I stopped at this Fantastic Sams on September 28, 2021to acquire a trim on my hair. The stylist, Gayle seemed to be in a hurry, she stated she cut hair fast. I informed I was not in a hurry, she responded, you may not be but I dont have all day, I have two more appointments. After I got home and checked the haircut with a mirror, noticed the back of my hair was cut in a blunt cut, no shape, I spent more money today, October 7, 2021at a different hair salon, the stylist corrected the cut so I can manage it. I will not be returning to this Fantastic Sams location. I did tell the stylist today where I had received a bad cut.

I genuinely liked the hairdresser, Pepples, and have no complaint with the haircut, however halfway through I learned that she was not vaccinated against COVID, nor was she wearing a mask. This is so unacceptable. I cannot believe a person in a business environment would expose customers in such close proximity. So selfish and irresponsible. Because of people like this, we ALL will have to return to wearing masks and we will never eradicate this horrible disease. Shameful.

Picked this location on a whim and couldnt be more pleased. Walked in just to talk and check pricing. Walked out with an amazing cut and color. The best part, they listened to me and my needs. Very pleased and excited to return. Their pricing is affordable and they offer incentives.

I cut my hair on Wednesday @5 pm appointment. The cut was not perfect and also when I come I saw some hair didnt cut back and side and in my dress there was somebody hair

Sharlene is literally the only person I let touch my hair anymore. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars!!! She helped me get box red dye out of my hair last year, got me back to my natural color, added beautiful highlights, and always does a wonderful job cutting my hair. I ALWAYS leave happy with her work.

My family and I have been coming to this salon for while now, and we have had pretty nice results. Jennifer does a great job with cutting/ coloring hair. She is friendly and does a professional job.The prices are not bad, especially for getting a haircut and trim. You can normally do a walk in and find a spot available; and it usually isn’t too crowded at the salon (depends on when you come though).

I dont know that they closed at 7. I walked in at 6:40 and they were so sweet and gave me a cute hair cut! Areanna was very professional and thoughtful too!

I found Angelique after a bad experience at a high end salon. I was hooked after the first visit. Shes talented, fun and I always leave happy. The ladies at Sams are great and fun to work with. Their salon was a great find!

It happened two times to a bad experience at this shop. A very strange and non receiving behavior from staff. Early today I called to shop for appointment for 6:30, Staff has asked me they take their last appointment at 6:30, I reserved for 6:30, they asked me to reach before 6:30, but because of wrong map location I reached by 6:32 PM., they did not allow me and the with the tone that was very strong / not pleasing / harsh. And they were saying they charge 28$ for haircut. I will never go there again!!! It never had good experience with this Saloon.

Dont know why its so much negative reviews. This is the ONLY FANTASTIC SAMS THAT I WILL VISIT. Superior customer service skills. Excellent and friendly staff members. And the hairdressers ARE THE BOMB. I have had NOTHING but the best experiences there. Anyone who overlooks this place is a FOOL. If you dont believe.....GO VISIT AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!!!

Will not be a return customer any longer! Had been to this location several times with no problems. Walked in for a quick hair cut & planned on using a coupon I recieved from Fantastic Sams in my email. First off the greeting I received from the stylist behind the counter was not welcoming. Upon checking me in I showed her my coupon & said I would like to use it. She looked at it & said I never seen that one but its got our address with a somewhat rude tone in her voice. As she proceeded to walk to her chair to take me for the cut I heard her mumbling a rude comment about my coupon & a hair cut for $8.95. I felt completely disrespected as a paying customer. I guess she thought I couldnt hear her...Wrong!!! Glad I did. I told her since it seems to be a problem That I could go somewhere else. She responded with a rude tone again Oh its not a problem . I said nope Im good & walked out. Went to another salon where I was treated 20× better & yes I paid more than my coupon with no problem & gave a good tip. It should not matter if a customer pays $10 or $100 for any kind of service. I hope the Owner of this salon sees this post & I hope the stylist I had the encounter with does also cuz guess what I may have had a $9 coupon but would have left you a good tip & please dont act like a customer is doing you a favor, you are in the SERVICE INDUSTRY...Your job is making the customers feel important, Wish I knew her name but have never seen her in my prior trips to this salon. To the owner you lost a customer due to this experience today.

