I have been going to this location for many months and if it wasn’t for already paying for a bundle of waxes I would of stopped coming a long time ago. Every single time I schedule an appointment, no matter how far in advance or last minute—they call to reschedule and give the excuse that the waxer I had scheduled was no longer with the company, this has happened 7 times in 3 months. As if they’re dropping employees like flies. It’s hard to imagine you can run a professional business in this manner.

Did a Full Bikini wax, the esthetician thought I would get a Brazilian and seemed put off by the job. Then was VERY rough on putting on big patches of wax and ripping them off immediately. I’ve been waxing my legs and bikini for the last 20years but this was one of the worst and painful experiences. No Pretreatment no post treatment no friendly words. In and out in 9 minutes for the price point of 48$ and then asking for tip?! Unfortunately I was so upset that I forgot to ask the name, just wanted to get out. Won’t book at that location again.

Some staff needs some working in their ppl skills. Techs are nice and friendly. Inside of the location is very clean.

I tried this place because of their first time promotion and because my previous aesthetician had moved on. The person doing my wax didnt know what they were doing. Their technique was terrible; waxing large sections at a time and peeling the wax off slowly vs. pulling it off in one fast motion. Obviously, the hair isnt going to come off this way so they had to go over sections multiple times and my skin suffered for it. I wont be returning to this place. Im not sure if all employees are as bad as the person I had but its not worth the risk, there are MUCH better spas in Richmond who do a very good job for a lesser price.

My wife went here to get waxed and they were very rude to her. Making her feel very uncomfortable! They need to work on their bedside manners. Shame!

Quick check in, wait outside till time of appointment. Polite, attentive. Only here once before years ago. Very nice, clean. Will be back.

Zakkiyah was absolutely amazing best specialist I’ve had and paid attention to all details and was very easy to talk to and all round a sweetheart highly recommended her

Not friendly. Stopped half way through. Didn’t talk much or explain anything just started and stopped. Apologized several times for my reactions (bc it hurt) and she didn’t reassure me or say anything nice. Not going back.

I usually use Jess everytime i get waxed but she wasn’t available during my free time. Jess is AMAZING. So no problem with the front desk as usual but I was put with the waxer Victoria today... none of my waxes HURT until today. I’m not sure if she had a bad day or something had happened at work but she was very rough and the appointment seemed rushed... and when she finished she says “okay we’re done you can get dressed” she didn’t talk to me the whole time, and was very stale which made me very uncomfortable. Then she quickly wipes the table down and as soon as i walk out to pay she calls in her next client! Next time i will just wait for Jess.

I cant say anything good about this particular branch. However they do get the job done. I was treated so horrible by the receptionist that I wont be coming back. They are snooty, rude, unprofessional, and asking a single question made me feel like I was bothering them or doing something wrong.Waxing is new to me, because of the unwillingmess to not explain prices or waxing in general. I felt uncomfortable, I dont know how they got some awesome reviews. Perhaps its a mistake or the wrong branch. But ! I wouldnt give them a penny

I scheduled an appointment for 9:30 Saturday 1/23/2021, appointment was confirmed and everything. I get a call asking if I could push my appointment back to 10:45 because the waxer would not be available at the original time. I said yes. I get there on my scheduled day and time. I use the mobile check in, never received a text or anything so I go inside to see what the issue is. The receptionist (not very professional) tells me that I missed the appointment b/c I missed my 5 minute grace period window. Ma’am I checked in on time which she confirmed by simply pulling up my reservation. She then proceeds to tell me to go back outside and wait only to call me back in a moment later to ask if I could wait around until 11:30 to get the services that had already been scheduled and confirmed???? Ma’am no thank you please go ahead and permanently remove me from your system. I will be taking my business elsewhere...you have one job to do and I guess being professional isn’t at the top of the list. Disappointed long time customer and excellent tipper!! #dobetter!!

Hands down the most friendly and knowledgeable staff I’ve dealt with to date. The front desk staff were extremely friendly, Zaria and Reyanna, helped me out with a wax pass from a different state. My waxer, Jamila, was amazing as well. Very quick and efficient! I will be back to this location.

The worst place for eye brow waxing. I just did my eye brow and I clearly said I didnt want thin eyebrows, I just want to clean. But she made my eyebrows as thin as possible and unsymmetrical eye brows. I will never visit this place. I just need to know how to get my year wax pass money back. I do not suggest this place for eye brow waxing.

Ive had a service down here a couple of times and never had a problem. Staff is usually great, I called today and had an unpleasant phone conversation with the receptionist while trying to make an appointment. She didnt allow me to get my questions out before hanging up. When I called back to let her know I still had questions she was extremely rude. I expressed that I felt that she was being rude and that I didnt to me she went on to say First of all I dont even know you, and secondly i answer calls all day You do not have to know someone to be polite.

