Rich is great. They rebuilt my AOD trans bench build out of my 67 bronco. They opened it up quoted me the price. Took him.maybe 3 days. Picked it up reinstalld myself and took it back a couple weeks later for his guys to give my brono the final adjustment and all is well. Great guys here.5 stars.

Call up Riverside Transmission and spoke to Dale and felt comfortable right from the start. He was very knowledgeable and quoted me a price that was better than the previous two places I called. Dropped off my 2002 Chevy Silverado for a full rebuild on Tuesday night and it was done Friday in time for the weekend.Dale even waited late for me so I could comeget my truck that Friday and not have to wait till Monday to get it.Highly recommend these guys and Dale, Thank you for your hard work and excellent rebuild on my truck.

Really cool place to go to. They had my transmission completely rebuilt and I did t feel once like they were trying to treat me like Im stupid when it comes to cars or different because Im a girl. If you feel bad with other shops you wont feel that way here. So far my cars knocking has completely gone away.

I was having some transmission slipping issues and took my vehicle to Riverside Transmission Center. The friendly and informative staff there rebuilt my transmission very quickly and had me back on the road without an issue. The owner, Rich, is straight forward and does not take short cuts, while being incredibly affordable.

Ive taken three of my cars here, these guys are very loyal and honest with their customers. One was a quick fix, one was a rear end axle service, and the other was a complete trans rebuild. No problems whatsoever. I highly recommend this business with all yours transmission and rear end needs. They service Riverside police, fire, and other emergency vehicles. They know their stuff!

This place is extremely overpriced especially for mediocre work. I had to bring my 2001 f350 7.3 power stroke back to them 7 times and was still not repaired correctly and once I took it to a shop with real experience and knowledge I was informed that none of the upgrades I paid for were in the transmission. So do your self a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

My sons Ford F250 broke down and we figured out it was the transmission. Im a decent car mechanic and I did a diagnostic test on the transmission. I figured out it was the solenoid pack in the 4R100 Ford transmission. Got the Chinese made solenoid pack from OReillys Auto Parts for $240 and installed it. That didnt fix it. I figured it had to be a sensor. I replaced 2 of the sensors. Still didnt work. So I figure out it had to be a short in the wiring from the computer to the solenoid pack. I couldnt find a problem and it turned out to be just too much for me. My son had the truck towed over to a car repair shop in Riverside. This shop has been good to us and the prices were decent, too. Well, they said the transmission was shot and it needed to be replaced and it would cost somewhere around $2,500. My son felt sick. I called a shop that only worked on transmissions. Rich answered the phone and I explained the problem and he said it sounds like the transmission may just have electrical issues. I felt better after talking to Rich so I had the truck towed over to Riverside Transmission Center. Rich said the diagnosis will be around $90 and hell call me if it goes over that amount, depending on how much time he spends on it. I told him it has new sensors and solenoid pack. He called me back later in the day and said he found an issue with the O2 sensor, but that wouldnt fix the main issue. I told him go ahead and keep diagnosing the transmission. He called me the next day and said he found the problem. It was the solenoid pack. The same (Chinese made) solenoid pack I had just purchased from OReilly. I told him to go ahead and replace it with a Ford solenoid pack. He did. He called me later that day the the truck was fixed and ready to be picked up. Needless to say, my son and I were both very excited and happy. The American made solenoid pack was a lot more expensive, but if I would had used the American made solenoid pack, it would have worked. Rich found the problem and fixed it for only $900. The other garage wanted to charge $2,500 for a rebuilt transmission. I cant say enough good things about Rich and Riverside Transmission Center. He saved us a lot of money and unneeded aggravation. Thank you Rich. You dont go to the dermatologist when your feet hurt. Then why would you go to an automotive repair shop when you have transmission issues? Next time I have transmission problems, Im going to bring it to Riverside Transmission Center. Thanks again Rich.

Great customer service but thats where it ends. New transmission has been nothing but problems. Oil leak still there. Took vehicle back but told nothing wrong with transmission. Then told oil leak is now in a different place so its another 200.00? I was so disappointed with this auto repair shop because I gave a good chunk of money that I worked hard for and I trusted them to repair my vehicle. Decided to go elsewhere and found a great auto repair shop that my whole family trusts. Will never go back to Riverside Transmission and will not refer anyone. Took my money and stopped caring once they had it.

They are honest, reputable and genuine. They were willing to the take extra time to figure out what the real problem was with my vehicle and kept me informed when they were unsure of anything associated with my vehicle repair. I have never had a mechanic that took the time to truly find out what the real problem was with my car. This mechanic actually explained (in laymans terms) so I could grasp what was wrong with my car and was shown exactly how they were going to fix it. They worked on my car when I had a family member become gravely ill. They never called or harassed me about paying for my repairs. They remained honest, gracious and humble every step of the way.

Will never go to this place again was recommended by a friend in the racing community said these guys are upstanding took my 1971 Chevy Suburban I have a 700r4 transmission nothing but problems on brought it back to him they did fix the the shifting problem also during the repair of the transmission had to rebuild my drive shaft and carrier bearing after A Thousand Miles carrier bearing fell apart went into him the band on the cheap quality carrier bearing was broken told them what were they going to do told him I found one at another shop they was going to charge me $60 to put it on they handed me $60 instantly not a good way to run a business in my eyes will never go back to these people again also complained about working on a classic car just to get this straight there was no issues with my truck other than the transmission that you guys suck to repair
