Victoria is my favorite its usually her and her dad there when Im shopping but have seen the mom. They are both extremely friendly and helpful they look for my products and remember me by name. If they are out at the moment she calls to let me know when it comes in. Victoria is so cool when she talks to me never rushed when she talks. I have bought a lot of hair care preform barrettes beads to loc care and weave. The best customer service here. Especially compared to the other one in the plaza near food lion. Thanks for always being kind and helpful.

I use to visit their shop in Ashland but once it closed I found them in Richmond. GREAT customer service, cute wigs for a good price.

I thought this place was a standard Beauty Supply, but it was all centered toward women of color, so I couldnt find anything I was looking for. I think its a fantastic place if you happen to need those products. Everything is there.

There’s another beauty supply store that’s actually closer to me and much larger but size and proximity are not as important to me as hours of operation and availability of products. Beauty Town has great selection at great prices and the owner is very nice and accommodating. I just left there. I made a purchase then before leaving I realized i forgot something. I ran back in and he told me I had to pay cash since it only totaled $2 and since I didn’t have cash on me, he gave it to me for free since i just made a purchase. That meant so much to me because i was about to go home just to get cash to give him but he was such a blessing. Its the best beauty supply store that ive been to!

They were very helpful. I needed 8 packs of hair and I was 60 miles away. They put it on hold for me because they only had 10 packs. Best service.

I purchase a defective bottle of nail polish from Beauty Town . When I returned it an hour later . The male owner was very rude to the point of accusing me of damaging the nail polish . Went on in this derogatory manner that included racial slurs. This was going on with African American customers present. He went so far as to tell me to go back to Africa. I will never patronize that store ever again.Rebuttal to the Store:My review was written over 2years ago and edited to correct a grammar mistakes 3days ago so that’s why date stamped it 3days ago. So let’s be clear your version of the story is obviously wrong because I haven’t been in your store since the last encounter over 2+ years ago. I am not the same person you are referring to in your review just to be clear. I would never ever patronize that store. I wrote that review to let people mostly African American people see how you don’t respect us as people only care about our dollars . NOT MINES

Store owner is racist and this store should be boycotted until closed. I was a bystanding patron while he snapped on a girl because of her discontent that they didnt have what she wanted. Shouted Americans are stupid and that the girl didnt know her colors. His wife went on to say this is a bad area. This is the very area you make your money. I doubt you could in short pump. Havent been back since.