This salon is so very unprofessional. They are raising prices in the middle of a pandemic. They treat employees extremely unfair. A waxer receives $2.70 for a $54 wax. 5% is all they receive for service commission. Employees who speak out on unjust treatment are terminated with no notice. The manager should be without a job for how she treats employees and how she has handled COVID. Staff was never accurately notified when other staff was exposed and they were warned to not communicate with other employees about being exposed. This is not okay to have someone like this in charge of people. It must be stopped.

I do not recommend this place, the girls in front of the desk are unprofessional. I made my appointment for Brazilian underarms waxing at 5:30, for being 5 min late they changed my appointment until 6:30 and without giving me the 2 services I requested. I lost my time. Realy realy bad service!

FIRST TIMER* I have to say this was such a horrible experience! Not one person in this establishment has any customer service.The ladies at the front desk were not friendly at all. No welcoming feeling whatsoever. They made rude faces and acted like the didnt want to service me. Completely unprofessional!The waxer that I had no personality and I felt like my appointment was being rushed. (After I left she hurried another appointment in behind me which let me know she was rushing) She was practically ripping the wax off of me. It was so painful. I didnt even get the full Brazilian as I planned to. She didnt talk me through it and even stated not a lot of people act like this after I told her it hurt and not to mention the wax was pipping hot.Please save yourself some time and find somewhere else to spend your hard earned money!

I will never return. I had an appointment at 10:30 I arrived for my 10:30 appointment only to be told my appointment was at 10:45. My appointment was at 10:30 am. I even showed her my confirmation email that said my apt is At 10:30. She told me to sit outside so I did and while I’m sitting there I got a confirmation email saying “thank you for changing your appointment to 10:45 am” so she literally changed my appointment while I was there. BUT IT GETS SO MUCH WORSE. I was then called back and two waxers walked into the room with me.. confused, I asked what was going on and the other lady said she was observing. So I asked if the waxer was new and they said she was in training. I had no warning at all prior to getting in the room my waxer was not experienced. She then had NO idea what she was doing and was hesitant to rip off the wax. She also even did it slowly and kept hesitating. It was so painful. And then they charged me. Even though my waXer was in training. I will NOT be returning.

I have been to multiple ewc because of living in different cities. Mary was one of the best and one of the most gentle wax esthetician that Ive ever had

Haneefa gives me a perfect wax everytime with very minimal pain. Her techniques makes waxing almost pain free. She has a great personality and pays very good attention to detail.

Booked Natasha for my first Brazilian wax. Let me be VERY clear when I say this wax did not hurt at all because of Natasha. She kept a conversation going the whole time to keep my mind off of what was going on and went over each area twice to be thorough. She even went through with tweezers at the end for a flawless wax, and coached me through after-care to keep smooth results. I was so impressed, she is sent from Jesus, and I’ll be booking with her forever.I had an excellent customer service experience checking out with April. She was very knowledgeable about waxing and had a very upbeat vibe to her which i appreciated. She answered all my questions and gave me some of her tips and tricks to keep her wax smooth, and ways to stretch my dollar at this EWC.Overall, i had an excellent experience here and purchased a years pass! The store itself was extremely welcoming and clean, with professional staff. Don’t spend your money anywhere else but here!

Aisha was great but front desk clerks are not professional nor customer friendly. Jobs are hard to come. Y these days and thats not cuatomer service.

This was my very first wax. Nazia was my waxer and she did an amazing job. She was very gentle and made my first wax easy and comfortable. She made my first wax very informational but comforting at the same time. She always told me what she was doing. Very great service. I will be back for my next visit with Nazia.

Today was my first time waxing ANYTHING and I did the under arms, half leg and Brazilian. My tech was Natasha!!! I was so nervous she made the environment very calm and put me at ease and explained everything. By the time it came to the lady area I was relaxed!!! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Natasha at the Willow Lawn location!

Nazia has been my wax specialist for the past 3 months & she is AMAZING! She is fast but she is also thorough. She also does a great job explaining after care & which products will work best for your type of skin. She is very serious about her job and I will never book with anybody else but her!!

Nazia was my waxer and she was amazing. She gave me tips on how to get rid of razor bumps and overall made my skin look amazing over the course of 2 months. She was very gentle and made my first wax easy and not awkward. She managed to make my first wax informational but comforting at the same time.

My was specialist was great. She was friendly and had great conversation. She knew what she was doing and made sure I was comfortable. The customer service at the front desk was awful. They werent really interested in speaking to the customer, they were more interested in speaking to one another. It was my first visit. No discount. No tour of any sort about what they provide.

I have to say this was my first time here and the experience was GREAT! I am a regular somewhere else but if I ever need a backup again I know just where to go!! Jess is THE BEST! My Brazilian is SMOOTH and she made sure I was hairless!! You have to appreciate perfection😘

I was having a great experience but they have a tendency of canceling appointments and not notifying that my appointment was canceled but will turn it around and say they never seen that that there was one.