Did not meet the standards of it reputation in Alabama. I was really disappointed. Had a big bug crawling on the wall. The staff was friendly, nicely arranged.

HORRIFIC experience. A stylist named Jennifer bleached my whole head when I only wanted my roots bleached, she left the bleach on for over an hour! My hair is now falling out in chunks and I have chemical burns in my scalp and had to go to the doctor! My hair is also freaking orange!!! I will NEVER been going to this horrible and unprofessional place again. They also made me wait an hour and a half to even see me even though I had an appointment. Now my hair is ruined and I have to pay to get it treated just so I don’t go bald. Complete trash. NEVER GO HERE!!!!

My friend just showed me her hair and I must say this has to be the worst dye job I have ever see. Her scalp is burned and her hair is falling out. It’s a terrible yellow color and looks like a child did it. I see why you guys have a waver. It’s probably because you can’t do anything right so you don’t get sued when people find out youre trash hair stylist. I will make sure I tell everyone I know that this establishment is not worth the money or time.

Always polite and fast. Ive never had a bad haircut from them. They do try to sell products but wont try to force them if you say no.

I went to Fantastic Sams for a Groupon color and codition treatment . Debbie was wonderful. She has many years of color experience. My color came out perfect. I have made another appointment with her. She has very good customer service. Would highly recommend her.

I went last year and cant remember the name of the stylist, who colored my hair, but she was AMAZING. Should have had her do it this go around, but I went recently for a cut/color/full highlights w/ a Groupon ($70). It took 3 hours. (done by stylist Debbie) I thought it has to look great this many foils, 3 hours of work? I was wrong. The cut was great, but the color was not close to the roots and in the back the roots got bigger. Underneath my scalp you could see roots and behind my ears. I paid a $20 tip b/c of the work, and felt bad, but I decided I paid for a service I called back and asked if she could fix it. Many people saw my hair and said it looked horrible. When I went back she told me you cant go to the roots it would damage my scalp. I have had my hair colored/highlighted about 50 times in my life. It has always looked amazing and to the scalp, and it was even throughout. She just shouldnt do highlights. So she did an all over color. I picked out a lighter color blonde. It came out orange/yellow. I was there 3 hours again. Its a great place to go, just dont go to Debbie, ask for another stylist. I have to be honest. Paying $90 for a color it should be done right.

My stylist Jennifer was awesome. She did amazing job with my hair. I will be returning to her for more haircuts.

I have been going to this location for a LONG time, I only see Jennifer as she knows hair!The down side is the phones, it almost always go to the voicemail! P**s poor way to do business; and you NEVER get a call back!The star rating is ONLY for the stylist Jennifer.

Dont recommend at all. Went in on a Friday when its susposed to be $18 for cut and style. Was told to sit in a dirty chair with hair all over it, then charged $20 for a basic trim with no offer to wash or style. When I asked why I was charged that and no style, I was told it was extra for my long hair. I have hair just past my shoulders and she didnt do anything special at all- just a quick trim. Wont be going back and turned me off of fantastic sams period. Will spend the extra $10-$20 next time for a better experience at a quality salon.

I will never come back! I needed my ends trimmed, she (I think her name is Angelique) chopped off my bangs horribly. Then I gave her a coupon. She told me this one time she accepts it, but not in the future, since I have thick hair. I was shocked, because I DONT have a thick hair, so I said something. She very rudely responded I went to school for it.

Had to take my child to another place after to have the haircut fixed.

No one knew how to use the computer systems and my sister went to get her bangs trimmed and they cut off way too much and practically bullied my mom into trimming her bangs

Angel is the WORST hair stylist ever wouldnt ever go to her shes terrible I did not get what I asked for EVER. I do not reccomend.
