I called on Wednesday to see if I could bring a motorcycle in for inspection. The guy said to bring it in the following day before 8am. I got up at 7 and rode over in the rain and he denied that he had ever talked to me and said “if you get it here on Monday before 8am I can do the inspection. Clearly he doesn’t write these things down and just tells people to come in the morning. I even showed him the call on my phone from the previous day, verifying that it was the correct place.

I found this place by chance. They are friendly, knowledgable, good prices and dependable. Ive used them several times since and have been happy every time.

They left my windows down and my key in the ignition when I came back for it after closing. Also noticed something missing once I started checking what I had stored in my van. I guess I should count myself lucky my entire van didnt get jacked because it was left COMPLETELY VULNERABLE in a gas station parking lot at 8 OCLOCK AT NIGHT! service was ok otherwise though, if it wasnt for the stolen valuables and leaving my van unlocked and vulnerable to further theft Id give them a 4 outta 5.

The man who runs the garage is excellent. He is very knowledgeable and helpful. I have used them several times and have been totally satisfied.

Ive never met a more honest mechanic. They kept my older Ford alive to around 240,000 miles until I finally sold it, still running. Anytime I needed a repair or to pass state inspection, they would give me a high and a low cost: one to fix it perfectly and the other to just keep it running/be safe to drive. Phenomenal shop.Also, no joke, theyve got some delicious homemade Mexican food inside the gas station. What else could you ask for?!

I love going to this place i am 62 years of age i saw all this reviews, and i talked to the owner about all the negative reviews, he said there is no auto repair shop that does not get bad reviews, it simply those people no matter what you do they still angry or unhappy, they just born angry, he sai also that is ok he does not want that kind of customers,most of them are lying, so i will ignore the bad reviews,judge this person based on my experience with him.

Took the car for a alternator replacement and they broke the radiator and tried to cover it with glue. Crooked mechanic don’t take your car there.

I have been using the services of this business for years - since shortly after they opened it. At that time I had just moved to an apartment near to their location. There are several other similar businesses in the area, and I had been shopping around. Their labor charges at that time were $50.00 less than the best quote I received from others. Over the years, the others have steadily increased their labor charges, but the same is still true.I learned that in many of the other similar businesses, the person at the front gets a finders fee for anything he can sell you in addition to what you ask for. That wont happen here. The owner, Eid, has routinely gone to great lengths to find the least expensive solution for my vehicle. He offers options, telling me the pros and cons of each option so I can make an informed decision before the work is done.There have been times when I took my car to him to have something done, and he would actually talk me out of what I asked for and explain why, when he clearly could have made that money.I recently took my car in for inspection and oil change and he not only did the inspection while I waited, but also told me I didnt need that oil changed yet - not until I had driven an additional 2000 miles. From this type of experience, Ive learned that if he tells me I need something done, I can trust what he tells me.I highly recommend this business to my friends and neighbors.

Went for a state inspection. Receive two inconsistent check lists with what was wrong with my car. Ask for clarification and received none. Owner kept pushing me to use their service to fix my car. Took it to my own mechanic who found nothing wrong with my car except for one thing. When taking it back to the shop the owner was extremely rude and failed my car without checking the entirety of my car. (He admitted to not checking) incredibly rude and inconsistent service. Would not recommend to anyone

Do not take your car here. I went in for an inspection and they had my car all day. They said I needed front and rear brakes and front rotors which I thought I did. They quoted me a price of$500. I took it to another shop and got it done for half that price. I took it back to them to re inspect it and had to leave it all day again. They then found another part that was bad after reinspecting the whole car. I questioned this and they said it was their policy. I called state police and asked them about it and they said thats not how its done. So be careful going here because they are a ripoff

I had a shock mount that was too rusty to put new shocks on so the owner told me it would be extra as he would have to replace it. I got him to do the work, about a month later the shock mount breaks. He never did anything with the shock mount, just overtightened and stripped all of the bolts for the shocks. Very bad experience. Will be contacting him. Good thing it wasnt something like ball joints that could of caused an accident. Will not be back.