They have a strict late policy. I arrived early & had to wait 15 min after my scheduled time. The lobby was loud crowded and chaotic. This is not my first wax and the experience was not great. Room was dirty. Table had hair on it. The lady was nice but had to rewax the same area several times. In the end it wasnt the best experience. Wont be back. Price was reasonable and the staff were very nice.

The Natasha did my waxing and was great she was nice kept the conversation going and warned me before she pulled. The only reason I’m not going back is because the of girls in the front. They was rude on the phone and in person. All 3 of them were. Unprofessional as hell so I personally won’t be going back

Booked Nazia for my Brazilian (first wax ever!) and she was amazing. Kept me calm and talked me through everything, and did a phenomenal job. Wouldn’t go to anyone else. ❤️❤️❤️

I literally come to her specifically bc of her Brazilian technique.I only rate 4 star because the front desk customer service isn’t always what you expect for a EWC in such a prominent location.Great experience overall, I give Natasha 5 stars!!

Definitely one of the best waxing experiences Ive ever had. Ive been to 3 different places and found that this place left me smoother for longer and I had little to no ingrown hairs like I have experienced at other places. I really like how they have long hours too, it makes it easier to get a wax when you work a 9-5 or similar schedule.

I went to the Willow Lawn location and had Jessie. She is amazing! It was painless and I went for my face and eyebrows. My eyebrows have never looked better and she was so thorough and professional. I highly recommend Jessie and the location.

It was my first time trying this place out, I was in town for a business conference and needed a quick eyebrow wax. Was greeted by Brittany at the front desk, who showed me all products while she was multi tasking. She did a great job with the knowledge of products and presentation. My waxer was great and efficient and did a great job. I will recommend this spot to all my friends and family because they show you how to fill in your eyebrows, which I thought was so cool. 5 stars from me!

Everyone is really friendly front desk is awesome at getting you into appointments and rescheduling. Everything is so clean. Ive been going there for a year now and Jess is awesome wouldnt change her for anyone else every time someone asks me about my experience there I always recommend them to Jess especially if it is your time being waxed Jess explains everything to you and recommends their great products. New client, I tried to make an appointment. Receptionist sounded like she had an attitude and was in a hurry, no time for me. Spoke too fast, I couldnt not understand some of her questions, I had to ask her to slow down. I did not go here as I didnt want to deal with them if their employees are like this. Not good first impression.

Always get what I need in a timely fashion. The ladies converse well with customers, making them feel relaxed and welcomed. Highly recommend!

About two weeks ago was my first time getting a Brazilian. I was super nervous (and being a fat girl made me even more nervous to go)! My appointment was with Amy and she is wonderful. She made the experience as easy as getting the hair ripped from your lady parts can be. She explained what she was going and talked to me through the appointment. Amy was very professional and I will definitely book my next appointment with her. The pain wasnt as bad as I thought it was going to be, so that was nice as well (but it still hurts...I mean...). Definitely recommend Amy and this location.

I wen rode my first Brazilian today. I had Whitney she was awesome and so nice. I never felt awkward at all. Everyone there was so nice and professional!

My first time receiving a Brazilian and I’m so disappointed. My Tech left hair at the back. I requested to be fit in the same day and was denied. That is very unacceptable! I understand there are schedules to be kept but I didn’t leave a full patch back there myself. That was your employees doing. I will not be returning. It’s sad how Customer Service isn’t a priority.

I made an appointment and when I showed up they refused me service because I have a medical condition that does not allow me to wear a mask. I was treated like a second class citizen because of an uncontrollable medical condition. I will never patron this business again.

Extremely disappointed in my experience today. I have been going to EWC for years and came in today for an eyebrow wax. They informed me that since I was 9 minutes late due to the express way being closed, my appointment was canceled. Receptionist was not apologetic in the slightest and made me feel like my repeat business was not valued. A friend recommended Glow Med Spa instead, so I’ll be taking my business there in the future. The prices are too high at EWC for the customer service provided. This is especially obvious to me since I work in the hospitality industry.

Come on people, 5 minutes grace period…I like their quality, not their prices…and they need to look into the grace period; made it there 10 minutes passed my appointment time, so you know what happen, need to go back today – not a happy camper.

Had appointment at 9:15 on Saturday. Got to front door at 9:15 and staff and clients were all standing in front of store because apparently the person with the key was late when they open at 9:00. Really unprofessional and inexcusable. How does that happen??? Made me me late for my 10:30 appointment.......Absolutely ridiculous......And to top it off got soaked with rain...

Ive been Brazilian waxing for about 5 years and always with the same person. A friend of mine recommended European Wax and I decided to give it a try. I am amaized how plesent the experience was. (Ive never thought I would say this about waxing). Hallie did AMAZING and I definitely recommend her.
