand new one. Wasted half a day at the dealership, had to cancel my insurance.
We drove an hour and a half to First Team to test drive the 2020 Palisade. Salesperson Wayne Lewis greeted us immediately upon arrival and walked us through one of the smoothest purchases of a vehicle we’ve ever had. Extremely unhappy with parts department. Needing a horn for my state inspection, I was told my car has two horns. I ordered two. I took my car to have horns put on. It only needed one. Your parts department refused to refund me for the returned unused horn. They said it had been put on the car although my mechanic said he did not put it on. This is a $90.00 item. Beware of dealing with these people as they have an answer for every thing that requires them from not keeping your money. I love my Hyundai. But I will never deal with these people again.

Although I was able to show then the fluid dripping and the wet spot on my timing belt cover they say there is no leak. The changed my oil that was only 1 week old and replaced my Synthetic Mobile 1 Oil with conventional Mobile Oil by accident. They have refused to fix a miss/sputter that the car has has since it was new and say all new 2016 Santa Fe cars have a miss/sputter and that it is the new transmission and they is they way it was designed. To miss/sputter. They removed two retaining clips from an air intake when they did their 100 point inspection and did not replace them.. I had to drive back to the dealership to get them. They did not even wash the car like they normally do.
Drop off truck for TB on fuel tank making a whistling sound, they gave me a loaner until it gets fixed. They go out of there way to take care of the customers

Im sorry I bought a Hyundai in Florida now that I have moved. I was very clear that I was buying that dealership and service department as well, but things happen. I really cant evaluate much of the service department here, because I dont trust the crabby woman at the central desk. Interesting how one woman can ruin the whole car experience. When purchasing my vehicle I asked if they offered free oil changes on Hyundais like they did with my parents subarus that were purchased. I was told no. I asked if they would be offering the free oil changes for life any time soon. I was told no, they would not be offering that anymore. We asked if they could ask the manager and confirm and were told that no they were certain it would not be offered. 2 weeks after purchasing my Hyundai Elantra they advertised free oil changes for life with the purchase of any Hyundai. I asked if they could please give me the offer since I had specifically asked about it when purchasing my vehicle 2 weeks earlier. I talked to multiple levels of management regarding being lied to and was told that they could not give me the offer. I would have waited 2 weeks to purchase my car when the deal was offered.I just recently went in for my first oil change and was told it would be 1-1.5 hrs. Went to a store nearby and at the 2 hr mark called them to find out if my vehicle was ready. No one answered so I left a message with my phone number and to please call. At the 2.5 hour mark I decided to go back to the dealership. My car was ready and waiting and no one had ever called me.After 2 strikes I have no interest in giving them a chance for a third. Only reason I did the oil change there was because your first is free (which is nice). I will not give them any more of my money.

First Team was having a huge credit union sale today. I already knew which car I wanted,I just wanted to test drive it first. I appreoached 3 separate sales staff and told each one I was here to buy. I was blown off by each one. I drive from Hot Springs specifically to go there,sit around in the heat for an hour for nothing. Very disappointed with First Team.