Sadly I have to leave a bad review. I liked the owner and I liked the mechanic but the experience was a nightmare.The short version:I was told it would take one afternoon but had to leave it over night.I was told one price but charged a higher price.The mechanic forgot to tighten down the tire lugs and my tire mostly came off on my short drive home.The mechanic came out with replacement lugs and put my tire back on. I was then fed a story from the owner that they wouldnt forget to tighten them and instead someone must have tried to steel my tire... the one they were working on.The full story:I took my car in for an inspection and to get a quote on changing my old type AC refrigerant to the new stuff. I was told it would cost $80 to hook my car up for AC diagnostics after which I could get a quote, I accepted. During the inspection they found a bad lower front shock bushing and my rear drum breaks auto adjust was not working and needed to be replaced on both sides. The breaks were quoted to me at $115.00 and the bushing I was told they did not have a replacement for (which was fine cause Ive done these myself and the shocks came with extras). As for the AC they didnt do diagnostics yet but the mechanic said it would be $400 to convert it which I declined and was told I wouldnt be changed the $80 since they never hooked it up. I accepted the break work and was told they would call the same afternoon when it was ready. They did not call so as 5:00 neared I called and was given some attitude for calling and not waiting to be called and that the guy who did the work would need to write the price ticket and they didnt know when he would be back. The next day in the early afternoon I reluctantly called again and was told it was ready sans attitude. The price included $40 for the AC diagnostics even though I was told I wouldnt be changed for it and that they had only looked at it instead of hooking it up. I didnt say anything about the $40.00. I took the car and headed home to change the front lower bushing with the plan to bring it right back to finalize my inspection. The car made some strange noises as I pulled into my driveway so I got out and, at a glance, realized my rear tire was all wonky! Only two of the tire lugs were on and loosely at that. They forgot to tighten them down! Had I gone anywhere further than home (a 1 min, 25mph drive) someone may have gotten hurt. Shocked and literally stuck I called the shop to explain I was in my driveway with a half on tire and no way to get back to them. The mechanic who did the work took my address and drove over with two lugs that fit my car. I changed the bushing while I waited about an hour for him to arrive. He didnt have enough tire lugs but I drove it back to the shop where he finished replacing the lugs and changed my rejection sticker for a standard passed inspection sticker. The mechanic and owner tried to tell me someone must have tried to steel the tire and that someone stole a head light out of a car last night while pointing at what looked like a parts car in their lot next to another car which had no lights or engine. Not to flat out say thats a sad lie but come on we all know the mechanic just forgot to tighten down the lugs. Why tell me a story and try to cover up a mistake. We cant use this place anymore. We need a shop that will accept responsibility and resolve issues when they arise not point fingers and deny.deny.deny. All in all I liked the owner, I liked the mechanic... I understand mistakes, But I dont want to be fibbed to or told one price then charged a higher price so for all this they get one star and lose a customer.Side note, I took off the rear tire that had previously fallen off and inspected inside the hub to be sure they did the work they said they did. If they were willing to tell me a story about an oversight that didnt hurt anyone whos to say they didnt fib about doing work especially when you cant see it... The work had been done and looked fine. Ill check the other side later.

Most trustworthy mechanics in Richmond. I have been taking my SUV to them for over 3 years. My first experience was when I took my 2004 SUV to them for a second opinion, after being told by another shop it needed expensive work. Eid quickly accessed the problem to a broken belt, I was so impressed by his honesty, I have been a loyal customer ever since. He is more then fair with his pricing, will even hunt down better pricing on parts. He stands behind his work 100%. His mechanics all operate with the same high integrity, and pride in their work. Quioccasin Tire & Auto Repair is a rarity, they will never take advantage, and their work is of the highest caliber. If anyone finds fault with this company there is something very wrong. Went in there for an inspection. They failed me for everything they could think of. The owner tells me he is going to charge me $300 for rear end light! I went to Autozone and replaced the bulbs for $7. Thats what you can expect here. Need less to say, I will never go back.

