After days of searching for a new car for my son we stumble upon exactly what he wanted at car trends. And from the first phone call with Ernesto to check if it was available to driving off with his new car Ernesto was amazing. No pressure, greeted us with carfax in hand, told us to take our time test driving and took great care of us while we waited on the bank to process (took a bit but he held the car) I will for sure be sending people to Ernesto to purchase a car.

Ernesto was prompt and friendly in helping me. The cars were detailed well, the engines etc were cleaned and well lubed, decent tires, and a good market price for the year and condition of the car I bought.They were nice enough to clean up some corrosion on the battery of the car I purchased, not their fault, it happens with older cars, but they take care of their stock and are easy to deal with.CarFax were immediate, as was the Kelly Blue Book report. They didnt have any options I personally liked for financing, and I ended up going through my credit union, but the entire process was very swift.Be careful entering and exiting their driveways though, its a busy road!

I so wanted to give a fantastic review of this place. I was happy when I drove off the lot. Bought the owners brothers former vehicle. He sure snowed you Sir. It looked good on the outside, clean on the inside. I drove it. It seemed ok. I bought it. Took it to a Jeep dealer to have it checked out. O M G. The repairs it needs are going to cost me more than what I paid for the thing just to make it road worthy. Wow. Had a great experience purchasing the vehicle, the salesman was very nice, but I had no idea the thing has sooo much wrong with it. Major things, like the drive shaft is broken, front and rear differential leaks, valve gasket, shocks, multiple maintainance issues were not taken care of. The thing belongs in the junk yard, not in my garage. I would bring it back and get my money back if I could. So disappointed with the mechanical condition of this used vehicle. Ill take 50% of the blame for my trouble, but this thing should have been repaired before unloading it on an unsuspecting female.

I purchased a 2009 subaru legacy from car trends 2 in Oct 2019. The car is beautiful, drives perfectly and is an excellent investment. I took the car to an independent mechanic before purchase who said it was in very good condition and i got it for a great price. Definitely will return for future car needs.

Easiest car buying experience Ive ever had. Found the car on Craigslist on Sunday, after hours. Pictures were clear, description was good. Id owned this type of vehicle before, so I already knew plenty about it. I called on Monday morning and spoke with Ernesto. We quickly, and VERY easily worked out an agreeable deal (w/a crappy trade) over the phone in one try. I went in after work and test drove the vehicle. It was exactly as pictured and described. Ernesto was pleasant and helpful, and not overbearing. On Tuesday, my partner and I went back so he could drive the car. He liked it as well, we got to the sale part. We decided not to do a trade in, and paid that amount more, but it was still a great deal-I used the 3 big car appraisal sites to compare. There was zero pressure and I couldnt be more thankful. The other reviews on here and other sites really helped put my mind at ease buying from them. I would recommend them!

I bought a car from CarTrends in November of 2019. On my first visit, my sales rep was Ernesto who was very pleasant, easy to deal with and had an attentive no-pressure attitude. He was quite knowledgeable on the specifics of the car and even hoisted the car up so I could inspect the underside. On my 2nd visit, there was a miscommunication from the dealership and I was not able to purchase the car as a result. I informed Ernesto that I wouldnt be able to come back to the dealership for quite some time due to work, family and school restrictions. Honestly I have been to other used car dealerships that were unorganized and dirty. But car trends was very neat, professional and well put together. Pathetic service....i would give them a zero star if i could. stopped in to check out a Jeep wrangle today which caught my attention and no one was at the lot because they were on a test drive...I returned in 30 minutes and after talking to him for a minute about my trade and right away the guy hit me up with a ridiculously low offer without even looking or knowing more about it...offered me $2000 considering i had spend $2000 just in recent maintenance ontop of that my car is almost 10 years NEWER than the car i was looking at..I was still interested to work something out but it didnt seem like they cared much about doing business with me so i drove away right away. NEVER GOING TO THIS DEALER AGAIN. I Have bought MANY CARS and i am currently in the market for 2. I would rather goto bigger dealer as they really care about customer service.

I am a new great grandfather living on the East Coast and my wife and I decided to purchase a used van for our granddaughter living in Oregon. We came across a 2001 Chrysler Voyager LX on the internet offered by Car Trends. Erneto was very accommodating—we agreed on a price of $4,000—and I had the car shipped to Oregon. Unfortunately, after driving it less than 100 miles, the v6 Chrysler engine failed. There was no indication of any problem when we purchased the car and the terms of the sale were ‘as is’, which is standard for a car of this age with 99,000 miles Recognizing that Dealers don’t make a lot of money on the sale of used cars in this price range, I assumed that we were just ‘out of luck.’ Had this been any other dealer—that would have been true.In learning of the problem the owner of Car Trends Auto Sales—Chris Berger--was very sincere in saying that he was sorry that this had happened. Had this problem occurred after 1,000 miles it would have been a different story, but because this was a major problem that occurred during the first 100 miles of ownership, he offered to--and did--pay for one-half of the $3,600 cost of repair. Keeping in mind that Chris has never met me—and recognizes that it’s not likely that I would be a repeat customer because this was a unique long distance situation—he clearly was not obligated to nor did he have an incentive to do anything to compensate me for the loss.I thought it was important that I share this story in a review for those of you that may be considering purchase of a car from Car Trends. It’s clear to me that you would be hard pressed to find a used car dealer, that is truly as concerned about you and your purchase, as Car Trends is!Marty Smith
