Chadwicks is absolutely wonderful - a quilters or smockers paradise. The staff is warm, welcoming and helpful.

Really its the best fabric store in the Richmond metro area and if you are a quilter or sewist, you must visit. They also have the largest collection of Kaffe Fassett fabric in the State. I took off one star because they keep terrible hours for working women. Not open on Sundays. I know career women are not their target demographic, but some of us love hobbies too!

Oh my gosh. I walked in and could not believe the variety of fabrics they offer. Staff was nice and helpful. Look forward to spending time here taking classes.

AMAZING fabric selection! Patterns that are not mainstream brands (simplicity etc) but are so beautiful. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Fabric is a bit more expensive than say joannes, but the selection and quality are worth paying a bit more. My new favorite fabric shop.

Huge, warehouse size shop with an impressive inventory of gorgeous fabrics, beautifully displayed. Lots of lovely sample quilts on display. Large classroom. Very friendly, helpful staff members. If you are a quilter, you will enjoy visiting Chadwicks!

Was in the store recently. Am disappointed by the clerks saying unkind things about recent events. Several customers were joining in. I did not feel comfortable in the store.

This shop is definitely a 10 in my book. The staff is readily available if you need them. Abundantly stocked with all the latest fabrics as well as some traditional. Wish I lived closer.

Abdolutely beautiful and fun fabric that is unavailable anywhere else in town. Amazing prints for children’s clothes.

The people who work here are very helpful & nice. However the hours listed on Google are incorrect. The staff told me they have tried to change the hours and Google will not change them. They are open Monday- Friday 10-5 and Saturday 11-4, closed on Sunday.

We dont have many unique stores left here. Nice to see & to be able to select merchandise to order helps any gift giver or homeowner. Dont expect Walmart prices, but visit the website & decide on a visit. The staff tries pleasantly to help & offers opinions on material & patterns. Parking is quick & easy.

This store is HEAVEN for quilters....it has rhe supplies and a wonderful staff of experts willing to help. My best friend from high school who lives in Ohio sends me frequent requests for supplies. Also while I am here, I find many Christmas presents here. There is a wonderful stock of household items....baby gifts..and clothing for women. I LOVE THIS PLACE! Plus the owner Pat is gracious, charming and always willing to share her font of knowledge. Her store was an institution on Libby snd Grove and now its even more divine near the Goochland/Henrico county lines on Patterson.If you are making children cloths or a baptismal gown, you do not need to go to NYC. Everything you need is here. This is not an exaggeration-if this store was in London it would have the royal warrants on the building. When my.mother in law was a live and came for a visit her first request was always a visit to CHADWICKS and she owned her own store.

The store employees are always too busy to help with a question on the phone. I bought a sewing machine from this store in April of 2019. Usually the seller would give instructions about using the machine. Since I live far from this store, they just shipped the new machine. I had to beg for my receipt several times because they were too busy. Then I called to asked about what bobbin to buy, since the bobbins were clear and not marked for ID. That was 4 days ago, and she said someone would call me back, They never called. If I could, I would not give this store any stars. Like a used car lot, once you buy, that is it!!

Mom loves shopping at Chadwick Heirlooms and it is always enjoyable to take her and see how happy it makes her!

The folks here were extremely helpful. I needed fabric to replicate a mid-19th century petticoat. I took an 1860s original with me and the lady there was able to locate a pima cotton that looked like it came off the same bolt. AMAZING!!!

Big place and lots of fabric but the employees seemed too busy to be bothered. My sewing machine service was painfully delivered and without knowledgeable help. Was a self service type store.

We ordered an item on Chadwick Heirlooms web site. Shortly after ordering, my wife received an e-mail that the product was not in stock. When we called after two week of waiting for the product to become in stock and ship, they could not provide a timeframe when the product would be available, so we attempted to cancel the order. They had already charged our credit card (for only an out-of-stock item), and refused to cancel the order without a restocking fee (for an item they never had in stock). If an item was not in stock, they should not have charged the card in the first place. Clearly this store cares more about a few bucks than providing any semblance of customer support. We will never shop here again, and I would recommend that others avoid it as well.