Unethical. Took my car for an inspection after getting all of the previous discrepancies fixed. I was not called when it was finished and found myself waiting about an hour for the mechanic to get back. When he returned, he said my car failed. Apparently, all sorts of problems were found under the hood (loose battery, leaks and other problems). Funny thing, my car has never leaked. I was failed on my suspension too, but just a couple hours prior I had work done at Sears and my suspension was fine. I think this place is more interested in dinging everything on a car and taking your money.

I went there for oil change and air filter and he put the old air filter back in let the oil cap off the engine drain plug was loose after leaving his location do not recommend going back to that shop i will not retun

Came across Eid by chance of getting a tire leak taken care of on a used car we had recently purchased. He told me to stop driving it right away and get in touch with the VA State Troopers. I am still currently trying to get it settled with the dealer and service center for fraud.He pointed out all the problems and lies that came with the car. And I had him fix them so I can have an accurate amount for filing against the fraud.He did an awesome job, was $20 within the estimate and explained all that he did and why. He does his best to find parts at the best price but not buying cheap aftermarket that fall apart.Overall - awesome mechanic, super honest, wry reliable, quick and friendly device. The only shop I will use around RVA. No reason to go elsewhere.

I am a first time customer. I suspected that I had a slow radiator leak and called to inquire if they could take a look at it. I spoke with Eid who agreed to look at it the next day. He called the next morning to confirm the leak and promised to replace by the end of the day. We got the car back that afternoon with a new radiator for around $500 parts and labor. Eid was very friendly and accommodating. My wife was happy for the quick turn-around so that she could continue with plans for out of town travel the next day.

All he said was lies, tried to up sell me said i needed an air filter to pass inspection and left 2 of my lug nuts loose on one of my wheels never will i go again.

I have got my car services at this place many time and my experience dealing with them is always great. Their rate is much lower than many other big name in the town. Havent had any problem dealing with them yet.

I dont know what other people here are talking about. This company is a stand up service provider. I have been a customer here for three years. Just to give you some idea of their customer service. Let my mom leave and pay on payday after the work was done, fixed my window for free (wouldnt roll up), gave me a price on tiers that was the lowest of 6 shops I called to quote, the called around to get me a better price on a part i needed, Failed an inspection because of broken headlights the quote was high so they helped me buy them myself online for over $200 less. These guys have been honest, efficient and fair consistently over three years and multiple cars. I highly recommend them. These guys are hard working family people and small business owner.

Very dishonest person selling cars from this place. Caught him in about 5 different lies. He was selling a Volvo V70, also had a Subaru Forester for sale. Carfax revealed everything he told me was a lie. Claimed he owned it 2 years, his wife drove it, and he was in the Marines...Carfax shows the car was purchased last month. He claimed he did all the work here at the shop including timing belt, yet Carfax shows it being done by the previous owner at various Volvo dealerships around VA. Jiffy Lube sticker in the window from about 2000 miles ago...what kind of mechanic takes their car to Jiffy Lube?! He said he had a coupon. Lies, on top of lies. Check engine light was on, then he claimed his friend who worked at the Volvo dealership told him not to worry about it.The car had New York state plates on it, even though it had a current VA inspection. When asked about the discrepancies in his story he kept making up more lies. Freddy claimed to be a mechanic at this shop, so by association this shop must be as crooked as they come.Dont trust this shop, or anyone who works there.

It was a nightmare for me to take my car for inspection, he made me to change everthings in my car, he told me to replace brake، rowters that i changed 3 months ago, and charged me for adujesting the headlights that i fixed a few days ago.

They dont know much about cars and they dont have set prices. I suggest you look somewhere if you care about your car.

The worst customer service ever!!!!! The owner was so rude to me!!!! My whole family has spent thousands in car repairs over the years. my grandparents especially!!!!!! And the store/gas station area hardly ever has anything.
